Abstract

ABSTRACT Tourism is the biggest sector of Badung's Revenue, therefore it needs to be supported by various activities, especially activities in maintaining the environment as tourism assets in order to survive in the long time. The progress of tourism in Badung Regency also has an impact on the environment, especially from the hospitality industry activities, especially in Kuta Sub-Distric. The problem behind this research is that there are still many hotels in Kuta Subdistrict that do not have space a while saving of hazardous and toxic material waste, lack of supervisory staff from the government. The results of this study illustrate that the monitoring of hazardous and toxic waste carried out has not been effective because of the three approaches to monitoring effectiveness, only the objective approach has the same perception while from the system and stakeholder approaches there are still differences in perceptions seen from the lack of supervisory staff with those supervised , a different and random place of supervision then the hotel is less comperative when it will be monitored and the different ways of stakeholders, which hotel in handling hazardous and toxic material waste. Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the health facilities in Tabanan Regency which is important to supporting development in the health sector is medical personnel. To guarantee its quality, every medical personnels in Tabanan Regency must have a practice license (SIP) and extend it if the practice license has expired as stipulated in Tabanan Regency Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2014 concerning Licensing in the Health Sector. However, there are still many medical personnels who do not have practice license (SIP) or have expired. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the implementation of Tabanan Regency Local Regulation Number 9 of 2014 (Case Study of practice license for Medical personnel in Tabanan Regency) by using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, this research used descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate the implementation of Tabanan Regency Local Regulation Number 9 of 2014 Concerning Licensing in The Health Sector specially practice license for medical personnels in Tabanan Regency has not been running well because communication flow that has not been effective, inadequate resources, and SOPs that has not run optimally Keywords: Implementation, Practice License, Medical Personnel

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Denpasar City One Stop Integrated Licensing and Service Office implements an extension service and re-registers licenses through the Online Licensing Information System (SIPON). This concept is a development of Management Information System that aims to address problems in extension service and re-registers licenses. This research used descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research measures the effectiveness of licensing services through the Online Licensing Information System by measuring the effectiveness of services according to Richard M Steers which consists of goals optimizing, system perspectives, and pressure in terms of employee behavior in the organization. The results of research shows that the effectiveness of licensing services through the Online Licensing Information System (SIPON) has not been maximized. Based on three indicators used to see the effectiveness of services that still encounter several obstacles in each indicator. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Denpasar City Government in this case to protect and manage these facilities has compiled Regional Regulations (Perda). The Denpasar City Regulation includes: Denpasar City Regulation Number 27 of 2011 concerning Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) and Denpasar City Regulation Number 6 of 2001 concerning Building Permits. However, in its implementation there are still many people who have not yet realized the importance of having a Building Construction Permit. Hence, this study aims to find out how the performance of the One Stop Integrated Licensing Service Agency (BPPTSP) and Denpasar Capital Investment concerning Building Permit Services using the method descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and method of literature. Measuring the performance of public bureaucracy using performance indicators according to Dwiyanto (1995), namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, accountability. Abstract

ABSTRACT The existence of LPD in Bali plays a major role in constructing Desa Adat (village). It is because 20% of the profit is allocated to develop the village. To maintain the existence of LPD in Bali, the villagers need to support it and the staff also has to improve their service quality because the service quality can affect the customers’ loyalty.  This study aims to investigate the effect of service quality towards customers’ loyalty of LPD Desa Adat Anggungan. This study is a quantitative study which uses questionnaire technique to collect data. The sample of this study was 98 customers which is gathered by using Slovin pattern. The sampling technique is Accidental Sampling. The instruments of the study were examined using validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique includes descriptive analysis, classical hypothesis testing consisting of normality and heteroscedasticity testing. To investigate the effect of independent variable towards dependent variable, the researcher did a simple linear analysis and to investigate the percentage of the impact caused by the independent variable towards dependent variable, the researcher used coefficient of determination. Hypothesis testing was done using t test. The result of the study shows that the service quality gives positive and significant impact towards customers’ loyalty of LPD Desa Adat Anggungan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Transportation Goverment Agency of Tabanan Regency is the government's institute as the practitioner in improving the quality of transportation services, especially management of parking fees at the public roadside. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that the target and the realization of public roadside parking fees for the last three years (2015-2017) continues to increase. But in the other side, there are still problems in terms of input indicators that need to be addressed such as the quality of human resources and the potential for parking retribution seen from the number of vehicles increasing each year which has implications for the availability of parking spaces. One strategy to improve the performance of the Tabanan Regency Transportation Service in collecting parking fees at the public roadside is the increase in parking rates and the use of electronic parking machines. Abstract

zABSTRACTz Putu Eka Wiryastuti was the first female regent in Bali to lead Tabanan for two periods. The purpose of research that is to be achieved is to know the leadership style of Putu Eka Wiryastuti as the female leader in Tabanan Regency period 2010-2020. This research uses a qualitative method of exploratory with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. Leadership styles are generally divided into authoritarian, democratic and laissez-faire leadership styles. While the distinctive style of women leadership is divided into masculine-feminine and transactional-transformational styles. The results of this research show that the leadership style that was applied by Putu Eka Wiryastuti as the female leader in Tabanan Regency in 2010-2020 period generally more in accordance with the approach of Democcentric leadership with objective features and Women's distinctive leadership style that is more in line with a feminine-transactional approach with a cooperative trait. Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesian education has a system for implementing education aimed at increasing knowledge and being able to grow potential. then there is a fair distribution of the education system. This study aims to describe the performance of the Denpasar City Education and Sports Service in supervising the 2018 zoning system in zones 1 to 4 of secondary schools in the city of Denpasar. Using qualitative methods with techniques, data collection techniques, data analysis techniques and data presentation techniques. The theory is (1) productivity, (2) quality, (3) responsiveness, (4) responsibility, (5) accountability. Results, productivity of the Department of Youth and Sports Education is still considered lacking because it is not optimal, the responsibility of the Office of Education is also felt to be lacking. The quality of services provided by schools must also be considered where schools in this case must be more selective and open to the acceptance of new students. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to understand the performance of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning Office of Denpasar City in handling domestic violence in 2018. The indicators used to examine performance of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning Office of Denpasar City is Dwiyanto’s measurement of performance which are Productivity, Service Quality, Responsivity, Responsibility, and Accountability. The research method used are descriptive qualitative with data collection from observation, interview, and documentation study. The outcome of this research showed that performance of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning Office of Denpasar City in handling domestic violence haven’t been run optimally in 2018. There are still some obstacles that causes domestic violence cases haven’t been handled optimally which are unspecified time period of case-solving, unmaximized access of information because of uncomprehensive socialization, and no responsibility to the society. Abstract

ABSTRACT Village development in PemecutanKaja Village was increased through community and government participation. This was done tozovercomeztheproblemzof poverty in PemecutanKaja Village. The poverty rate in PemecutanKaja Village is the highest in Denpasar, even though it has the largest APBDes. This research is intended to describe the role of community empowerment as an effort to realize development in PemecutanKaja Village. Thiszresearchzwaszconductedzusing qualitative research methods through descriptive approaches such as in-depth interviews. The analysis carried out is based on the theory of development and uses the concept of economic empowerment with indicators in the form of human resources, human resources, capital and infrastructure of production and marketing. Thezresultzofthiszstudy indicate that the village development that has occurred so far is still being carried out unevenly and underdeveloped planning.
