Abstract

This study aims to determine the school development strategy adopted by Elkisi High School. Quality of Human Resources is the main key / mastermind in the strategy of developing the quality of human resources. Elkisi High School develops school development strategies by implementing a number of strategies, namely developing the quality of human resources, management and institutional modernization. School development is one way to improve the quality of education, in which schools are given the authority and freedom to design, manage and regulate their own schools to become quality and quality schools but still but still bound to National Standard of Education (SNE) adjusted to the curriculum .

Abstract

Educators determine the success of an education because they are as central figure in learning. Educators who have good pedagogical competence will be able to understand what is needed and desired by students in the learning process. Therefore, educators are required to improve the quality and the performance of education. This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogical competence on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, and the influence of pedagogical competence and work motivation on teaher performance in Muhammadiyah Junior High School 4 Gempol. This type of research is quatitative research methods. In this study the data collection techniques used are, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The results of this study are that if educators have good pedagogical competence and high work motivation, then the performance of educators will be optimized in a comprehensive manner and more quickly achieved in improving the quality of education. And vice versa, if educators do not have poor pedagogical competence and low work motivatoin, the teacher's performance is said to be poor or not qualified.

Abstract

Suprvision isa series ofsupervisory activities carried out by a supervisor or headmaster on teacher performance, supervision activities at PAUD level have been regulated in Permendikbud No. 137 of 2014 concerning National Standards for PAUD implementation,but inreality not all PAUD institutions carry out supervision activities according to government policy,so the purpose of this study was to determine the urgency of supervision to improve theacher performance in Al Muttaqin Plus PAUD. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with participatory observation data collection techniques. And data analysis techniques using data reduction. Based on results and discussion in this study, it was found that the supervision activities carried out by the school principal hada positive impact on the performance of PAUD Al Muttaqin Plus teachers.

Abstract

This aim of this study is to analyze and describe how the principal's performance as a supervisor in improving teacher professionalism. Begin from the supervision plan, implementation of supervision, and follow-up and evaluation carried out by the principal. This study used qualitative as the method of this research, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted at SDN Wadungasih 2. Research subjects included principals and teachers. Analysis is done by reducing data. The results of the study show that: (1) The Supervision, which is carried out by the principal is only done once a year, (2) The Supervision begins with the plan of the form of making programs that have been prepared at the beginning of the semester (3) The Supervision is divided into two stages namely, administrative supervision and supervision at the time of learning activities no follow-up is given after the supervision ends.

Abstract

This study aims to explain in depth the principal's strategy in forming the religious character of students: a case study in Muhammadiyah 1 Primary School, Sedati, Sidoarjo. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data sources were taken from the principal, teachers, employees, students, parents of students and the general public. Data collection tools include interviews, observations, and documentation. From the results of the study illustrate that the Religious Character Building of Students in Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati Elementary School, Sidoarjo includes: (a) Al Qur'an Reading and Writing Program (BTQ) (b) Tahfidh Al Quran Learning Program (c) Implementation of Dhuhur and Asr Prayer (d) ) Customizing Smile Greetings and Shaking Hands (e) Learning ISMUBA curriculum (f) Commemoration of Islamic Holidays (PHBI) (2) The principal's strategy in building the religious character of students is manifested in religious cultured school programs in Muhammadiyah Elementary School 1 Sedati, Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Character education in the 2013 curriculum aims to improve the quality of the process and educational outcomes that lead to the formation of character and noble character of students in full, integrated, and balanced in accordance with the standard competence of graduates in each educational unit. Forming good character is the primary obligation of an educator. Based on the description above, researchers conducted an analysis of character education in the 2013 curriculum to shape the moral awareness of education in schools through qualitative research. From the interviews conducted, the results obtained from the character values ​​embedded in the school are honesty.

Abstract

The qualitatif research about implementation of education has been applied through discipline coaching of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo on December 2nd until 4th, 2019. This research objective is the implementation on character education of discipline coaching of students at Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Sidoarjo. The research method is qualitative research. The result of this research are: (1) discipline coaching management are divided into two strategies, which are internal coaching and external coaching, (2) discipline coaching school strategy can be applied through extraculicular activities, spiritual activities, habitual activities, uniform and attributes allowed, rules of time to come and leave the school, the lateness of the students, manner in school relationship, clean and order, following flag and celebration ceremony, and (3) external coaching strategy through parents and society cooperation, (4) the percentage of students lateness was 10% descend, the percentage of inappropriate uniform was 23% descend, also the percentage of students absence without permission was 88% descend at education year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Santri leadership patterns (people studying the teachings of Islam in Islamic boarding schools) in organizing are essential. The effectiveness of the activities of a pesantren related to santri is very much determined from the leadership pattern of the santri in the existing organization at the pesantren. So this study aims to determine the leadership style of students in a good pattern. Leadership is an attempt by someone to recognize and motivate their members to carry out a process to achieve the goals carried in a group or organization. The leader is functioned to formulate structural objectives and processes, ensure the integrity of the members, solve joint problems and follow up on the results of the evaluation. The organization itself is a unity of several people formed to achieve certain goals together. Organizational success depends on 4 things: (1) Planning, (2) Arrangement, (3) Reporting and (4) Supervision. This study uses a qualitative method that is collecting data in the form of words and understanding of the observations. This type of research is descriptive, the research serves to describe the pattern of leadership of students in organizing in the Islamic Union Islamic School (PERSIS) Bangil. From the results of the study, the santri leadership pattern in organizing in the PERSIS pesantren is a democratic leadership pattern, namely leadership that makes members as a team, deliberates on decisions and conveys work tasks in control and supervision. And this democratic leadership is oriented to faith and piety, good character and role models from the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

The improvement of elementary school library services is very important especially to increase interest in reading, the limited availability of elementary school librarians has an impact on the need for cooperation to improve library services with mier ambassador friends namely library staff partners from the elements of students who have a hobby of reading. The purpose of this collaboration is to optimize the potential of school library services. Forms of cooperation undertaken include to improve the implementation of library activities programs, library promotion, reading habits habituation, reaward reading and fostering collection. This descriptive study uses a qualitative approach. The observation guide was made as a research instrument to collect data relating to the effectiveness of the collaboration of library staff and friends of Ambassador Ambassador to the increased interest in reading readers. The results of this study indicate that the library of SD Muhammadiyah 3 IKROM Wage really needs to collaborate with friends of Ambassador Ambassador to improve school library services

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze how the management of TPQ institutions in improving al-Qur'an education in TPQ Ar Rahmah wal Barokah Surabaya. This type of research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data obtained in the field, analyzed through three stages, namely: (1) the data reduction stage, (2) the data presentation stage, (3) the conclusion drawing stage. The results of the research on the management of the TPQ institution in improving al-Qur'an education at TPQ Ar Rahmah wal Barokah can be said to be good, this can be seen from (1) the analysis of the management indicators of the TPQ Ar Rahmah wal Barokah institution that has been managed which consists of a) elements agency management includes: 1) man (HR); 2) money (funds); 3) machines (machines); 4) methods (method); 5) materials (sarpras); 6) market (marketing); b) the management functions of a well-managed TPQ institution consist of: 1) Planning; 2) organizing; 3) implementation; 4) supervision. Meanwhile, the obstacles to the management of TPQ institutions in improving Qur'anic education at TPQ Ar Rahmah wal Barokah Surabaya are, among others: (a) The organizing function has not been fully implemented; (b) The passing standard of students can only be measured by the munaqis of the institution, namely the head and internal of the institution.
