Abstract

This paper investigates the transmission mechanism through which capital structure decisions shape bank credit quality, with investor sentiment serving as the mediating channel. Drawing on a balanced panel of 11 KBMI 3-classified commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the 2021–2025 post-pandemic period, the study employs the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), Price-to-Book Value (PBV), and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) as proxies for the respective constructs. The empirical strategy combines Random Effect Model (REM) estimation with bootstrap-resampling mediation analysis (5,000 iterations) to yield robust inference across 55 balanced observations. Estimation results show that DER does not exert a statistically significant direct influence on PBV, yet PBV demonstrates a significant inverse relationship with NPL. More importantly, the indirect effect of DER on NPL through PBV is statistically significant under bootstrap confidence intervals that exclude zero, confirming full mediation. The evidence points to market perception—captured by PBV—as the primary conduit through which funding-structure choices ultimately affect loan portfolio quality. Theoretically, the findings reconcile Signaling Theory, Trade-Off Theory, and Market Discipline Theory within a single mediating framework, enriching the literature on bank risk transmission in emerging economies. Practically, the results underscore the strategic value of cultivating positive investor sentiment as an indirect lever for reducing credit risk and reinforcing financial stability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe PT Nagamas Kurnia Sejahtera's pay, workplace, and employee performance, a textile manufacturer in Bandung Regency, and to test how far these two variables shape employee performance, both individually and jointly. A quantitative design combining descriptive and verificative approaches was applied, drawing on 100 workers selected using purposive sampling. A Likert-scale questionnaire was used to collect the data, which were then processed using multiple linear regression in SPSS. The results show that employee performance, work environment, and compensation are all in the good category, scoring 81.6%, 83.0%, and 82.6% respectively. Compensation (t = 4.809; sig = 0.000) and work environment (t = 4.179; sig = 0.000) both have a favorable and significant impact on employee performance, according to the t-test. Meanwhile, the F-test shows that employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by both compensation and work environment (F = 53.190; sig = 0.000), accounting for 52.3% of the variance. Overall, the study concludes that strengthening the compensation system alongside improving the work environment can meaningfully raise employee performance within textile manufacturing companies.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of product and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT Nusa Kharisma Raya, a medical device distributor serving institutional customers, including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative design was employed. The study involved 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on their experience in purchasing, receiving, using, or evaluating the company’s medical device products. Data were collected using a 35-item questionnaire, measured on a five-point Likert scale. Product quality was measured through performance, features, reliability, durability, conformance, aesthetics, and perceived quality, while service quality was assessed through tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. Service quality also has a positive and significant effect and shows a stronger contribution than product quality. Simultaneously, product quality and service quality significantly affect customer satisfaction and explain 57.4% of its variance. These findings confirm that customer satisfaction in medical device distribution depends not only on product conformity, reliability, and quality consistency, but also on delivery accuracy, employee responsiveness, communication, and complaint handling. The company should therefore integrate product quality control with contin

Abstract

The transformation of digital-based public services requires service providers to not only provide applications but also ensure the quality of the service experience perceived by users. In this context, this study aims to examine the role of perceived service quality and promotion in shaping customer satisfaction with the PLN Mobile application as a form of digital public service in the energy sector. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were obtained through a survey of 100 PLN Mobile application users selected based on certain criteria, namely having used the application and utilizing the available service features. The research instrument was compiled in the form of a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression after the data were declared to meet the criteria for validity, reliability, and classical assumptions required in regression analysis. The results show that perceived service quality has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. This finding indicates that the quality of the application user experience, such as system stability, ease of access, and service responsiveness, is a major factor in shaping user satisfaction evaluations. In addition, promotion also has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, although its contribution is relatively smaller compared to perceived service quality. Simultaneous testing shows that both variables together play a role in explaining variations in customer satisfaction with the PLN Mobile application. These findings confirm that the development of digital public services needs to place service quality as a top priority, with promotion as a supporting instrument that strengthens user understanding and expectations of the services provided.
