Abstract

Kitosan memiliki sifat antibakteri sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pengawet ikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh dari bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2012, untuk mengisolasi dan mengkarakterisasi  bakteri pada ikan kembung (Rastrelliger sp.) asin berkitosan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif. Dari hasil isolasi didapat enam isolat yang memiliki morfologi koloni dan sel yang berbeda. Isolat yang memiliki bentuk bundar (50%), elevasi cembung (33,3%), tepian licin (50%) warna kuning (66,7%), sel bakteri gram positif (66,7%), bentuk sel bulat (100%), tidak berspora (66,7%) dan bersifat motil (66,7%).

Abstract

Generic medicines are a type of medicine with an official name that has been assigned to the efficacious substance it contains. Generic medicines have the same effectiveness as patented medicines. Many people think that generic medicines are of low quality, so they prefer branded generic medicines or patented medicines. This systematic review aims to report the results of a search for previously reviewed studies that focus on the level of public knowledge and perception of generic medicines. The research method used is a literature study method using journal data from the last 10 years. Journal collection was carried out by searching online journal databases indexed in Google Scholar, and PubMed using Mesh (Medical Subject Headings) with a focus on the keywords "knowledge", "perception", and "generic medicines". The results of this research are that the level of Indonesian people's knowledge of generic medicines is quite good but not evenly distributed, especially among groups of people who have a strong belief that cheap medicines are of lower quality. Acceptance of generic medicines tends to be higher in communities with higher levels of education. Communities with low socio-economic conditions generally have a low level of education so they tend to have greater distrust of generic medicines. This research concludes that it is important to provide information about generic medicines aggressively and continuously to the public to increase public trust in generic medicines. In addition, prescribing generic medicines by physicians is the main thing to eliminate public distrust about generic medicines.

Abstract

Background: Banyuwangi Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia which is rich in beach tourism potential, one of which is Pulau Santen Beach which is located in Karangrejo Village, Banyuwangi District, Banyuwangi Regency. However, when the charm of this destination has decreased, the condition of the beach is dirty if left unchecked and no coastal vegetation is carried out, it can damage the marine biota in the vicinity. There is a need for a Santen Island community empowerment program that reviews conservation and sustainable use in order to meet the 14th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Objectives: Community Service entitled "Zero Waste Movement through Beach Environment Sanitation, Greenhouse Ecobrick Development, and Marine Ecosystem Preservation" aims to increase the knowledge, skills and economic independence of the Santen Island community regarding hiding santigi plants, MSME marketing strategies in tourist attractions, and waste management through making ecobricks. Methods: The method used for the implementation of community service is through several stages including, the first stage in this community service program is the preparatory stage. This preparatory stage consists of three steps, namely an environmental survey, purchasing the right sources, and planning a community service program. The second stage of this community service program is the implementation stage and the third advanced stage of this community service program is evaluation. Results: On the first day, there was an increase in the knowledge of the Santen Island community by 18.8%. On the second day there was an increase in public knowledge of 2.2%, and on the third day with ecobrick material there was an increase in public knowledge of 20.2%. This shows that the material can be well captured by the target of community service activities. Conclusions: This activity is later expected to be a provision for the community to revive the tourism potential on Santen Island, namely edutourism which includes aspects of knowledge about cultivating santigi plants, healthy coastal environments through processing inorganic waste into goods of high economic value (ecobricks) and community economic independence through increasing financial capacity new tourism products for edutourism on Santen Island.

Abstract

Setiap pekerjaan memiliki resiko penyakit akibat kerja (PAK) atau kecelakaan akibat kerja (KAK). Pekerjaan yang melibatkan aktivitas fisik dapat memicu timbulnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs). Kondisi kerja ENASE (Efektif, Nyaman, Aman, Sehat, Efisien) dapat menjadi pertimbangan untuk mengurangi risiko tersebut. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terkait kondisi kerja ENASE dan peregangan otot pada pekerja Pabrik Kertas 101 Losari. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada Oktober 2024 menggunakan pendekatan Service Learning (SL) pada 12 partisipan. Rata-rata setiap pertanyaan indikator ketercapaian pada pre-test sebanyak 2 partisipan dan meningkat pada post-test sebanyak 9 partisipan. Pengabdian ini secara umum mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan pekerja.

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang memiliki dampak sosial dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan keluarga, peran kader kesehatan, dan angka bebas jentik (ABJ) dengan kasus DBD. Metode: Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kuantitatif observasional analitik. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji bagaimana peran kader kesehatan, dan angka bebas jentik mempengaruhi kejadian DBD. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data observasional dengan memperoleh data kasus DBD dan angka bebas jentik di Klinik Azzayiniyah sejunlah 98 responden dengan teknik Purpose sampling, serta menggunakan kuesioner mengenai peran kader kesehatan dengan hasil uji validitas diperoleh r table = 0,312, sedangkan uji reabilias didapatkan nilai alpha cronbach’s 0,933. Hasil uji Teknik statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Korelasi Chi-Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara peran kader kesehatan dengan kejadian DBD, dengan nilai P sebesar 0,000. Angka bebas jentik juga menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian DBD, dengan nilai P sebesar 0,000. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara peran kader kesehatan, angka bebas jentik, dan kejadian DBD.

Abstract

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan motorik siswa dan belum adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran PJOK pada SD Negeri 5 Meteseh. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut adalah pengembangan desain permainan berbasis Adventure Education dalam kemampuan motorik kelas II sekolah dasar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui kevalidan pengembangan desain permainan berbasis Adventure Education dalam kemampuan motorik fase A Kelas II sekolah dasar, 2) Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan pengembangan desain permainan berbasis Adventure Education dalam kemampuan motorik fase A Kelas II sekolah dasar.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain permainan berbasis Adventure Education tersebut mendapatkan hasil penilaian yang diperoleh dari ahli model permainan sebesar 95,76% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”, sedangkan dari hasil penilaian yang diperoleh dari ahli materi sebesar 84,67% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Hasil angket kepraktisan hasil angket tanggapan guru PJOK memeroleh persentase skor “89,23%” dengan kriteria “Sangat Praktis”.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan desain permainan berbasis Adventure Education dalam kemampuan motorik fase A Kelas II sekolah dasar valid, layak dan praktis digunakan

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pemandu wisata melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat.  Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kinerja masyarakat di wisata Air Merah Mungguk. Desa Mungguk memiliki obyek wisata Air Merah, namun masih mengalami kesulitan dalam hal memandu wisatawan yang datang. Hal ini dikarenakan masih minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang memandu wisata. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah survey, sosialisasi, pelatihan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Bentuk-bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat mulai dari proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Program-program yang telah dilaksanakan meliputi sosialisasi sapta pesona dan pelatihan pemandu wisata. Dari kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi terlihat bahwa setelah mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan yang dilakukan, pemahaman warga tentang cara memandu wisatawan meningkat.  Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan pemandu wisata ini meningkatkan kualitas kinerja pemandu wisata di wisata Air Merah desa Mungguk.Abstract: This service activity aims to provide tour guide training through community empowerment. This aims to improve the quality of community performance in Air Merah Mungguk tourism. Mungguk Village has Air Merah tourist attraction, but it still has difficulties in guiding tourists who come. This is due to the lack of public knowledge about guiding tours. The approach used in this activity is survey, outreach, training, monitoring and evaluation. Forms of community empowerment involve community participation starting from the planning process and implementing activities. The programs that have been implemented include socialization of Sapta Pesona and tour guide training. From the monitoring and evaluation activities, it can be seen that after participating in the trainings carried out, the residents' understanding of how to guide tourists has increased. The empowerment of the community through tour guide training can improve the quality of the performance of tour guides in Air Merah, Mungguk village.

Abstract

Pharmacological treatment can also be done by administering drug therapy including the following groups: Thiazedine diuretics, Adrenergic blockers, Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE-Inhibitors), Angiotensin-II-blockers, Calcium antagonists, and Vasodilators. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving cucumber juice and banana juice on reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension at the Pasar Rebo Health Center. The design of this study was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design. This study design used one group pre and post test, only intervening in one group without a comparison. The effectiveness of the treatment was assessed by comparing the post-test value with the pre-test. The results showed that there was a difference in the average blood pressure value before and after being given Cucumber and Banana Ambon Juice with a systolic difference of 19.167 and diastolic 14.444. The results of the statistical test with the Paired T test obtained P Value = 0.000 (<0.05), then h0 was rejected, meaning there was an effect of giving Cucumber Juice and Banana Fruit. The conclusion is that the blood pressure of respondents after being given Cucumber Juice and Ambon Banana was on average for systolic 134.72 mmHg for diastolic 89.44 mmHg.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSDs) is one of the health problems that commonly occurs in factory workers due to repetitive physical activity with heavy loads and unergonomic conditions, with improper manual handling techniques. Manual handling is included in the ergonomics aspect in the context of physical work such as lifting, placing, pushing, and pulling heavy loads. This Community Service aims to provide manual handling education in an effort to prevent MSDs in workers at 101 Losari Paper Factory, Malang, East Java. The method used in this activity is Service Learning (SL) through action research methods in the form of lectures and demonstrations. Evaluation of workers' knowledge level was given a pre-test and a post-test. The increase in knowledge has an average shown from 11.25% to 95%. In addition, participants were able to demonstrate manual handling techniques correctly, which can be seen from the initial achievement of 25% to 83.33%. Thus, the education provided in this activity is able to increase knowledge of the application of manual handling for preventive efforts of MSDs conditions in paper factory workers.

Abstract

Assemblr Studio is a learning media application that is currently being developed for educational purposes in creating or designing 3D animations that are fun and interactive. With the help of this 3D technology, it can encourage students to learn and understand learning. Learning outcomes are an important point that should not be missed in the learning and teaching process because it is the most visible indicator of learning achievement. This study uses a quantitative research approach method with the type of True Experimental Design research (experimental design) and the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research, namely experiments carried out in two groups with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this study is to find out how the learning outcomes of students taught using Assemblr Studio Learning Media affect student learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject of class VIII SMP Sinar Husni and whether there is an influence of Assemblr Studio learning media on student learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject of class VIII SMP Sinar Husni. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results of the analysis concluded that there is a significant influence of Assemblr Studio learning media on learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject of class VIII SMP Sinar Husni.
