Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the effect of work environment and organizational learning culture on organizational performance mediated by learning agility in junior high schools. A quantitative approach was used involving 155 teaching staff and administrators as respondents, using questionnaires as the main instrument. Data were analyzed through Macro Process Model 4 to measure direct, indirect, and total effects. The results showed that work environment and organizational learning culture had a significant effect on learning agility, which then mediated the relationship with organizational performance. Learning agility has a central role as a key mediator in this model, enabling organizations to better adapt to change and improve their performance. This research makes a theoretical contribution by enriching the literature related to learning agility and providing empirical evidence in the context of secondary education. In terms of practical implications, this study suggests the importance of creating a supportive work environment and a strong learning culture to improve organizational performance. The limitations of the study lie in the limited coverage of locations as well as the quantitative approach that has not fully explored the qualitative aspects. Further studies are proposed to involve a wider context and additional variables such as leadership style and technology. Keywords: Work environment, organizational learning culture, learning agility, organizational performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the influence of transparency and trust on parental participation in MTS Negeri Kecamatan Cakung, Jakarta Timur. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 120 parents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. The primary data collection tool was a structured questionnaire measuring transparency, trust, and parental participation. Descriptive analysis revealed that trust scored higher (M = 4.37, SD = 0.46) than transparency (M = 4.23, SD = 0.54) and parental participation (M = 3.89, SD = 0.61). Correlation analysis showed significant positive relationships among transparency, trust, and parental participation, with trust emerging as a stronger predictor. Regression analysis confirmed that transparency (β=0.32, β=0.32, p < 0.01) and trust (β=0.41, β=0.41, p < 0.001) significantly influence parental participation, collectively explaining 42% of the variance (R2=0.42, R2=0.42). Furthermore, trust was found to moderate the impact of transparency on parental participation. These findings highlight the need for schools to adopt integrated strategies that promote transparent communication and build trust with parents. The study provides practical implications for school leaders, policymakers, and educators to enhance parental engagement, ultimately contributing to better educational outcomes. Future research is encouraged to explore the influence of cultural, socioeconomic, and policy-related factors on school-community partnerships. Keywords: transparency, trust, parental participation, educational engagement, school-community partnerships.

Abstract

Abstract: One crucial aspect of digital leadership is the professional development of teachers through Professional Learning Community (PLC). However, literature exploring the relationship between digital leadership and PLC remains limited. This study aims to analyze research trends and developments in digital leadership and its implications for teachers' professional development using bibliometric analysis. Literature data were collected from the Scopus database for the period 2020–2024 using a Boolean Search query with keywords related to digital leadership and PLC. After filtering, 3,487 articles from various countries were selected. The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software to identify research patterns and term network mapping. The visualization results reveal four major clusters in digital leadership research: (1) school leadership and teacher professional development, (2) experimental research and mental health in education, (3) community-based learning and qualitative research, and (4) digital transformation and transformational leadership. These findings indicate that digital leadership not only supports teacher professional development but also relates to mental well-being, innovation in community-based learning, and organizational adaptation to digital transformation. This study contributes by identifying research gaps in digital leadership and PLC and providing future research directions to explore technology-driven leadership strategies to enhance teacher professional development. Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the principal's strategy in improving student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura, with the aim of understanding the implementation of discipline strategies and the supporting and inhibiting factors that exist. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive design, which collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study consisted of principals and teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. The results of the study indicate that the principal's strategy in improving discipline includes several important steps. First, the implementation of clear and integrated rules in the annual program. The principal uses the Student Rules of Conduct Book (TATIBSI) as a guide for school activities that have been recorded and standardized. TATIBSI provides direction regarding school regulations and ensures that each student understands and obeys the rules clearly. The principal provides exemplary examples, especially in terms of neatness of dress and punctuality, which are expected to be role models for students. Second, the regulations are emphasized by dividing the categories of violations from minor to serious. This division helps students understand the level of violation and its consequences better. Third, collaboration between the principal, teachers, and parents in monitoring student discipline is also an important part of this strategy. With good communication between the school and parents, student discipline can be monitored more effectively, both inside and outside the school. Fourth, the principal also applies the “5 S” culture (smile, greet, say hello, be polite, be polite) to create an environment that supports and supports the development of student discipline. This culture helps create a friendly, appreciative, and respectful atmosphere, which contributes to the creation of discipline in everyday life at school. With these strategies, the principal strives to create a more disciplined and productive environment for students. Keywords: Discipline, principal strategy, SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura

Abstract

Abstract: This research delves into the academic supervision in Ketungau Hulu sub-district, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan. The study employed descriptive methodology, encompassing interviews and questionnaires. Data was gathered from 3 out of 10 junior high schools situated in proximity to the border. 3 principals and 3 teachers were interviewed, with 25 teachers participating in the survey. Based on data analysis, 90% completion rate for resources, 77.33% for resources, below 90% for teacher guides and schedules. Principals effectively supervised academics (above 90% completion rate) and created supervision schedules (88% completion rate). Room for improvement in academic supervision tools, currently at 89.33% completion rate. Based on interviews, academic supervision varies based on teachers' readiness. Educators reduce apprehension by being familiar with supervision. Teachers adapt to technological constraints by using basic media. Teachers and principals collaborate post-supervision to address issues. Some teachers participate in MGMP activities, while financial and geographical constraints limit others. Principals' supervision planning needs enhancements for consistent oversight. Overcoming obstacles like technological limitations is crucial. Post-supervision evaluations and follow-up procedures are effectively executed. More effort is needed to ensure all teachers have training opportunities to enhance their competencies.
