Abstract

This research explores the relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination in Class Self-concept, as an individual's view of themselves, can also influence the level of academic procrastination experienced. This research involved 118 students as respondents, chosen randomly from a total of 170 students. The data collection method uses a questionnaire, with data analysis using the Pearson test. The analysis results show a significant relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination, with a correlation coefficient of 0.343. This value shows a positive correlation between the two variables, indicating that there is a unidirectional relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination. The findings of this research contribute to the understanding of the factors that influence academic procrastination in class X Accounting students. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for developing interventions aimed at reducing the level of academic procrastination among students. Future research is expected to deepen understanding of this relationship and identify more effective strategies for overcoming academic procrastination in students. In conclusion, this research confirms the existence of a relationship between self-concept and academic procrastination in Class X Accounting students at SMK 01 Diponegoro. Thus, related parties need to pay attention to self-concept factors in efforts to prevent and handle academic procrastination in the educational environment._____________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara konsep diri dan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa Kelas X Akuntansi di SMK 01 Diponegoro. Prokrastinasi akademik, yang merupakan kecenderungan untuk menunda pekerjaan akademik, dapat menghambat kemajuan siswa dalam mencapai tujuan akademik mereka. Konsep diri, sebagai pandangan individu terhadap diri mereka sendiri, juga dapat mempengaruhi tingkat prokrastinasi akademik yang dialami. Penelitian ini melibatkan 118 siswa sebagai responden, dipilih secara acak sederhana dari total 170 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner atau angket, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara konsep diri dan prokrastinasi akademik, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.343. Nilai ini menunjukkan korelasi positif antara kedua variabel, menunjukkan adanya hubungan searah antara konsep diri dan prokrastinasi akademik.Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang faktor- faktor yang memengaruhi prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa kelas X Akuntansi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan intervensi yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi tingkat prokrastinasi akademik di kalangan siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat memperdalam pemahaman tentang hubungan ini dan mengidentifikasi strategi yang lebih efektif dalam mengatasi prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menegaskan adanya hubungan antara konsep diri dan prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa Kelas X Akuntansi di SMK 01 Diponegoro. Dengan demikian, penting bagi pihak terkait untuk memperhatikan faktor konsep diri dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan prokrastinasi akademik di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reduction of academic burnout through role-playing techniques among students at SMPN 02 Silo. This research is a counseling guidance action research. The subjects of the study were all seventh-grade students at SMPN 02 Silo, totaling 177 students, with 6 students selected through purposive sampling as the sample. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires. The results showed that 84% successfully exceeded the success indicators, with the sample experiencing a significant decrease in academic burnout. These findings indicate that group counseling services using role-playing techniques can effectively reduce academic burnout among students at SMPN 02 Silo. This study recommends that similar programs be implemented in other schools to test the generalizability of the findings and to explore other factors that may influence student academic burnout, such as social support and environmental influences. Thus, it can be concluded that group counseling with role-playing techniques can reduce students’ academic burnout.

Abstract

Academic procrastination, which is often defined as delaying work on assignments, it is believed that every students has exposure that feeling. This study used qualitative research whose participants were class XI vocational school students whose opinions became the basis for this research. The criteria for research participants used purposive sampling (Jupp, 2006) and for participant recruitment, researchers followed the ethical procedures recommended by Hammersley & Traianou, (2012). Besides that, this research uses narrative studies (Connelly & Clandinin, 1990), stories as a data source, and interviews (Barkhuizen et al., 2014) to collect data and in the process use thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2008). To test the level of trust, researcher use the theory of peer debriefing (Janesick, 2015) and member checking (Lincoln & Guba, 1985). As a results, there are several things, both intrinsic and extrinsic, that influence a person to carry out procrastination behavior. Regarding gender, this behavior has no predisposition, everyone can do this behavior. Abstract

Someone with high self-confidence tends to believe they can find answers to the obstacles they face. On the other hand, individuals with low self-confidence will feel that they cannot solve the problems they face. Based on the phenomenon found at SMPN 02 Silo school, some students have low levels of self-confidence, including being nervous when meeting new people, shy when asked questions, and not daring to express opinions. With this phenomenon, the research aims to increase students' self-confidence. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a PTBK design. The respondents studied were 28 students, with 6 students selected using purposive sampling as samples. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire. From the results of observations of the service action process, it was discovered that the level of student self-confidence increased in each research cycle, in cycle I it reached a percentage of 66% of the sample in the medium category (81-120), then in the second cycle the percentage of students had reached 83% of the sample in the high category (121-160), so it can be said that providing guidance services for the reframing technique group was able to increase the self-confidence of class VIII B students at SMPN 02 Silo. __________________________________________________________________Seseorang dengan Self-confidence tinggi cenderung yakin bahwa mereka mampu untuk mencari jawaban atas kendala yang mereka hadapi. Sebaliknya, seseorang dengan Self-confidence rendah sering merasa tidak mampu untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan fenomena yang ditemukan di sekolah SMPN 02 Silo bahwa sebagian siswa memiliki tingkat Self-confidence yang rendah diantaranya gugup ketika bertemu orang baru, malu ketika ditanya, serta tidak berani mengungkapkan pendapat. Dengan adanya fenomena tersebut maka tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan Self-confidence siswa. Metode penelitian menggunaakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain PTBK. Responden yang diteliti berjumlah 28 siswa, dengan 6 siswa dipilih secara purposive sampling sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Pada hasil pengamatan proses tindakan layanan diketahui bahwa tingkat Self-confidence siswa meningkat pada tiap siklus penelitian, pada siklus I mencapai persentase 66% sampel dalam kategori sedang (81-120), kemudian pada siklus ke II persentase siswa telah mencapai 83% sampel dalam kategori tinggi (121-160), Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik reframing mampu meningkatkan Self-confidence siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 02 Silo.

Abstract

Someone who has high self-confidence tends to believe that they can find answers to the obstacles they face. On the other hand, individuals with low self-confidence will feel that they cannot solve the problems they face. Based on preliminary studies, it was found that students' self-confidence tends to be low, which requires assistance so that students can become more resilient in the academic process. The modeling method is used in group guidance services provided as part of mentoring. This research aims to determine the increase in self-confidence through student modeling techniques at SMPN 02 Silo. Qualitative research design with PTBK research type. The respondents studied were 36 students, with 6 students selected using purposive sampling as the sample. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire. The research results showed that more than 75% of the sample experienced increased academic resilience. These findings indicate that the modeling technique of group guidance services can increase self-confidence. Future researchers are expected to truly understand the guidance of modeling technique groups for research success. ___________________________________________________________________Seseorang dengan self-confidence tinggi cenderung meyakini bahwa mereka mampu untuk mencari jawaban atas kendala yang mereka hadapi. Sebaliknya, seseorang dengan  self-confidence rendah akan merasa bahwa mereka tidak mampu untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, ditemukan bahwa self-confidence siswa cenderung rendah, sehingga mereka memerlukan dukungan untuk menjadi lebih tangguh dalam menjalani proses akademik. Metode modeling diterapkan dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok sebagai bagian dari pendampingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan self-confidence melalui teknik modeling siswa di SMPN 02 Silo. Desain penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian PTBK. Responden yang diteliti berjumlah 36 siswa, dengan 6 siswa dipilih secara purposive sampling sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa lebih dari 75% sampel mengalami peningkatan resiliensi akademik. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik modeling dapat meningkatkan self-confidence. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan benar memahami terkait bimbingan kelompok teknik modelling untuk keberhasilan penelitian.

Abstract

Di kelas XI Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Paleran, terungkap bahwa 6 dari 29 siswa membolos. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, diketahui bahwa teknik behavior contract belum diterapkan. Teknik ini merupakan kesepakatan antara konselor dan konseli untuk mengubah perilaku tertentu, seperti kurang semangat belajar, tidak percaya diri, tidak menyukai pelajaran, sulit konsentrasi, sering meninggalkan kelas, gangguan tidur, kurang perhatian keluarga, tidak senang dengan guru, ikut-ikutan teman, dan hambatan ekonomi. Menurut Mustaqim dan Wahib, ciri siswa yang sering membolos antara lain sering absen, tidak memperhatikan guru, berperilaku berlebihan, meninggalkan kelas sebelum selesai, tidak berminat belajar, tidak punya cita-cita, dan tidak mengerjakan tugas. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen untuk mengetahui hubungan sebab-akibat melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pre-test, pemberian layanan, dan post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket langsung dengan 55 item dan 4 pilihan jawaban untuk mengungkap pengaruh konseling kelompok teknik behavior contract terhadap perilaku membolos siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah memberikan pemahaman mendalam dan melatih keterampailan IGTK Ma’arif Jember dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menggunakan metode cerita boneka sebagai upaya untuk mencegah kekerasan seksual di sekolah. Metode Pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu survey, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Melalui pelatihan seks education dengan menggunakan metode cerita boneka, diharapkan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan IGTK Ma’arif Jember ketika memberikan materi seks education pada siswa di sekolahnya masing-masing. Pelatihan seks education ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan konseptual, melainkan juga menekankan pada aplikasi praktis. Melalui pemberian materi pendidikan seks anak usia dini, materi metode cerita boneka dan praktik, peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk menerapkan konsep pendidkan seks anak usia dini sebagai upaya mencegah kekerasan sesksual di lingkungan sekolah. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan seks education dapat meningkatkan pemahaman IGTK Ma’arif Jember tentang pentingnya pendidikan seks sejak dini, memiliki kemampuan teknik bercerita dengan boneka untuk menyampaikan pesan konsep seksualitas prasekolah yang sesuai, IGTK Ma’arif Jember dapat menerapkan metode cerita boneka di sekolahnya masing-masing.

Abstract

Learning is a process of behavior change. In the process prone to saturation. This happened to students in class XI Science 3 SMA Negeri 3 Jember still experiencing high learning saturation. This is obtained from the results of interviews and questionnaires. Many things can cause learning saturation, one of which is boredom that occurs over a long period of time and with a fairly high intensity, which is characterized by physical, mental, and emotional fatigue, as well as low self-esteem, which causes a person to feel distant from his environment. This study aims to reduce student learning saturation using individual counseling services. The type of research used is experimental design. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with a sample method in the form of purposive sampling. After individual counseling services with the SFBC approach with the call question technique on besline 2 decreased. The results of the study on besline I showed a score of 153, which was included in the high category, with a range of 136-180, while after the service was provided on besline 2 the score was medium, with a range of 91-130, or low, with a range of 45-90 Keywords: Burnout learning;Individual Counseling;SFBC

Abstract

Discipline is the main key to success in success. Disciplined students will certainly achieve success in learning. However, the facts that occurred in the field or more precisely at Diponegoro Wuluhan Junior High School, showed that there were 7 students who were not disciplined in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between discipline and student learning outcomes. This study used a correlational type quantitative approach. With respondents 120 grade VII students out of 65 students taken overall using saturated samples. The data collection method used in this study is the questionnaire method. Analyze the data using the coefficient formula by finding r Product Moment. The results showed that the calculated r value was 0.979 and the rtable value was 0.979 with the number N 65, which showed that the two variables correlated with a strong degree of relationship with the correlation form y. Thus the conclusion was obtained: There is a relationship between student learning discipline and student learning outcomes at SMP Diponegoro Wuluhan Keywords: Disciplines Learning; Result Learning

Abstract

Choosing the level of education after completing junior high school is a crucial decision for grade IX students that will affect their future. However, many students feel confused or unsure. According to what happened at MTS Bustanul Ulum Panti, it shows that there are 5 students who have not been able to determine their further studies. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of group guidance on the selection of further studies. This study uses a quantitative approach to the One Group Pretest Posttest experimental study. The results showed that the average score before the intervention was 71.00, while the average score after the intervention was 96.00. The significance result (two-sided) yields a value of 0.000. If the calculated t-value exceeds the t-value of the table or the significance value is below 0.05, then an alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which indicates an influence. On the other hand, if the calculated t-value is less than the t-value of the table or the significance value is greater than 0.05, then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and has no effect. The null hypothesis was rejected because the significance value (two-sided) was less than 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference in the mean results before and after.
