Abstract

The acquisition of children's language at the phonological level in psycholinguistic studies is very interesting to be discussed by experts and researchers. The study of language acquisition in the field of phonology is important in the field of phonology in children. This research was conducted to analyze children's language acquisition. This research is qualitative because it is appropriate to systematically, factually, and accurately describe language acquisition. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were children aged 2 to 4 years. The data collection method in this study is observation. Observation or direct observation of the research object is intended to get a clear picture of the existence of the research object and the activities carried out. After the data is collected, a discussion is carried out using the distribution method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The data were analyzed based on the forms and functions in the language of children aged 2-4 years. The study results are that children's language acquisition at the age of 2-4 years is different for each child, but this is considered reasonable because the language acquisition that occurs in each child is not the same. Children aged 2-4 years can use the sound of pronouncing words and sentences in consonant acquisition; children aged 2-4 years can pronounce vowels; while in acquiring syntax, children aged 2-4 years can use the best words and sentences.

Abstract

Writing for scholarly publication is commonly perceived as a daunting task in academic writing classes. Myriad studies have been geared to uncover theoretical significance within this process. However, little attention has been addressed in analyzing novice writers’ self- motivation construction in writing for scholarly publication. This present study was designed to investigate how self-motivation of research, writing, and publishing that emerged in the publication process encountered by Indonesian novice writers. Three Indonesian novice writers were involved based on previously set criteria. The data were elicited using a semi-structured interview and then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicated that the participants employed appealing attempts and that they were engaged in the complicatedness of writing for scholarly publication. These ways assisted them in sustaining their self-motivation in the publishing processes.  Based on the findings, this study offers possible pedagogic attempts to help refine scholarly publication training, especially for novice writers in tertiary education.

Abstract

This research is important to determine children's language acquisition and development according to studies of phonology and morphology in Indonesian language learning. The method used in this research is qualitative method with a case study approach. Through this qualitative method, the phonetic system of Edwin Omar Malik Erdogan (2.6 years) and Edward Nazhan Naik Erdogan (4 years), who are students at PAUD Al-Karimah, will be described. These two subjects were used as research samples from ten students to make the findings more accurate regarding learning outcomes and descriptive evidence of early childhood language acquisition at PAUD Al-Karimah. The result of this study was the Acquisition of phonology in their daily lives. Edwin and Edward obtained five vowel sounds Indonesians produced. The vowel sound consists of [a], [i], [u], [e], [o]. So it can be concluded that Edwin and Edward have mastered all vowel sounds, and there are consonant sounds, as many as 19 consonants Indonesian produced by Edwin and Edward. The consonant sounds consist of [b], [c], [d], [g], [h], [j], [l], [m], [n], [p], [s], [t], [w], [y], [G], [S], [ṭ], [?]. The consonant sounds that are not pronounced are [k], [f], [q], [r], [v], [x], [z].

Abstract

This study aims to determine children's interest in implementing or implementing the Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing program during the Covid-19 Pandemic at the Al-Qur'anul Karim Study Center. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely research that seeks to describe the events and events that took place at the time of the research by what they are. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing program by applying the Iqra (reading) method, can increase children's interest in Reading and Writing the Al-Qur'an, and writing the letters of the Al-Qur'an correctly and neatly. In addition, children can memorize several short letters, selected verses, and daily prayers, so they can read prayers well and get used to living in an Islamic atmosphere. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat anak dalam penerapan atau implementasi program Baca Tulis  Al-Qur’an selama Pandemi Covid-19 di Balai Pengajian Al-Qur’anul Karim. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskritif, yaitu penelitian yang berusaha  menggambarkan peristiwa maupun kejadian yang berlangsung pada saat penelitian sesuai dengan apa adanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui program Baca Tulis Al-Qur'an dengan menerapkan metode Iqra (membaca) dapat meningkatkan minat anak dalam Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an, dan menulis huruf Al-Qur’an dengan benar dan rapi. Selain itu juga anak dapat hafal beberapa surat pendek, ayat pilihan, dan doa-doa sehari-hari, sehingga mampu melakukan bacaan sholat dengan baik dan terbiasa hidup dalam suasana Islami.

Abstract

Guru Sekolah Dasar sebagai pendidik profesional yang berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran dituntut untuk kreatif dalam menggali potensi sumber dan media pembelajaran yang ada di lingkungannya sehingga dapat mengajar peserta didiknya secara berkualitas. Untuk dapat menjadi fasilitator yang baik, guru Sekolah Dasar diharapkan mampu membekali diri dengan wawasan dan keterampilan dalam mengembangkan desain dan pembuatan media pembelajaran sehingga guru dapat menjalankan perannya dengan baik. Realita menunjukkan bahwa guru di SD Islam Al-Karimah Bodak Kota Praya Lombok Tengah pada umumnya mengalami kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasarnya masing-masing. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan bagi guru SD Islam Al-Karimah dalam membuat dan mengimplementasikan media cerita bergambar bagi peserta didik di SD Islam Al-Karimah Bodak Kota Praya Lombok Tengah. Pelatihan akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Desember 2024. Kegiatan diawali dengan pre-test yaitu menguji wawasan peserta pelatihan terkait media pembelajaran. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi singkat dari ketiga narasumber yaitu Ibu Suci, Ibu Faza dan Bapak Sawaludin. Acara selanjutnya yaitu praktik pembuatan media cerita bergambar. Terakhir, para peserta yang sebelumnya telah dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok, mempresentasikan (mempraktikkan) hasil praktik pembuatan media cerita bergambar. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa secara umum guru SD Islam Al-Karimah sudah mampu membuat media bercerita menggunakan gambar dengan sangat baik. Akan tetapi masih terdapat kekurangan yang perlu diperbaiki seperti gaya bahasa yang kurang menarik bagi siswa, gestur tubuh yang agak kaku, intonasi dan artikulasi yang kurang baik, serta cerita yang dipilih harus lebih kontekstual untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Background: Background The Indonesian language features a complex morphological system, one of which is affixation, playing a crucial role in the formation of meaning and grammatical structure of words. In the context of digital media, the use of affixes in online news texts reflects the dynamic nature of language, which evolves rapidly to meet the demands of modern communication. Objectives: This study aims to describe the forms and functions of affixes in online news articles from two national news portals: Detik.com and Tempo.co. Methods: A qualitative approach with a descriptive morphological method was employed. The data were collected from articles published between February and June 2025 and analyzed to identify the types, frequency, and functions of affixes. . Results: The results indicate that prefixes and confixes are the most dominant types of affixes, accounting for 60% and 30% of total usage respectively, while suffixes make up only 8% and infixes are rarely found. Prefixes such as meN-, di-, and ter- play a significant role in forming informative and efficient sentence structures. Confixes like peN-...-an and ke-...-an are frequently used to convey abstract concepts in economic and political discourse. Conclusion: The study concludes that affixation—particularly through prefixes and confixes—is a primary linguistic strategy in digital journalistic discourse, reflecting the efficiency and clarity of information that modern mass media demands. Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran sangat diperlukan untuk menilai efektivitas sistem pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru. Dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran, pendidik juga perlu memperhatikan prinsip dasar evaluasi dan penggunaan alat ukur yang tepat (valid). Instrumen tes harus reliabel atau memberikan hasil yang konsisten, dan evaluasi harus praktis atau mudah digunakan, agar tidak menyulitkan pendidik maupun peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan pola evaluasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah. Penelitian ini berbentuk studi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi-rekam. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan analisis dengan mendeskripsikan informasi yang diperoleh. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia merupakan komponen penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia harus dilakukan untuk menilai sejauh mana keberhasilan siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa tersebut. Melalui evaluasi ini, akan terlihat kelebihan dan kekurangan, tingkat dukungan, serta permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi ini juga dapat digunakan oleh pendidik dan pihak terkait untuk mengambil kebijakan atau keputusan terkait pengembangan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di masa mendatang. Mengingat pentingnya evaluasi dalam proses belajar mengajar, sudah sepatutnya para pendidik melaksanakan setiap langkah evaluasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan benar dan optimal

Abstract

Tujuan pengkajian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan: (1) kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis ekspositori, dan (2) keterampilan menulis eksplanasi dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran model. Lokasi pengkajian ini ialah SMA Negeri 1 Praya Tengah. Hasil pengkajian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Metode demonstrasi bisa meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi, ditandai dengan peningkatan kapasitas pendidik dan peserta didik. Pada periode pertama rata-rata kapasitas pendidik 70,83 (cukup), dan periode kedua rata-rata kapasitas pendidik 81,05 (baik). Rata-rata prestasi belajar peserta didik pada tahap I ialah 59,3 (bawah), dan rata-rata prestasi belajar peserta didik pada tahap II ialah 81,16 (baik); (2) Model hukum bisa meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik di kelas XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Praya Tengan kelas pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022 kecakapanmenulis ekspositori dengan angka ketuntasan minimal 75. Rata-rata kecakapanmenulis ekspositori peserta didik ialah 74,7 persen sebesar 62,5% dan pada tahap II angka rerata kecakapanmenulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik sebesar 82,3 dengan persentase sebesar 90,9%.
