Abstract

This research is motivated by low ability of elementary students’ mathematical creative thinking. Thus this research was done by tangram.The aims of this research are 1) examining to improve student’s mathematical creative thinking and 2) examining interaction effect between student’s prior mathematics ability toward student’s mathematical creative thinking by tangram. The research utilized a quasi experimental  with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instruments comprised of mathematical creative thinking test. The quantitative analysis is used a two-way ANOVA. The result  of quantitative analysis shows better increasing mathematical creative thinking ability by tangram than by conventional teaching in fifth grade of SDN Pamulang 01 South Tangerang. Futhermore, there was no interaction effect between student’s prior mathematics ability toward student’s mathematical creative thinking. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa sekolah dasar, sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan media tangram dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mengkaji peningkatan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa di kelas yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan penggunaan media tangram lebih baik daripada siswa di kelas yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa. 2) Mengkaji pengaruh interaksi antara penggunaan media tangram dengan Kemampuan Awal Matematis (KAM) siswa terhadap peningkatan berpikir kreatif matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif dengan Quasi Experimental dan desain dalam penelitian ini Nonequivalent Control Group Design.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan penggunaan media tangram terhadap berpikir kreatif matematis siswa di kelas V SDN Pamulang 01 Tangerang Selatan. Hal ini terbukti dari perhitungan menunjukkan hasil uji ANOVA dua jalur nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 kurang dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Hasil penelitian ini semoga bermanfaat kepada pihak-pihak yang terkait.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop E-Comic-based mathematics teaching materials on the topic of multiplication and division with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. This research is a research and development using the Hannafin and Peck development model. This model consists of three stages, namely needs assessment, design, development and implementation. The subjects in this study were students of class 3A SDN Pinang 2 Tangerang City. The results research obtained included 1) material expert validation got 95,38% with very valid criteria, 2) linguist validation got 87,5% with very valid criteria, 3) media expert validation got 97,5% with very valid criteria. Assessment of student responses 1) small group test got 95,41% with high criteria, 2) large group test got 99% with high criteria. Based on the results of the assessment, the E-Comic-based mathematics teaching materials developed are valid and can be used as additional teaching material for teaching the concept of multiplication and division.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis E-Comic pada topik perkalian dan pembagian dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Hannafin dan Peck. Model ini terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu penilaian kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan dan implementasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 3A SDN Pinang 2 Kota Tangerang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan antara lain 1) validasi ahli materi mendapatkan 95,38% dengan kriteria sangat valid, 2) validasi ahli bahasa mendapatkan 87,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid, 3) validasi ahli media mendapatkan 97,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Penilaian respon peserta didik 1) uji kelompok kecil mendapatkan 95,41% dengan kriteria tinggi, 2) uji coba kelompok besar, mendapatkan 99% dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut maka bahan ajar matematika berbasis E-Comic yang dikembangkan valid dan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar tambahan untuk pengajaran konsep perkalian dan pembagian.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' geometrical thinking skills through the media of Augmented Reality learning. Augmented Reality learning media is a learning medium that combines a real object with a virtual object that has a 3-dimensional (3D) shape and is designed to resemble the actual environment that aims to provide any information to its users with an interesting, interactive, and real-time delivery. This study is a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental study with the design used by researchers, namely the nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were 202 students of class V SDN Cireundeu 01. The sample of this research was 52 students consisting of 26 experimental class students and 26 control class students who were determined through a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was in the form of a geometric thinking ability test. Data analysis of students' geometry thinking skills was done by t-test using SPSS 16. The results of the analysis showed that the thinking ability of students in geometry taught using Augmented Reality learning media was higher than students who were taught using concrete media. Therefore the results of this study indicate that mathematics learning by using Augmented Reality learning media has a significant role in increasing students' geometrical thinking abilities

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam bidang pendidikan sudah bukan hal yang baru dan yang harus dihadapi dan dikusai oleh guru. Terlebih dalam mengahadapi era society 5.0 dimana bertujuan bertujuan menciptakan masyarakat dimana dapat menyelesaikan berbagai tantangan sosial dengan memasukkan inovasi revolusi industri 4.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis situasi di lingkungan tersebut bahwa sebanyak seluruh guru yang mengisi kuosioner di KB dan TK Labschool menyatakan bahwa sangat penting penggunaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran dan terdapat 12,5% merasa bahwa kemampuan dalam pengguanaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dalam kategori baik. Akan tetapi, penilaian tersebut hanyalah dalam penggunaan, sedangkan kemampuan guru dalam menciptakan masih dalam kategori terbatas, sehingga sebanyak 87,5% membutuhkan pelatihan terkait pembuatan multimedia interaktif. Oleh sebab itu, berdasarkan analisa situasi dengan mitra, diperlukanlah solusi dalam mengatasi kebutuhan guru di KB dan TK Labschool, sehingga tujuan dari kegiatan ini memberikan bekal kepada guru-guru KB dan TK Labschool memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangan aplikasi multimedia interaktif. Lebih lanjut, kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan implementasi dari penelitian yang sedang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa deluruh aspek bernilai 100% dan guru-guru tertarik dalam mengembangkan multimedia interkatif.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan senyawa berupa limbah yang mengandung karsinogenik dengan bilangan asam dan peroksida yang tinggi. Masyarakat kelurahan Bintaro sering membuang minyak jelantah ke aliran air yang berdampak pada lingkungan sekitar. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan penanggulangan pembuangan minyak jelantah menjadi produk nilai ekomonis. Kegiatan ini bekerja sama dengan mitra karang taruna kelurahan Bintaro. Terdapat 4 metode pelaksanaan kegiatan, yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampinga, evaluasi, dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun cuci pakaian, serta terdapat tim keberlanjutan program. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah dalam pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah perlunya peran masyarakat setempat sehingga masalah pencemaran lingkungan dapat diatasi secara bersama-sama.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya mempelajari geometri yang membutuhkan kemampuan spasial. Akan tetapi berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya kemampuan spasial siswa masih rendah dalam belajar geometri. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat oleh guru dan belum memanfaatkan media pembelajaran teknologi secara maksimal. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan spasial antara siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan Math City Maps dengan yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan jenis metode yang digunakan adalah dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest-control group design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan spasial siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan yang menunjukkan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat dampak model contextual teaching and learning berbantuan Math City Maps terhadap kemampuan spasial siswa.   ABSTRAK This research is motivated by the importance of studying geometry, which requires spatial abilities. However, previous studies have shown that students' spatial abilities in geometry are still low. This is due to teachers' lack of appropriate teaching models and the insufficient utilization of technological learning media. The primary objective of this study is to determine the difference in spatial abilities between students who received the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by Math City Maps and those who received conventional learning. The research method used in this study is quantitative, with a quasi-experimental method. The design employed is a pretest-posttest control group design. The study results indicate a significant improvement in students' spatial abilities. This is evident from the calculation results, where the t-test results show a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by Math City Maps has an impact on students' spatial abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the level of understanding and readiness of the academic community of the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. The research method used is quantitative derivative, the object of research/respondents who are sampled are lecturers, students, and education personnel. Data retrieval technique by filling out questionnaires through SpadaDikti survey link. The results of the analysis of questionnaire data are interpreted in the form of percentages of each answer given by respondents. The results of this research can be a reference material for further research, in the implementation of the MBKM Program implemented at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta, so that it is expected to improve and improve the performance of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.

Abstract

This study is to develop a learning media whole package that includes material to two-dimensional figures with Palembang-based culture. This research uses research and development (R&D). The subjects in this study were students of class II, III, IV SD Negeri 3 Margo Bhakti. Analysis of the data used is qualitative descriptive with a percentage. Development of instructional media scrapbook Palembang culture based on topics two-dimensional figure with phase ADDIE. The results showed that the assessment included 1) validation of material experts got 71.61% with valid criteria, 2) validation of linguists got 87.5% with very valid criteria, 3) validation of media experts got 88.57% with very valid criteria. Assessing students' responses 1) small group trials get an average of 11.16 with high criteria, 2) large group trials get an average of 11.06 with high criteria. Based on the above assessment, the learning media scrapbook Palembang culture-based on the topic of the two-dimensional figure is valid or appropriate to use as a medium of learning mathematics on the topic of a two-dimensional figures.

Abstract

The conceptual understanding of comparative mathematics remains a significant challenge in elementary education, as students rely heavily on formulaic approaches rather than developing deeper comprehension. This condition highlights the importance of the role of teachers in assisting with learning methods such as scaffolding. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of the scaffolding method in improving students' cognitive aspects. Scaffolding can help students improve mathematics learning outcomes and mathematical problem-solving skills and improve the cognitive aspect applied to grade V students in one of the state elementary schools in the Pondok Kacang area. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation with data sources of a teacher and 3 grade V students in one of the State Elementary Schools in the Pondok Kacang area. The results of the study on the application of the scaffolding method to improving cognitive aspects in students in the context of learning mathematics ratio materials show that the application of the scaffolding method is efficient and effective; this can be seen from the improvement of students' cognitive aspects through assisting children in the early stages of their development, applying a multi-level approach, and efforts to follow the characteristics of scaffolding when there is an argument between students and teachers. The scaffolding method improves students' cognitive aspects by using motivational strategies and associating students' interests with learning assignments. Therefore, the scaffolding method plays a role in developing students' cognitive skills, especially in mathematics

Abstract

The current mathematics learning process has not fully succeeded in incorporating project-based modules. The Independent Curriculum emphasizes the use of Project-Based Learning (PjBL), where students engage in real-world projects to solve problems or answer specific questions. This approach aims to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity among students. This study focuses on implementing a project-based statistical spatial module tailored for elementary school students. The research utilized qualitative methods, involving a population of 15 fifth-grade students from an Islamic Elementary School in South Jakarta. Data collection techniques included observation and testing. The application of PjBL made mathematics learning more engaging and meaningful. The projects designed not only enhanced students' curiosity but also provided opportunities to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. Through this approach, students not only gain mathematical knowledge but also cultivate essential skills for their present and future lives.
