Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahar ajar IPS kelas III MI pada materi lingkungan alam dan buatan berbasis kearifan lokal yang valid, praktis, efektif terhadap hasil pembelajaran peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari tahap Preliminary (tahap persiapan dan pendesainan) dan tahap Prototyping menggunakan alur formative evaluation (self evaluation, one to one, small group). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar walkthrough, angket dan tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III MI. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh simpulan : 1) menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal yang valid dengan melihat komentar, saran dan hasil pengisian lembar walkthrough oleh validator; 2) menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal yang praktis dilihat dari pilihan jawaban peserta didik pada lembar angket; dan 3) menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal yang efektif dilihat dari hasil yang di uji cobakan pada peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out the answers vis-a-vis the implementation of SKI learning by using varied methods towards the students of class V in MIM 10 of Karang Anyar, Curup, Bengkulu, through the application of a qualitative approach. In order to answer the questions as regards the implementation of such varied methods, some data collection techniques were deployed. Those techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data were obtained, the data were further processed, presented descriptively, and concluded. This study found a conclusion that the variations of learning methods used for the Islamic Culture History subject at class V in even semester included lecturing method, story-telling method, question and answer method, discussion method, drilling method (exercise), and recitation method (homework). The obstacles faced by SKI teachers in applying these varied methods extended to the lack of time allocation available for SKI learning, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support the application of the varied methods.

Abstract

This research aims to develop innovative Mathematics learning media at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Miftahut Thulab Brambang, Karangawen. This research was conducted to overcome the problem of lack of student learning motivation and to improve student learning outcomes MI Miftahut Thulab Brambang Karangawen in Mathematics subjects specifically KPK (Smallest Alliance Multiples) and FPB (Biggest Alliance Factors). This research belongs to the type of research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model. The population used was grade IV MI Miftahut Thulab Brambang students, Karangawen. Data analysis uses quantitative description techniques. The results showed that the development of instructional media through powtoon was effectively used as an alternative media in delivering KPK and FPB material. The results of the application of the media illustrate the effectiveness of the media of learning mathematics through powtoon with an average grade grade up 45% from 60.5 to 87.5. The completeness value increased from 45% to 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the strengthening of disciplinary character education and social care in Thematic Learning at 03 State Elementary Schools in Pagaralam City. This research includes planning carried out by teachers in strengthening the character of discipline and social care in thematic learning in grade I, and implementing thematic learning in strengthening. Discipline character and social care for grade I (one) students. The research approach is qualitative with the type of case study research. The results showed that the learning planning process of disciplinary character and social care is contained in the syllabus and the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and the implementation of Thematic Learning uses the Scientific approach, Problem Based Learning learning models, and the methods used in strengthening character are reward and punishment and peer tutors.

Sumber daya alam yang semakin menipis akibat ekploitasi besar-besaran oleh manusia. Hal tersebut tentu mengancam keberlangsungan hidup semua makhluk. Manusia sudah mengalami kemerosotan karakter. Diperlukannya kesadaran untuk menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan. Lembaga pendidikan memiliki peran atas hal tersebut. Sekolah dasar sebagai jenjang awal peserta didik menerima ilmu menjadi sarana yang sesuai untuk menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan. Hasil belajar yang baik tidak hanya diukur dari nilai myang tinggi, tetapi juga sikap dan keterampiulan yang baik. Sehingga sekolah memiliki tanggungjawab akan hal tersebut, yakni salah satunya dengan karakter peduli lingkungan, mengingat urgensinya saat ini. Prestasi belajar tidak hanya dipengaruhi oelh bagaimana peserta didik memahami pelajaran saja, tetapi juga lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung. Ketika li9ngkungan sekolah mendukung, maka secara langsung akan berdampak pada kecerdasan emosional peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah studi kasus. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah tempat, pelaku dan aktivitas yang berinteraksi secara sinergis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui upaya penanaman pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan pada peserta didik dan hasilnya terhadap kecerdasan emosional peserta didik. Kata-Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Peduli Lingkungan, Kecerdasan Emosional Abstrak Planet Earth as a place to live for humans is increasingly experiencing damage. Natural resources are depleting due to massive exploitation by humans. This certainly threatens the survival of all creatures. Humans have experienced character degeneration. Awareness is needed to protect and preserve the environment. Educational institutions have a role in this. Primary school as the initial level of students receiving knowledge is an appropriate means to instill a caring character for the environment. Good learning outcomes are not only measured by high scores, but also good attitudes and skills. So that schools have the responsibility for this, one of which is with the character of caring for the environment, considering its current urgency. Learning achievement is not only influenced by how students understand the lessons, but also a supportive school environment. When the school environment is supportive, it will directly impact the emotional intelligence of students. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. The objects in this study are places, actors and activities that interact synergistically. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to cultivate character education caring for the environment in students and the results on the emotional intelligence of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze integration of character values in mathematics learning for Elemantry School (SD) or Islamic Elementary School (MI) in particular Al-Khwarizmi's perspective. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method with a library research approach. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. Documentation includes searching for data in the form of articles related to the results of Al-Khwarizmi's thought and mathematical learning in SD/MI. The analytical technique used is content analysis which is carried out by selecting, analyzing, comparing and combining the various opinions listed in the articles analyzed so that they are found that are more relevant. Al-Khwarizmi is one of the Muslim scientists who contributed to the field of mathematics and is called the father of al-jabar. The results of this study found that the results of Al-Khwarizmi's thought in the field of mathematics have a specialty in which his thought contain many character values ​​that can be imitated including religious value, discipline value, honest value, hard work value, critical, logical, creative thinking value. and innovative value, curiosity value, communicative value, independent value, responsibility value, self-confidence value, democracies value, reading value, and fair value, compassion, and friendship.

Abstract

Teaching materials are the most important part of education when learning is especially carried out with an online system at this time. Obstruction of communication between educators and students results in education not running perfectly. Poor communication makes educators unable to convey learning material well. Besides, many students feel bored because the material presented is very monotonous. This is where the importance of educator creativity is needed. Educators must be able to make teaching materials as attractive as possible to attract students' interest in learning. Besides that, in a situation like now, it is also very important to cultivate self-regulated learning in students so that students are accustomed to learning independently. Therefore, this study was designed to find out how useful interactive video teaching materials are to foster self-regulated learning in students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using data collection methods in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 46 students of class VI MI Al Fithrah Surabaya as the sample. This study results that the use of interactive video teaching materials during online learning is able to help foster self-regulated learning in students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement of students' learning liveliness in natural science subject at class IV of state Islamic elementary school (MIN) by applying the Giving Question and Getting Answer learning strategy. The research approach of this research is classroom action research by three action cycles referring to the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subject of this study is the students class IV at MIN 2 Bandar Lampung TA. 2018/2019 as many as 30 students. The data is collected through observation, interview, documentation, and test. Analysis of this study uses qualitative and quantitative data approaches. The research discovery proves that the GQGA strategy is able to improve the students’ liveliness and learning oucomet viewed by three aspects: cooperation, expressing opinion, and problem solving which an average of cycle I is 71.71%, cycle II is increase 82.18%, and cycle III also is increase 88.07% from the standard achievement 80%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the GQGA strategy can improve the students’ learning liveliness in the natural science learning on the theme "caring for environment, the various jobs, and my hero".

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning media in the form of science comic that can improve conceptual understanding and learning independence of class VI students. This development research adapts the development of 4- D model media, but only until the Develop stage. The trial design carried out is the validation test of material experts and media experts as well as teachers, limited trials and field trials. The data collection instruments use questionnaires, question sheets and validation sheets to obtain qualitative and quantitative data. The questionnaires and questions used to collect the data are also validated first. The results show that the media developed by experts is in the "very good" category, the student assessments show that this media are practical and efficient for learning so that the media is feasible to use. The results of the field test based on the data analysis, the effect-size value of concept understanding of 0.758 is in the high criterion, and the learning independence of 0.540 is in the high criterion. These results according to the effect-size analysis mean that learning media in the form of science comic can improve conceptual understanding and learning independence of class VI students in the high category.

Abstract

This research stems from the lack of variety of learning media in teaching and learning activities soit is necessary to develop interesting funny products in the form of comics as learning media. Thisresearch describes three items, the first is the development proses of environment-based Islamiccomic media. The second is expediency of environment-based Islamic comic media. The thirth isthe response of educator and student toward environment-based Islamic comic learning media inclass IV SD/MI. This research is a research and development study by ADDIE model whichincludes 5 steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation evaluation. The productfeasibility test was conducted by several validators, namely 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 2linguists, 1 religious expert, 3 class IV teachers on class IV. The research results showed thatenvironmentl-based Islamic comic learning media gained an average percentage of material expertsat 93% with a very decent category, media experts got a score of 80% with a decent category,linguists got a score of 85% with a very decent category, ratings educators get an averagepercentage of 90.75% with a very decent category and the response of students get an averagepercentage of 96% with a very decent category. This shows that Islamic environment-based comicsthat have been developed are very suitable for use as learning media.
