Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong peralihan penggunaan dokumen konvensional menuju dokumen elektronik yang menuntut jaminan keabsahan dan keamanan. Salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan adalah tanda tangan digital, namun tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaannya di lingkungan pendidikan menengah masih relatif terbatas. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru, tenaga kependidikan, serta siswa di SMK Nurul Amalia Tanjung Morawa dalam memanfaatkan tanda tangan digital sebagai solusi keabsahan dokumen elektronik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, serta evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pemaparan materi secara interaktif, diskusi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan serta validasi tanda tangan digital sederhana. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui observasi dan diskusi, serta secara praktik dengan menilai kemampuan peserta dalam membuat dan memvalidasi tanda tangan digital pada dokumen elektronik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep dan fungsi tanda tangan digital. Sebagian besar peserta mampu membuat tanda tangan digital sederhana dan melakukan proses validasi keabsahan dokumen elektronik sesuai panduan yang diberikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosialisasi yang dipadukan dengan praktik langsung efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital peserta. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mendukung pemanfaatan dokumen elektronik yang lebih aman dan terpercaya di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Academic repositories serve as centralized platforms for storing and managing scientific documents, including research papers, reports, and administrative records. Yet, traditional keyword-based search systems often struggle to deliver relevant results. These systems typically fail to capture the contextual meaning of user queries, which leads to mismatches when the query terms differ from those found in the documents. To overcome this limitation, this study introduces a semantic search approach for academic repositories by combining Sentence-BERT as the text embedding model with FAISS as the vector-based similarity search engine. In the proposed system, documents stored in a MySQL database are first preprocessed to remove HTML tags, then converted into semantic vector representations using Sentence-BERT. These vectors are indexed with FAISS, enabling fast and efficient similarity searches compared to conventional keyword matching. The system architecture integrates FastAPI as the backend service for indexing, searching, and evaluation, while CodeIgniter 4 functions as the frontend framework for document management by administrators and end users. Evaluation was carried out using three test sets, each containing ten queries. Performance was measured using Recall@K, normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain (nDCG), Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR), Mean Average Precision (MAP), and search latency. Experimental results show that the system achieved an average Recall@K of 0.61, a MAP of 0.39, and a No-Hit rate of 0.033, meaning all queries successfully retrieved results. Although the nDCG value declined in the third test set, the system consistently returned relevant documents.

Abstract

Mr.Boba is a company that sells various variants of drinks such as durian juice, boba and so on. The sales process is still done manually or handwritten and payment transactions can also only be done in cash. One of the obstacles that employees have faced is that customers want to pay non-cash but do not provide qris and the like. When employees process reports every time the store closes, it takes quite a long time. With this web-based point of sales system, it really helps employees to be faster and more efficient in their work. This system was built with the RAD method which is structured from requirement planning, workshop design and implementation and the framework used is the Laravel framework. Testing on this system shows good results with the blackbox testing method. The results of this study aim to facilitate employees to record both cash and non-cash transactions and computerized reports to umkm owners. Abstract

Teachers are the initial milestone in the creation of a nation with quality young generation, both in the academic and non-academic fields. To determine or choose the best teacher, a decision support system for selecting the best teacher is made to appreciate the work performance that has been done while being a teaching staff, and is expected to increase motivation so that teachers can improve their performance. For this reason, a decision support system is needed that can analyze several teachers according to the existing teacher selection profile. The Profile Matching process is carried out to determine teacher recommendations in the Best Teacher Selection System based on 3 variables, namely intellectual aspects, work attitude aspects and general aspects. The result of the selection process is in the form of a teacher's final score as a recommendation for decision makers to choose the right teacher in the selection of the best teacher.

Abstract

Efforts to strengthen school discipline can be done in various ways. For example, at the middle school level, points for violations committed by students are calculated based on the rules set by the school. The number of fault points counted varies from warning to calling the parent at the highest level, and notifying the maximum number of fault points to the parent. SMA Muhammadiyah 7 serbelawan has issued a code of conduct. The school will apply penalty points for all infractions committed by students in an attempt to enforce disciplinary action. To improve teacher performance in dealing with problem students, the authors designed a system for calculating student violation points using the oriented objects technology method. By using the object oriented technology method, it will build a system systematically and regularly in order to achieve a goal based on the abstraction of existing objects and the presence of this system will certainly greatly help teacher performance, especially counseling guidance teachers and counseling guidance teachers, problems in recapitulating all student violations that occur in Muhammadiyah 7 Serbelawan High School. With a system that has been computerized and integrated with databases, it will be able to facilitate the process of finding student data that violates and conducting counseling easily and documents are stored neatly in the database.

Abstract

Digital marketing is one method used by business actors to introduce their products and services to the public. Apart from that, digital marketing can also be used as a transaction medium between sellers and buyers. With digital marketing, product marketing reach can be wider and reach more people. Customer and marketing costs can be reduced and made more efficient. Village Stalls is one of the service team's proposals to help business actors market  their products. In order to further promote the website, it is necessary to introduce business actors regarding the use of the website. Furthermore, the team also helps entrepreneurs or administrators with registration and provides an introduction to the features they have. From this activity, it is hoped that the marketing of business actors' products will be broader and can help increase the level of income of the people in the village.
