Abstract

The 21st century is known as the century of knowledge that experiences rapid changes, to deal with it a skill is needed. One of the 21st century skills is learning and innovation skills or known as 4Cs, namely Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving, Creativity and Innovation. Students' 4Cs skills are highly demanded during the learning process, so it is important to assess students' 4Cs skills. Global warming is one of the chemistry subject matter in the penggerak school curriculum. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The study aims to describe the 4C skills of students in class XE7 SMA Negeri 2 padang with a total of 30 students. This study used an observation sheet. The results showed that overall the communication skills of students in class XE7 SMA Negeri 2 Padang were on average classified in the incompetent category (55% of students), students' collaboration skills were classified in the competent category (42% of students), students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills were classified in the incompetent category (40% of students), and creativity and innovation skills were classified in the incompetent category (88% of students).

Abstract

Materi Kesetimbangan Kimia yang harus dipahami dengan pemikiran tingkat tinggi yang salah satunya dapat dipahami dengan pemikiran secara kreatif. Untuk itu diperlukan Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menyediakan asesmen keterampilan berpikir kreatif materi kesetimbangan kimia yang valid dan reliabel sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian atau Research and Development (R & D) dan Metode yang dipakai adalah metode Mc. Intire dalam Mulyatiningsih. Mc Intire terdiri dari 10 tahapan, yaitu (1) Mendefinisikan kompetensi, peserta tes dan tujuan tes, (2)Mengembangkan rencana uji, (3) Menyusun item tes, (4) Menulis instruksi administrasi, (5) Melakukan uji coba, (6) Melakukan analisis item, (7) Merevisi tes, (8) Validasi tes, (9) Mengembangkan Norma, (10) Melengkapi tes manual. Dalam Menyusun tes dilakukan validasi menggunakan CVR, Sedangkan Uji Empirin menggunakan SPSS. Hasil Analisis validitas menggunakan CVR pada penelitian ini menunjukan nilai yang lebih besar dari 0,736 sehingga dapat dikatakan valid. Sedangkan Uji Empiris memiliki kategori soal baik tanpa revisi dan memiliki nilai reliabilitas yaitu 0,948 dengan alfa Cronbach.

Abstract

Based on interview with Teachers of SMAN 9 Padang, skills communication and collaboration not enough become attention and no ever identified _ whereas Curriculum 2013 requires teachers to develop Skills 21st century in between is communication and collaboration. one way you can bring up ability communication and collaboration student This is with implementing the Learning Model Guide Inquiry Learning (GIL) and Guide Discovery Learning (GDL). From syntax both of these models are in the implementation of the learning process student shared to in group so that student demanded more active compared to Master. Study This aim For describe is there is influence application of learning models GIL and GDL against ability communication and collaboration student class XI SMAN 9 Padang on the material equilibrium chemistry . Population study This is whole student class XI MIPA SMAN 9 Padang registered in Year Teaching 2019/2020. Sample taken with simple random sampling technique . Instrument evaluation form sheet observation and portfolio . Obtained data analyzed with use Miles and Huberman analysis. Research results with application of learning models GIL got _ percentage ability communication oral student namely 9.09% model , 90.09% proficient , and 0% developing nor beginner . Ability communication he wrote ie 90.90% very satisfactory , 9.09% satisfactory , and 0% not satisfying . ability the collaboration namely 36.36% model , 63.63% proficient , and 0% developing nor beginner . In the application of the GDL learning model , it is obtained percentage ability communication oral student namely 20% exemplary , 62.85% proficient , 17.14% developing , and 0% beginner . Ability communication he wrote ie 74.28% very satisfactory , 25.71% satisfactory , and 0% not satisfying . ability the collaboration namely 34.28% model , 65.71% proficient , and 0% developing nor beginner. Abstract

Materi asam basa merupakan salah satu pelajaran kimia yang dipelajari pada fase F. Hasil wawancara beberapa guru kimia di Padang mengemukakan proses pembelajaran menggunakan buku teks Kemendikbud sebagai salah satu bentuk penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Buku teks harus memuat konten yang relevan dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan mengikuti kurikulum. Namun, cakupan materi asam basa pada buku teks Kemendikbud masih perlu dilakukan peninjauan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian struktur konten Kurikulum Merdeka pada materi asam basa berdasarkan taksonomi Bloom Revisi, taksonomi Simpson dan Dyers serta taksonomi Anderson dan Krathwol dan buku ajar kimia. Jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER). Hasil analisis struktur berdasarkan aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Hasil analisis konten materi asam basa pada buku teks Kemendikbud terdapat beberapa konsep yang tidak sesuai terhadap buku teks Universitas yaitu beberapa sub materi dibahas kurang rinci, bahkan ada yang tidak dibahas; dan terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian urutan sub bab antara buku teks Kemendikbud dengan buku teks Universitas.

Abstract

Abstract

A proper learning process can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, appropriate learning models and systems are needed. The LSLC-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can be used as a solution. This study aims to determine the effect of the LSLC-based PBL model on learning outcomes in the aspects of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students on the atomic structure-nanomaterial. This study is a quasi experimental with a randomized posttest only control group design.Which was held to two classes of class X SMAN 9 Padang. The results show that the learning outcomes were normally distributed and had a homogeneous variance. Therefor, the t-test was done to test the hypothesis which the demonstrated Tcritical> Ttable. For those three kinds of learning outcomes, which were knowledge learning outcomes (1.9595 > 1.669); skill learning outcomes (1.9752 > 1.8124); attitude learning outcomes (2.4206 > 1.8124). The result prove that of the application of the LSLC-based PBL model on the atomic structure-nanomaterial topic has a significant effect on improving knowledge, skills, and attitude.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum demands the use of a scientific approach in the learning process. Based on the questionnaire distributed to 10 chemistry teachers in Padang City, it was found that the scientific approach had not been implemented, and students' critical thinking and problem solving skills were still low. The purpose of this research is to describe the correlation of scientific approach with critical thinking and problem solving skills. This type of research is descriptive research with simple random sampling technique. The study was conducted on 33 students in one high school in Padang City. The instruments used are document analysis sheets to see the completeness of teacher documents, observation sheets to see the implementation of the scientific approach, Structured Essay Diagnostic Test of Chemistry (SEDToC) to measure students' critical thinking and problem solving skills on benzene material. The results of the study indicate that the planning prepared by the teacher through the lesson plans has been implemented, but the implementation has not been carried out according to the scientific approach. After learning with a scientific approach, the SEDToC instrument was then given to measure students' critical thinking and problem solving skills. As many as 69% of students are classified as uncritical, 13% are quite critical, 18 are less critical and no students are classified as critical. While the problem solving ability of students is 100% low. The correlation test shows that the implementation of the scientific approach has a positive correlation with students' critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The learning process using a scientific approach was not carried out effectively during Covid-19, due to time constraints that affected learning outcomes. Therefore, the learning process was carried out using guided discovery and guided inquiry models with buzz group discussion techniques. This study aims to compare student learning outcomes using guided discovery and guided inquiry models with buzz group discussion techniques for acid-base material. This type of research is an experimental study with a randomized posttest-only comparison group design. Samples were taken by random sampling technique, selected class XI IPA 3 as experimental class 1 (guided inquiry) and XI IPA 4 as experimental class 2 (guided discovery). Learning outcomes were obtained from posttest results and data analysis techniques using a t-test. The results of data processing obtained that the learning outcomes in the experimental class 1 (78.38) were higher than the experimental class 2 (74.82) and the t-test analysis was 0.039. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that learning outcomes using guided inquiry and guided discovery models with buzz group discussion techniques for acid-base class XI IPA MAN 1 Bukittinggi were significantly different.

Abstract

This study evaluates the scientific literacy of XI-grade students in understanding science and technology concepts amid rapid technological advances. Scientific literacy is the ability to apply learned concepts to real-world phenomena. A cluster random sampling of 30 students was assessed using a reasoned multiple-choice test. Results showed very inadequate scientific literacy, with an average accuracy of 33.167%. Further analysis classified 34.3% as illiterate, 65.1% as nominally literate, 0.23% as functionally literate, and 0.33% as conceptually literate. These findings highlight the need for improved teaching strategies that emphasize contextual learning and real-world applications to enhance students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat pengaruh model guided inquiry learning dengan flipped classroom pada materi larutan penyangga terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi dan materi penghambat pengetahuan. Jenis penelitian adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Sample penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI IPA 6 salah satu MAN di Kota Padang. Hasil uji Wilcoxon diketahui terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Miskonsepsi pada pretest dan posttest relatif tidak berubah, namun peserta didik yang memahami konsep meningkat dari 6% menjadi 61%. Materi penghambat pada pretest yaitu stoikiometri, persamaan reaksi, dan penentuan komponen penyangga. Sedangkan pada posttest diantaranya kesetimbangan kimia, penentuan komponen penyangga, menghitung pH penyangga, dan menghitung pH penyangga ketika ditambah asam atau basa. Penggunaan model ini memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa, namun tidak memperbaiki miskonsepsi sedangkan materi penghambat cenderung pada konsep yang lebih kompleks dibandingkan sebelum menggunakannya.
