Abstract

This study aims to produce worksheets based on the ICARE approach that are valid and practical and have a potential effect on algebraic arithmetic operations material. This research is a development research or Development Research. The LKPD development process goes through two stages, namely the preliminary stage and the formative evaluation stage. The LKPD was declared valid after being validated by three experts based on: 1. ICARE characteristics, 2. The suitability of the material to basic competencies and indicators of competency achievement, and 3. Grammatical compatibility according to the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). While the practicality of LKPD is seen from the responses of students in small groups in answering questions. The potential effect is seen from the results of students' final ability tests. student learning outcomes obtained an average final grade of 85.35 which means that student learning outcomes are classified as very good. So it can be concluded that the ICARE approach-based worksheets that have been developed have a potential effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop multimodal-based mathematics teaching materials on row and series materials using assistance media in the form of Power Point, iSpring Suite 10 and Website 2 apk builder. The method used in this study is the Waterfall model. A tool used to analyze compilers using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The result of this research is an android application from the development of mathematics teaching materials on multimodal-based lineups and series materials. Multimodal is a way of learning by combining several techniques, be it sound, visual and also writing. Testing this application uses a black box test, which is testing an application, which can be tested on anyone and the android media used in this test is the Samsung Galaxy A51. Based on the test results, all the buttons in the application work as intended. Then it can be concluded that the application of mathematics to the material of rows and series can be used to train students' mathematical reasoning skills, especially in row and series materials. For this application, it is hoped that it can be developed again in various ways, be it animation, design, features, practice questions, various and more varied quiz questions and more effective programming so that it becomes more interesting.

Abstract

This research is to describe the mathematical understanding ability of high school students on exponential material based on the achievement of each indicator of mathematical understanding. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were high school students Class X for the academic year 2021/2022 in the Karawang area which consisted of 3 students. The research sample was obtained through a purposive sampling technique, namely taking samples with certain considerations. The data collection technique used a test instrument which consisted of 3 description questions. Data were analyzed descriptively. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis with data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that the ability of students to solve exponential problems based on indicators of understanding is quite good. The results showed that on average students were able to understand the problem, students were able to understand the concept of the exponential equation, and students were able to adjust the exponential equation formula to the problem solving. However, there are errors where students have not been able to determine the set of solutions correctly.

Abstract

The background of this research is the observation that 30% of students KKM and 70% KKM, students who are less disciplined in doing and collecting assignments, speak impolitely, do not care about the troubles of their friends. The aims of this study are (1) to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product development of teaching materials for students with the sub-theme of the beauty of cultural diversity in my country to improve the character of love for the homeland in fourth grade elementary school students in the 2020/2021 academic year? Research and development (research and development) ADDIE model. Subjects 40 students. The research site is Lirboyo 2 Elementary School, Kediri City. Statistical analysis analysis techniques. It was concluded that: 1) The validity of the product development of student teaching materials with the sub-theme of the beauty of cultural diversity in my country to improve the character of love for the homeland in students, with a score of 92-96. 2) The effectiveness of the product development of student teaching materials with the sub-theme of the beauty of cultural diversity in my country to improve the character of love for the homeland in students, with the average score of student test results being 83.12 > 75 above the KKM. 2) The practicality of product development of student teaching materials with the sub-theme of the beauty of cultural diversity in my country to improve the character of love for the homeland in students, with a score of 88.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes based on Student Worksheets using the Realistic Mathematics Education approach. Realistic Mathematics Education is a learning concept that presents a material in the form of problems that must be solved by students based on understanding the concepts of everyday student life. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) adapted from the ADDIE development model, with 5 stages of development, namely: 1) Analysis (analysis); 2) Design (design); 3) Development (development); 4) Implementation (implementation); and 5) Evaluation. Based on the analysis of the assessment data from the questionnaire results of teaching materials filled out by students of SMPN 16 Malang class VIIIA, the results showed that the teaching materials developed were in the very good category with an average score of 87%. This shows that the teaching materials developed are very valid.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematical abilities assisted by LKS with the STAD type cooperative learning model through the Hand On Mathematical technique. Researchers used a quantitative approach in the form of Quasi Experiment. The study population was class VIII SMP N 43 Padang and the samples of this study were students of class VIII.1 as the experimental group who received treatment with the STAD type cooperative learning model through hand on mathematics techniques and VIII.2 as the control class who received conventional learning. The research instrument is in the form of a final test to see the understanding of mathematical concepts and problem solving. The results of the analysis show that: 1) The understanding of mathematical concepts taught by the STAD-type cooperative learning model through the hand on mathematics technique with LKS-assisted is better than that taught by conventional learning, 2) The mathematical problem-solving ability taught by the STAD-type cooperative learning model through the STAD-type cooperative learning technique. Hand on mathematics assisted by LKS is better than what is taught with conventional learning in class VIII SMP N 43 Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the errors of class IX junior high school students in solving the problem of a two-variable system of linear equations in the form of a narrative math problem. The research subjects were 24 students of class IX. This research instrument uses 3 narrative mathematical problems of a two-variable linear equation system according to the Newman error analysis indicator. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this study. The results obtained, some students have difficulty on indicators to solve problems involving a system of linear equations of two variables. Based on Newman's error analysis, the causes of student errors in solving two-variable linear equation system narrative math problems are: (1) 35% for reading errors in the very low category are caused by difficulties in interpreting the meaning of words or terms in the problem; (2) 61% for comprehension errors in the low category due to students not writing down the known and asked elements; (3) 50% for transformation errors in the very low category is due to difficulties in determining procedures and formulas; (4) 59% for process skill errors in the low category caused by errors in the calculation process; and (5) 58% for encoding errors in the low category were caused by students not writing conclusions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the achievement of each indicator that measures the mathematical understanding ability of high school students in the learning of Relations and Functions. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that seeks to describe students' mathematical understanding abilities. The subjects of this study were 10th Grade students in SMAN 2 Sintang which consisted of 30 students. The data collection method used is a matter of test material relations and functions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the level of ability of students in high school mathematics subjects is as follows: there is 1 student who scores below 50, there are 3 students who score between 51 and 60, there are 8 students who score between 61 and 70, there are 9 students scored between 71 and 80, there were 9 students who scored 81 and above. The perfect score was achieved by 30 students in the first question number. All partisipants got different results, the first indicator of students getting the fulfillment of the indicator of ability to understand concepts with very good categories, the second indicator of the fulfillment of indicators of understanding ability concept with sufficient category and the third indicator students get the fulfillment of the indicator of ability to understand concepts with very poor category. It can be said that students still have difficulty in solving problems in the form of distinguishing examples from non-examples and solving problems using concepts when solving problems.

Abstract

The independent curriculum policy emphasizes the development of the Pancasila student profile students through the learning process carried out by teachers and students. This study aims to describe the application of the RADEC learning model in chemistry learning to form a profile of Pancasila students in students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach involving one teacher and 34 students of class XII MIPA who carry out learning chemistry for voltaic cells. The research instrument was an observation sheet on the appearance of the Pancasila student profile, which the observer used as a reference in observing the learning process. The results showed that, in general, the profiles of Pancasila students, namely Faith and Faith in God Almighty and Noble Morals, Global Diversity, Mutual Cooperation, Independent, Critical and Creative Reasoning, were identified to have increased from the first meeting to the fourth meeting of learning and the syntax of the RADEC learning model could facilitate the formation and development of student profiles of Pancasila according to the characteristics of the characters and types of learning activities. The results of this study indicate that the RADEC learning model is one of the learning models that teachers can implement when viewed from the perspective of forming a Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

Determination of the shortest path or the fastest travel time is a problem that occurs to drivers of trucks loaded with fuel oil (BBM) when delivering their tanks to one of the public refueling stations (SPBU) in Pal Lima. To get to the destination, several paths that can be passed. This study aims to determine the shortest path and fastest travel time using Dijkstra's algorithm. Dijkstra's algorithm can be used on both directed and weighted graphs. The first step that must be done is to determine the starting node and destination node. After that, the calculation is carried out from the initial departure node to the neighboring node, the node with the smallest weight is used as the next calculation node. The same is done until all nodes are evaluated. Crossroads are assumed as vertices and between intersections as edges in Dijkstra's algorithm. From the results of the study, the shortest path was obtained through the Kapuas 2 Toll Road, Jl. Adi Sucipto, Jl. Imam Bonjol, Jl. Tanjung Pura, Jl. Rahadi, Jl. Mr. Love, Jl. Hassanudin, Jl. H. Rais, Pal III, Pal V with a minimum distance of 12,768 Km. For the fastest route, it is through the Kapuas 2 Toll Road, Jl. Major Alianyang, Jl. Arteri Supadio, Jl. General Ayani, Jl. Abdurrahman, Jl. Sultan Syahrir, Dr. Sutomo, Jl. Dr. Wahidin, Jl. Pal V with the fastest travel time of 27 minutes.
