Abstract

More than half a percent of fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo lack mastery of mufradāt, so that it affects the quality of language skills to be achieved. Therefore, the researcher tries to overcome this problem by applying the Tamyiz method which aims to (1) observe and report on the implementation of the Tamyiz method, (2) describe students' mastery of mufradāt, and ( 3) determine the effect of applying the Tamyiz method on the mastery of mufradāt of fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo. This type of research is experimental research designed using one group pre-test post-test. The data needed for this study were collected through participant observation, tests, closed questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation collected from Arabic teachers and fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo, totaling 25 students. The result showed that the value of sig. (2 tailed) from the pre-test and post-test data is <0.05, which is 0.000. That is, the hypothesis is accepted. In other words, there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test mean score. Thus, the mastery of students' mufradāt has increased after the implementation of the Tamyiz method. Keywords : Abaza, Arabic Learning method, Mufradāt, Tamyiz Abstrak Lebih dari setengah persen siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo kurang menguasai mufradāt, sehingga berpengaruh pada kualitas keterampilan berbahasa yang hendak dicapai. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti mencoba untuk mengatasi problematika lingusitik dan non-linguistik tersebut dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Tamyiz sebagai upaya pembentukan suasana baru bagi siswa yang bertujuan untuk (1) Mengamati dan melaporkan pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran Tamyiz, (2) Mendeskripsikan penguasaan mufradāt siswa, dan (3) Mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran Tamyiz terhadap penguasaan mufradāt siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang di desain menggunakan one group pre-test post-test. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, tes, kuisioner, dan dokumentasi kepada guru bahasa Arab dan siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai sig. (2 tailed) dari data pre-test dan post-test adalah < 0,05, yaitu sebesar 0,000. Artinya, hipotesis diterima. Dengan kata lain, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rerata pre-test dan post-test. Jadi, penguasaan mufradāt siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkannya metode Tamyiz. Abstract

Abstract: As one component of language learning, the learning method becomes a determinant of the course of an effective and efficient learning process. This requires the professionalism of teachers to be able to implement certain methods in the learning process. The purpose of this paper is to determine the application of the Grammatical Hunting language game method, to find out students' responses to the learning methods applied, and their advantages and disadvantages in learning Arabic in class 3/1 Mutawasith Khoiriyah Wittaya Mulnithi Betong, Yala, Thailand. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The sample of this research is students of class 3/1 Mutawasith Khoiriyah Wittaya Mulnithi Betong, Yala, Thailand was 25 students. The research technique applied was a non-test technique with data collection instruments in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The application of the Grammatical Hunting language game method consisted of 3 stages, namely: introduction, core activities, and closing. (2) Students show the best responses to the methods applied in the form of increased interest and activeness in learning Arabic, that is 89,77 %. (3) The advantages of this method are eliminating boredom, creating cooperation, and supportive between students, while the disadvantages of applying this method, namely the number of groups and the crowded class.

Abstract

21st-century learning requires teachers to integrate technology into learning. Therefore, teachers need to improve their professional abilities in using technology. This research was conducted to obtain the TPACK profile of prospective Arabic language teachers who are currently studying for undergraduate program at Arabic Education department of IAIN Pekalongan. Furthermore, this research is survey research. Accordingly, primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires. In addition, researchers also used observation and documentation. In general, the TPACK for prospective Arabic teachers is categorized as "good". Howevers, there are some aspects that need to be improved, namely Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge itself. In addition, each item with lower value than the total average of all aspects needs to be considered as well. In addition, the results of this analysis provide information related to the TPACK for prospective Arabic teachers that is useful as evaluation material for interested parties, such as Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) as an institution in higher education that is assigned to prepare professional teachers.

Abstract

Salah satu fungsi otak adalah sebagai mekanisme pemrosesan bahasa. Fungsi ini pula yang menyebabkan perkembangan bahasa manusia berhubungan dengan perkembangan otak. Lebih lanjut, laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki struktur otak yang berbeda. Perbedaan atau diferensiasi ini berimplikasi terhadap karakter dan pola belajar bahasa yang berbeda pula. Oleh karena itu, memperkaya dan memperluas kurikulum adalah salah satu upaya yang dapat ditempuh lembaga pendidikan untuk memaksimalkan potensi yang ada pada siswa laki-laki (siswa) dan atau siswa perempuan (siswi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sekaligus menawarkan kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis diferensiasi otak laki-laki dan perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (library research). Sehubungan dengan itu, data diperoleh dari buku, artikel jurnal, surat kabar elektronik, dan sebagainya. Lalu, data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian menemukan tujuan, materi, metode, aktifitas, media, dan penilaian pembelajaran yang dibangun berdasarkan diferensiasi otak laki-laki dan perempuan. Dengan dirancangnya kurikulum ini, peserta didik akan mendapatkan pengalaman belajar sesuai dengan karakter dan potensi yang dimilikinya. Abstract

Assessment has specific effects on learning, both positive and negative effects. In this case, assessment should encourage the implementation of better learning. This survey research aims to analyze the positive and negative effects of the mahārah istimā’ assessment using Google Forms or what is also called the washback effect. The respondents in this research were 43 PAI I FTK UIN Imam Bonjol Padang students. In this regard, data was collected through observation techniques, questionnaires, and interviews. As a primary data collection technique, the questionnaire covers three aspects: exam preparation strategies, learning attitudes, and learning materials. Then, the collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research results show that the total scores for each aspect are 37.4, 3.8, and 3.89, respectively. In other words, these aspects are included in the "excellent" category. Thus, based on these three aspects, the mahārah istimā’ assessment using Google Forms positively impacts learning. This research contributes practically to the experience of the mahārah istimā’  test using Google Forms. For future research, explore longitudinal effects, compare assessment methods, and study the sustainability of positive impacts. Also, analyze educators' perspectives and use qualitative data for deeper insights into assessment dynamics and student learning experiences, refining mahārah istimā’ assessment on digital platforms like Google Forms

Abstract

Interpretasi teks-teks keagamaan yang diyakini bias gender berimplikasi pada subordinasi dan marginalisasi perempuan dalam berbagai ranah kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, reinterpretasi mutlak diperlukan untuk memulihkan kesenjangan yang ada antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Kajian ini bertujuan memaparkan konsep dasar pendekatan mubādalah dalam perspektif Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir dan mengimplemetasikan pendekatan mubādalah dalam menginterpretasikan hadis kepemimpinan perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi literatur menggunakan teknik deskriptif-analitik. Sumber utama dari studi ini adalah buku Qirā’ah Mubādalah, sedangkan sumber sekundernya adalah karya-karya ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan kajian. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir adalah seorang mufassir feminis asal Indonesia, konsep mubādalah yang ia tawarkan melahirkan relasi ketersalingan yang adil terhadap laki-laki dan perempuan, termasuk dalam diskursus kepemimpinan perempuan, baik dalam ibadah maupun sosial-politik. Meskipun mayoritas ulama melarang perempuan menjadi pemimpin dalam shalat, namun keyakinan tersebut tidak berlaku dalam ranah sosial-politik karena berdasarkan perspektif mubādalah, kepemimpinan tidak didasarkan pada jenis kelamin, melainkan dapat diemban bagi mereka yang memiliki kapasitas dan kemampuan untuk memimpin, sehingga laki-laki dan perempuan dapat bekerjasama dalam menciptakan kemaslahatan di muka bumi.[Mubādala Approach in the Perspective of Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir on the Meaning of Women's Leadership Hadith. The interpretation of religious texts which is believed to be gender-biased has implications for the subordination and marginalization of women in various spheres of life. Therefore, reinterpretation is necessary to restore the existing gap between men and women. This study aims to explain the basic concepts of the mubādalah approach in Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir’s perspective and to implement the mubadalah approach in interpreting the hadiths of women's leadership. The method used is a literature study research using descriptive-analytic techniques. The main source of this study is the book Qirā’at Mubādala, while the secondary sources are scientific works related to studies. The results of this study indicate that Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir is a feminist exegete from Indonesia, the concept of mubadalah that he offers creates a fair relationship of alienation towards men and women, including in the discourse of women's leadership, both in worship and socio-politics. The majority of scholars prohibit women from becoming prayer leaders, but this belief does not apply in the socio-political realm because based on the perspective of mubādala, leadership is not based on gender, but can be carried out by those who have the capacity and ability to lead, so that they can work together in creating benefit on earth.]

Abstract

This experimental research was motivated by the low Arabic learning motivation in class VIII MTsN 9 Bantul which was caused by the use of monotonous learning methods. This study aims to find out students' Arabic learning motivation after the application of Grammatical Hunting language educational game method and to compare the Arabic learning motivation of the experimental class and the control class. This study used a quasi-experimental research type. The sample of this research was students of class VIII B and VIII C of MTsN 9 Bantul Yogyakarta consisting of 60 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that: 1) The student's Arabic learning motivation increased after the application of Grammatical Hunting language educational game method based on the results of the paired sample t-test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, Ha was accepted. 2) There was a significant difference in the learning motivation of the experimental class and the control class, based on the results of the independent sample t-test with a significance value of 2.042 ≥ 2.001, Ha was accepted. This method could increase students' motivation to learn Arabic. This study contributed to the use of varied learning methods, so that qawā'id learning would become an enjoyable learning.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep dasar pendekatan audio lingual, menguraikan teori-teori yang mendasarinya, menggambarkan implementasinya dalam kurikulum 2013 melalui peta konsep, dan menjelaskan implementasi pendekatan audio lingual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam kurikulum 2013 dengan cara deskriptif kualitatif di mana penulis menelusuri karya-karya ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan tema. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan audio lingual adalah pendekatan yang menekankan pada penelaahan dan pendeskripsian suatu bahasa yang akan dipelajari dengan memulainya dari sistem bunyi (fonologi), kemudian sistem pembentukan kata (morfologi), dan sistem pembentukan kalimat (sintaksis). Secara bahasa, pendekatan ini berlandaskan kepada aliran strukturalisme dari Ferdinand de Saussure yang berkeyakinan bahwa bahasa adalah ujaran. Sementara, secara psikologis, pendekatan ini diadopsi dari aliran behaviorisme yang beranggapan bahwa pembelajaran merupakan hubungan antara stimulus dan respon. Peta konsep yang dirancang menggambarkan pembahasan penyeluruh penelitian ini yang berimplikasi pada diterapkannya pendekatan audio lingual dalam enam unsur kurikulum. Unsur-unsur tersebut meliputi tujuan, materi, metode, aktivitas, media, dan penilaian pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis pendekatan audio lingual. Abstract : This paper aims to describe the basic concepts of the audio-lingual approach, to describe the underlying theories, to describe its implementation in the 2013 curriculum through a concept map, and to explain the implementation of the audio-lingual approach in learning Arabic in the 2013 curriculum and its advantages and disadvantages in a qualitative descriptive way in which the author explores the work of -Scientific works related to the theme. The results show that an audio-lingual approach is an approach that emphasizes the study and description of a language to be studied by starting with the sound system (phonology), then the word-formation system (morphology), and the sentence formation system (syntax). Linguistically, this approach is based on the structuralism school of Ferdinand de Saussure who believes that language is spoken. Meanwhile, psychologically, this approach is adopted from the flow of behaviorism which assumes that learning is a relationship between stimulus and response. The concept map designed to describe the overall discussion of this research has implications for the application of the audio-lingual approach in the six elements of the curriculum. These elements include objectives, materials, methods, activities, media, and assessment of Arabic learning based on an audio-lingual approach.

Abstract

The declining attention of both instructors and students to the calligraphic dimension of Arabic script has significantly limited learners’ ability to write accurately and efficiently. As calligraphy plays a vital role in mahārah kitābah (Arabic writing proficiency), this study investigates the effectiveness of the Ḥamidiyyah method in improving students’ Arabic writing skills. Using a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group, the research involved 46 English Education students assigned to experimental and control groups based on consistent attendance across five kitābah sessions. Data were collected through observation, interviews, writing assessments, and documentation, and analyzed using an independent sample t-test. Findings show a statistically significant improvement in the post-test scores of the experimental group, affirming the pedagogical strength of the Ḥamidiyyah method. Additionally, increased engagement and enthusiasm in class suggest that the method enhances not only structural proficiency but also learner motivation. This study supports the integration of traditional calligraphy methods into modern Arabic pedagogy and encourages further exploration of its long-term cognitive and aesthetic impacts.
