The writing of this thesis is motivated by the decrease of students’ respect attitude to the teacher, therefore, the researcher is moved to examine the causes of the decreasing respect attitude while proposing the solution by applying affective learning. The purpose of this study is to examine the differences in respect between students who use affective learning with students who do not use affective learning. The method used is quantitative method in the form of quasi experiment by using class experiment and class control with the hypothesis that there are differences of respect attitude between students who do not use affective learning. The results showed that there were differences between students using affective learning with students who did not use affective learning, it is proven from the results of t-test calculation on the students’ respect attitude after receiving treatment with 5% significance level obtained by Sig (2-tailed) of 0,000 and the value of Sig (2-tailed) is less than 0,05. Thus, it can be concluded that effective learning affects students’s respect attitudePenulisan skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penurunan sikap hormat siswa kepada guru sehingga penulis tergerak untuk meneliti apa penyebab penurunan sikap hormat tersebut sambil mengajukan solusi menerapkan pembelajaran afektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti tentang perbedaan sikap hormat antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran afektif dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan pembelajaran afektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif yang berbentuk percobaan semu  dengan menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan hipotesis terdapat perbedaan sikap hormat antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran afektif dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan pembelajaran afektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran afektif dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan pembelajaran afektif, hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji-t skala sikap hormat siswa setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05. Permasalahan yang terjadi di lingkungan kampuang  pemulung di Cirendeu Ciputat adalah kurangnya ketersedian buku bacaan . Kegiatan memulung menjadikan mereka kurang memiliki minat membaca. Adapun  kegiatan pengabdian  masyarakat adalah mengadakan kegiatan mendoneng yang dibantu dengan keberadaan laptop dan boneka tangan. Kegiatan ini telah mampu menjadikan  anak pemulung berbudaya literasi. Kendala yang terjadi dilapangan adalah anak di kampung pemulung lebih suka bermain daripada mendengarkan dongeng. Cara yang digunakan adalah menarik anak dengan cara mendongeng yang menarik. Kegiatan berhadiah , Hasil nilai rata-rata  prestasi keamampaun  memahami cerita dongeng adalah 96,8. Nilai prestasi rata-rata kemampuan  anak pemulung yang ikut sebagai peserta dongeng sudah diatas rata-rata.Kata Kunci: Kegaiatan mendongeng, Prestasi kemampuan anak memahami cerita dongeng, anak di kampung pemulung Cirendeu

This research was motivated by the interest of Hizbul Wathan Course Lecturers about the character of students' responsibilities towards the tasks given by lecturers. An attitude of responsibility to oneself has the advantage of attitudes such as honest, disciplined, and trustworthy. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the relationship between Hizbul Wathan courses and to find out how much the relationship between Hizbul Wathan subjects and the character of responsibility among students. Samples used in PGSD UMJ semester 5 students. The method used in this study is quantitative discriptive with Pearson correlation statistical data processing. Data analysis through written tests. The results of the study were the relationship between Hizbul Wathan courses and the character of responsibility. The teaching of Hizbul Wathan (HW) courses and the character of responsibility have a strong relationship of 0.764 during one semester. This research is useful to related parties, namely Hizbul Wathan course lecturers, students, faculties, and Hizbul Wathan Qobilah Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta.

The problem in this study stems from the problem of decreasing literacy scores of elementary school children in south Tangerang below 75. The purpose of the study was to find indicators of book making that are able to make children tend to visually spatial like the books they read. This study used qualitatif research with data collection using Surveys.   There were 62 samples of grade 5 students who tend to think visual spatial The results of the study obtained the formulation of indicators in making books that are tailored for children who tend to think visual spatial. The findings formulate indicators for making storybooks for children to think visually spatial, that visual spatial children like many pictures with attractive color displays. They like comics because of the few sentences they read. A teacher has responsibility and tasks to mastering the knowlege tools required by pupils in their learning activities at the class. The reading comprehension problem in Tangerang Sub-District is lack of reading comprehension ability among students about the story questions. There are 30% of the pupils from Class 5 who encounter difficulty when reading about the story questions they do not know how to looking for the storyline and content.  As a result, their reading comprehension ability and rate decline as well. Moreover, when presenting the learning activities the learning method applied by teachers  is lack of variation, and they only use the classical methods. Average mid-term exam scores in the class for the lesson of Bahasa Indonesia is 70 and it remains under the governments target that has to have 75 points in average. The research purpose is 1) to know the influence of the contextual learning model on reading comprehension ability for pupils of the Fifth-Grade Elementary School. 2) to know the influence of the SAVI learning model on reading comprehension ability of the fifth grade elementary pupils. 3) to know which the learning methods is appropriate to be used to increase reading comprehension abillity for the fifth-grade elementary school pupils in Tangerang District. The research use 50 samples for the fifth grade elementary school pupils in two State Elementary Schools with the accredated status of A in Tangerang District. It is the quantitative resech with the quasi experiment research design. The data test uses the prerequsite test, i.e. homogeneity test and normality test. Mofeover, the hypothesis test uses the t-test and the one-way Anova. The results of the data test that use the t-test and one-way Anova show that the two model are able to increase the reading comprehension ability overall. The results of the one-way Anova test show that the results of comparing the two learning models that have the higher influence is the contextual model. The SAVI reading model has an influence to the reading comprehension ability. that the contextual learning model has an influence to the reading comprehension ability. the contextual learning model has a higher influence than the SAVI learning model.

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya persoalan kemampuan  pemahaman  bacaan siswa yang masih rendah dengan nilai rata-rata harian berkisaran 70 di kelas 5 SD Negeri larangan 1 Tangerang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory Visual, Intelektual terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Larangan 1. Adapun ada 25 sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Instrumen penelitian ini telah melewati uji validitas dan reliabilitas Data penelitian ini sudah memenuhi uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Adapun uji hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman bacaan adalah uji t. Setelah diberikan  perlakuan  berupa  model pembelajaran SAVI pada siswa yang mengalami lemahnya kemampuan pemahaman bacaan hasilnya menunjukan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa mengalami peningkatan. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa di SDN Larangan 01 Tangerang Banten. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil analisis pada uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan hasil signifikansi yang didapat sebesar 0,000. Yang artinya nilai tersebut kurang dari taraf signifikansi yakni 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada hipotesis terjawab Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah adanya sejumlah anak yang tinggal di daerah prostitusi di Tangerang Selatan memilki perilaku buruk akibat dampak kegiatan prostitusi di wilayah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh stretegi pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap pemahaman perilaku baik anak pra sekolah di wilayah prostitusi Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kampung Buaran Tangerang selatan dengan jumlah 25 sampel acak baik lelaki dan perempu-an. Penelitian dilakukan bulan April tahun 2022 selama 1 minggu. Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan menggunakan analisis data t tes. Intrumen tes sudah tervalidasi ahli dan layak digunakan untuk pengambilan sam-pel. Uji prasyarat menunjukan bahwa bersifat normal dan homogen. Hasil hipoteis menunjukan bahwa perbandingan t tes terdapat nilai signifikansi (sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai signifikans tabel 0,05 maka ada perbedaan anta-ra nilai pre tes sebelum perlakukan dan hasil nilai pos tes setelah dilakukan perla-kuan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan memahami perilaku baik pada anak pra remaja yang terjadi di sekitar wilayah pros-titusi di Tangerang Selatan. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah Strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah telah menunjukan adanya pengaruh secara sifgnif-ikans terhadap pemahaman anak terhadap perilaku baik di sekitar lingkungan pros-titusi Tangerang Selatan.

Banten Province is a province adjacent to the Capital of Indonesia, Jakarta. Many workers in Jakarta live in Banten Province. The high mobility of Banten workers working in Jakarta caused the outbreak of the Covid virus which is quite high in Banten. The focus of this research area is on one of the areas in Banten province, namely Tangerang and South Tangerang, which is the border area between Jakarta and Banten. For almost two years Covid, Tangerang and south Tangerang faced an increase in poverty rates and decreased quality of school-age human resources The increase in poverty affects students' ability to understand reading due to low purchasing power of children's reading books. The impact of reading comprehension skills in 5th graders is the focus of research. Inability to understand reading in children can affect regional and state development. This research aims to identify the competence of reading comprehension skills in elementary school children in Banten province. This study uses descriptive quantitative research using random sampling in 5th graders spread across two cities in Banten province. Data collection was done using tests in 5th graders as many as 110 participants. Data processing is carried out using average or mean on 3 cognitive reading comprehension abilities which are then displayed in graphic form. The results showed that there was a decrease in reading comprehension ability in 8 reading comprehension competencies. The average result of the value of the ability to understand reading in Banten province is 62. This research report provides input to local and central governments to address the decline in students' reading comprehension skills. This study investigates the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on elementary students' mathematical critical thinking skills and resilience. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the research involved 45 fifth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. Validated instruments, aligned with higher-order thinking and affective constructs, were used to assess critical thinking and mathematical resilience. Quantitative findings demonstrated that the PBL model led to statistically significant improvements in both constructs. Students in the experimental group outperformed their peers, with large effect sizes (Cohen’s d = 2.51 for critical thinking, 2.35 for resilience), and the Mann-Whitney U test confirmed significant intergroup differences. Furthermore, Spearman correlation analysis (r = 0.460, p < 0.05) revealed a moderate positive relationship between resilience and critical thinking. Qualitative analysis showed that students with higher resilience provided more reflective and elaborate responses. The study emphasizes the educational potential of integrating affective-cognitive instructional models. PBL not only enhances academic performance but also supports students’ emotional persistence and adaptability in learning mathematics. However, limitations such as small sample size and sampling method should be considered in interpreting the results. The study concludes that fostering mathematical resilience is essential to optimizing the cognitive benefits of PBL and recommends teacher training and curriculum strategies to implement this dual-focused approach effectively.
