Abstract

Upaya peningkatan mutu pengajaran IPA pada Pondok Pesantren Fajrussalam Sentul Bogor, sudahkami lakukan selama beberapa kali melalui program PKM dari Fakultas Teknologi Kebumian dan EnergiUniversitas Trisakti. Program kami beberapa tahun lalu adalah pemberian sumbangan alat in focus, bukubukumatematika ataupun IPA dan pengajaran untuk para guru. Untuk Program kali ini kami fokuskan padasumbangan alat-alat peraga yang dibutuhkan di pondok pesantren tersebut. Hal ini kami sudahkonsultasikan tentang kebutuhan untuk pengajaran IPA dengan pengajar di pondok yaitu Ibu Dr. FerraNadir. Sumbangan kami berikan yang meliputi alat peraga / model pengajaran bagian-bagian tubuhmanusia, proses asimilasi, termometer, optika, dan alat peraga sistem tatasurya. Pada saat ini pondokpesantren belum mengijinkan masyarakat luar untuk beraktivitas di dalam pondok, sehingga kami hanyabisa memberikan sumbangan tanpa memberikan pengajaran. Alat-alat bantu tersebut digunakan oleh ibuDr. Ferra Nadir untuk memperjelas pengajaran IPA yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya. Kami berharap alatalattersebut bisa dipergunakan sebaik-baiknya dan memberikan manfaat bagi para siswa dan guru-guru.

Abstract

The study's purpose was to analyze the density value and the burning rate of briquettes made from a combination of peanut shell and coconut shell ingredients with a fixed amount of starch adhesive concentration. The briquette making involves processing peanut shells and coconut shells, grinding and 60 mesh sifting, mixing with adhesive, printing, and drying in an oven (1200C for ± 30 minutes). The samples tested were the composition of peanut shells (K) and coconut shells (T). The combination of two briquette materials has the same mass of 100 gr for each sample. The samples were made with several compositions, namely K1 (T = 90, K = 10), K2 (T = 80, K = 20), K3 (T = 70, K = 30), K4 (T = 60, K = 40 ), K5 ( T = 50, K = 50), K6 ( T = 40, K = 60), K7 ( T = 30, K = 70). The results showed that the highest density value was obtained from the K7 composition, which means it is composed of 30 gr coconut shell and 70 gr peanut shell with a density value of 0.292 gr/cm3 and the lowest density value obtained from the K3 composition, which means it is composed of 70 gr coconut shell and 30 grams of peanut skin with a density value of 0.170 gr/cm3. The longest flame time of the briquettes, until they go out and turn into ashes, is obtained from composition K1, which means it is composed of 90 grams of coconut shell and 10 grams of peanut shell with a flame time of 88 minutes, and the shortest time of the burning of briquettes until it goes out and turns into ashes is obtained from composition K5 which composed of 50 grams of coconut shell and 50 grams of peanut shell with a burning time of 57 minutes. The longest burning rate of briquettes, until they were extinguished and turned into ashes, was obtained from samples K3 and K5 with a burning rate of 125.6 cm3/minute, then the shortest burning rate of briquettes until they were extinguished and turned into ashes was obtained from samples K4 with a burning rate of 108.518 cm3/minute.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service is to provide knowledge about disaster mitigation, especially the earthquake and tsunami disaster at SMAN 23 Jakarta. This activity was carried out on January 21, 2022 through a zoom meeting which was attended by students of SMAN 23 Jakarta from the MIPA and IPS majors. This activity was initiated by providing a pre-socialization questionnaire through google form which aims to determine the knowledge of SMAN 23 Jakarta students related to disaster mitigation, especially the earthquake and tsunami disaster before socialization, then carried out socialization in the form of exposure to disaster mitigation through presentations and videos, then ended by giving back the socialization evaluation questionnaire which aims to see how far the benefits felt by students and students of SMAN 23 Jakarta from the socialization that has been delivered. Through an evaluation questionnaire given to 11 students after socialization, it appears that there is an increase in the knowledge of students at SMAN 23 Jakarta, where there is an increase of 18.2% in knowledge of students and students related to the mechanism of destruction caused by earthquakes, then there is an increase of 9, 1% knowledge of students related to tips for handling in the event of an earthquake, followed by an increase of 18.2% related to symptoms and early warning of a Tsunami and an increase of 9.6% in knowledge of students and students regarding tips for handling in the event of a Tsunami. From the questionnaire, it can be concluded that this socialization activity is useful and increases the knowledge of SMAN 23 Jakarta students regarding disaster mitigation, especially the earthquake and tsunami disaster, which is then expected to be able to fortify themselves if at any time an earthquake and tsunami disaster occurs in their neighborhood.

Abstract

Implementation of Community Service (PKM) themed Socialization of Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster Mitigation for Teachers and Students of SMAN Bina Insani, Tangerang Banten has been carried out. The purpose of this activity is to find out the impact of socialization which is carried out based on the Likert scale. The method used in this research is to provide a pre-socialization questionnaire to see the respondents' initial knowledge regarding the earthquake and tsunami disaster, then proceed with the presentation of material related to the earthquake and tsunami disaster through zoom and finally given another socialization questionnaire to see the extent of the benefits from this socialization. So based on the socialization questionnaire, the results showed that 39% of respondents often heard about earthquakes; 57% of respondents never find out the causes of earthquakes; 63% of respondents rarely find out about the mechanisms of damage caused by earthquakes; 53% of respondents never find out about tips and handling in case of an earthquake nearby; 61% of respondents rarely heard about the tsunami; 61% of respondents never found out the cause of the tsunami; 63% of respondents rarely hear tsunami early warnings; 64% of respondents rarely find out tips for handling if a tsunami occurs nearby. and after the socialization was held it was found that 96% of respondents felt that this socialization activity was very useful to increase their knowledge regarding earthquakes and 97% of respondents felt that this socialization activity was very useful to increase their knowledge regarding the tsunami.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembudidayaan ikan lele dan tanaman hidroponik ini diajukan sebagai pelaksanaan salah satu dari tridarma perguruan tinggi yang merupakan kewajiban bagi dosen dalam bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Ide dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini di dasarkan atas pentingnya pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi anak didik di Pondok Pesantren Fajrussalam Sentul. Pemilihan topic Pembudidayaan ikan lele dan sayuran hidroponik (budikdamber) dianggap sebagai pelatihan yang cukup menarik untuk dipraktekkan. Metode ini cukup baru dan cukup efisien dalam pelaksanaannya, karena dalam satu sistem bisa menghasilkan 2 produk. Bahan-bahan yang akan digunakan dipilih yang teknik pemasangan bisa dikerjakan sendiri, misalkan pembuatan lubang2 untuk tanaman sayuran dan pemasangan kran di samping bagian bawah ember dikerjakan sendiri supaya harganya bisa ditekan. Demikian juga pemilihan benih dan pakan akan dilaksanakan sebaik mungkin, karena akan mempengaruhi hasil panen. Pemeliharaan harian diatur sedemikian rupa sehingga semua anggota bisa berpartisipasi. Pada pelaksanaan PKM ini ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, yatu karena hawa terlalu panas dan kadang hujan terlalu deras, maka diutuskan untuk membuat rumah-rumahan pelindung bagi peternakan lele ini. Sehingga pelaksanaan menjadi terlambat karena harus membuat bangunan pelindung da juga harus memasang paving untuk dudukan dari meja tempat meletakkan ember.

Abstract

The numerical pressure calculation has been calculated for the radially unstable fluid flow in a slightly compressible fluid, using fortran soft program and the results are interpreted in the form of a graph of the function of drainage radius and time. This paper also explains how to derive the pressure equation mathematically which fulfills the mass conservation principle, so the fluid continuity equation is obtained using radial / spherical coordinates and the diffusivity equation. By using the solution of the Ei function, the fluid flow in the radial direction of the porous media can be shown. This mathematical derivation is considered important because in unsteady state fluids, the time variable is very important to consider. It can be seen in the resulting graph, the pressure at the outer point has a maximum value then it will decrease as the drainage radius to the well decreases and with increasing time according to the nature of unsteady state flows.

Abstract

Tanaman kedelai dipergunakan untuk percobaan elektro budaya dengan variasi bahan tembaga dan aluminium serta dibentuk kumparan searah jarum jam dan berlawanan arah dengan jarum jam. Percobaan ini dipergunakan untuk melaksanakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) untuk periode tahun perkuliahan 2024/2025. Hasil dari percoban ini belum terlalu signifikan sehingga belum bisa dilaporkan. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah tanaman yang diberi kumparan tembaga akan tumbuh lebih cepat dari pada yang tidak diberi kumparan tembaga. Percobaan dikembangkan dengan pemakaian bahan aluminium untuk percobaan ini. Hasilnya masih belum bisa ditampilkan juga. Arah putaran searah dan berlawanan arah dengan jarum jam diharapkan menghasilkan kesimpulan yang bisa diterapkan untuk pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dan untuk pertanian skala yang lebih besar dan untuk meningkatkan produksi pangan

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Fajussalam Bogor merupakan pondok yang cukup maju dan modern dengan perkembangan pembangunan sarana pendidikan yang sangat cepat. Demikian pula dengan kegiatannya pendidikan dan pengajaran sudah cukup maju terutama pendidikan agama sebagai pendidikan yang utama. Tetapi hasil dari dari hasil survey pada 10 Januari 2018 terhadap santri (murid laki-laki) dan santriah (murid perempuan) kelas 7 hingga kelas 9 diperoleh data-data yang menunjukkan kurangnya pendidikan eksakta bagi para murid-murid tersebut. Data juga menunjukkan ada beberapa kekurangan yang terdapat pada satuan pendidikan di pondok ini yaitu jam pelajaran untuk ilmu eksakta kurang dan jumlah ustadz (pengajar laki-laki) dan ustadzah (pengajar perempuan) yang mengajarkan ilmu eksakta juga kurang bahkan sarana belajarnya juga kurang memadai. Kami dari tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Fakultas Teknologi Kebumian dan Energi (FTKE) Universitas Trisakti berusaha memberikan sedikit masukan pada masalah tersebut diatas, selain dari kewajiban kami untuk melaksanakan Tri Dharma Peruruan Tinggi yang harus kami laksanakan. Adapun usaha-usaha yang kami lakukan sudah berjalan selama 5 periode tahun akademik. Pertama penjelasan kepada para murid tentang pentingnya mempelajari ilmu eksakta, melaksanakan diskusi dengan para pengajar, memberikan masukan kepada pengurus pondok tentang jam pelajaran yang kurang, memberikan sumbangan-sumbangan yang berupa infocus, buku-buku pelajaran, alat-alat peraga dan diperkenalkan juga dengan pembudidayaan lele dan kangkung. Adapun manfaat yang bisa dirasakan oleh para siswa dan pengajar adalah para pengajar mendapatkan masukan-masukan cara pengajaran, mendapatkan tambahan media belajar berupa buku-buku dan alat peraga sehingga bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketertarikan mempelajari ilmu eksakta karena lulusan dari pondok ini selain menjadi ahli agama juga diharapkan sebagian mampu bersaing pada bidang eksakta.

Abstract

This research is a continuation of several previous studies that have been published, in general studying fluid flow in reservoirs. There are 2 fluid flows in reservoirs, namely linear and radial, while there are 3 types of fluids, namely incompressible, slightly compressible and compressible. In this study, the pressure and pressure drop of incompressible fluids at a certain distance from the well to the reservoir are calculated. The equation used to calculate fluid pressure is derived from the Darcy Equation. To obtain accurate data, the calculations are carried out repeatedly with 1 ft intervals, namely to get an overview of changes in pressure. The initial calculations were done manually but because the calculations were quite difficult and repetitive, the Fortran software was used to calculate them. Numerical calculations were carried out with some rock permeability data. The calculated results obtained pressure characteristics from a certain radius to the well with several values of rock permeability and these results are expressed by a graph between pressure and radius.

Abstract

Everyday living relies heavily on energy. However, the availability of non-renewable energy sources is dwindling over time, raising the likelihood of their demise in the future. As a result, we must create new renewable energy sources from garbage, ensuring the proper use of waste while also supporting environmental conservation initiatives. We have the potential to process coconut shells into briquettes as an alternative fuel source due to their increased calorific value compared to other biomass types. We conducted this community service activity by training 17 housewives from Beverly Lake Housing in Parung Panjang, Bogor. The course will educate participants on how to convert coconut shell waste into briquettes using a simple process. The training method consists of both material delivery and hands-on practice manufacturing briquettes. The outcomes of the activity revealed that 100% of participants believed that this exercise was extremely effective in enhancing their understanding of processing coconut shell waste into briquettes. We aim to empower the community through this program to convert coconut shells, previously considered waste, into alternative fuels that not only replace oil and gas but also generate economic value for small companies.
