Abstract

Community Service Program (PKM) titled "Innovation in Print on Demand Business with AI Technology Application within BUMNAG Groups to Foster Technopreneurship in Simalungun" aims to enhance the skills and understanding of local communities, especially the youth, in managing technology-based Print On Demand (POD) businesses. AI technology was directly applied in various aspects of the POD business, including the creation of personalized designs using AI-based tools like Canva AI and Adobe Firefly, enabling participants to produce creative and market-relevant designs without prior graphic design experience. The program's outcomes demonstrate the participants' success in producing various creative POD-based products, including custom-designed screen-printed t-shirts, personalized mug presses, wood-transfer images, and unique keychains. The quality of these products meets marketable standards for both local and broader market potential. However, challenges such as limited production equipment and the short training duration remain significant barriers to scaling marketing efforts. Despite these obstacles, the program's positive impact is evident, particularly in enhancing participants' technical skills and raising awareness of the potential of technology-driven businesses. This program successfully promotes local technopreneurship by empowering the community through AI-based innovations. With improved facilities and continuous mentoring, AI-based POD businesses have the potential to become sustainable and competitive drivers of the local economy.

Abstract

In the digital era, the ability to understand and analyze data is very important for students. Statistics, a part of mathematics, is widely used in various fields, but its learning in schools is still often only theoretical and manual. SPSS is a data analysis software that can help students learn statistics in a more practical and interactive way. With SPSS, students can more easily understand concepts, hone analytical skills, and be ready to face the data-driven world of work. However, there are still many students who are not familiar with using SPSS due to lack of access and training. Therefore, this service aims to introduce and train students to use SPSS so that they are better prepared in the digital era. The method of this service activity is training by means of lectures to explain the basic concepts and introduction of SPSS, demonstrations to show how to use SPSS features and exercises so that participants can directly practice data processing with SPSS. SPSS is a software used to easily process and analyze statistical data. Data can be entered directly or copied from Excel into SPSS. Analysis is done through the menus, and results can be copied to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint for reports or presentations. One of the features of SPSS is Descriptive Statistics, which shows the minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation of data. With SPSS, students can directly process and analyze data, making it easier to understand and present data correctly. Their analytical skills also improve, especially in using basic statistics to solve real problems. Learning with SPSS helps students better understand statistics and be ready to face the digital world that requires data analysis skills.

Abstract

Perpustakaan adalah tempat yang memiliki banyak koleksi buku pengetahuan, majalah dan media lainnya yang ditata atau diatur dengan cara tertentu agar mudah dimanfaatkan oleh para pengguna secara tepat dan baik. Dalam melakukan  penempatan buku diperpustakaan, buku yang diletakkan sesuai kategori buku yang diberikan penomoran. Namun penempatan buku-buku belum diatur dengan melihat tingkat buku mana yang sering dipinjam dan para pengunjung banyak yang merasa kesulitan dalam mencari kembali buku yang sering dipinjam. Maka perlu dibuat sebuah sistem menggunakan data mining metode apriori untuk menentukan pola penataan tata letak buku diperpustakaan, sistem ini dapat membantu untuk mempermudah dalam menentukan tata letak buku yang sesuai kebutuhan. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi dari RapidMiner, maka diperoleh pola kombinasi tata letak buku perpustakaan paling tinggi adalah Ilmu Murni dan Ilmu Sosial dengan support 50% dan confidence 86%. Kemudian selanjutnya diperoleh Karya Umum dan Ilmu Murni dengan support 41% dan confidence 83%. Selanjutnya Karya Umum dan Ilmu Sosial dengan support 41% dan confidence 83%.

Abstract

Financial fraud remains a critical challenge for banking systems and digital payment platforms worldwide. With the rapid growth of electronic transactions, effective fraud detection mechanisms are essential to ensure security and user trust. This study explores the application of an unsupervised deep learning model—Autoencoder—for anomaly-based financial fraud detection. Utilizing the publicly available Kaggle Credit Card Fraud Detection dataset, which comprises 284,807 transactions including 492 fraudulent cases, the model is trained exclusively on legitimate transactions to learn typical behavioral patterns. Prior to training, the dataset underwent feature anonymization using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and numerical columns such as "Amount" and "Time" were normalized using Min-Max Scaling. The Autoencoder architecture includes three encoder and decoder layers with ReLU activations, and is optimized using the Adam optimizer with Mean Squared Error (MSE) as the loss function. Experimental results show that the model achieves a classification accuracy of 94% and an AUC score of 0.931, indicating strong potential for detecting anomalies. However, the precision for identifying fraudulent transactions remains relatively low (5%), reflecting the challenges posed by imbalanced datasets. Despite this, the study demonstrates that Autoencoder offers a promising foundation for fraud detection systems, with further improvements possible through model integration and hybrid ensemble techniques

Abstract

Abstract: The design system for creating website-based applications, such as shopping, is a rapidly growing and popular e-commerce platform. Designing an electronic-based application for a website requires several software tools, including XAMPP, Sublime, HTML, and a database (MySQL). XAMPP is software for running user-created programs. Sublime is software for creating HTML programs, among others. MySQL is software for creating databases. The software discussed above is essential for accelerating the development of website-based electronic applications. It's true that traditional marketing is ineffective in today's modern or advanced era. Therefore, this research aims to create a website-based online marketing or sales application to improve the efforts of entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and others Keyword: Xampp; Sublime; Myqsl; Website. Abstrak: Sistem rancangan pada pembuatan aplikasi berbasis website seperti pembelanjaan-pembelajaan merupakan e-commerce yang sangat berkembang dan populer saat ini. Perancangan sebuah aplikasi berbasis elektonik ini yang dibuatkan untuk website memerlukan beberapa software yaitu Xampp, Sublime, HTML, Database (Mysql). Xampp merupakan suatu sofware untuk menjalankan program yang dibuat oleh pengguna. Sublime merupakan software untuk membuat program dalam bentuk HTML dan lain-lain. Mysql merupakan software untuk membuat suatu database yang diperlukan. Dengan keberadaan software yang dibicarakan tadi sangatlah diperlukan untuk mempercepat mengerjakan suatu aplikasi elektronik berbasis website. Tepat rasanya bahwa pemasaran yang tradisonal tidak lah efektif dimasa moderen atau masa maju sekarang ini. Abstract

UMKM ialah kegiatan usaha kecil ekonomi rakyat yang berskala kecil dan dilindungi dari kompetisi usaha yang tak sehat dan tak setara. Wirausaha yang bergerak dibidang pertokoan memiliki prospek yang menjanjikan, karena dapat melayanin masyarakat dengan kategori ekonomi menengah kebawah dan ke atas serta bisa mempermudah masyarakat untuk berbelanja keperluan tiap hari tanpa harus belanja ke supermarket atau swalayan. Namun persediaan barang atau bahan kebutuhan yang tidak dilakukan secara optimal dapat menyebabkan kekosongan pada barang atau bahan kebutuhan tersebut. Hal tersebut juga terjadi pada toko sinar harahap yang sering mengalami kekosongan pada persediaan beberapa barang dan kebutuhan yang di cari oleh pelanggan, ini di akibatkan dari tidak adanya kebiasaan pengontrolan persediaan pada toko. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat barang dan kebutuhan apa saja yang dibutuhkan oleh pelanggan toko. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa variabel yaitu tanggal transaksi, nama produk serta jumlah penjualan/pembelian. Maka, dari hasil penelitian menggunakan algoritma apriori tersebut akan di dapat data nama barang yang paling banyak terjual untuk di jadikan sebagai antisipasi persediaan barang agar tidak mengalami kekosongan yang dapat menyebabkan pelanggan kecewa.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find the rules of the model in measuring the level of students' understanding of the subject. During this pandemic, the learning process is carried out online, so it is difficult to measure students' ability to master the material. This measurement needs to be done so that the evaluation process can be carried out so that the ability of students in one group to achieve the target level of understanding. Currently, evaluation activities have never been carried out because they do not have a model so that evaluation can only be done by giving quizzes and exercises. This problem can be solved by using data mining algorithm C4.5. Attributes used as parameters for assessing student understanding of lessons such as Teaching Method (C1), Learning Media (C2), Communication (C3), Experience (C4), Teaching Materials/Modules/Assignments (C5), Learning Duration (C6). The six attributes are used to find the relationship between each other that influence each other to get the highest root so that a decision tree will be obtained that produces the rules of the relationship between each attribute in determining student understanding of the subject. This rule or rule will be used as the basis for making an information system so that it can be applied to end users, namely schools.

Abstract

Amid the onslaught of technology and social media, vocational school students' interest in reading in Indonesia is still like a fading fire. Lack of access to books, minimal interest in reading, and an undeveloped literacy culture in the school environment are the dominant factors. This condition hampers the learning achievement and critical thinking abilities of vocational school students. The first step is to delve into the reading habits of vocational school students and the factors that influence them. The time has come for the promotion of literacy culture to be launched. Various interesting and interactive activities are packaged to attract the interest of vocational school students. Starting from counseling about the importance of reading, introduction to various types of books, to discussions and reading competitions. This is clear evidence that the socialization of literacy culture is able to revive interest in reading among vocational school students. This research concludes that literacy culture socialization is an effective way to increase vocational school students' interest in reading. Sustainable efforts are needed to instill a culture of literacy in the school environment, involving collaboration between schools, parents and the community.

Abstract

SMP YP HKBP 1 Pematangsiantar School is currently conducting face-to-face learning in class. The learning process is carried out by the teacher explaining in front of the class and writing the material given on the board and then the students note it down in a notebook to read again at home. However, not all students want to re-read the notes they have taken at home, but the grades given by the teacher to the students are less than satisfactory. Children now have gone through a health emergency and still like to read using digital information technology. The development of information technology means that information can be conveyed very quickly in all fields, including education. During a global disaster emergency several years ago, information technology was really needed to get the latest information. In the field of education, distance information technology is used to support learning. Education practitioners in Indonesia must learn again to use information technology in applications that are very developed and require the name of the internet. The internet makes it easier for people to get information quickly and affordably. In the field of education, the internet provides global access to information. There are various educational applications in the learning process, one of which is Padlet. The padlet application can be used by SMP YP HKBP 1 Pematangsiantar School to improve the abilities of SMP YP HKBP 1 Pematangsiantar School students in the learning process which interacts between teachers and students over long or near distances.  Therefore, this service is carried out to improve the abilities of SMP YP HKBP 1 Pematangsiantar School students by using the Padlet application.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pembuatan sistem informasi adalah untuk membantu manusia dalam banyak hal, termasuk pengolahan data serta penyampaian informasi, hal ini akan lebih baik jika menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis online. Sistem informasi tugas akhir menjadi pilihan penulis dikarenakan masih belum adanya sistem informasi tugas akhir   yang bersifat online pada AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa masalah seperti lambatnya penyampaian informasi, mahasiswa/i harus memberikan formulir pengajuan judul ke kampus dan lain sebagainya. Sistem ini menyediakan solusi bagi mahasiswa/i dalam proses merancang tugas akhir. Sistem ini meliputi pengajuan judul, pengumuman, judul diterima atau ditolak, informasi pembimbing dan lainnya. Penulis mencoba membangun sistem ini dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Database MySQL agar dapat di realisasikan secara online. Dengan adanya sistem ini maka akan membantu mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan prosedur tugas akhir dengan mudah karena dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun.
