Abstract

Permasalahan keuangan dalam bisnis tersebut memunculkan sebuah temuan pengembangan bisnis baru. Pengembangan tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan financial engineering dalam bisnis. Financial engineering (rekayasa keuangan) adalah proses perencanaan, pengembangan, dan penerapan inovasi dan formalisasi produk keuangan untuk memecahkan masalah di sektor keuangan. Pengusaha dan pemilik bisnis membutuhkan pemahaman yang jelas tentang apa yang dimaksud dengan financial engineering dan bagaimana teknologinya dapat diterapkan. Dengan memahami financial engineering ini diharapkan kelangsungan hidup perusahaan akan bertahan lama dan ketidakpastian mengenai kelangsungan hidup perusahaan dapat dihindari. Namun dalam sebuah pengembangan financial engineering dalam bisnis perlu dilakukan manajemen yang baik. Hal itu dilakukan untuk meminimalisir risiko-risiko yang akan muncul di kemudian hari. Risiko memiliki berbagai macam, risiko merupakan sebuah masalah yang perlu dihindari. Manajemen risiko akan menghadapi tantangan berat ketika mendekati kebutuhan spesifik dan endogen. ISO 31000:2009 memberikan pedoman umum dan kerangka kerja dalam manajemen risiko dari berbagai negara. Pedoman dalam ISO 31000:2009 memberikan dorongan untuk tindakan pencegahan yang dapat diterapkan dalam mengantisipasi dampak negatif dari risiko yang muncul. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka akan dilakukan analisis risiko apa yang akan terjadi dalam sebuah bisnis yang melakukan pengembangan financial engineering. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan studi analisis dari permasalahan yang nyata pada pengembangan financial engineering dalam bisnis yang pernah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Sehingga nantinya akan didapatkan kesimpulan risiko yang muncul dalam penerapan financial engineering. Kata kunci: risk management, financial engineering, business

Abstract

Human resources are assets and priorities for the company, production activities cannot be carried out optimally and significant losses can occur. From human or employee activities can cause workload, although the level of workload on employees will be different. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing the production of bathroom doors from galvanized steel. Production workers often feel the workload, it is complained about by the decline in performance and productivity of work in meeting the company's targets and demands. One of these factors is mental burden that exceeds capacity, thus having an impact on mental health or stress. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of mental workload by measuring and analyzing using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. The NASA-TLX method is a measurement of mental workload with six indicators, namely Physical Demand, Mental Demand, Temporal Demand, Performance, Effrot, and Frustration. Of the 35 samples of workers in the production unit at PT. XYZ obtained an average score of 85 indicating the "Very High" category with the highest indicators being Effort and Physical Demand. This is influenced by the lack of ergonomic factors of a comfortable and safe work environment system.

Abstract

PT XYZ. Is an industrial company that produces galvalume toilet doors. August 2024. Successfully produced 11,147 non-coloring galvalume doors and 1,645 existing defective products. These problems are caused by a variety of factors including machines, people, and materials. To overcome this problem, the Six Sigma method was integrated with the DMAIC approach. The aim of this approach is to identify the causes of defects and provide solutions and preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of defective products. Types with broken rivets 49.06%, fast frame coming off 19.88%, loose 11.00%, loose 5.11%, black scratches 2.86%, rivets not up to 2.55%, brand, rust & scratches 2.43%, brands & scratches 1.52%, length 1.46%, dents & loose 1.22%, stains & scratches 0.97%, tilted 0.36%, black stains 0.30%, poor installation 0.30%, loose & loose connections 0.30%, scratches & dents 0.18%, rusted 0.12%, rust & scratches 0.12%, dents 0.12%, loose connections 0.06%, reversed 0.06%. Broken rivets are the most common cause of product defects. PT. XYZ. Measured using defects per million occurrences (DPMO) and shows that the quality of the door product is at a sigma level of 6.030 and a DPMO value of 4.676. Factors include galvalume and rivet nails that do not meet production standards, as well as worker negligence during the production process. Based on these findings, several suggestions were put forward, including the need for a control list to check good and bad raw materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinan dari Intensi Mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran. data penelitian dikumpulkan dari mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, dengan menggunakan angket yang disebarkan dengan bantuan google form, dan menghasilkan 248 jawaban yang valid. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital mempengaruhi perceived ease of use dan perceived usefulness, namun literasi digital tidak mempengaruhi Intensi Mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran. Di samping itu, analisis data mengungkapkan bahwa Intensi Mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh Perceived ease of use dan Perceived usefulness. Sementara hasil uji mediasi menunjukkan bahwa Perceived ease of use dan Perceived usefulness berperan dalam memediasi hubungan antara literasi digital dan Intensi Mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa digital literasi harus dikembangkan agar mampu menumbuhkan Intensi Mahasiswa dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran, dan didukung oleh Perceived ease of use dan Perceived usefulness

Abstract

Waste management problems in Kudus City show high complexity, marked by an increase in the volume of daily waste generation that is not balanced by an adequate handling system. This study aims to optimize the waste management system in an integrated manner with an industrial engineering approach, especially through the application of the Lean Waste Management concept, redesigning facilities and logistics, and strengthening community participation based on Human-Centered Design (HCD). A qualitative method with a case study approach was used, with data triangulation techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The results of the study showed that 75% of households did not sort their waste, only 2 out of 6 TPSTs were active, and the TPA capacity had exceeded its limit since 2022. The efficiency of the transportation system is also low due to suboptimal routes and frequencies. This study offers solutions based on technology integration, facility redesign, logistics optimization, and community empowerment. With a systemic approach based on industrial engineering, an efficient and sustainable waste management model can be applied, not only in Kudus, but also in other areas with similar challenges.
