Abstract

This study explores the role of school principals in the supervision process to enhance certified teacher performance at MIN 1 and MIN 5 Pidie Jaya. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that effective supervision involves three key components: (1) Planning: Principals collaborate with teachers to establish structured schedules, clear goals, and suitable techniques for accurate performance assessments, fostering a supportive environment that boosts teacher performance. (2) Implementation: Supervision is carried out through the use of assessment instruments, class observations, and evaluation of teaching materials and learning outcomes, complemented by regular guidance and motivation. (3) Evaluation: Principals provide structured feedback and follow-up actions, such as improvement plans and additional training, to facilitate teachers’ professional development. The study concludes that the successful implementation of planning, execution, and evaluation in the supervision process at MIN 1 and MIN 5 Pidie Jaya significantly enhances teacher performance and contributes to improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Kemampuan Koneksi matematis salah satu bagian yang penting dalam proses belajar mengajar matematika yang harus dimiliki oleh para peserta didik untuk membantu mereka menyelesaikan berbagai masalah. Namun, fakta bahwa kemampuan ini masih rendah di kalangan siswa menunjukkan bahwa ada cara yang baik untuk meningkatkannya. Penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah—juga dikenal sebagai problem based learning—dapat diterapkan di dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapun Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana model pembelajaran ini dapat membantu siswa dalam peningkatan kemampuan pengkoneksian matematis mereka. Metode campuran digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari semua siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Aceh Barat, termasuk siswa MIA 1. Siswa memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis yang sedang atau rendah, menurut hasil N-Gain. Dari hasil penganalisaan data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematika pada peserta didik, meskipun belum sepenuhnya memenuhi semua indikator yang ada.

Abstract

Nilai rata-rata nasional untuk Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK) matematika tingkat SMP/MTs tiga tahun terakhir (2017, 2018, dan 2019, di mana tahun 2020, 2021, dan 2022 UNBK ditiadakan) masih berkisar 50 ke bawah yang mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa masih rendah. Sedangkan Habits of Mind (HoM) matematis adalah salah satu kemampuan afektif yang merupakan faktor pendukung keberhasilan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh crossword puzzle matematika terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan tingkat habits of mind matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix methods dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IX MTsN Model  Banda Aceh. Sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, sehingga siswa kelas IX-2 terpilih sebagai sampel. Selanjutnya data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan angket HoM matematis yang telah divalidasi isi dan konstruk oleh pakar, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t melalui SPSS dan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh crossword puzzle matematika terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa; dan (2) tingkat Habits of Mind (HoM) matematis siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media crossword puzzle matematika dalam kategori sangat baik. Media crossword puzzle matematika tidak hanya dapat didesain dengan menggunakan butir pertanyaan-pertanyaan, namun dapat juga didesain dalam bentuk butir gambar, seperti gambar bidang datar, bangun ruang, dan lainnya.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to examine Return on Equity (ROE) and Earning Per Share (EPS) on stock prices. The population in this study are all companies in the sector of non-primary Consumer Goods E512 in the Hotel, Resort, and Cruise Ship Sub Sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period. The sumpling technique used is the non-primary Consumer Goods E512 in the Hotel, Resort, and Cruise Ship Sub Sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period and which publishes financial reports annually. Based on criteria used, the number of symples taken werw 14 companies. This study uses multiple liniear analysis using the SPSS ver.26 application. The results of the study show that: 1) Return on Equity (ROE) has no significant negative effect on stock prices; 2) Earning Per Share (EPS) has no significant negative effect on stock prices; 3) Return on Equity (ROE) and Earning Per Share (EPS) hav no significant negative effect on stock prices. The coeficienct of determination of 0.038 or 3.8% indicates that the dependent variable is stock prices, While the rest 96.2% is influenced by other factors which are considered fixed and not included into this research.Keywords: Return on Equity, Earning Per Share and Stock Prices.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Return on Equity (ROE) dan Earning Per Share (EPS) terhadap harga saham. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor Barang Konsumsi non primer E512 Sub Sektor Hotel, Resort, dan Kapal Pesiar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021. Teknik sumpling yang digunakan adalah Barang Konsumsi non primer E512 Sub Sektor Hotel, Resort, dan Kapal Pesiar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021 dan menerbitkan laporan keuangan setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan kriteria yang digunakan, jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 14 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS ver.26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Return on Equity (ROE) berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham; 2) Earning Per Share (EPS) berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham; 3) Return on Equity (ROE) dan Earning Per Share (EPS) tidak berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap harga saham. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,038 atau 3,8% menunjukkan bahwa variabel terikatnya adalah harga saham, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 96,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang dianggap tetap dan tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.Kata Kunci: Return on Equity, Earning Per Share, dan Harga Saham.

Abstract

AbstactThis research aims to assess how employee diff and financial distress relate to earnings management, as well as the relationship between litigation risk mediating the influence of employee diff and financial distress on earnings management in manufacturing companies. The samples obtained in this research were 80 manufacturing companies that were able to publish their financial reports consecutively from 2019 to 2021. The research used panel data so that data processing was carried out using the eviews application. Then, after successfully selecting the model in substructure I and substructure II, the results of research in substructure I show that the variables employee diff (X1) and variable risiko litigasi (Z) has no effect on variable manajemen laba (Y). The Sobel test was carried out to assess the mediation relationship, the results showed that variable risiko litigasi (Z) was unable to mediate the influence of variable employee diff (X1)  or variable financial distress (X2) on variable manajemen laba (Y).Keyword: Employee Diff, Financial Distress, Manajemen Laba, Perusahaan Manufaktur Era Covid-19, Risiko LitigasiAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai bagaimana hubungan employee diff dan financial distress terhadap manajemen laba, juga hubungan risiko litigasi memediasi pengaruh employee diff dan financial distress terhadap manajemen laba pada perusahaan manufaktur. Sampel yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 perusahaan manufaktur yang mampu mempublikasikan laporan keuangannya secara berturut-turut dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan tahun 2021. Penelitian menggunakan data panel sehingga pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi eviews. Kemudian setelah berhasil pemilihan model pada pada sub struktur I dan substruktur II hasil penelitian pada substruktur I menunjukkan bahwa variabel variabel X1 dan variabel X2 secara parsial maupun simultan tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel Z, sedangkan pada substruktur II X1 berepengaruh terhadap variabel Y, variabel X2 dan variabel Z  tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y. Uji sobel dilakukan untuk menilai bagaimana hubungan mediasi, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa varibael Z tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh variabel  X1 maupun variabel X2 terhadap variabel YKata Kunci: Employee Diff, Financial Distress, Manajemen Laba, Perusahaan Manufaktur Era Covid-19, Risiko Litigasi

Abstract

Literacy is essentially the ability of a person to read and write. Knowledge cannot be solely provided by teachers. Therefore, students are expected to be able to explore and seek knowledge and information from various sources to enrich their understanding. In Indonesia, there is still a weak understanding of multiple texts, or, in other words, a lack of comprehension of information. This indicates that the reading and writing literacy skills of Indonesian students are below the global average, especially in the current digital era. Recognizing this situation, the community service team consisting of permanent lecturers from University Muhammadiyah Aceh and I would like to develop reading and writing literacy at Baitul Arqam Islamic Boarding School Aceh Besar. This community service project began on February 19, 2023, and continued indefinitely. The target audience of this project was all middle school-level students. The method used in this community service project was community-based research (CBR), utilizing action research and participatory research approaches. Through guidance and support, the outcome was a book titled "Aku Menulis Aku Berdaya", which consisted of writings by the students of Baitul Arqam. The implications of the service outcomes can strengthen cooperation with neighborhood educational institutions and madrasas to increase the impact of this program, develop more materials and content specifically geared toward students’ literacy needs, including materials based on religion and culture, involve parents and guardians of students in the learning process to support literacy practices in the home environment, and periodically monitor the literacy development of students

Abstract

Prayer can serve as a valuable component of mathematical education, especially in Islamic schools, based on the constructivist learning theory. Utilizing community-based research methods, such as action and participatory research, fosters self-awareness and conflict resolution. Through prayer, students can engage in mathematical concepts like counting and multiplication by observing actions like bows and prostrations. Media supplements, such as a ball count, can enhance learning. Contextual notions of school mathematics are evident in prayer, such as adding and multiplying natural numbers, understanding sets, arithmetic sequences, and geometry concepts like lines, angles, and parallelism. For instance, the number of prayer units illustrates adding natural numbers, while the tahajjud prayer exemplifies multiples of two. Moreover, the congregation's rows during group prayer demonstrate line segments and parallel lines, while the standing position showcases various angles. These connections highlight the relationship between prayer and mathematics, offering unique insights into both disciplines. Integrating prayer into mathematical education not only enriches students' understanding but also fosters a holistic approach to learning.
