Abstract

In taking education there must be a lot of problems faced by students, especially when they are in the phase of adolescent development which is a transitional period. This study aims to determine how big the relationship between hardiness and academic stress in class XI students of SMA Negeri 4 in Padang. The independent variable in this study is hardiness and the dependent variable in this study is academic stress. The measuring tools used in this research are the hardiness scale and the academic stress scale which the researchers constructed themselves based on the theoretical concepts used where for the hardiness scale uses the theoretical concepts covering three aspects, namely commitment, control, and challenge. Academic stress uses the theoretical concept which includes four aspects, namely biological, cognitive, emotional and behavioral. The sample collection technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 153 students who were in SMA Negeri 4 Padang. The validity test in this study is to use content validity and construct validity. The validity coefficient results obtained on the hardiness scale moved from rxy = 0.352 to rxy = 0.830 with a reliability coefficient α = 0.917, while the validity coefficient on the academic stress scale moved from rxy = 0.348 to rxy = 0.822 with a reliability coefficient α = 0.941. Based on data analysis, a correlation value of r = -0.535 was obtained with a significance level of p = 0.000, meaning that the hypothesis was accepted. This shows that there is a moderate and very significant relationship between hardiness and academic stress in class XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Padang with a negative relationship. The effective contribution of hardiness to academic stress is 29% while 71% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and happiness in students at SMK Negeri "X" Padang. The variables in this research are religiosity (X) and happiness (Y). The sampling technique in this research used a stratified random sampling technique. The total sample were 182 people. The measuring instruments used in this research are the religiosity scale and happiness scale. The data analysis method used for hypothesis testing in this research is using Pearson product moment (Pearson) correlation which was carried out with the help of IBM SPSS version 21.0, which shows that the correlation coefficient value is r=0.723 with a sig value=0.000, because the value (p) sig 0.000, because the value (p) sig 0.000 <0.01 which means there is a very significant relationship between religiosity and happiness in a positive direction, meaning that the higher the religiosity, the higher the happiness. On the other hand, the lower the religiosity, the lower the happiness of students at SMK Negeri "X" Padang. This means that the research hypothesis is accepted. The effective contribution of the religiosity variable to happiness is 52%.

Abstract

After completing high school education, many decide to choose to continue on to college. When you become a student, there will definitely be lots of assignments, obligations and challenges faced in order to complete your studies to completion, so it's not surprising that many students experience task aversiveness. Task aversiveness greatly affects the academic procrastination of students. This study aims to determine the relationship between task aversiveness and academic procrastination final assignments on students in the tourism department of hospitally management study program, faculty of tourism and hospitally class of 2017-2018 Univeritas Negeri Padang. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlation method. The measuring instrument used in this study was task aversiveness scale and academic procrastination scale. The population in this study was student at tourism department of hospitally management study program, the sampel was 112 students of the tourism department of hospitally management study program, faculty of tourism and hospitally class of 2017-2018 Universitas Negeri Padang. this study used probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out used the rho (ρ) correlation thecniques. The results showed that the correlation coefficient of rho (ρ) is 0,410 with a (ρ) is 0,000. This showed that there was very significant positive relationship between task aversiveness and academic procrastination students in the tourism department of hospitally management study program, faculty of tourism and hospitally class of 2017-2018 Universitas Negeri Padang. It means that the higher the task aversiveness, the higher the academic procrastination and the lower the task aversiveness, the lower the academic procrastination. The effective contribution of the task aversiveness variable to the academic procrastination variable is 17%.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan masa yang rentan dan masa penting untuk menentukan perjalanan remaja di masa yang akan datang. Banyak remaja yang terjerumus pada kenakalan remaja, dan tidak dapat menentukan tujuan akhir masa depannya. Sehingga hal tersebut perlu menjadi perhatian banyak pihak, termasuk remaja yang bersangkutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara grit dengan subjective well-being pada siswa jurusan teknik bisnis sepeda motor SMK X di Kota Padang. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan skala Subjective Well-Being dan Skala Grit yang peneliti kembangkan berdasarkan teori sebelumnya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Siswa Jurusan Teknik Bisnis Sepeda Motor SMK X di Kota Padang yang berjumlah 104 orang siswa. Teknik yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Maka jumlah sampel yang akan menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumalah 104 orang siswa pada jurusan teknik bisnis sepeda motor SMK X di Kota Padang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson yang dilakukan dengan bantuan IBM SPSS versi 21.0 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,538 dengan nilai (p) sig = 0,000, karena nilai (p) sig 0,000 < 0,01yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara grit dengan subjective well-being dengan arah positif, artinya semakin tinggi grit makan semakin tinggi subjective well-being sebaliknya semakin rendah grit, maka semakin rendah juga subjective well-being pada siswa jurusan teknik bisnis sepeda motor SMK X di Kota Padang. Berarti hipotesis penelitian dapat diterima. Kontribusi efektif variabel grit terhadap subjective well-being 29%.

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan tempat siswa untuk menimba ilmu. SMA merupakan pendidikan wajib terakhir yang ada di Indonesia, baru kemudian siswa memutuskan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan atau tidak. Siswa SMA umumnya berusia 15-19 tahun, dan berada pada masa transisi dari masa anak-anak menuju dewasa. Dalam memutuskan untuk memilih SMA, remaja ada yang memutuskan pilihannya sendiri, namun ada yang paksaan dan pilihan dari orangtuanya. Di masa sekolah, siswa berhubungan tidak hanya dengan guru, namun dengan teman dan lingkungannya di sekolah. Siswa saling bergaul dengan teman, namun banyak juga siswa yang merasa tidak memiliki kedekatan dengan sekolah, teman, guru, sehingga menimbulkan menurunnya motivasi belajar, dan prestasinya. Hal ini biasa dikenal dengan istilah school connectedness. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi school connectedness adalah iklim sekolah. Iklim sekolah yang baik, dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman dan aman untuk siswa, sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasinya dibidang akademik maupun non akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara iklim sekolah dengan school connectedness pada 221 siswa SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung, menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur iklim sekolah (X) dan school connectedness (Y). Hasil analisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson dengan bantuan IBM SPSS 21.0 menunjukkan koefisien korelasi r=-0,554 dan nilai p=0,000, yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan. Semakin baik iklim sekolah, semakin tinggi tingkat school connectedness siswa, dan sebaliknya. Sumbangan efektif iklim sekolah terhadap school connectedness adalah 31%.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the correlation of self-regulation with the resilience of non-residential students for Electrical Engineering students at the Padang State Polytechnic. The independent variable in this research was self-regulation and the dependent variable is resilience. The measuring instruments used in this research are the self-regulation scale and the resilience scale. The sample selection technique in this research is a random sampling technique. The sample in this research was 118 Electrical Engineering students’ class of 2022 at Padang State Polytechnic. Item index discrimination and reliability testing in this research used the Cronbach's Alpha technique. The results of the item index discrimination on the self-regulation scale ranged from 0.320 to 0.631. The results of the item index discrimination on the resilience scale ranged from 0.300 to 0.722. Self-regulation reliability coefficient of 0.887 and a resilience scale of 0.893. Based on data analysis, the correlation value between self-regulation and resilience is r = 0.532 (p < 0.05), meaning there is a significant correlation between self-regulation and the resilience of non-residential students for Electrical Engineering students at the Padang State Polytechnic. Correlation in a positive direction show that the higher the self-regulation, the higher the resilience and conversely, the lower the self-regulation, the lower the resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social support dengan psychological well-being pada masyarakat terdampak bencana banjir bandang di nagari parambahan kabupaten tanah datar. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah social support (X) dan psychological well-being (Y). Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Nagari Parambahan yang terdampak bencana banjir bandang yang berjumlah 247 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala social support dan skala psychological well-being. Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson yang dilakukan dengan bantuan IMB SPSS versi 21.0, yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi r= 0,618, karena nilai (p) sig 0,000, karena nilai (p) sig 0,000<0,01 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara social support dengan psychological well-being dengan arah positif, artinya semakin tinggi social support, maka semakin tinggi psychological well-being. Sebaliknya semakin rendah social support, maka semakin rendah juga psychological well-being pada masyarakat terdampak bencana banjir bandang di Nagari Parambahan Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Konstribusi efektif variabel social support terhadap psychological well-being adalah 38,1%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between loneliness (loneliness) and fear of missing out among teenage students who use Instagram at SMA Pertiwi 1 Kota Padang. The variables in this study consisted of two variables, namely the loneliness tool and the fear of missing out. The research method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The measuring instrument used is a Likert scale questionnaire based on the loneliness scale and the fear of missing out scale. The sampling technique used is random sampling, with a total of 90 people, namely teenage students who use Instagram in high school. Pertiwi 1 Padang City The results of the study found that 16% of the loneliess level was low and 70% was moderate, meanwhile 17% of the teenage students had a high level ofloneliness.

Abstract

In this era, human resources are very important. This can be developed through educational models, especially in the field of mathematics. Math is essential for problem solving and decision making in any environment. In fact, many students still fail in math. This makes this research intended to determine the correlation of Self Regulated Learning with Mathematics Learning Achievement at level XI IPS at SMA Adabiah Kota Padang. Self Regulated Learning is the independent variable, while Learning Achievement is the dependent variable. The instrument is measured through the Self Regulated Learning scale and the mean score of the Mathematics report card. Simple saturated sampling technique was used to select the sample, which was 62 students of XI social studies class of Adabiah High School. Validity and reliability were assessed through Cronbach's Alpha method. The validity coefficient is rxy = 0.326 to rxy = 0.861, the reliability coefficient ? = 0.896. The data obtained is 0.333 on sign. 0.009 which means the acceptance of a hypothesis. This result explains that there is a positive relationship between Self Regulated Learning and Math Learning Achievement for XI IPS at Adabiah High School in Padang City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kelelahan kerja pada perawat di Rumah Sakit Tk. III Dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang. Beban kerja merupakan kondisi di mana seorang perawat dihadapkan pada tugas-tugas yang harus diselesaikan dalam waktu tertentu, sementara kelelahan kerja merupakan kondisi kelelahan fisik, emosional, dan mental akibat keterlibatan dalam pekerjaan dengan tuntutan emosional tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 118 orang perawat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dari total populasi 210 orang. Menurut Sugiyono (2022) teknik simple random sampling yaitu pengambilan anggota sampel dari populasi yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada didalam populasi itu. Pada penelitian ini, penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan tabel Isaac dan Michael dengan taraf kesalahan 10%. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala beban kerja dan skala kelelahan kerja, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara beban kerja dengan kelelahan kerja pada perawat di Rumah Sakit Tk. III Dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,612 dan nilai signifikansi p < 0,01. Semakin tinggi beban kerja yang dirasakan perawat, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kelelahan kerja yang dialami. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak rumah sakit dalam melakukan manajemen beban kerja dan upaya preventif terhadap kelelahan kerja perawat.
