Abstract

The aim of this article is to investigate the influence of work stress on employee motivation at CV. Aneka Teknik in Binjai city, to examine the impact of motivation on employee performance at CV. Aneka Teknik in Binjai city, and to explore the combined influence of work stress and motivation on employee performance at CV. Aneka Teknik in Binjai city. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The population consists of 25 (twenty-five) permanent employees at CV. ANEKA TEKNIK Binjai, and the researcher distributed questionnaires to all of them to gather data for analysis. The data obtained are numerical and are used to analyze the relationships between variables. Based on the partial analysis, the independent variable of Work Stress (X2) has a significant negative influence on the dependent variable of Employee Performance (Y) at CV. Aneka Teknik Binjai. However, based on the simultaneous analysis, the independent variable of Motivation (X1) does not have a significant influence on the dependent variable of Employee Performance (Y) at CV. Aneka Teknik. Nonetheless, the simultaneous analysis reveals that the independent variable of Work Stress (X2) has a significant influence on the dependent variable of Employee Performance (Y) at CV. Aneka Teknik Binjai.

Abstract

Parental parenting has an important role also for the development of moral behavior in children. The Indonesian Child Protection Committee (KPAI) assessed that the way of interacting with educated children this year was quite high due to aggressive behavior. In a society, aggressive attitudes are behaviors or attitudes that are widely disliked and tend to be avoided. This is because in social interaction, aggressiveness leads to danger and behavior. At the beginning of adolescent development, the family is the most important environment. The style or way of parenting each parent in educating their children is also different. There are parents who want to discuss or be open in any case to their children and there are also parents who do not want to discuss or be closed in any case to their children. At this time parents, families and the environment play a big role in the development of children, so that they can successfully go through the development process.

Abstract

One of the learning strategies accordance with the curriculum is learning with the PAIKEM GEMBROT approach, namely active, innovative, creative, effective, fun, happy and meaningful learning.  By utilizing the school environment as a learning resource, the implementation of GEMBROT PAIKEM learning will enable students to develop their creativity, motivation and participation in learning.  Meanwhile the reality is that many teachers who rarely or never even take advantage of the school environment as a learning resource.  Likewise in KKG, the teacher's ability to discuss is still not active and creative, so that the teacher's ability to use the school environment as a learning resource is not good.  This study was designed in the form of School Action Research that consisted of two cycles, where each cycle was carried out in two to three meetings.  The subjects of this study were teachers at SD Negeri 024763 Binjai consisting of ten teachers.  From the results of the implementation of the research, the following data were obtained: In the first cycle the average value obtained from the teacher's discussion attitude was 79.38 or "enough" category, while in the second cycle the average value obtained was 83.34, the "good" category, the average value obtained from the assessment  the learning scenario in the first cycle is 80 categories of "enough" while in the second cycle the average value obtained is 83, the average value obtained from the assessment of the implementation of learning in the first cycle is 79.38 or "enough" category, while in the second cycle  the average value obtained is 83.34 or "good" category.

Abstract

Games have the potential to be one of the most useful methods of teaching speaking skills, but early observations made about the use of games in class indicate that the game being applied is not suitable for the class. One of the problems observed is that the games used require a lot of time to prepare and only allow a small number of students to talk. This study aims to improve the process of using games to t each speaking by conducting participatory classroom action research in one of the schools in SMP  DHARMA KARYA BERINGIN. The research process follows the steps: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. There are two sets of instruments to be used in this study, a list of observations researcher and teacher questionnaires. T he st udents are gi ven a pre-test and post -test to de ter mine the increase in the skills of the students. The results showed that the game ‘Question Game” fits the needs of the class and meets the criteria of ethical speaking game theories after being given several modifications. T-test results on student scores indicate that the improvement made is significant in each cycle. Every aspect of students’ speaking skills also makes a significant improvement with t ob t crit.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance middle school students' understanding of static electricity material by implementing the jigsaw method. The research was conducted within the context of classroom action research and intended to improve the science learning process concerning the concept of static electricity. Research data were collected using achievement instruments and student learning activity observation sheets, presenting the data as they occurred during the learning process. Actions provided to the research subjects included cooperative learning of the jigsaw type implemented over four cycles. The research stages encompassed action planning, implementation, action observation, and reflection. The research findings indicate that the utilization of the jigsaw method in enhancing the understanding of the static electricity concept in science education has been successful. The improvement in students' understanding of the static electricity concept is evident through the progression of their learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle IV.

Abstract

Based on an observation done at Senior High School 1 Badar, the most common problems found was on student worksheets (LKPD) used in the learning process which only in the form of question sheets so that they only focused on verbalism skills. Based on this issue, the researcher want to develop the students worksheet (LKPD) and find out the appropriateness of the development in student worksheet based on guided inquiry. This is researh and development (R D), which is a method used to produce a particular product by testing the effectiveness of the product. Validation of material experts on the content feasibility component shows the total score of 194 with a percentage of 88 .18%, with the "Very Eligible" category. Validation of material experts on the linguistic component shows the results of the total score of 115 with a percentage of 82.14%, with the "Very Eligible" category. Validation of material above on the presentation component shows the total score of 124 with a percentage 88.57% in the Very Eligible category. Based on the above calculations, the observations made by  the experts about the entire part of the teaching materials for student worksheets reached 86.29%. If it is matched with the table of eligibility criteria, then this achievement score is included in the Very Eligible criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the student worksheet (LKPD) Based on the guided inquiry approach can be used in the learning process in secondary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the Deli Serdang Museum was active during the pandemic. By conducting online-based activities, the Deli Medium Museum provides tourism education to the Deli Serdang community. The Deli Serdang Museum provides something new during the pandemic in providing services to the community, by using social media the public can enjoy the tourism education provided by the Deli Serdang Museum online from home. This writing uses a descriptive qualitative method by conducting observations, interviews and literature studies.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the basic teaching skills of teachers in the classroom in carrying out tasks at SD Negeri 050767 Perkebunan Serapuh for the 2019-2020 Academic Year in order to improve the quality of learning carried out by teachers every meeting to students in the classroom. This type of research is School Action Research (PTS). The results of the first cycle research can be seen that the basic teaching skills of teachers at SD Negeri 050767 Perkebunan Serapuh in cycle I get the Less category with an average percentage of 57.3%. Then the results of the second cycle of research can be seen that the basic teaching skills of teachers at SD Negeri 050767 Perkebunan Serapuh get the Good category with a percentage of 80.6%. Based on the results of the first and second cycle research, it can be concluded that the basic teaching skills of teachers in SD 050767 Perkebunan Serapuh can improve after academic supervision of class visits.

Abstract

This research aims to  know the effect of the problem based learning model on students’ ability of mathematical problem solving of second semester Science education study program students of STKIP Al Maksum Langkat 2021/2022 academic year on the subject of basic mathematics. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were all second semester students of Science Education Study Program of STKIP Al Maksum Langkat of 2021/2022 of academic year. Two from the three classes  were selected as research samples.  The purposive sampling technique was carried out in this study. The test of mathematical problem solving was used as the instrument to collect the data. The Technique of data analysis was using the data prerequisite test. The finding showed that there was a significant effect of the problem based learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This finding was based on the hypothesis  t-test or independent sample test at a significant level (α) = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis from the research, it was obtained that the average score of the  students’ mathematical problem solving ability who were taught by the problem based learning model increased better than those given conventional learning, where the increasing score of those given the treatment by using problem based learning model was 10.1333 while the increasing average score of the control class was 3.0667. The hypothesis testing was conducted in this study to know whether there was a significant effect of the problem-based learning model on students’ ability of mathematical problem solving. The results were obtained that the value of significant level (α) = 0.05, was 0.000 0.05, which means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Therefore, it can be stated that there was a significant effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the suject of basic mathematics.
