Abstract

AbstractSt. Farnsiskus ASISI Senior high school is the one of private school which has Mandarin subject,  in St. Farnsiskus ASISISenior high there is a difference, not only Tionghoa student but also non Tionghoa students,  such as  dayaknees and the other ethnics, so that the student response  in learning Mandarin is also different.In order to know and understand about the condition of the teaching process in Senior high school St. Fransiskus Asisi, the writer interviewed the headmaster and collected the information through questioner from  teachers and students. The result shows that the problems are mostly come from the students? factors, which is 30.30% of the students dislike Mandarin subject, 52% of the students have the difficulty on pronounciation and Hanzi writting, and only 15.2% of the students think that the teaching method  used at school is not suitable with them.Key words: learning Mandarin, learning condition, teaching factor

Abstract

Abstract?Yizhi? and ?yixiang? are types of time adverb that often found in Mandarin which means ?always, like that? but the usage of those two words are different and generally cannot be use simultaneously. Because of that, when using those two words, errors often occur in the use.To understand the mastery condition of student batch 2015 in the Mandarin Language program of Education Faculty UniversitasTanjungpura toward the words ?yizhi? and ?yixiang? along with the difficulties in learning it, the writer use research test method to collect the research data. Based on the result of the study shows that, when the students learn those words, there are types of the usage of the words that have been mastered , there are also several types of words that have been mastered, and there are also several words that have not been mastered properly. The writer realized that there are some students who not really understand the usage of those two words. Key words: YizhiYixiang, Mastery Condition

Abstract

 AbstractIn Mandarin learning, there are 4 skills which are listening, speaking, reading and writing. Based on the author’s experienced, the most difficult one to learn is writing. The Mandarin script has 3 features, there are shape, pronunciation, meaning, which is clearly different from the Indonesian letters. The author perform a research of analysis on mastering the stroke writing order and the structure of Mandarin characters on students of  Tanjungpura University  class of 2014 by analyzing the reasons and any difficulties students find in learning Mandarin. Based on the results of the research, the authors conclude the difficulties that often found by students of Tanjungpura University class 2014 on learning to write Mandarin characters was because according to students the Mandarin script was very difficult both to recognized and memorized. Based on the results of the research, students of Tanjungpura University class 2014 did not really mastered the writing of strokes and  the structure of Mandarin characters, but the students really mastered the Chinese script structure. The reason of the difficulty in learning mandarin script was because the lack of students in mastering the structure detailed stroke and the order of writing mandarin script. Based on these results, the authors provide some suggestions on learning to write mandarin.Keywords : The stroke order, Chinese script structure, Analysis mastery of writing

Abstract

AbstractHanyu Pinyin  is a recognize letters, as an effective tool for learning Mandarin language. This study aims to improve students' ability to recognize letters in class MAS Raudhatul Ulum 1 Meranti. Hanyu Pinyin teaching process described by the descriptive study, to recognize and read Chinese characters and Pinyin. The results of data analysis showed that the use of Hanyu Pinyin can improve the students' ability to recognize letters. Through the implementation in the classroom, its proved that mastering Hanzi needs intensive training. Therefore we can say that Hanyu Pinyin is one of the important factor to recognize letters/ Hanzi. Keyword  :  Hanyu  Pinyin  teaching  Hanyu  Pinyin ability  to  recognize letters

Abstract

AbstractLearning motivation encourages the inner learning motivation from the students. Its directly encourages the students in learning to get outcomes.   It is not only decide how adults learn, but also decide learning behaviour aim effectiveness and the way to choose the learning method. There were some problems during Mandarin class; the students could not read and write Mandarin's words because the students were not interested to Mandarin, and the students don’t have purpose and motivation to learn. That is why it’s important to increase the students motivation in learning of Mandarin. The subject of this research is 7th grade ( 16 students) and 8thgrade ( 15 students) of SMP Kanaan.questionnaire and interview were used in this study. Therefore, increase the learning motivation of our student in Mandarin Class  is a very important thing. students become more interested to Mandarin Learning Class. The research results showed that most students have a stronger internal motivation; most students have a stronger external motivation. Keywords:  learning    Mandarin     analysis of motivation

AbstractThe Chinese character is a Chinese written form, it is an important forming structure in Chinese lessons of foreign students. According to the students who learn the second language, the Chinese characters are the parts that must also be mastered. In addition, Mandarin characters are difficult to recognize, remember and  write. In this case, to help students understand Chinese characters, the writer carries out a research about The use of association method to improve Abdi Agape students’s skill in recognizing chinese character. After comparing  pre-test and post-test, the researcher found that the use of association method could improve students’ ability in understanding Chinese characters.Keyword : Chinese Character, Association Method, Recognizing Chinese Character

AbstractWhen learning Chinese, many students find it difficult, especially writing Chinese characters. Mandarin characters are part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. For students, Mandarin characters must be mastered in learning Mandarin. But Mandarin characters are very difficult to recognize, hard to write, hard to remember are facts. Even though they had studied for a year and a half, but at the time of his teaching, the teacher found many mistakes when writing Chinese characters, especially in the scratches and scratches. So, the author conducted a study in DARUL ULUM high school class XI with writing method based on sequence. From the results of the analysis, get the conclusion: the use of sequential writing methods to improve the ability to write the stroke sequence of the Chinese characters of DARUL ULUM students. Abstract

AbstractIn vocabulary teaching, adjective is one of the most important types of words. Most of the sentences have adjective. But many students have trouble is learning adjectives. They think the adjectives are difficult to learn and hard to remember. Second grade junior high school of Kemala Bhayangkari students have the same thinking as well. The writer used card method is teaching Kemala Bhayangkari junior high school students in teaching adjective. In order to help student get maximum result, the writer did a research. Writer gave students a test to Kemala Bhayangkari junior high school sudents to know their first condition, after that using card method to get maximum result in three times meeting. After teaching using this method, writer gave a final test to the students. At the time of pretest the result show 45 , after doing research using the card method the increased to 75 . The comparison result shows, learning outcomes using the card method improved significantly, and teaching using the card method got very well respons from student.  Keywords:  Adjectives, Card Method Teaching, Test

Abstract

AbstractVocabulary is one of the most important parts of learning meaning of vocabulary for second language learners, Chinese. Vocabulary includes morphemes, words, phrases and sentences. In linguistic phenomena, some morphemes and word have similar meaning. For example "diu" and "shi". From the classification of Chinese vocabulary, "diu" and "shi" are not the same concepts, and "diu" belongs to words while "shi" belongs to morphemes. In order to understand the mastery of "diu" and "shi" of mastery condition of Mandarin Education Study Program FKIP UNTAN 2016 students, the writer used a test method to examine students understanding and difficulties of the alphabet "diu" and "shi". The results of the study stated that the mastery of students in the alphabet "diu" was better than "shi". The correct rate of "diu" is 65%, while the correct rate of "shi" is only 54%. The writer finds the students haven't totally mastery of "diu" to indicate shelf; put down (idioms), (trends) and have the meaning of leaving and letting go; put down (trends) and "shi" to indicate "uncontrolled" meaning, can be limited to: (yi+shi~) and express with other morphemes to form a fixed case.Keywords: Alphabet, Diu and shi, Condition of Mastery

Abstract

AbstractIn order to speak good Chinese, first of all to master a certain number of words. But for some people the biggest problem is memory. It is easy to forget that the reason may be that students feel difficult for Chinese and lose interest. Because it is not interested, it is easy to forget. In order to solve this problem, the author will use the card method to study thispaper.The author studies the 22 students of the eighth year of the National Junior High School Kecamatan Hulu Sungai. Explore whether the use of card teaching aids can improve students' memory. The author of the pre-test and post-test after the test and post-test results for statistical analysis and analysis.
