Abstract

Every child has the right to receive basic education without exception. Elementary schools provide services for all children, both normal in general and children with special needs. This argument is reinforced by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities which calls for inclusive education to be very important. In fact, many elementary schools have not been able to provide services for children with special needs. Teachers feel unable to provide educational services for children with special needs who attend regular schools. This study aims to explore information about teachers' understanding of children with special needs and their types. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected through interviews through the Google Form media and WhatsApp application with source triangulation. The participants were 28 teachers of four schools in Merauke city. The results showed that 92.9% of teachers already knew information about children with special needs in general. However, most of the participants cannot distinguish the characteristics of each type of crew well. It causes teachers to have difficulty in providing appropriate educational services.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermaksud mengembangkan bahan ajar membaca berbasis pendekatan kontekstual bagi peserta didik kelas 4 SD. Penelitian menggunakan modifikasi model Dick and Carey yang meliputi: (1) identifikasi tujuan umum pembelajaran, (2) melaksanakan analisis pembelajaran, (3) melaksanakan analisis siswa dan konteks pembelajaran, (4) membuat rumusan tujuan khusus pembelajaran, (5) melaksanakan pengembangan instrumen penilaian, (6) melaksanakan pengembangan strategi pembelajaran, (7) memilih dan melakukan pegembangan bahan pembelajaran, , (8) membuat rancangan dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif pembelajaran, (9) melaksanakan revisi pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kelayakan bahan ajar membaca mencapai 3,8 (sangat valid). Hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 95% (sangat terlaksana). Hasil respon guru dan siswa memperoleh persentase 98% dan 95% (sangat praktis). Simpulan penelitian yakni pengembangan bahan ajar membaca berbasis pendekatan kontekstual layak dan praktis digunakan oleh siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: bahan ajar membaca, pendekatan kontekstual. Abstract: This research objective were to develop the reading material based on contextual approach of grade 4 elementary school students. This development research using Dick and Carey modification model which consisted of: (1) identify instructional goals, (2) conduct instructional analysis, (3) analyze learner and context, (4) write performance objectives (5) develop assessment instrument, (6) develop instructional strategy, (7) develop and select instructional methode, (8) design and conduct formatif evaluation of instruction, (9) revise instruction. Data collection using questioner, observation and test. Data was analyzed quantitative descriptively. Research result obtained reading material validity as big as 3.8 with very valid category. learning implementation observation result obtained percentage 95% with implemented category. Teacher and student responds obtained percentage 98% and 95% with very practical category. Research result discussion showed that the development of reading material based contextual approach valid and practical used by grade 4 elementary school students. Keywords: reading material, contextual approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of ethno-STEM-oriented elementary thematic teaching materials for class IV that are valid and practical. This study uses a modified 4D model development research method, namely define, design, and development. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire or questionnaire given to material expert validators and teaching materials expert validators to see the validity of the product, and student response questionnaires to see the practicality of the product. The research was conducted at SD YPPK Santo Johanes Don Bosco Onggari with a trial run of 12 students.The results of this study are products in the form of thematic teaching materials for ethno-STEM-oriented elementary school grades with the results of a feasibility assessment from material experts after validating a score of 82% with very valid criteria and from teaching materials experts a score of 85% with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality assessment by students in product trials with 12 students as subjects obtained a score of 97,5% with very practical criteria, the resulting teaching material products have met the very valid and practical criteria, then this teaching material product is feasible to use for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at SD Advent Merauke. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were students and teachers at SD Advent. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year. Based on interviews and observations, data was obtained that students were actively involved and very enthusiastic in the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile project from the beginning to the end of the P5 project activities. Students are very active in participating in P5 project activities on the topic of MANTING. The principal and teacher conveyed the obstacles encountered in the P5 project with the MANTING topic, namely weather-related obstacles. When the rains come, all the land that has been planted with mustard plants becomes flooded and the plants died. During the MANTING project, there was a flood at the end, after the organic mustard greens had been harvested. But in fact, there are still mustard plants left that cannot be harvested because they are submerged in water. The solution taken by the school to overcome this problem is that the school plans to raise the planting area with higher beds so that when the rainy season comes, the plants will still grow well. At the end of the P5 project, all students are involved in harvesting and marketing the produce. mustard greens that have been planted. The students were very enthusiastic about participating in the mustard harvesting activity. The students looked shrewd in tying the harvested mustard greens. This is a new view for teachers and principals regarding students' abilities outside the intracurricular field.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah di Merauke masih belum sempurna. Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kab. Merauke menyatakan bahwa selama ini belum ada pengelolaan sampah yang berjalan. Beberapa kali mendatangkan alat pengolah sampah, tetap tidak membuahkan hasil. Kemudian di tahun 2019, lahirlah Bank Sampah Mandiri di jalan Prajurit sebagai salah satu Lembaga swadaya yang memfokuskan diri pada pengelolaan sampah agar bernilai ekonomis. Kehadiran bank sampah di Merauke pada awalnya tidak banyak diketahui masyarakat. Pada tahun 2021 telah dilakukan sosialisasi melalui video branding bank sampah oleh tim pengabdian Universitas Musamus. Hasilnya, hingga saat ini jumlah nasabah terus bertambah. Data terbaru dari pengurus bank sampah menunjukkan bahwa saat ini jumlah nasabah aktif sudah mencapai 230 dan masih terus bertambah. Dengan bertambahnya nasabah, maka diperlukan pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik di bank sampah mandiri. Salah satu harapan besar dari pengurus Bank Sampah Mandiri ialah adanya pendampingan untuk dapat membuat daur ulang sampah rumah tangga menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat. Mengingat daur ulang sampah dapat meningkatkanproduktifitas Bank Sampah sehingga mampu meningkatkan pemasukan Bank Sampah dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Maka dari itu pendampingan dalam pembuatan “Dapur Kompos” dilakukan untuk memaksimalkan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga yang ada baik itu sampah basah maupun sampah kering sehingga sampah dapat bernilai guna dan bernilai ekonomis.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in fourth grade students of SD Inpres Semangga 1, Merauke Regency is the importance of improving social studies and the nationalist character of students. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes on the beauty of diversity in my country theme and the nationalist character of fourth grade SD Inpres Semangga 1, Merauke Regencies students. This research is a classroom action research. The study was conducted in three cycles with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The studies subjects were the fourth grade students of SD Inpres Semangga 1, Merauke Regency. The data used in this study were students, teachers, and observers. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of pretest grade IV students used the concept map method of 41.76, increasing in the first cycle of 72.06, second cycle 76.47, and third cycle 80.59. The nationalist character of the students from the first cycle was categorized by 17.65%, increased in the second cycle by 70.59% and in the third cycle was 94.12%.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the intention of analyzing students' Creative Thinking Ability (CBA) for the Elementary Mathematics Basic Concepts course. There are 3 divisions of CBA, namely high CBA, medium CBA and low CBA. The stages that the researcher has gone through are compiling a grid of questions, making questions, scoring guidelines, giving grades and categorizing the CBA. After grouping according to CBA, the students continued with determining the sample for each CBA to analyze the test results. All CBA indicators are met by high CBA student; CBA student is not yet fulfilling elaboration, sufficient in flexibility and fulfilling 2 indicators namely fluency as well as originality; and low CBA students meet the originality indicators.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modeldiscovery learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Jenispenelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan pola equivalent control group design. Subjekpenelitian adalah siswa SD Lab UPI Kampus Cibiru kelas IV-E (kontrol/26 siswa) dan kelasIV-G (eksperimen/26 siswa). Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pretes-posttest.Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial parametrik dengan programSPSS for windows 23. Hasil pretest berpikir kritis memperoleh thitung (0,099)< ttabel (1,677),menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil posttest berpikir kritismemperoleh thitung (2,591)> ttabel (1,677), menunjukkan ada perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa.Keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol.Berdasarkan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berpengaruhpositif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis secara signifikan.Kata Kunci: model discovery learning, keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Setiap anak berhak mengenyam pendidikan dasar tanpa terkecuali. Sekolah dasar wajib menyediakan layanan bagi seluruh anak, baik yang normal secara umum maupun anak berkebutuhan khusus. Argumen tersebut diperkuat dengan adanya Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities yang menyerukan bahwa pendidikan inklusi sangat penting untuk diberlakukan. Kenyataannya, banyak sekolah dasar yang belum mampu memberikan layanan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Guru merasa tidak mampu memberikan layanan pendidikan bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus yang masuk di sekolah reguler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi mengenai pemahaman guru terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus serta jenis-jenisnya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara memalui media google form dan melalui aplikasi whatsapp dengan triangulasi sumber. Partisipan yakni 28 guru dari empat sekolah di kota Merauke. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 92.9% guru sudah mengetahui informasi mengenai apa itu anak berkebutuhan khusus secara umum. Tetapi, sebagian besar partisipan belum mampu memberdayakan karakteristik pada setiap jenis ABK dengan baik. Hal itu menyebabkan guru mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan yang sesuai.

Abstract

Kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) merupakan kegiatan wajib pada kurikulum merdeka. MANTING (Pemanfaatan Tanaman di Sekitar Lingkungan Sekolah) dipilih SD Advent sebagai topik P5 dengan latar belakang yakni SD Advent memiliki lahan  kosong yang sangat subur untuk dapat ditanami tumbuhan-tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi projek  MANTING di SD Advent Merauke. Subjek meliputi guru serta siswa di SD Advent Merauke. P5 dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan tema kewirausahaan. Para siswa sangat bersemangat dalam melakukan projek MANTING ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap pra lapangan, tahap lapangan dan tahap pelaporan. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasa tanggung jawab siswa sangat tinggi. Siswa terlibat mulai dari penyiapan lahan, penanaman bibit sawi, perawatan, penyiraman dan memanen sawi yang telah siap panen serta memasarkan hasil panen, hasil panen. Karakter siswa pada aspek ke-Tuhan-an Yang Maha Esa, Berakhlak Mulia dan gotong royong meningkat. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak baik pada peningkatan kesadaran siswa dalam menjaga lingkungan sekitar, mengutamakan persamaan dengan orang lain dan menghargai perbedaan, pemahaman agama/kepercayaan, kerjasama, gotong royong dan tanggap terhadap lingkungan sekolah. Hal ini menjadi tolak ukur pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila telah terlaksana dengan baik.
