Abstract

Abstract“Daodi”, “jiujing” and “bijing” are three modality adverbs which have relevant meaning. In some conditions, these three words are exchangeable, but in some other conditions they aren’t. And for some cases, only between two words are exchangeable, and the other one word is left unexchangeable. Because of their complicated relations, students tend to make mistakes while using these three words. To understand how well the students of Mandarin education study program at Tanjungpura University Teacher Training and Education Faculty Year 2015 master the modality adverbs “daodi”, “jiujing” and “bijing” and to find out the difficulties they have faced while studying these three modality adverbs, the writer has done a test towards the students by using literature study method and evaluation method. The result of the research shows that the students have been able to differentiate the meaning of these three words and have mastered their sentence structure. However, there are some functions of the words which have not being mastered pretty well by the students.keywords : Daodi         Jiujing            Bijing         Mastery Condition

Abstract

AbstractVocabularies teaching is an important part that shape the mandarin language learning, because without it the students not able to express something in chinese language. The teaching of mandarin language covers of three parts ?meanings, pronunciation and word form?. The dificulties in learning mandarin that often happens is recognizing the vocabularies, especialy after the teachers explained it, the students understand the meanings, pronunciation and characters but at test session they can not correctly recognizing the vocabularies. In order to help students get deeper recognizing in chinese characters, the writer did a research. Writer did a test to a 2F students at smp Bruder in order to know their first condition, after that using images to enter characters teaching session in three times meeting. After teaching using this method, writer do a final test to the students. Writer able to know ability of students in recognizing and reading the vocabularies acording first and final test: In choosing chinese characters part of the images incresed 29,5%; choosing pinyin part of the images increased 19%; fill the blank part increased 14,5%. This research shows using images in teaching can help students to improve their ability in recognizing the vocabularies.Keyword : Vocabularies, Images Media, Recognize Vocabularies Teaching

Abstract

AbstractChinese letters have important role in teaching chinese language, and it is also difficult. In teaching and learning proses, the students face many difficulties. This is caused by the differences between Indonesian Language and Chinese language. Indonesian Language uses the alphabet as its letters while Chinese uses scratches/lines and the rule of scratch. The students of Junior High School No. 10 Pontianak (SMPN 10 Pontianak) also had many difficulties in learning Chinese Language. From that problems, the researcher chose the school as the subject to conduct the research using the method of teaching Chinese scratches and its rules.The result of the research shows that percentage of writing Chinese letter had improved. Before the treatment, the percentage of teaching was only 43%, and after the treatment the improvement increased to 63%. This result of the research proves that the method used in this research improves the students' ability in writing Chinese letters.  Keyword : Chinese letters, Scratch, The rule of scratch

Abstract

AbstractGrammar is the rules of how to use words. Grammar is also one of the three elements of language. In Chinese, you will learn  parts of speech such as verb, noun, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction,etc. Each part of speech has its own usage. Many Chinese words have similar meanings, such as "manzu" and "manyi". In learning process, it often leads to language misuse if students are unable to distinguish between two similiar words. The writer conducted a research on the "manzu" and "manyi" of Chinese students of Teachers Training and Education Faculty year 2014 in Tanjungpura University  to analyze and understand the situation of students using these two words. The writer only investigated two types of errors which are errors and mistakes in the wrong order. The writer concluded that the error rate of "manzu" is 38.38% and 26.67% for "manyi", and the common type of errors is the mistake in words usage. In addition, the writer also  concluded that the reason of the error is because the influence in transferring language from the mother language to the target language. Abstract

AbstractNomina Classifier is one of the most commonly classifier that are used in Mandarin, it is also the focused and one of the difficulty in Mandarin teaching. Nomina Classifier such as : “gen”, “tiao”, “zhi” are three words that commonly use in daily life as well. They have similarities and differences in semantics which make students often have errors in the use of Nomina Classifier. The writer analyzestudents errorsused the Nomina Classifier such as : “gen”, “tiao”, “zhi” and find out their causes. From the results of the test, the writer concludes that the error rate of using  “gen”, “tiao”, “zhi” the error rate are : 51,65%, 47,45%, 52,47%. Student use the Nomina Classifier such as : “gen”, “tiao”, “zhi” the reason for the error is the mother tongue and the target language. Abstract

Abstract The words complement the direction of the compound is one form of sentencewhich is often used in mandarin chinese and is an important material in theteaching of mandarin. For exsample, the word complement the direction of thecompound ?guolai?, ?guoqu?, ?chulai?, ?chuqu? which is often used ineveryday life. In terms of its meaning, the fourt of these words have similaritiesand differences, so that students are often wrong in laying the fourth word in thesentence. To understand the condition of mastery of the students of the chineselanguage study frogram of FKIP Tanjungpura University against the said?guolai?, ?guoqu?, ?chulai?, ?chuqu? the authors use the testing method toexsamine the understanding and difficulties of students to the word ?guolai?,?guoqu?, ?chulai?, ?chuqu?. From the results of the study, the authorsconcluded that the percentage of complement the direction of the compound?guolai?, ?guoqu?, ?chulai?, ?chuqu? on the student force 2017 is 68,93%,55,80%, 57,59%, 64,73%. Abstract

AbstractMandarin characters are the smallest scripts used in Chinese writing .In order to write Mandarin characters well, students must learn the basics of writing and sequence of script writing in mandarin. The author after an interview with a teacher at Darul Ulum secondary school, know that many students in the school wrote that the Chinese characters are not good. Therefore the purpose of this study is to know stroke error and sequence of Chinese writing in class XI IPS and XI IPA. According to the author's research also, found that in students XI IPS and XI IPA in the statistical level of stroke writing and sequence of Chinese script writing: more that,espiceally at 2 words?mi,hen?, very many students are wrong in writing strokes and sequence of writing Mandarin characters 90%.Keywords:  Mandarin characters,Strokes, Sequence

Abstract

Abstract Vocabulary is very important in language learning becouse only students who have mastered vocabulary can express their meaning come out. If you don?t learn vocabulary well, you may say something wrong. Using videoscribe makes classroom teaching more convenient, deepen students memory of teaching content, and it is a more interesting way to learn. The purpose of this study is to understand whether the use of videoscribe can improve students mastery in chinese vocabulary. The research used videoscribe in second grade students of Adisucipto High School. The results showed that the comparison between the post-test and the pre-test in the experimental class increased by 47%. Meanwhile, the comparison between the post-test and the pre-test in control class only increased 20%. Thus, we can conclude that the experimental class is better than control class in mastering Chinese vocabulary. In short, using Videoscribe in the teaching-learning process can improve studentsmastery in Chinese vocabulary. Keywords: Mastery, Videoscribe, Vocabolary

Abstract

AbstractCompound directional complement is one of the most commonly syntactic expressions that are used in Mandarin, it is also the focus and the difficulty of Mandarin teaching. The Compound directional complement such as: “xialai”, “xiaqu”, “shanglai”, “shangqu” are four words that commonly use in daily life as well. They have similarities and differences in semantics which make students often have errors in the use of Compound directional complement. The writer of the student of Mandarin education study program at Tanjungpura university teacher training and education faculty academic 2015 used the Compound directional complement such as: “xialai”, “xiaqu”, “shanglai”, “shangqu” to conduct the test, to analyze students errors and find out their causes.  From the results of the test, the writer concludes that students are using “xialai”, “xiaqu”, “shanglai”, “shangqu” the error rate is: 39.90%, 44.19%, 34.34%, 44.44%. Students use the Compound directional complementsuch as: “xialai”, “xiaqu”, “shanglai”, “shangqu” the reason for the error is the mother tongue and the target language.The writer hopes that this thesis can provide teaching basis for Mandarin teachers. Keywords: Compound directional complement, Errors analysis, Reasons for errors

Abstract

AbstractTone is very important in Mandarin, because the tone has the benefit of distinguishing meaning. Mandarin has four tones, and under certain conditions some characters will experience tone changes, for instance tone change of "yi" and "bu". Therefore, students who forget the rules of change of tone will often be wrong in reading it. Therefore, the author used card as media to improve the mastery of the change of tone "yi" and "bu" in the students of class XI Mipa 2 and Mipa 3 of SMA Gembala Baik. Based on the data obtained from the pre-test and post-test, the percentage of students' correctness in working on the problem has increased for 45.5% in multiple using cards is choice and 31% in pronouncing the tone change. The used card as media has proved effective in improving the mastery of the "yi" and "bu" tone changes. For the word "yi", the common mistake was the changing of the first tone to the fourth tone. Meanwhile for word "bu" on the four note meets a four note. The cause of this mistake was  students were often to read the tone using the real tone. Keywords: Tone, Changes tone, ? yi?, ?bu?
