Abstract

In its development, many new concrete modifications were found, such as lightweight concrete, fiber concrete, polymer concrete, high-strength concrete and ultra-high-strength concrete. Epoxy resin can accelerate the hardening process of concrete because epoxy itself generates heat so that it helps accelerate hardening. In previous studies, the addition of areca nut shell fiber and 0.8% epoxy resin can increase the split tensile strength of concrete. Based on the description above, it is necessary to conduct research on the split tensile strength of concrete that combines a mixture of pineapple leaf fiber and epoxy resin. So this research uses pineapple leaf fiber and epoxy resin. Pineapple leaf fiber and epoxy resin are expected to be strength-enhancing materials that can produce concrete with more optimal split tensile strength.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of epoxy resin and the percentage variation of pineapple leaf fiber on the split tensile strength of concrete and its comparison with normal concrete and to determine the percentage level of the addition of the most optimum pineapple leaf fiber to produce the maximum concrete split tensile strength test value among the planned variations. The method used in this research is experimental. From the results of the average split tensile strength test at 28 days, the epoxy resin variation of 0.8% achieved a strength of 2.87 MPa, the 0.15% variation achieved 2.37 MPa, and the 0.5% variation achieved 2.47 MPa

Abstract

ABSTRACT In general, traffic accidents that occur are caused by several factors, such as human negligence, vehicle feasibility factors, and surrounding road conditions. Accidents that often occur on the Palembang - Betung road section are caused by damaged roads, human factors, vehicle condition factors, weather conditions, and traffic signs that do not exist or are not feasible, this road section serves heavy and light traffic such as Trucks, buses, and other types of four-wheeled vehicles as well as two-wheelers for short distance transportation. In general, the road is a path used by the community to go from one place to another. However, over time, things that often happen on highways, one of which is traffic accidents that result in a problem that requires serious handling considering the impact of enormous losses on the human factor, and injuries to death can occur, as well as losses from in terms of material. Based on the accident data on the Palembang - Betung Polrestabes Banyuasin road section in the last 5 years there were 535 accidents with losses reaching Rp. 4,021,150,000,. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct road traffic safety audit research (Case study: Jalan Palembang – Betung) in the hope of producing a road safety audit to collect data on the operational stage of the road and proper handling so as to prevent or reduce the possibility of traffic accidents.  Keywords : Road, Safety Work, Traffic     ABSTRAK Secara umum kecelakaan lalu lintas yang terjadi disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti kelalaian manusia, faktor kelayakan kendaraan, dan kondisi jalan sekitar. Kecelakaan yang sering banyak terjadi pada Ruas jalan Palembang – Betung yang disebabkan oleh jalan yang rusak, faktor manusia, faktor kondisi kendaraan, faktor kondisi cuaca, dan rambu lalu lintas yang tidak ada atau tidak layak, ruas jalan ini melayani lalu lintas berat dan ringan seperti Truk, bus, dan jenis kendaraan roda empat lainya serta roda dua untuk angkutan jarak dekat. Pada Umumnya jalan merupakan suatu jalur yang digunakan masyarakat untuk menuju ke satu tempat ke tempat lain. Namun seiring waktu hal yang sering terjadi pada jalan raya salah satunya salah satunya ialah kecelakaan beralalu lintas yang mengakibatkan suatu masalah yang membutuhkan penanganan serius mengingat berdampak terjadinya kerugian yang sangat besar pada faktor manusia,dan bisa terjadi jatuhnya korban luka hingga meninggal dunia,serta kerugian dari segi materi.Berdasarkan Data kecelakaan pada ruas jalan Palembang - Betung Polrestabes Banyuasin dalam 5 tahun terakhir terjadi 535 dengan kerugian mencapai Rp. 4.021.150.000, Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan Penelitian Audit keselamatan lalu lintas jalan (Studi kasus: Ruas jalan Palembang – Betung) dengan harapan menghasilkan Audit keselamatan jalan untuk melakukan pengumpulan data tahap operasional jalan dan penanganan yang tepat sehingga bisa mencegah maupun mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas. Abstract

Beton secara umum terbuat dari campuran semen, air dan agregat dimana bahan tersebut mudah untuk didapatkan. Namun, cepat atau lambat bahan – bahan tersebut akan semakin habis yang menyebabkan bahan tersebut semakin mahal dari tahun ke tahun. Seperti agregat yang hampir 75% menjadi bahan pengisi utama dalam beton. Dalam hal ini beton bisa diperoleh dengan mendaur ulang limbah konstruksi, sehingga dapat mengurangi penyimpanan dan pembuangan limbah konstruksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan memakai metode eksperimental agar diketahui pengaruh dari batu bata press pada campuran beton dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kuat tekan beton terhadap batu bata press sebagai substitusi agregat kasar sebesar 5% dan 10%. Dari hasil yang didapat kuat tekan dari beton melalui penambahan batu bata press 5% dan 10% memiliki peningkatan yaitu pada umur 7 hari 11,53 Mpa dan 12,02 Mpa, pada umur 14 hari 13,55 Mpa dan 13,17 Mpa, serta pada umur 28 hari 14,51 Mpa dan 13,46 Mpa. Kesimpulan yang didapat yaitu pengaruh batu bata press jika penambahan persentase semakin tinggi maka nilai kuat tekan dari beton akan menurun. Hasil optimum ketika umur 28 hari 14,51 Mpa serta 13,46 Mpa tidak mencapai nilai kuat tekan 16 Mpa seperti yang direncanakan, tetapi beton tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai beton struktur ringan.

Abstract

Palembang City's routine problems in dealing with flooding are quite extensive and long, one of which occurs in the Bendung Watershed (DAS). Flooding in the Bendung watershed area is influenced by several things, including natural factors such as the characteristics of the river which has a small river flow capacity, the ebb and flow of sea water in the river and the relatively flat topographic conditions so that some areas of the Bendung watershed are floodplains. The purpose of this study is to measure the height or inundation of floods and the length of time of flood inundation in flood-prone areas in residential areas along the Bendung watershed area, identify risk elements and assess the risks experienced by residents around the Bendung River due to the influence of flooding or flood inundation with the condition of the residents' vulnerability. The method used in this research is direct observation (questionnaire) about infrastructure losses in vulnerable residential areas (easily affected by flooding) in Palembang City. The results of this study obtained an average flood event of 37.5 times. The risk value experienced by residents in the Bendung watershed area occurs every year, with a probability value of 0.930. For the largest risk value in the land elevation area 0-5 m or on the banks of the Bendung River is 63.24 with a depth of 50 cm and the number of submerged houses reaches almost 68 houses. In the 5-10 m land elevation area is 79.98 with a depth of 20 cm and the number of submerged houses is almost 86 houses.

Abstract

The development of this road network needs to be done in order to know the effect of the road network in an area or a city that needs road network development or handling, both in the long, short and medium term. Network development can support growth in South OKU Regency by analyzing the level of accessibility of the road network to the influence of inter-regional connectivity, the influence of road conditions, and development alternatives in the context of road network development. This study aims to evaluate the accessibility of the road network in South OKU Regency, analyze the need for road network development based on the potential of natural resources and regional spatial plans (RT / RW) and accessibility outside the region. The method used is the FPCI (Fuzzy Pavement Conditions Index) Method. The result of this research is the analysis stated that the network development of some high potential areas and integrated tourism development areas of Lake Ranau still have low accessibility value so that road network development action is needed in the form of repair, widening and or adding road sections. High potential areas that have low accessibility ratings include Muaradua Kisam Subdistrict, Beringin Island Subdistrict, Buay Pemaca Subdistrict and Banding Agung Subdistrict and for accessibility out of the area on several roads in damaged condition so as to slow down the speed of the road.

Abstract

The use of asphalt concrete (Laston) as a pavement construction material continues to increase, especially in Indonesia. Laston, which is made as a hot mix, requires filler to bind the aggregate particles. Conventional fillers such as stone ash, lime, and cement have limited supplies and high costs, so a more economical and easily available alternative is needed. This research aims to evaluate the use of coir ash as filler in a 60/70 penetration asphalt mixture and determine the optimum asphalt content (KAO) in the mixture. The test specimens were made using 4%, 4.5%, and 5% variations of coconut fiber ash (ASK) content in 6% asphalt. This research was conducted experimentally using the Marshall Test method. The results showed that the use of coir ash as filler can affect the mechanical properties of asphalt mixture. At 4% ASK content, the VIM value reached 6.939%, and the largest or closest VFA value was obtained at 5% ASK content of 44.838%. The results obtained were greater than the Bina Marga 2010 requirements, indicating a more porous mix and potentially reduced durability. However, the use of coir ash can be a sustainable and economical solution in road construction. Testing the normal AC-WC asphalt laston layer obtained an optimum asphalt content (KAO) value of 6%, with a VIM value of 4.145%, a VMA value of 17.439%, a VFA value of 76.304%, a stability value of 1446.3 kg, and a flow value of 3.19 mm.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kota Pagar Alam memiliki berbagai objek wisata yang menarik, salah satunya berada di kawasan Desa Bumi Agung. Sebagai daerah wisata, Desa ini membutuhkan fasilitas umum umum yang memadai, termasuk toilet umum untuk wisatawan dan masyarakat setempat yang tidak memiliki toilet pribadi.  Saat ini toilet umum Desa Bumi Agung berukuran 3  x 4 m dan dibangun semi permanen, terdiri dari satu bak dan satu toilet berukuran 1 m x 1 m. Namun, kondisi bangunannya masih belum layak, dengan dinding toilet hanya setengah setinggi 50 cm dan sekitar bangunan terdapat semak belukar. Permasalahan di Desa ini adalah kurangnya  infrastruktur sanitasi yang memadai, terutama ketersediaan toilet umum yang sehat. Selain itu, beberapa rumah tangga di desa ini juga tidak memiliki toilet  pribadi, sehingga masyarakat sering memanfaatkan fasilitas umum yang tidak layak. Hal ini menyebabkan menimbulkan kebutuhan mendesak akan adanya toilet umum yang sehat dan sesuai standar. Tujuan Pengabdian ini merencanakan dan merenovasi toilet umum sehat agar menjadi fasilitas yang sehat. Metode kegiatan ini meliputi mengumpulkan data melalui survei lokasi, wawancara serta pengukuran lahan  untuk memperoleh data kondisi bangunan lama. Selain itu, dilakukan juga perencanaan dan pembuatan anggaran biaya untuk renovasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan  manfaat nyata bagi wisatawan dan  masyarakat Desa Bumi Agung yang tidak memiliki toilet pribadi, dengan tersedianya dokumen perencanaan, anggaran biaya dan fisik bangunan toilet umum sehat. Kata Kunci: Sanitasi lingkungan, Toilet layak, STBM  ABSTRACT Pagar Alam City has various interesting tourist attractions, among these is  located near Bumi Agung the Village area. As a tourist area, this village needs adequate public facilities, including public toilets for tourists and local people who do not have private toilets.  Currently, Bumi Agung Village's public toilet is 3 x 4 m in size and built semi-permanently, consisting of one tub and one toilet measuring 1 m x 1 m. Nevertheless, the building’s state is still inadequate. However, The building’s state is still inadequate, with the toilet walls only half as high as 50 cm and bushes surrounding the building.  The problem in this village is the lack of adequate sanitation infrastructure, especially the availability of healthy public toilets. In addition, some households in the village do not have private toilets, so people often utilize inappropriate public facilities. This has led to an urgent need for healthy and standardized public toilets. The purpose of this service is to plan and renovate healthy public toilets to become healthy facilities. The method of this activity includes collecting data through location surveys, interviews and land measurements to gather information on the old building’s state. In addition, planning and budgeting for renovations were completed. The results of this service activity provide tangible benefits for tourists and the Bumi Agung Village community who do not have private toilets, with the availability of planning documents, cost budgets and physical healthy public toilet buildings. Keywords: Environmental sanitation, Decent toilets, STBM

Abstract

Beton salah satu bahan utama dalam bidang kontstruksi. Bangunan insfrastruktur seperti gedung, jembatan, irigasi dan jalan semuanya menggunakan beton sebagai bahan utama. Silica fume adalah material pozzolan yang halus, berbentuk butiran, sangat kecil, mengandung senyawa silika dioksida (SiO2) dan alumina (Al2O3) yang berpengaruh dalam proses pengerasan pada beton. Penggunaan silica fume pada campuran beton dapat menghasilkan beton dengan kuat tekan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan silica fume dengan variasi kadar silica fume sebesar 10% dan 20%. Menggunkan metode eksperimen sesuai standar SNI 03-2834-2000 untuk memperoleh hasil yang akan mengkonfirmasi variasi yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan kuat tekan optimum terdapat pada kadar silica fume sebesar 20% dengan kuat tekan beton 27,20 MPa pada umur beton 28 hari, dengan meningkatnya proporsi campuran silica fume kemampuan kerja beton semakin meningkat. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat diketahui semakin tinggi kadar silica fume maka workabilitas beton semakin berkurang, hal ini terjadi karena sifat silica fume yang menyerap air. Abstract

Indonesia’s dependency on imported petroleum asphalt for road infrastructure development presents a sustainability challenge. Utilizing local resources such as Lawele natural asphalt (Asbuton) offers a strategic alternative to reduce this reliance. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) mixtures using pure Lawele-modified asphalt (PMA 2%) and compare it with mixtures made with unmodified Pen 60/70 asphalt and polymer-modified asphalt Starbit E-55. The research was conducted through a laboratory experimental approach using standard testing methods (AASHTO and SNI). The SMA mixtures were tested for Marshall Stability, draindown, Indirect Tensile Strength Ratio (ITSR), and Cantabro loss. Results showed that the Starbit E-55 mixture achieved the highest stability (707 kg), followed by PMA 2% (678 kg), and Pen 60/70 (638 kg). Both PMA 2% and Starbit E-55 mixtures exhibited 0% draindown, superior to the 0.022% of Pen 60/70. The PMA 2% mixture achieved an ITSR value of 82.55% and the lowest Cantabro loss at 1.97%, indicating excellent resistance to stripping and abrasion. In conclusion, the use of PMA 2% provides comparable or even superior structural and functional performance to synthetic polymer-modified asphalt and presents a more environmentally friendly binder alternative.

Abstract

The growth in the number of vehicles in the city of Palembang is not proportional to the available road capacity, leading to traffic congestion, especially in educational areas and activity centers such as the Srijaya Negara-Padang Selasa road segment. The Palembang city government has implemented a one-way system as one of its solutions to alleviate the congestion. This study aims to analyze traffic conditions before and after the implementation of a one-way system and to evaluate the effectiveness of the policy. The research was conducted on the Srijaya Negara-Padang Selasa road segment overal seven days using a traffic survey approach, vehicle volume analysis, side friction analysis, road capacity, and degree of saturation based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Guildelines (PKJI) 2023. The rusults show that the highest traffic volume occurs during peak hours, especially in segments close to the campus area. The highest side friction was recorder in segment III at 230 SF/hour. The average degree of saturation (DS) is less than 0,47, with the level of service in classes B and C, indicating that the traffic flow is relatively stable despite the speed restrictions. The implementation of a one-way system has proven capable of improving traffic flow and accesibility. As many as 80% of respondents support this policy because it has a positive impact on mobility and increases the turnover of business operators. Thus, the one-way system is worthy of continued implementation wit improvement in controlling side obstacles and enforcing traffic regulations.
