Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the quality of MA Arabic textbooks for class XII published by the Ministry of Religion and Erlangga, based on BSNP standards, namely: content aspects, presentation aspects, language aspects and graphic aspects. This research using qualitative content analysis to analyze textbooks Arabic. The steps taken are the formulation of the analysis objectives,Data grouping, assessment of the percentage component items of each subcomponents and aspects of feasibility and data analysis. The results of the study are Arabic textbooks published by the Ministry of Religion from the content feasibility component have a very good category, in terms of the presentation component in the good category, the linguistic component in the good category and the last component in terms of the graphic of this book has a very good quality. Arabic text book published by PT. Erlangga seen from the four components of the BSNP standard has very good quality, in terms of content, presentation, language and graphics. Comparison between the two books, the Arabic textbook published by PT. Erlangga is superior to Arabic textbooks published by the Ministry of Religion in terms of presentation and linguistic aspects. In terms of content and graphic aspects, the two books have a balanced quality.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesian society adheres to Islam, with the Qur’an and the Sunnah serving as the main sources of guidance in daily life. Understanding these two sources requires proficiency in the Arabic language. However, not all Islamic educational institutions have an active Arabic-speaking environment. This community service program was conducted at Pesantren DDI Mattoangin Bantaeng and involved 30 participants consisting of male and female students. The program aimed to support Arabic language learning in order to improve students’ vocabulary mastery and their ability to use Arabic in daily communication. The activities were implemented through a direct mentoring approach packaged in the form of an Arabic Language Village, a learning model that had never been applied in the pesantren before. The results indicate significant improvements in daily vocabulary acquisition, pronunciation fluency, and speaking confidence, as reflected in increased student participation in dialogues, competitions, group conversations, and the use of Arabic within the dormitory environment. The program also had a positive impact on students’ motivation and attitudes toward learning Arabic. Therefore, this Arabic language mentoring program proved effective in creating an active and communicative language environment and is worthy of being developed sustainably to support the improvement of students’ Arabic language competence in the future.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengetengahkan mengenai ayat-ayat takrār d dalam Juz ‘Amma suatu  tinjauan  Bala>gah, dalam konteks bentuk-bentuk takrar. Penelitian ini dapat dikatagorikan ke dalam penelitian kepustakaan (libraryresearch). Sumber data primer mencakup buku-buku bala>gah, linguistik, mu’jam-mu’jam leksikal bahasa Arab yang diangap standar, kitab-kitab tafsir, dan bahan-bahan tertulis lainnya yang representatif yang ada relevansinya dengan penelitian. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan interdisipliner dalam penelitian ini, mengingat bahwa ilmu balagah memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan sejumlah sub disiplin ilmu kebahasaan, meliputi ilmu nahwu, s}arf, semantik, linguistik, tafsir, dan sebagainya. Sedangkan pendekatan bala>gah dijadikan sebagai pedoman untuk melihat pola perubahan komunikasi dalam sebuah alur pembicaraan dan efek makna yang ditimbulkan. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan tehnik-tehnik survey kepustakaan, studi literatur, membaca ayat-ayat al-Qur’an secara berulang-ulang, mencatat ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang dianggap takār dan letaknya dalam surah dan nomor ayat, dan mengumpulkan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang ada pada Juz ‘Amma (Juz 30) yang mengalami perulangan (takrar). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ayat-ayat dalam al-Qur’an yang mengalami perulangan (takrar) ternyata mengandung banyak bentuk takrar, Faedah takrar, makna takrar,  dan ide terpenting di dalamnya yang harus dipahami oleh manusia. Takrar pada dasarnya menunjukkan sebuah kata atau kelompok kata yang mendapat perulangan itu dianggap penting, karena merupakan fikiran inti yang harus lebih ditonjolkan dari unsur-unsur teks yang lain. Bentuk-bentuk takrar  yang banyak didapati dalam al-Qur’an adalah pada kisah-kisah.

Abstract

This paper discusses the dynamics of the establishment of Islamic boarding schools in the minority areas of Jayapura City. This research method is a qualitative research with the approach used is the phenomenological approach and scientific approaches in the form of sociological and historical. The source of the data of this research is the boarding school caretakers, religious teachers, students, community leaders, traditional leaders, coaches, mentors, educators, and the community. Furthermore, the data collection methods used are observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. The next stage is data processing techniques and data analysis is done through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that there are three concepts that become the dynamics of the establishment of huts in minority areas, namely: 1) History of its establishment including: there are indications of apostasy in remote areas of transimigration in Jayapura and Keerom Papua, the assumption of the Islamization of the majority of people in Jayapura, the existence of mosques which is very quiet from the pilgrims, the assumption of Islamic boarding schools as a stronghold of Muslims, and the assumption that Islamic boarding schools print human resources with a radical mindset, the involvement of traditional leaders. 2) Institutional development, including: formal and non-formal education. 3) Contributions of Islamic boarding schools include: the social religious field, the field of religious harmony, and the cultural field based on local wisdom.
