Abstract

Reading texts are an important component of Comprehensive Chinese courses, consisting of words, sentences, phrases and grammar. In learning reading texts, students use translation to understand the meaning and significance of reading texts. Therefore, to produce good translation results and avoid errors, the use of appropriate translation methods is necessary. The author uses a quantitative research method to find out the translation methods used by the 2020 Batch Students of Mandarin Language Education Study Program Fkip Untan in translating reading texts in Chinese Comprehensive courses as well as their results on equivalence and translation errors, with the research instrument used in the form of a test. Based on Newmark's theory of translation methods, the results of data analysis showed that students use four types of translation methods which are, literal (87.2%), wordfor-word (7.2%), communicative (4.2%) and free translation (1.5%). The translation errors made by the students are caused by their lack of ability in interpreting a word, errors in placing the word order and word reduction which makes the meaning of the whole sentence ambiguous. Therefore, students' understanding and mastery of the source language text still need to be improved to avoid translation errors or vocabulary mismatches, and to be able to adjust the translation to the rules or customs of the target language.

Abstract

To understand the process of learning Mandarin in Pontianak Bilingual Kindergarten, the author took Kinderfield Kindergarten and Adicita Mulia Kindergarten as research objects. The research methods used were purpose sampling, interviews and observations. The author will analyze relevant learning materials, learning objectives, learning evaluation, learning environment and learning methods to determine the situation of learning Mandarin in kindergartens in Pontianak. According to the results of data analysis, Mandarin classes are only given once a week at school. Because there is less time to learn Mandarin, the teacher only introduces everyday vocabulary, the aim is for students to understand the meaning of everyday Mandarin vocabulary. Teachers use translation methods, game methods, and object methods to explain vocabulary. Pontianak Bilingual Kindergarten uses various teaching methods to make the class more active, such as using children's songs, playing games together, etc. so that it can increase children's interest in learning and not put too much pressure on children. Students read the vocabulary words one by one and the teacher will evaluate their learning, to see if students have made progress in Mandarin and what help they still need.

Abstract

The teachers, modules, and the students are three important learning characteristica. Modules are the materials for learning and guidance to the students and can add to the students' knowledge which can be in the form of writing, sound, things based on definite scientific aspects and put together into a book. Choosing the suitable module that suits the students is one of the significant responsibilities of the teachers. It is because the selected module can affect the entire learning process."Mandarin Languange Module Of Kristen Immanuel II Sungai Raya Vocational School" is a module that comes from various teaching materials and is collected by local teachers which is compiled into a book, and which is classified as a self-made module. In this thesis through, literacy collection and module content analysis, the strengths and the weaknesses have been understood and identified. Through research and analysis, the author concluded "Mandarin Languange Module Of Kristen Immanuel II Sungai Raya Vocational School" is a module that is not yet fulfilled the provisions, even though in terms of suitability aspects, it is already good. However, in the scientific aspects, use and interest are still not according to the rules. Therefore, the author provided several suggestions for module improvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the government's strategy in empowering small and medium enterprises in North Luwu Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results of the research show that in the process of empowering SMEs with indicators of goals, environment, direction, action and learning as well as supporting and inhibiting factors, the government in Luwu Uara Regency has attempted to empower SMEs in North Luwu . With the aim of improving people's welfare as well as being the driving force of the national economy. Through internal and external environmental factors, namely cooperation and support between the government and business actors, the DP2KUKM government then provides direction, namely by conducting outreach among fellow policy implementing actors and between community policy implementers supported by financial institutions

Abstract

Tujcuan dari peneclitian ini adaclah untcuk menyelidiki: (1) Pengaruch kompbetensi pedagogik guru dan kompetensi profesional terhacdap motivcasi belacjar siswca pada kelas ekocnomi khususnya muatan akuntansi di SMAN 11 Luwu Utara; (2) pengcaruh kompcetensi pedagcogik dan komcpetensi profesiconal guru terhadcap moticvasi belcajar siscwa pada mata pelacjaran yang sama; selanjutnya (3) Faktor manakah yang mempengaruhi motivasi siswa untuk belajar lebih banyak?. Variabel penelitiannya adalah Motivasi Belajar (Y), Kompetensi Pedagogis (X2), Kompetensi Profesional (X1), dan Motivasi Belajar (X2). Populasi penelitian adalah 340 siswa terdaftar di SMAN 11 Luwu Utara yang sedang mempelajari akuntansi dan ekonomi. Decngan mencggunakan teknik proporsional stratified random sampling, sampel diambil sebanyak 77 siswa. Data dikumcpulkan melalui kuecsioner dan dokumecntasi. Dengan menggunakan SPSS 22 for Windows, analisis data menggunakan pengujcian instrumcen, pengcujian asumcsi tradisioncal, dan pcengujian hipotcesis. Temduan penelitian menudnjukkan : (1) Pengaruh baik dan signifidkan secadra simudltan Kompedtensi Pedagodgik Guru dan Kompedtensi Prodfesional terhaddap Modtivasi Bdelajar Siswda; (2) Komdpetensi Profesional Guru secara parsial berpedngaruh podsitif dan sigdnifikan terhadadp Motivasi Belajadr Siswda; (3) Maotivasi Baelajar Siaswa sedikit banyak dipeangaruhi secaara signifiakan dan positif oleh Kompetensi Pedaagogik Guru; dan (4) Di SMAN 11 Luwu Utara, Kodmpetensi Profesiondal mdempunyai pendgaruh yang lebih besar terhadadp Mdotivasi Bdelajar Siswda pada kelas akuntansi dan ekonomi.
