Abstract

Abstract: Cyberbullying has become an increasingly pressing issue among adolescents, which shifted many social interactions to digital platforms. This study investigates the factors contributing to cyberbullying and its long-term impacts on students at SMAN 15 Batam. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through a survey administered to 52 students across different age groups and grade levels. The findings indicate that a majority of students have experienced significant negative effects from cyberbullying, impacting their mental health, academic performance, and social relationships. Key contributing factors include emotional instability, peer pressure, stress from remote learning, and limited social activities during the pandemic. The study highlights that the most common forms of cyberbullying involve verbal harassment, physical appearance mockery, and identity impersonation. Given the extensive impact on students' well-being, stronger intervention programs involving schools, families, and communities are essential to mitigate the harmful effects of cyberbullying and foster a safer digital environment for adolescent         Keywords: Impact; Factors; Cyber; SchoolAbstrak: Cyberbullying telah menjadi isu yang semakin mendesak di kalangan remaja, yang menggeser banyak interaksi sosial ke platform digital. Penelitian ini menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap cyberbullying dan dampak jangka panjangnya terhadap siswa di SMAN 15 Batam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang dilakukan terhadap 52 siswa dari berbagai kelompok umur dan tingkat kelas. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa telah mengalami dampak negatif yang signifikan dari cyberbullying, yang berdampak pada kesehatan mental, kinerja akademik, dan hubungan sosial mereka. Faktor-faktor utama yang berkontribusi terhadap hal ini adalah ketidakstabilan emosi, tekanan teman sebaya, stres akibat pembelajaran jarak jauh, dan terbatasnya aktivitas sosial selama pandemi. Studi ini menyoroti bahwa bentuk-bentuk cyberbullying yang paling umum melibatkan pelecehan verbal, ejekan terhadap penampilan fisik, dan peniruan identitas. Mengingat besarnya dampak terhadap kesejahteraan siswa, program intervensi yang lebih kuat yang melibatkan sekolah, keluarga, dan komunitas sangat penting untuk mengurangi dampak berbahaya dari cyberbullying dan menciptakan lingkungan digital yang lebih aman bagi remaja.Kata kunci: Dampak; Faktor; Cyber; Sekolah

Abstract

Air merupakan komponen utama pada peternakan unggas, sebab tubuh unggas tersusun setidaknya 60% - 85% air. Unggas tidak dapat bertahan hidup 2-3 hari tanpa air, sehingga peternak harus rutin mengontrol pemberian air minum tersebut. Pengontrolan secara penuh terhadap pemberian air minum pada unggas, tentunya menyita banyak waktu dan peternak tidak dapat mengerjakan aktivitas lainnya. Agar peternak dapat mengerjakan berbagai aktivitas dan kebutuhan air minum unggasnya terpenuhi, maka perlu dilakukan perancangan inovasi pengontrolan pemberian air minum. Untuk mencapai tujuan perancangan inovasi tersebut, maka alur penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan metode prototipe. Pendekatan metode tersebut dibagian atas tiga bagian penting, persiapan, prototipe dan penyerahan. Tahap persiapan dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data-data yang diperlukan pada pengembangan sistem. Pada tahap prototipe, peneliti mengenalisa, mendesain kosnep awal sistem, melakukan implementasi desain serta melakukan evaluasi terhadap prototipe yang dikembangkan. Penyerahan dan kepada pengguna dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil feedback dari pengguna. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem inovasi PADrink dengan keunggulanya pada kemampuanya dalam mendeteksi volume air dan menampilkan informasinya melalui LCD. Setelah melakukan serangkaian pengujian, diperoleh akurasi rata-rata persentase keberhasilan PADrink dalam mengontrol air sebesar 75%, di mana sensor ultrasonik yang digunakan sangat mempengaruhi berhasil atau tidaknya proses pengontrolan air yang diteteskan. Dari delapan kali hasil pengukuran, rata-rata tingkat akurasi seleisih ketinggian air dan pembacaan sensor sebesar 1,8 cm. Sedangkan persentase tingkat eror yang diperoleh dari pembacaan sensor hanya 3% yang menandakan bahwa pengukuran secara manual dan dengan menggunakan sensor tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan.

Abstract

The main issue that needs to be addressed in this research is to enhance the safety and efficiency of the vessel berthing process by reducing the risk of collisions with the dock. With the advancement of technology in the maritime industry, there is still a reliance on various parties such as tugboats, ship crew, and dock authorities to ensure safe vessel berthing. Therefore, it is necessary to design a modern technology-based parking sensor system to provide assistance in the vessel berthing process. By using a parking sensor system based on the Arduino Uno R3 and ultrasonic sensors JSN-SR04T and AJ-SR04M, this research aims to address the risk of collisions with the dock, which can result in serious damage to the vessel, dock, and the surrounding environment. This parking sensor system is designed to reduce this risk by providing early warnings to the users. Furthermore, the research aims to reduce dependence on human factors and minimize human errors. Lastly, the research also aims to improve the efficiency of the vessel berthing process. By designing and implementing this prototype, the research aims to provide a technological solution to address the above-mentioned issues, enhance safety, and optimize the vessel berthing process around Motor Vessel BIN NO.2 EKS. SANYO MARU NO.8.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pembuatan laporan keuangan berbasis cloud untuk UMKM Café Abang di Kota Batam. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku usaha tentang laporan keuangan, mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi berbasis web, meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menentukan harga pokok produksi melalui pemisahan biaya produksi dan non-produksi, serta mendorong mereka agar lebih fokus pada pengembangan bisnis. Pelaksanaan program dimulai pada Juli hingga Desember 2024 dan melibatkan beberapa tahapan: sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pelaku usaha Café Abang mengenai pentingnya laporan keuangan yang disusun sesuai standar akuntansi. Hal ini tidak hanya membantu meminimalkan kesalahan dalam penarikan kesimpulan laba/rugi, tetapi juga mendukung perhitungan biaya produksi dan penentuan harga jual yang lebih akurat. Pemanfaatan teknologi cloud dalam pencatatan keuangan turut meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat penyusunan laporan, dan memungkinkan akses data secara real-time, sehingga pelaku usaha dapat lebih fokus pada pengembangan strategi bisnis yang inovatif.

Abstract

Abstract: In this study, an analysis of the use of the Naive Bayes algorithm for sentiment analysis of reviews from Shopee app users on the Google Play Store was conducted, with classification divided into three categories: positive, negative, and neutral. To improve data quality, a preprocessing process was carried out with stages of cleaning, case folding, normalization, stop word removal, stemming, and tokenizing. Next, the text is formatted using the TF-IDF method to facilitate classification. For this data, the Naive Bayes model is used, which has an accuracy rate of 87% in detecting sentiment. Positive and negative categories can be easily identified compared to neutral sentiments due to the smaller amount of neutral data. Overall, the Naive Bayes algorithm successfully analyzed user sentiments well. The research can be developed with other algorithm methods, such as SVM, K-NN, or Decision Tree, in order to compare the performance of various algorithms.Keywords: sentiment analysis; naive bayes; user reviews; e-commerce; shopee Abstrak: Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis penggunaan algoritma Naive Bayes untuk analisis sentimen review dari pengguna aplikasi Shopee di Google Play Store, klasifikasi dibagai menjadi 3 kategori yaitu positif, negatif, dan netral. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas data, dilakukam proses preprocessing dengan tahap cleanimg, case folding, normalisasi, stopword removal, stemming, dan tekonezing. Selanjutnya, teks diformat menggunakan metode TF-IDF untuk memudahkan klasifikasi. Untuk data ini, model Naive Bayes digunakan, yang memiliki tingkat akurasi 87% dalam mendeteksi sentimen. Kategori positif dan negatif dapat dengan mudah diidentifikasi dibadingkan sentiemen netral karena jumlah data netral yang lebih sedikit. Secara keseluruhan, algoritma Naive Bayes berhasil menganalisis perasaan pengguna dengan baik. Abstract

Project management is the activity of organizing, leading, and controlling company resources to achieve desired goals. PT. Sintech Berkah Abadi greatly needs such a system to support and improve services for the satisfaction of both employees and customers in their company's project activities. As a company operating in the software provider industry in the global market, offering business solutions with advanced technology, they face various challenges in data processing. These challenges include data errors or losses occurring in various stages such as application creation, data processing, approval processes, and project reporting. Therefore, PT. Sintech Berkah Abadi requires a web-based project management system application. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interviews, and literature review, while the analysis method used is SWOT. The implementation of this project management system application can provide a solution for the company, making work processes more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Tablet PC which is one part of technological developments in the field of communication that aims to meet the needs of users where these needs are not found on smartphones or laptops, is an option that can be an alternative communication tool that can meet needs involving a smartphone. such as designing, playing games, and working. related to the many models of tablet PCs in the world of communication causes the selection of the best tablet PC to be a problem for the users themselves. One of them is if the user chooses the wrong type of tablet PC according to their needs, the tablet PC does not make it easier, instead it hinders the activities of the user himself. therefore data from the types of tablet PCs are collected from 5 criteria and 7 alternatives where the criteria have been determined including screen size, memory capacity, memory type, hard disk capacity and price. From these criteria, the use of ROC can be used to giving weight to each criterion which is then determined using the MOORA method included in the decision that can give the maximum and accurate final preference value, so this study determines the best tablet pc choice option is alternative A1 brand apple ipad air with a final value of 0.054 as the best alternative.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to simulate the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) in household devices using Cisco Packet Tracer. In this simulation, various devices such as smart lights, fans, air conditioners, automatic doors, automated windows, and smoke detectors were successfully controlled via smartphone with the assistance of a Home Gateway. The research was conducted using a structured simulation method, starting from planning to network topology evaluation. The simulation results show that the integration of IoT devices can function efficiently and stably. Each testing scenario from unlocking doors and adjusting fan speed to smoke detection was executed successfully and demonstrated real-time responses. This success highlights that Cisco Packet Tracer is an effective and cost-efficient tool for designing and testing smart home systems before real-world implementation. Moreover, the ease of controlling devices through mobile gadgets adds an extra layer of convenience for users. This study provides practical and applicable insights into the benefits of IoT technology in household settings and opens further opportunities for future smart home development. Keyword: Internet of Things (IoT); Cisco Packet Tracer; Smart Home; Home Gateway; Network Simulation Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensimulasikan penerapan Internet of Things (IoT) dalam perangkat rumah tangga dengan menggunakan Cisco Packet Tracer. Dalam simulasi ini, berbagai perangkat seperti lampu pintar, kipas angin, AC, pintu otomatis, jendela otomatis, dan detektor asap berhasil dikendalikan melalui smartphone dengan bantuan Home Gateway. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode simulasi yang terstruktur, mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi topologi jaringan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa integrasi perangkat IoT dapat berfungsi dengan efisien dan stabil. Setiap skenario pengujian, mulai dari membuka pintu, mengatur kecepatan kipas, hingga mendeteksi asap, berhasil dilaksanakan dengan baik dan menunjukkan respons secara real-time. Keberhasilan ini menggarisbawahi bahwa Cisco Packet Tracer adalah alat yang efektif dan ekonomis untuk merancang serta menguji sistem rumah pintar sebelum diterapkan dalam kenyataan. Selain itu, kemudahan dalam mengontrol perangkat melalui gadget mobile memberikan kenyamanan tambahan bagi pengguna. Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of simulating an IoT-based smart home system by utilizing the Cisco Packet Tracer version 8.2.2. This simulation application is used because it is able to provide a network simulation environment that is close to the real world to understand the basic concepts of IoT and its application in smart home systems. The method used in this study is the system development and simulation approach, where researchers design a smart home network consisting of several devices, such as fans, air conditioners, lights, windows, webcams, and garage doors. All of these devices are configured to be controlled automatically via sensors and manually remotely using a cloud-based interface. The results of this study's simulation show that all predetermined devices have been successfully integrated and controlled properly according to the previously designed scenario. Cisco Packet Tracer shows effective results in visualizing the workflow of an IoT-based smart home system and allows stable network communication between devices.

Abstract

Efficient and effective waste management is crucial for maintaining cleanliness and environmental health, especially in school environments. This research aims to develop and implement a Smart Trash Can system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and microcontroller as an intelligent solution for waste management at Building B of the Maitreyawira Foundation in Batam. The system is designed to detect the fill level of trash bins in real-time and send notifications to the management center via the IoT network. The Smart Trash Can utilizes ultrasonic sensors to measure the volume of waste and an ESP32 microcontroller to process the data. Information regarding the fill status of the trash bins is transmitted through wireless communication modules to a central server integrated with a web-based application, allowing the building management to monitor and manage waste more efficiently. Test results based on blackbox testing tables show that this prototype functions well, with a detection accuracy rate of 95%. The system can provide accurate information about the fill level of the trash bins and reduce manual checking frequency by up to 80%, thus enhancing the operational efficiency of waste management at Building B of the Maitreyawira Foundation. With the implementation of this technology, it is expected to improve environmental cleanliness and make a positive contribution to better waste management in urban areas.
