Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of school fees, age and gender on children’s education level in Indonesia. Variables in school fees are school fees, equipment and transportation. The age variable is the sample that is aged 15 to 25 years. Gender variables consist of male and female. This study uses secondary data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey 5 (IFLS 5). The sample in this study were 2,601 respondents. It employs regression analysis and quantitative approach. It proves that there is a significant effect between school fees, age and gender on children's education levels.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh biaya sekolah, usia, dan jenis kelamin terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak di Indonesia. Variabel biaya sekolah adalah biaya bersekolah, peralatan sekolah dan transportasi. Variabel umur adalah sampel yang berumur 15 sampai 25 tahun. Variabel gender terdiri dari laki laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari Indonesian Family Life Survey 5 (IFLS 5). Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 2.601 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis ini membuktikan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara biaya sekolah, usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak.

Abstract

Abstract: The construction of agent subjectivity in learning, from a social point of view, is formed through learning. The subjectivity of literature lecturer readings is formed through structuration carried out by educational institutions. Therefore, this study aims to (1) describe the disposition of literary readings of literature lecturers and (2) describe the objectivity of the subjectivity of literature lecturers to literary readings. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data analysis in this research is based on Pierre Bourdieu's theory of cultural reproduction. The results of this study indicate that the socio-cultural background is the basis for the initial formation of value subjectivity in literary reading. The accumulated experience during the education period structures the subjectivity of literature lecturers in choosing literary readings. The objectification of the subjectivity of literature lecturers is manifested in the form of choosing reading materials that are suggested to students in college learning.Abstrak: Konstruksi subjektivitas agen dalam pembelajaran, dalam sudut pandang social, terbentuk melalui pembelajaran. Subjektivitas bacaan dosen sastra dibentuk melalui strukturasi yang dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan disposisi bacaan sastra dosen sastra dan (2) mendeskripsikan objektivikasi subjektivitas dosen sastra terhadap bacaan sastra Penelitian ini merupakan penilitian kualittatif dengan metode deskriptif. Analisis data pada peneilitian ini didasarkan pada pemikiran teori reproduksi budaya Pierre Bourdieu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang sosio-budaya menjadi dasar pembentukan awal subjektivitas nilai pada bacaan sastra. Akumulasi pengalaman pada masa pendidikan menstrukturkan subjektifitas dosen sastra dalam memilih bacaan sastra. Objektivikasi subjektifitas dosen sastra diwujudkan dalam bentuk pemilihan bahan bacaan yang disarankan kepada mahasiswa pada pmebelajaran di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract: Discipline character cannot be realized without continuous habituation. In portfolio assignment-based e-learning, students can practice habituation. If the habituation of discipline is continuously carried out through the portfolio lever, students will get a strengthening of the character of discipline and optimal learning outcomes. By using qualitative research type phenomenology on 42 students in the PIPPKn course, this research aims to answer how to implement e-learning based on portfolio assignments that have an impact on strengthening the character of discipline and student learning outcomes? Data were obtained through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with descriptive percentages. The results show that portfolio assignments can familiarize students with discipline in completing assignments. This habit has an impact on the acquisition of significant positive learning outcomes.Abstrak: Karakter disiplin tidak dapat terwujud tanpa pembiasaan yang terus menerus. Dalam e-learning berbasis tugas portofolio, siswa dapat mempraktekkan pembiasaan. Jika pembiasaan disiplin terus dilakukan melalui pengungkit portofolio, siswa akan mendapatkan penguatan karakter disiplin dan hasil belajar yang optimal. Dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi pada 42 mahasiswa mata kuliah PIPPKn, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab bagaimana penerapan e-learning berbasis tugas portofolio yang berdampak pada penguatan karakter disiplin dan hasil belajar mahasiswa? Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penugasan portofolio dapat membiasakan siswa disiplin dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Kebiasaan ini berdampak pada perolehan hasil belajar positif yang signifikan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the self-regulated strategy of early childhood teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. A quantitative survey approach was used as a method in this study. The data collection involved 100 early childhood teachers in Indonesia with a focus on the analysis of six dimensions of self-regulated strategy (1) goal setting, (2) environment structuring, (3) task strategies, (4) time management, (5) help-seeking, and (6) self-evaluation. The results of this study indicated that the level of self-regulated of early childhood teachers in a digital environment is good with an average value of 82.025%. In addition, the research findings also confirmed that the Covid-19 pandemic has not dampened the enthusiasm of early childhood teachers to adaptive in the digital learning environment. The main contribution of this study is to provide an understanding of the importance of self-regulated strategy for early childhood teachers in a digital environment. The results of this study can be useful for the Indonesian early childhood directorate as a basis for policy making and evaluating the improvement of the competence of early childhood teachers in Indonesia.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi self-regulated guru PAUD dalam pembelajaran online di masa pandemi Covid-19. Pendekatan survei kuantitatif digunakan sebagai metode dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data melibatkan 100 guru PAUD di Indonesia dengan fokus pada analisis enam dimensi strategi self-regulated, yakni (1) penetapan tujuan, (2) penataan lingkungan, (3) strategi tugas, (4) manajemen waktu, (5) bantuan, dan (6) evaluasi diri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat self-regulated guru PAUD di lingkungan digital sudah baik dengan nilai rata-rata 82,025%. Selain itu, temuan penelitian juga menegaskan bahwa pandemi Covid-19 tidak menyurutkan semangat guru PAUD untuk beradaptasi di lingkungan pembelajaran digital. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya strategi self-regulated bagi guru PAUD di lingkungan digital. Hasil penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi Direktorat PAUD Indonesia sebagai dasar pengambilan kebijakan dan evaluasi peningkatan kompetensi guru PAUD di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research focused on determining how the Padlet application could improve the eleventh-grade students' ability to write narrative text during the Ilmu Budaya dan Bahasa 2020/2021 academic year at MAN 1 Pasuruan. This application was chosen by the researcher to stimulate the students' interest and motivation in learning English. The researcher discovered that 36 (90%) of the students could achieve a passing grade. It proved improvements from the minimum standard of mastery criteria to the final test. Based on the findings of this research, it is possible to conclude that using the Padlet application can improve the ability of eleventh grade students to write narrative text.Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan aplikasi Padlet dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis naratif Kelas XI Ilmu Budaya dan Bahasa di MAN 1 Pasuruan Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 untuk mempelajari cara penggunaan aplikasi Padlet. Peneliti memilih aplikasi ini untuk siswa agar tertarik dan termotivasi belajar bahasa Inggris. Peneliti menemukan bahwa 36 (90%) siswa mampu mencapai passing grade. Hal ini merupakan peningkatan dari standar minimal kriteria ketuntasan pada ujian akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Padlet dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis naratif pada siswa kelas I.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop a literacy zone in elementary schools among students of SDN Ngenep 1 grade V with a total of 26 students. This type of research is a research development with the procedural method of Borg and Gall which consists of ten steps. This study uses data collection instruments in the form of  questionnaires, interviews and observations. The process of interpreting the collected data uses quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The study provides the results of an increase in the comfort of the learning environments of students with an average percentage increase of 15.8%.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan zona literasi di sekolah dasar pada peserta didik SDN Ngenep 1 kelas V dengan jumlah 26 peserta didik. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian pengembangan dengan metode procedural dari Borg dan Gall yang terdiri dari sepuluh langkah. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Proses penafsiran data yang terkumpul menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil adanya peningkatan kenyamanan lingkungan belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata kenaikan persentase mencapai 15,8%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a quantitative descriptive study. This study aims to test the feasibility of the module bioethanol based on  Eucheuma cottonii a basis for bioethanol including  module design validity test by expert module expert lecturers, the material validity test by expert lecturers in bioethanol, the practicality of the module by lecturers at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, legibility by 20 students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The data collection method used is the questionnaire and then analyzed on a percentage scale. The module feasibility test results show that this module is very feasible with a score of 93.18% and it can be concluded that this module is suitable for use.Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitaif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujii kelayakan modul bioethanol berbasis penelitian Eucheuma cottonii sebagai bahan dasar bioethanol meliputi uji validitas desain modul oleh ahli dosen ahli modul, uji validitas materi oleh dosen ahli dibidang bioetanol, kepraktisan modul oleh dosen di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, keterbacaan oleh 18 mahasiswa di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu kuisioner kemudian dianalisis dengan skala persentase. Hasil tes kelayakan modul menunjukkan modul ini sangat layak dengan skor 93,18% dan dapat disimpulkan modul ini layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Abstract: This research examines the effect of the STEM-EFA integrated ADI model for improving students' scientific reasoning skills. The research was conducted in class XI of SMAN 8 Malang with 27 students participating. Learning is carried out by emphasizing practical activities, doing arguments, and making simple stove prototypes. The student’s enhancement of scientific reasoning skills was measured from the results of the pretest and posttest using two-tier questions. The analysis showed that there was a significant increase with p = 0.000. These results indicate that the STEM-EFA integrated ADI model influences increasing scientific reasoning skills. The N-Gain calculation of 0.34 indicates that the category of increasing students' scientific reasoning skills is classified as moderate.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh model ADI terintegrasi STEM-EFA terhadap peningkatan kemampuan scientific reasoning skills siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas XI SMAN 8 Malang dengan jumlah partisipan 27 siswa. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menekankan pada kegiatan praktikum, argumentasi, dan pembuatan prototipe kompor sederhana. Peningkatan kemampuan scientific reasoning skills siswa diukur dari hasil pretest dan posttest menggunakan soal two-tier. Analisis menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dengan p = 0,000. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model ADI terintegrasi STEM-EFA memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan scientific reasoning skills. Perhitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,34 menunjukkan bahwa kategori peningkatan kemampuan scientific reasoning skills siswa tergolong sedang.

Abstract

Abstract: The low 21st century skills of students in learning biology, because the learning process is still teacher-centered, teachers are still dominant in applying conventional learning. Efforts that can be made to overcome these problems are by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the CTL model on the 21st Century skills of students. This research is quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were students of class X SMAN 12 Kerinci. Hypothesis test data analysis was carried out using the t-test. The results showed that the value of 21st Century skills of students in learning biology material, ecology and environmental change in the experimental class was higher than the control class. The average value of 21st Century skills of students which includes (a) Critical thinking skills in the experimental class were obtained 72.04 while the control class was obtained 61.13. (b) Communication skills in the experimental class obtained 75.90 while the control class obtained 68.06. (c) Collaboration skills in the experimental class obtained 79.81 while the control class obtained 68.79. (d) Creativity skills in the experimental class obtained 79.92 while the control class obtained 72.73. So, So, it can be concluded that applying the CTL learning model can significantly improve the 21st century skills of students.Abstrak: Rendahnya keterampilan abad 21 siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi, karena proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru, guru masih dominan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh model CTL terhadap keterampilan abad 21 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 12 Kerinci. Analisis data uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keterampilan abad 21 siswa dalam pembelajaran materi biologi, ekologi dan perubahan lingkungan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan abad 21 siswa meliputi (a) Keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh 72,04 sedangkan kelas kontrol diperoleh 61,13; (b) keterampilan komunikasi pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh 75,90, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh 68,06; (c) Keterampilan kolaborasi pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh 79,81 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh 68,79d) keterampilan kreativitas pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh 79,92 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh 72,73. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran CTL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the validity and practicality of training kit and PLC learning module as an instructional media for PLC course for students of electrical engineering education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. That was development research using Thiagarajan’s 4D models, this study only used the first three stages, not up to the disseminating stage, as the researcher only developed the training kit and module. The design of the training kit and module were developed and validated based on the look of the product, the quality of the media, and the suitability of the media for the curriculum and illustrations.  The results of validation and trial process were used to determine the feasibility level of the module that had been developed in terms of validity and practicality. Findings showed that the training kit validation was valid at 85.18%, the module validation was valid at 83.33%. Another finding depicted that students’ responses showed that both the training kit and module were practical with percentages of 85% and 82.17% respectively. So that the training kit and PLC module were feasible to be used in PLC learning process by students of Electrical Engineering Education program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan training kit dan modul pembelajaran PLC sebagai media pembelajaran mata kuliah PLC bagi mahasiswa pendidikan teknik elektro Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Yaitu penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D Thiagarajan, penelitian ini hanya menggunakan tiga tahap pertama, tidak sampai tahap diseminasi, karena peneliti hanya mengembangkan training kit dan modul. Perancangan perangkat pelatihan dan modul dikembangkan dan divalidasi berdasarkan tampilan produk, kualitas media, dan kesesuaian media untuk kurikulum dan ilustrasi. Hasil proses validasi dan uji coba digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan modul yang telah dikembangkan ditinjau dari validitas dan kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi training kit valid sebesar 85,18%, validasi modul valid sebesar 83,33%. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan siswa menunjukkan bahwa baik perangkat pelatihan maupun modul praktis dengan persentase masing-masing 85% dan 82,17%. Sehingga training kit dan modul PLC layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran PLC oleh mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Surabaya.
