Abstract

Most teachers use lecture, question and answer methods, and assignments, teachers also use certain images relating to the material the school has provided but the numbers are limited to some sub-materials. This research is a PTK consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Sources of data in this study are students of grade V SDN Karanganyar Kediri District. The results of the evaluation of student activity in inquiry learning showed improvement in each meeting. Cycle I and II there is an increase of students who get a competent predicate. The result of the 21st cycle evaluation test is 21 students, up to 27 students.Sebagian besar guru menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan pemberian tugas, guru juga menggunakan gambar-gambar tertentu berhubungan dengan materi yang telah disediakan sekolah tetapi jumlahnya terbas pada beberapa sub materi. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Karanganyar Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil evaluasi aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran inkuiri yang menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan. Siklus I dan II terjadi peningkatan siswa yang mendapat predikat kompeten. Hasil tes evalusi siklus I sebanyak 21 siswa, naik menjadi 27 siswa.

Abstract

This reseacrh was to determined the effect of guided inquiry learning based on scientific environment technology and society (SETS) to critical thinking skills based on academic ability difference. This reseacrh was included to quasy experiment with Post Test Only Design Factorial 3 x 2 design. ANOVA was used to test the hypothesis and LSD used for advance test with α = 0,05. The research showed that (1) there was a difference in  students’ critical thinking skills who took the Guided inquiry learning based on SETS, Guided inquiry learning, and conventional learning; (2) there was a difference of critical thinking skills in students with different academic ability; (3) there was no difference in students’ critical thinking skills of high academic ability who took the Guided inquiry learning based on SETS, Guided inquiry learning, and conventional learning; (4) there was a difference in students’ critical thinking skills of low academic ability who took the Guided inquiry learning based on SETS, Guided inquiry learning, and conventional learning; and (5) there was no interaction between the learning model and the academic ability to the critical thinking skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Guided inquiry berbasis salingtemas terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan kemampuan akademik berbeda. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis quasy experiment dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian Post Test Only Design Factorial 3 x 2. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji ANOVA dengan uji lanjut LSD pada a = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) ada perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa  yang mengikuti pembelajaran Guided inquiry berbasis salingtemas, Guided inquiry, dan konvensional; (2) ada perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada siswa berkemampuan akademik berbeda; (3) tidak ada perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berkemampuan akademik tinggi  yang mengikuti pembelajaran Guided inquiry berbasis salingtemas, Guided inquiry, dan konvensional; (4) ada perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berkemampuan akademik rendah yang mengikuti pembelajaran Guided inquiry berbasis salingtemas, Guided inquiry, dan konvensional; (5) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan akademik terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the validity and practicability of biology module that contained 6M concept and environmental ethics based on PjBL model. This research adapts ADDIE model. The validity of module is known from the experts’ validation score, and the practicability is known from the students’ response. The results show that the average validation score that is given by module expert is 3,832 (very valid), matter expert is 3,72 (very valid), and field practitioner is 3,24 (valid). Most of the students give positive response (≥ 70%). Based on that results, it can be concluded that the biology module which is developed is valid and practical, so it can be implemented to the 10th grade student of SMA.Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui kevalidan & kepraktisan modul biologi bermuatan konsep 6M dan etika lingkungan berbasis model PjBL. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model penelitian & pengembangan ADDIE. Kevalidan modul diketahui dari skor validasi para ahli, sedangkan kepraktisan diketahui dari respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata skor validasi ahli modul sebesar 3,832 (sangat valid), ahli materi sebesar 3,72 (sangat valid), dan praktisi lapangan sebesar 3,24 (valid). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan respons positif (≥ 70%). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul biologi yang dikembangkan tergolong valid dan praktis sehingga dapat diimplementasikan lebih lanjut kepada siswa kelas X SMA.

Abstract

The research aims are (1) to analyse the metacognition abilities of biology student for each components of metacognition, (2) analyse the metacognition abilities for each class and (3) analyse the metacognition abilities generally. The subject is 204 students. Data were collected by metacognitive awareness inventory and analyse with descriptive qualitative. The results show that student metacognition abilities included into already developed category (72,93%). The metacognition ability for each class is 2013 (75,38%), 2011 (72,93%), 2012 (72,03%) and 2010 (70,38%). Metacognition abilities for each component included already developed category (67,51%—77,55%) except the debugging strategies included into developed very good category (88,92%).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi pada setiap komponen metakognisi; (2) menganalisis kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa setiap angkatan; (3) menganalisis kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa secara keseluruhan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 204 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa sudah berkembang baik (72,93%). Rata-rata skor kemampuan metakognisi setiap angkatan adalah 2013 (75,38%), 2011 (72,93%), 2012 (72,03%) dan 2010 (70,38%). Kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa untuk setiap komponen metakognisi dikategorikan sudah berkembang baik (67,51%—77,55%), kecuali pada kemampuan debugging strategies yang dikategorikan berkembang sangat baik (88,92%).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the student’s ecoliteracy in waste managing activities on social studies trough group investigation based outdoor study. This research is Classroom Action Research toward fourth graders have been held on two cycles. The conclusion of this research is student’s ecoliteracy cognitive aspect increases is 20%, application aspect increases is 49,6%, and attitude aspect increases is 19,4% after the two cycle action with group investigation based outdoor study.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan ecoliteracy siswa dalam kegiatan pengelolaan sampah dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui group investigation berbasis outdoor study. Penelitian ini menerapkan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) terhadap siswa kelas IV SD yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya peningkatan ecoliteracy siswa dari aspek pengetahuan sebesar 20%, aspek aplikasi sebesar 49,6%, dan aspek sikap sebesar 19,4% setelah mengikuti dua siklus pembelajaran dengan group investigation berbasis outdoor study.

Abstract

Abstract: Geography as a field of study is believed to improve the ability of learners in the ability to think. The purpose of this research is to improve the critical thinking ability of learners through project based learning. The research was conduct with quasi-experimental method. The study design used nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study were students of class XI IPS 1 and IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Laut Timur. Result of research by using t test, with significant value is 0,007. This means that project based learning applied to the field of geography study can improve the critical thinking ability of learners.Abstrak: Geografi sebagai salah satu bidang studi diyakini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam berpikir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui project based learning. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian menggunakan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian ialah peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 dan IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Laut Timur. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji t, memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,007. Hal ini berati bahwa project based learning yang diterapkan pada mata pelajaran geografi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to increase learning activities and learning outcomes students at MTs Sunan Kalijogo. the research is a class action (class action research) were conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The samples were students of class VII-A second semester of academic year 2014—2015 MTs Sunan Kalijogo the number of students 25 people. The results showed that the students' learning activeness increased learning from the first cycle to the second cycle. Increased student activity occurs because of the learning by applying the model of project based learning is an active student based lesson study to work on worksheets, preparing and completing project tasks with his group. This shows that the project based learning ability increase learning activities and learning outcomes students.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa di MTs Sunan Kalijogo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri atas tiga pertemuan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014—2015 MTs Sunan Kalijogo dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Peningkatan keaktifan siswa terjadi karena dalam pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Project Based Learning berbasis Lesson Study siswa aktif untuk mengerjakan LKS, menyusun dan menyelesaikan tugas proyek bersama kelompoknya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to test the relation and to test how much contribution of single or multiple between grip strength, arm muscle power, back flexibility, and eye-hand coordination to the shooting result with drag flick technique. This research used correlational method. Population in this study is 40 men's hockey player in Central Java. Data analysis technique used goodness of fit test. The results that each variable has a positive relationship and the contribution is 17.9% grip strength, 34.6% arm muscle power, 20.5% back flexibility, hand-eye coordination 14.3% and all variable is 39,6 %.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujian untuk menguji hubungan dan kontribusi secara parsial san stimultan antara kekuatan menggenggam, power otot lengan, fleksibilitas togok, dan koordinasi mata-tangan terhadap hasil menembak dengan teknik drag flick. penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan populasi sebanyak 40 pemain hoki putra di Jawa Tengah. Teknik analisis data menggunakan goodness of fit test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masing masing variabel memiliki hubungan dan kontribusinya adalah 17,9 % untuk kekuatan menggenggam, 34.6% power otot lengan, 20.5% fleksibilitas togok, dan 14.3% koordinasi mata-tangan dan semua variabel secara bersama sebesar 39,6 %.

Abstract

This development research can produce a Critical Reading model for argumentation text learning in class X SMA/SMK. The Critical Reading Model has nine stages, reading skimming; Make inquiries; Facts and opinions; Happy alignment; Main idea development framework; Tap refill content; Prevention of spelling errors, inaccurate choice of words, ineffectiveness of sentences, and inaccuracy of paragraph development; Conclude; And verification This development research uses the Dick and Carey procedures. The validation of the products carried out on three aspects, namely (a) the feasibility of the concept of the model, (b) the feasibility of the model steps, and (c) the feasibility of the model on the level of understanding. Meanwhile, field testing was conducted to determine the feasibility and response of learners to the application of the model. Based on validation and field test results, it can be concluded that Critical Reading Model is suitable to be applied in learning to read critical argument text.Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan untuk menghasilkan model Membaca Kritis dalam pembelajaran teks argumentasi. Model Membaca Kritis memiliki sembilan tahap, yaitu (1) membaca skimming; (2) membuat pertanyaan; (3) mengidentifikasi fakta dan opini; (4) mengidentifikasi keselarasan; (5) mengidentifikasi pengembangan ide pokok; (6) mengidentifikasi ketepatan hubungan isi; (7) mengidentifikasi kesalahan ejaan, ketidaktepatan pilihan kata, dan ketidakefektifan kalimat, dan ketidaktepatan pengembangan paragraf; (8) menyimpulkan; (9) memverifikasi. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick and Carey. Validasi produk yang dilakukan meliputi tiga aspek, yakni (a) kelayakan konsep model, (b) kelayakan langkah-langkah model, dan (c) kelayakan model terhadap tingkat pemahaman. Sementara itu, uji coba produk dilakukan terhadap sembilan tahap model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji produk dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Membaca Kritis layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran membaca kritis teks argumentasi.

Abstract

Student books from the government are less contextual. Therefore, the learning module has an important role as a complement to the shortage. This study aims to produce an integrated thematic learning module based on local wisdom of Sumenep Regency on Class IV subtheme of  Lingkungan Tempat Tinggalku which has a validity and effectiveness. The development model used was Borg & Gall with little modification. The validation test result of material, linguistic and design experts was 76,3%, 92.74%, 82.80%, respectively. The field test results showed the comprehensiveness of affective, psychomotor and cognitive aspect 96.25; 90.27; 89.54, respectively. The results of module research and development in this study indicated that the module had validity and effectiveness, thus it was feasible to use.Buku siswa dari pemerintah kurang kontekstual. Oleh karena itu, modul pembelajaran memiliki peran penting sebagai pelengkap kekurangan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal Kabupaten Sumenep kelas IV subtema Lingkungan Tempat Tinggalku yang memiliki kevalidan dan keefektivan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu Borg & Gall dengan sedikit modifkasi. Hasil uji validasi ahli materi, bahasa dan desain beturut-turut 76,3%, 92,74%, dan 82,80%. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan nilai ketuntasan aspek sikap, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan berturut-turut 96,25; 90,27; 89,54. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan modul pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dihasilkan memiliki kevalidan dan keefektivan sehingga layak digunakan.
