Abstract

ABSTRACT This research contains the representation of tolerance meaning in the lyrics of “Peradaban” song by the .Feast music group. This research uses the semiotic theory of Ferdinand De Saussure. The Saussure Semiotic theory explains that sign has an interrelated element, namely a marker (signifier) and a sign (signified), then obtained a meaning or significance. This process connects the lyrics of “Peradaban” song with the real external world. The result of this research, the lyrics contains interrelated meanings about the importance of tolerance. Songwriters make very complex song lyrics, describe conflict, human attidudes and hope that are inserted at the end them. The theoriatical model of Ferdinand De Saussure focuses directly on the sign itself. In this research, the researcher divided the entire song lyrics into several verses and the analyzed the using the semiotic theory of Ferdinand De Saussure. Abstract

ABSTRACT Marketing communication is a driving factor for success within a company, to introduce companies and establish relationships with consumers. One effort that can be done by the company as a form of innovation from the development of communication technology to gain the trust of the community is to hold certain activities. PT Bank Maybank Indonesia as a bank that supports the lifestyle of people who like sports, especially running sports, makes an activity namely Maybank Bali Marathon (MBM). This research was conducted to find out how the integrated marketing communication strategy of the Maybank Bali Marathon Corporate Communication Division was in carrying out the Maybank Bali Marathon 2017. The research was a qualitative - descriptive study using data collection techniques in the form of interviews and document studies. The results of this study indicate that MBM uses an integrated marketing communication strategy (IMC) centrally. In addition, the marketing communication activities carried out by MBM focus more on social media (online) compared to offline activities. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pro 2 RRI Denpasar adalah salah satu Programa (stasiun radio) milik Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) yang awalnya bernama Pro 2 Paradise FM. Perubahan format programa mengharuskan Pro 2 RRI Denpasar menyusun strategi komunikasi yang lebih kompetitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi Pro 2 RRI Denpasar dalam menghadapi perubahan format programa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa segementasi, target dan posisi dari Pro 2 RRI Denpasar sudah ditentukan oleh LPP RRI Pusat, sehingga strategi komunikasi yang pertama adalah menentukan komunikator yaitu tim kreatif yang dibantu oleh Seksi Programa 2 dan Seksi Komuikasi Publik. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar melakukan audience research untuk mengenal khalayak. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar dalam menyusun pesan menggunakan sifat pesan informatif. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar mengunakan media konvensional berupa media elektronik, media luar ruang dan media format kecil. Pro 2 RRI Denpasar melakukan evaluasi dengan cara menghitung jumlah pendengar aktif yang dihitung melalui jumlah atensi SMS, telepon dan media sosial   Kata kunci : Perubahan Format Programa, Pro 2 RRI Denpasar, Strategi Komunikasi

Abstract

ABSTRAK The title of this research is “the role of leadership communication in maintaining the loyalty of the employees of Titiles in Denpasar, Bali. The aim of this research is to describe the role of leadership communication that has been done by the leader of Titiles, which has increased the loyalty of employees. This research applies descriptive qualitative method. The technique to gather the data in this research is depth interviews, observations and documentary studies. The technique to gather the 4 informants is purposive sampling. Great leadership communication skills that have been applied in Titiles also impacted the encouragement of employee’s loyalty. Through the applications of Barrett’s leadership communication (strategic objective, process, messages and communication staff) and Maslow hierarchy of needs theory principles (physiologies, secured, social, reward and self-conception) have also affected the loyalty of the employees. Abstract

ABSTRACT In this era of increasingly sophisticated technology, humans no longer spread information only through printed media. But also through the internet media. One of them is social media like @exploreBali, an Instagram account that inform Bali’s tourist destinations. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between exposure of @exploreBali social media Instagram with the intention of @exploreBali’s Instagram followers to visit Bali. This research uses quantitative method. Sampling technique used in this research is non-probability sampling and the method is purposive samplng. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that there is a correlation between exposure of @exploreBali social media Instagram with the intention of @explorebali followers to visit Bali. The direction of correlation between the variables of @exploreBali Social Media Instagram with @exploreBali followers intention to travel to Bali is known to be positive and unidirectional. Which means the more frequent @exploreBali’s followers is exposed to @exploreBali social media Instagramthen the intention of @exploreBali’s followers to travel to Bali will be higher. On the other hand, this research shows only the conviction indicator is high, while the purchase indicator is relatively low. Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility Program keep evolving and innovating in various companies in Indonesia, especially since it is defined as an obligation that set forth on Chapter V Article 74 of Law Number 40 Year 2007. XL Axiata is one of the largest telecommunication company in Indonesia that gives a special attention to its CSR program by creating CSR program titled "Persembahan XL untuk Indonesia (XL’s Offering for Indonesia)" and make XL Future Leaders as the flagship program. As a flagship program, XL Future Leaders program has had considerable influence to the company and the environment, but has many obstacles and has been in the final year of implementation. This research was conducted to find out and evaluate the stages of PR that run by department of Corporate Communication as the Public Relations of XL on XL Future Leaders program from 2012 to 2016. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The result of this research shows that XL's Corporate Communication has done 4 stages of PR in running XL Future Leaders program, which are: first, identifying the problem; second, planning and programming stages; third, taking action and communicating; and fourth, evaluating the program. XL’s Corporate Communication used the same steps and strategies each year as long as the program is implemented, but there are few changes depend on Core business of XL and the conditions of the students' needs at that time. Abstract

ABSTRACT LINE Webtoon is a form of media convergence, which is the transformation of conventional comics into digital form using the Internet. Since the launch, LINE Webtoon has received positive response by the public, especially Indonesia.This research aims to find out the motives of comic lovers community satisfaction by using this application LINE Webtoon, reference by the categories motives proposed by McQuail which is motive of information, motives of personal identity, motive of integration and motive entertainment. The theory used in this study is the theory of Uses and. This research uses quantitative quantitative methods with descriptive research types. Data retrieval techniques are questionnaires. Abstract

ABSTRACT The success of the organization in achieving the goals it wants to achieve depends on its leadership. To realize the goals of the organization the leader must communicate effectively with staff . Joger Kata-Kata Factory has been established only 37 and has more than 300 members of the Joger afamily. The purposei of this astudy awas to afind oout how Joger Factory Kata-Word leadership communication in building work motivation from members of the Joger family. This research is a qualitative research - descriptive by using interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation studies and informant determination techniques usingapurposive sampling itechnique. The iresults of ithis istudy show that leaders in building work motivation from members of the Joger Word Factory family by implementing effective leadership communication in accordance with the concepts proposed by Barret and have fulfilled the needs of Joger family members according to maslow's hierarchy of needs theories. ABSTRACT detikcom is the most popular news portal in Indonesia which is accessed by more than 8.7 million Indonesians in a month. This7research7was7conducted7to7find7out7what7the motives and how the satisfaction the people of Denpasar in accessing detikcom. This study uses the TheoryIof1Uses and.Gratifications. The’type of this research is descriptive quantative method and the[samplingVtechniquesusedIwasJpurposive,sampling /technique. The.analytical technique:used in this research is descriptive statistics by looking at the mean score obtained of each motives and satisfaction the people of Denpasar in accessing detikcom. Abstract

ABSTRACT Through the P4GN program (Prevention, Eradication, Illicit Abuse and Circulation of Narcotics) the National Narcotics Agency continues to try to tackle drug problems by carrying out basic tasks and functions in running this program in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary manner. This study aims to determine the communication strategies implemented by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in disseminating the P4GN program (Prevention, Eradication, Illegal Abuse and Circulation of Drugs) in the City of Denpasar. This study uses qualitative research methods using data collection techniques semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Based on the findings in the field, it can be seen that the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in disseminating the P4GN program (Prevention, Eradication, Misuse and Illicit Circulation of Drugs) in the field of prevention uses several steps in formulating communication strategies, starting from knowing audiences, arranging messages, setting methods, to select media usage.
