Abstract

Agrotourism is a form of tourism that utilizes agricultural land and supporting facilities to attract visitors. One of the emerging agrotourism destinations in Rasau Jaya Tiga is Taman Inspirasi Strawberry (Strawberry Inspiration Park), which serves as a local agriculture-based tourist attraction. With technological advancements in the agricultural sector, innovations such as the Internet of Things (IoT) a concept that connects physical devices to the internet to automatically collect and exchange data without human intervention have enabled the implementation of automated plant irrigation systems. In this Community Service Program, an IoT-based automatic irrigation system was designed and implemented for strawberry cultivation. The system employs soil moisture and temperature sensors to regulate watering automatically and can be monitored via mobile devices. In addition to system installation, outreach and training sessions were conducted for park managers and participants to ensure proper system operation. The implemented IoT system successfully reduced irrigation time by 53.3% and water consumption by 41.6% compared to manual methods. Participant satisfaction reached 92%, with the highest ratings in the usefulness of the technology and the effectiveness of the training. These findings demonstrate that the application of IoT technology is effective in supporting plant maintenance and enhancing both productivity and the overall appeal of the Taman Inspirasi Strawberry agrotourism site.

Abstract

The use of lights in daily activities is a necessity for everyone. Lights are useful as lighting when the room has minimal light, so lights are needed in the room in the house. If there are many rooms in a house, there are also many lights used. Often users forget to turn on and off the lights in each room if done manually. An automatic control is needed to make it easier for users to turn on and off lights according to user habits. Support Vector Machine is used in this in this study to classify the condition of lights based on user habits when turning on and off the lights. User habit data used for 15 days with a total of 620 data. Testing was carried out for 3 days with a total of 72 data. The results of system testing obtained the accuracy value of kitchen lights by 87.50%, accuracy of main room lights by 95.83%, accuracy of second room lights by 91.67%, accuracy of living room lights by 95.83%, accuracy of terrace lights by 95.83%, and accuracy of toilet lights by 94.44%.

Abstract

Fire is a serious disaster that causes significant losses in terms of both material assets and loss of life, especially in densely populated residential areas. Fires that occur in one house can easily spread to other houses. To prevent this issue, an early fire detection and automatic fire suppression system has been developed for homes based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using NodeMCU ESP32. This system has the ability to detect early signs of fire, gas, and temperature conditions, and takes automatic action when potential fire hazards are detected. Additionally, the system sends real-time push notifications to users' Android applications to provide warning messages. Test results indicate that the fire sensor can detect flames up to a distance of 130 cm with an average notification delay of approximately 2,37 seconds. The MQ-2 gas sensor can detect butane gas up to a distance of 170 cm with an average notification delay of about 2,84 seconds, while the DHT22 temperature sensor has an average accuracy of approximately 98,52% with a notification delay of about 2,03 seconds.

Abstract

Tape ketan merupakan makanan tradisional Indonesia yang umumnya diproduksi secara manual dengan pengawasan berkelanjutan, sehingga memerlukan waktu lama dan tenaga kerja intensif. Proses manual yang mengharuskan membuka dan menutup wadah fermentasi secara berkala, berisiko menyebabkan kontaminasi dan menurunkan kualitas produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan Real Time Operating System (RTOS) pada sistem produksi tape ketan untuk merespons perubahan kondisi secara cepat dan memastikan parameter fermentasi tetap optimal. Perangkat keras yang digunakan terdiri dari sensor uap alkohol, sensor suhu, dan mikrokontroler ESP32, sedangkan perangkat lunak menggunakan firebase real time database dan antarmuka website. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan proses fermentasi tanpa RTOS dan dengan RTOS menggunakan waktu deadline 1000 ms dan interval pengambilan data setiap 1 jam. Komposisi tape ketan terdiri dari 100 gram beras ketan putih dan 1 gram ragi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan persentase performa eksekusi dengan RTOS sebesar 98,53%, sedangkan tanpa RTOS sebesar 79,02%. Penerapan RTOS berhasil mempercepat proses fermentasi tape ketan hingga 12 jam lebih cepat. Implementasi RTOS terbukti efektif meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan kualitas tape ketan.   Kata Kunci - Real Time Operating System (RTOS), Fermentasi, Tape Ketan, Persentase Performa Eksekusi

Abstract

Determining the nutritional status of toddlers is essential for monitoring growth and preventing long-term health problems. Manual assessment requires significant time and is prone to human error; therefore, an automatic detection system based on height and weight parameters is needed. This study aims to develop a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)–based system to detect the nutritional status of children aged 24–60 months, capable of managing task priorities, ensuring timely execution, and preventing race conditions using semaphores. The system employs an ultrasonic sensor to measure height, load cell sensors to measure body weight, and a web-based interface to input gender and age. Nutritional classification is determined through Z-score calculations using WHO reference data. Tests conducted on 200 children in various locations showed that the ultrasonic sensor achieved an average absolute error of 0.39 cm, a relative error of 0.409%, and an accuracy of 99.59%, while the load cell sensor achieved an average absolute error of 0.22 kg, a relative error of 1.587%, and an accuracy of 98.41%. The average execution times for the measurement and Z-score computation tasks were 4014.4 ms and 11.31 ms, respectively. The nutritional status classification results showed accuracy levels of 99.5% for Weight-for-Age (W/A), 99.5% for Height-for-Age (H/A), and 97.5% for Body Mass Index-for-Age (BMI/A) compared with manual assessments. The developed system demonstrated reliable performance in measurement and classification, with results consistent with conventional methods, indicating its potential as an efficient and accurate tool to assist healthcare workers in monitoring toddler nutrition status

Abstract

Buah Jeruk Pontianak merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan hortikultura di Kota Pontianak karena dikenal memiliki cita rasa khas, yaitu manis dengan sedikit asam. Meskipun memiliki popularitas tinggi di pasar lokal maupun ekspor, proses pemilahan kualitas tingkat kematangan buah jeruk Pontianak masih banyak dilakukan secara manual dengan mengandalkan pengamatan visual terhadap warna, pori-pori, dan kondisi kulit. Metode manual ini memerlukan waktu yang lama, bersifat subjektif, serta memiliki tingkat akurasi yang rendah. Padahal, keseragaman warna kulit buah merupakan salah satu standar penting dalam memenuhi permintaan pasar ekspor dan swalayan. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan sistem pemilahan kualitas jeruk Pontianak berdasarkan warna kulitnya. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor warna TCS3200 untuk mendeteksi warna pada jeruk Pontianak, dengan Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai pengendali utama. Perangkat keras yang digunakan terdiri atas LED COB, tiga buah motor servo, konveyor, dan LCD. Hasil pengujian menggunakan 90 buah jeruk untuk setiap kategori tingkat kematangan, yaitu hijau (mentah), hijau kekuningan (setengah matang), dan kuning (matang), menunjukkan bahwa tingkat akurasi pemilahan menggunakan sensor warna TCS3200 mencapai 83,33%. Abstract

Energi listrik berperan vital dalam kehidupan, namun konsumsi yang tidak efisien, khususnya pada pencahayaan, dapat membebani biaya dan sumber daya. Pada ekosistem buatan seperti aquascape, pencahayaan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai estetika tetapi juga krusial bagi kesehatan biota di dalamnya, di mana intensitas yang tidak tepat dapat memicu stres pada fauna dan pertumbuhan alga yang tidak diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem kontrol lampu otomatis hemat energi untuk aquascape menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32 dan sensor LDR. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan logika Rule Based System untuk adaptasi terhadap kondisi cahaya lingkungan dengan kontroler Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) untuk optimasi stabilitas dan kecepatan respons. Parameter PID ditentukan menggunakan dua metode, yaitu Ziegler Nichols Open Loop dan Closed Loop, untuk kemudian dibandingkan performa dari kedua metode tersebut. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa metode Ziegler Nichols Closed Loop memperoleh nilai sehingga memberikan kinerja yang jauh lebih optimal dibandingkan metode Open Loop yang nilainya relatif kecil dengan nilai . Sistem yang dihasilkan dari metode Closed Loop terbukti lebih cepat mencapai target dan mampu mengoreksi error secara cepat, sehingga berhasil menciptakan sistem pencahayaan yang adaptif dan stabil.

Abstract

Pengembangan dan sosialisasi website Sistem Informasi Desa Punggur Kecil bertujuan untuk menyediakan media informasi yang efektif bagi masyarakat Desa Punggur Kecil, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dengan berfokus pada pembangunan website yang berfungsi sebagai pusat informasi desa, mencakup berbagai aspek antar lain profile desa, informasi public, informasi kegiatan, dan transparansi dana desa. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pertemuan dengan kepala desa untuk membahas rencana pembuatan sistem informasi dan pelaksanaan sosialisasi. Setelah didapatkan kebutuhan menu website yang dibutuhkan, dibangun website sistem informasi Desa Punggur Kecil. Setelah itu, dilaksanakan sosialisasi penggunaan website di lingkungan desa Punggur Kecil. Sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 Juli 2024 di Aula Kantor Desa Punggur Kecil dari jam 13.00 WIB. Tujuan dari sosialisasi ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan dan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai penggunaan dan manfaat website. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 23 peserta, diantaranya pegawai kantor desa, ketua RT, BPD, dan masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta dapat memahami fungsi dan cara mengakses website dengan baik. Kegiatan PKM ini telah berhasil memperkenalkan teknologi informasi yang berguna untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan desa.

Abstract

Used cooking oil is cooking oil that has been used repeatedly, causing its quality to deteriorate and potentially harm human health. Many people continue to use used cooking oil due to cost-saving considerations and the difficulty of directly assessing its quality. Therefore, a system capable of determining the suitability of used cooking oil is needed. This research aims to classify the suitability of used cooking oil based on clarity, viscosity, and color parameters using the Naïve Bayes method. The classification system utilizes an LDR sensor to detect clarity levels, a YF-S401 water flow sensor to measure viscosity, and a TCS3200 color sensor to read RGB values, with a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller as the processing unit. The test results show that the LDR sensor successfully detects clarity levels, the YF-S401 sensor achieves an accuracy of 97.73%, and the TCS3200 color sensor reads RGB values with accuracies of 99.85% for red, 97% for green, and 83% for blue. The dataset used in this study consists of 120 training samples and 30 test samples. The classification process using the Naïve Bayes method produced an accuracy of 96.67%, a precision of 94.74%, and a recall of 100%.
