Abstract

Humans are creatures who think and feel and will, then humans will continue to grow. In the period of human development will always pass through its own stages, namely from adulthood to old age and ends with death. After experiencing a long childhood and adolescence, an individual will experience a period where he has completed his growth and requires himself to be in society and with other adults. As an individual who is already an adult, his roles and responsibilities will get bigger and stronger, no longer depending on his parents economically, sociologically or psychologically. They feel challenged to prove themselves as independent adults.

Abstract

This paper examines how the process of social dynamics of the Angkola Batak takes place. There is a need for the Angkola Batak community to be able to understand the ins and outs of his family tree properly and correctly, by seeking identity their baldness which will later become the history of life. As we see a lot of today's society The Angkola Batak are again concerned about their ancestors, not just looking for grave land, instead find out about their tarombo and then form a network in line with tarombo the. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach to be able to produce descriptive data regarding the processes of ongoing socio-cultural dynamics. The problem discussed is how the processes of community interaction what happened, and what caused the community to care about the village again page. Have a positive impact on efforts revitalization of these aborigine values as historical sources. The Batak land of Angkola is an ancestral land passed down hereditary as evidence of the existence of a clan in the lifetime of the ancestors who introduced to the next generation. Deep maintaining the Batak culture of Angkola in particular, the parents did formations of the unity of the descendants of the ancestors. This unity will later function strengthening the existing kinship system, becoming a learning platform for the younger generation in knowing the ins and outs of their ancestors and knowing the existing kinship system in Angkola culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the traces of social history in the traditional craft of Batubara songket in Batubara Regency. Songket Batu Bara woven fabric continues to evolve with the times, songket has even become a popular choice for traditional Malay wedding attire, especially in Batu Bara regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out by observation, document analysis, interviews, and literature studies. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques were used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the Batu Bara Malay songket woven fabric is a traditional woven fabric that has become a cultural heritage for the Batu Bara people. Batu Bara Malay Songket was already known during the reign of the Batu Bara Sultanate. The functions of the Malay Batu Bara woven songket include, as a reinforcement of identity, an expression of love, to maintaining the continuity and stability of Malay culture, when someone wears a Malay songket, they are already carrying out the function of the Malay songket woven fabric and also developing culture.

Ideology provides it with "ready-made", which seems to have the power to organize opinions (arguments) This research uses a qualitative approach, with a research design that develops and is open adapted to field conditions. Adjustment to field conditions is used with respect to the relevance of the problem under study, the use of theories and concepts and method used, the objectivity of the research results is based not on the proof of generalization.  The process of objectivization carried out simultaneously through externalization and internalization which in the process of its socialization gives rise to changes that are not uncommon as a matter of concern, such as nervousness or relative deprivation. The moment of simalungun ethnic objectivization is based on social organizations that carry ethnic names, such as Partuha Maujana Simalungun (PMS), Simalungun Protestant Christian Church (GKPS), Simalungun Islamic Family Association (IKEIS), Simalungun Student and Student Association (HIMAPSI).

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS memiliki peran yang penting dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku positif siswa. Mata pelajaran IPS, yang melibatkan kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, dan politik, memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mempelajari dan menerapkan nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kerja sama, toleransi, dan kepedulian sosial. Dalam pembelajaran IPS, nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dapat ditanamkan melalui berbagai metode dan strategi pembelajaran yang interaktif, seperti diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, atau penggunaan media dan teknologi yang relevan. Pembelajaran IPS juga membantu siswa memahami keterkaitan antara nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dengan konteks sosial dan kehidupan nyata, di mana mereka dapat belajar tentang penerapan nilai-nilai seperti keadilan, demokrasi, dan hak asasi manusia dalam masyarakat, negara, dan hubungan internasional. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran IPS memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan pemikiran kritis dan analitis. Namun, kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah juga diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang mendukung pembentukan karakter siswa.

Peranan media film dalam pembelajaran sangat penting karena melalui film dapat membentuk pendidikan karakter mahasiswa. Cerita-cerita yang disajikan dalam film mengandung pesan-pesan yang baik sehingga dapat dicontoh dan diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan. Film adalah salah satu media yang paling tepat digunakan dalam pembelajaran, nilai-nilai yanglada dalam film membawa arus perubahan karakter mahasiswa. Pada program studi pendidikan sejarah UISU pada mata kuliah sejarah lokal, penggunaan film sebagai sumber pembelajaran memiliki manfaat yang signifikan. Mahasiswa dapat menikmati pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik, serta memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang sejarah lokal. Pemilihan film yang relevan dan akurat secara historis, pengenalan konteks sejarah sebelum menonton film, diskusi sebelum dan setelah menonton film, analisis kritis terhadap narasi film, dan penelitian tambahan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang topik yang diangkat dalam film adalah semua tindakan yang diperlukan dalam penggunaan media film. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitiatif deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang menyajikan temuan dalam bentuk deskriptif kalimat yang rinci, lengkap, dan mendalam yang menggambarkan situasi sebenarnya guna mendukung penyajian data. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata, kalimat atau gambar yang memiliki arti lebih bermakna daripada sekedar penyajian angka atau frekuensi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dasar yang menekan pada objek dan faktafakta yang tampak yaitu penerapan media film pada mata kuliah sejarah lokal sebagai penguatan pemahaman tentang teknik penelitian sejarah untuk Mahasiswa prodi pendidikan sejarah FKIP UISU Medan.
