Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif desain Studi Kasus untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi pembelajaran kontekstual untuk meningkatkan sikap kritis siswa pada pembelajaran Fiqh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi non partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pola analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga alur kegiatan yang saling terkait, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk mengecek keabsahan dan kredibilitas data, dilakukan triangulasi metode, yaitu membandingkan data hasil observasi dengan data hasil wawancara serta membandingkan data hasil wawancara dengan data hasil dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran kontekstual dilakukan guru dengan 5 cara, yaitu: 1) pembelajaran berbasis masalah, 2) menggunakan konteks yang beragam, 3) mempertimbangkan kebhinekaan siswa, 4) memberdayakan siswa belajar sendiri, dan 5) belajar bekerja sama dengan teman. Kelima metode pembelajaran kontekstual tersebut diimplementasikan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran. Namun dari kelima cara tersebut, hanya cara ke-empat yang terbukti dapat meningkatkan sikap kritis siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan beberapa perilaku, seperti menunjukkan rasa ingin tahu yang cukup besar dengan melontarkan banyak pertanyaan dan pendapat pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung, siswa berpikir terbuka dengan menemukan permasalahan baru yang tidak terdapat dalam buku, berani bertanya dan bertukar pendapat dengan temannya, serta saling berbagi pengalaman. . Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyse the views, attitudes and approaches of PAI teachers in the teaching of fiqh materials in madrasas.  The research was conducted using a qualitative approach based on a phenomenological research design. The data was collected through in-depth interviews with Fiqh teachers at Madrasah Aliyah. Moreover, the researchers employed the utilisation of documented textbooks utilised by the teaching staff. Additionally, questionnaires were distributed via Google Form. It was therefore concluded that the majority of Fiqh teachers in Mojokerto adhere to a moderate religious outlook. The teachers employed three distinct approaches in the teaching of puritan fiqh. Firstly, the contextual approach was assumed to be effective in fostering a moderate character and a liberal outlook in students. Secondly, the textual approach may result in students developing a fundamentalist perspective. Thirdly, the integration of textual and contextual approaches can influence students’ perspectives to be moderate based on wasathiyah principles. By having moderate views and attitudes and supported by the integration of contextual and textual approaches, a moderate perspective can be formed in students. Furthermore, this research rejected the hypothesis that Islamic Religious Education can create puritanical Islamic teaching. It also rejected the claim that the radicalisation process was carried out through madrasa.

Abstract

This service program aims to assist teachers to have the ability to detect the religious views and attitudes of students and to implement religious moderation learning in class. The steps for implementing the program include a) Introduction by conducting a needs analysis for the implementation of assistance; b) Implementation of the program by strengthening the teacher's ability to detect students' religious moderation issues and implementing religious moderation learning in class. Program implementation activities are carried out by means of intensive discussions in group discussion forums (FGD), delivery of workshop materials, and assistance in the implementation of religious moderation learning; the last activity is c) assessment and writing of service results reports. The service program with these steps has proven to be successful in achieving the planned goals. This is shown by the following indicators: 1) The teacher shows quite high enthusiasm in the discussions at the FGD forum; 2) The teacher's knowledge and ability to detect students' religious moderation issues, as well as the implementation of religious moderation learning, has proven to increase when compared between before the implementation of the service program and after the program implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of utilizing the internet as a learning resource for Islamic Religious Education at SMK PGRI Sooko Mojokerto. The negative impact encountered in the use of the internet as a learning resource is that students become lazy to read books, more lazy to look in books because there is easy access on the internet, students can later misuse the internet outside the context of learning such as playing games to open other applications that have nothing to do with learning Islamic religious education. The positive impact is for teachers to be more practical to find teaching materials, provide material via the internet web and for students the positive impact makes it easier for them to find material and search for answers on the internet to add new insights and knowledge, because internet access and facilities in the form of wifi are adequate, it is hoped that this internet utilization can be used optimally and in these users the teacher must pay attention or accompany so that there will be no abuse of excessive internet use..

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning for students with special needs at SLB Negeri Seduri Mojokerto by focusing on three main aspects, namely the characteristics of the students who participate in the program, the learning objectives to be achieved, and the learning strategies used by teachers in the implementation process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with school principals, Islamic religious education teachers, and special assistant teachers, direct observation of learning activities, and documentation review. Data analysis was carried out by the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, while the validity of the data was tested through the source triangulation technique. The results of the study showed that the students involved in the tahfidz program were students with visual impairment, physical disability, and mild intellectual, with the dominance of visually impaired students because their learning characteristics were more in accordance with auditory and tactile methods. The purpose of tahfidz learning is not only directed at the achievement of memorization, but also at strengthening faith, forming morals, and internalizing spiritual values in daily life. The learning strategies applied include daily routine deposits, talaqqi and tikrar methods, the use of audio murottal, the use of Braille Qur'an, and digital media support such as Qur'an pens. Evaluations are carried out flexibly taking into account the individual abilities of the students. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the success of the tahfidz program is influenced by the suitability of the strategy with the characteristics of the students, the clarity of learning objectives, and the synergistic support of teachers, parents, and the school environment as the main supporting factors.

Abstract

This research is a results description conducted to describe the social problem at the Melekan Manten event and the role of Mudin in reducing the social problem at the Melekan Manten event through Khataman al-Qur'an. The research is carried out by going directly into the field to investigate phenomena that appear in the real-life context. The process is by constructing phenomena based on the  obtained data and critical evaluation based on relevant theories so that the essence of events can be found to be compared to other data and with relevant theories so that their validity, robustness and suitability can be tested and concluded. The study results concluded that the social problem in the Melekan Manten event in Delik and Kedungmaling, Mojokerto, namely playing cards, betting dice and dominoes, and drinking alcoholic beverages until drunk. The role of Mudin in reducing the ill behavior of the society is to implement da'wah management through a cultural approach. The role carried out is the role of community leader and spiritual leader to invite the youth to make Khataman al-Qur'an tradition at every Melekan Manten event.

Abstract

Teachers not only serve as transmitters of academic content but also play a vital role as moral and ethical guides for students. This study aims to describe and evaluate the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in developing religious activities. The background of this study is based on the strategic role of IRE teachers in shaping students’ religious character through well-organized religious activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of what is happening in the field. This research employs a case study approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the strategy of habituating students to participate in religious activities such as collective prayers conducted by visiting students’ homes has been effectively implemented. This success is supported by the collaboration among teachers, the school, and parents. The strategy has proven to increase student engagement in religious activities and strengthen the development of religious character. The study recommends innovation in the types of activities and improvement in supporting facilities to further optimize students’ spiritual development. This study shows that the strategy of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in developing religious activities is carried out through the planning and implementation of a joint prayer program. This strategy includes stages of discussion among teachers, program determination by the principal, and structured implementation of activities. The primary objective of these activities is to strengthen students' religious foundations, improve the fluency of reciting istighotsah and tahlil, and seek smoothness ahead of exams. Additionally, these activities serve as a means for the school to introduce itself to the surrounding community, with the primary target being ninth-grade students. The positive impacts of this program include the smooth conduct of exams and good student graduation rates, an increase in the number of new students each year, and improved school image and relations with the community.

Abstract

The teaching of classical books (Kitab Kuning) is a tradition of pesantren education that has lasted a long time. The teaching aims so that students and Muslims can implement the teachings contained in classical books in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to reveal the paradoxical problems faced by santri and Muslims regarding the differences between the content of classical books and their daily application. This research focuses on pesantren Kyai in Mojokerto regarding this paradoxical problem, which is a determining factor in the style and variety of pesantren education management. This study used qualitative methods. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. This study's results indicate that Kyai pesantren's notions in Mojokerto can be categorized in the textual-moderate category with the characteristics that they cannot accept the contextual interpretation of Islamic law and tend to be textual. However, this attitude does not encourage Kyai to impose Islamic law and does not force the form of an Islamic state. The education style that results from this notion is that pesantren education tends to be closed and does not accept religious values changes. However, it is open and accepts changes in general education by opening formal educational institutions. This study provides an overview of the style of pesantren education and the factors that influence it.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital yang pesat telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap interaksi edukatif antara siswa dan guru. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan gadget terhadap interaksi edukatif siswa dengan guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Mojokerto. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional, data dikumpulkan dari siswa dan dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget di kalangan siswa berada pada tingkat sedang, sementara interaksi edukatif dengan guru berada pada tingkat tinggi. Korelasi yang positif namun lemah ditemukan antara penggunaan gadget dan interaksi edukatif, yang menunjukkan bahwa meskipun penggunaan gadget berperan, faktor lain yang belum teridentifikasi mungkin memiliki kontribusi yang lebih signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan gadget yang terkontrol penting untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan interaksi edukatif. Penelitian selanjutnya perlu mengeksplorasi variabel tambahan yang mempengaruhi hubungan ini.

Abstract

An Extraordinary School (SLB) is an institution for children with special needs, where each child requires specific understanding and treatment. In the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), worship practices are taught to students with below-average IQs. Teachers need to present the material innovatively, as lectures alone are insufficient to engage these students. This research focuses on: 1) The characteristics of students with disabilities at SLB PGRI Dlanggu during the PAI learning process, and 2) The use of learning videos as a medium to support PAI for these students. A qualitative approach with a case study method is used, collecting data through participatory observation, semistructured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves three stages: reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The study reveals that students' characteristics include: a) universal character traits, b) academic abilities, c) social/emotional aspects, and d) economic levels. The use of learning videos for PAI is supported by the Principal and Curriculum Coordinator as it is engaging and enhances learning motivation for students with disabilities, provided that teachers use it consistently.
