Abstract

This research aims to find out how the level of physical fitness related to skills in students at State Elementary Schools in Gugus 5 - 8 in Kedungkandang District, Malang City, because there is no data related to students' physical fitness. Descriptive quantitative with random sampling technique is the method used in this study. The overall subjects taken in this study amounted to 95 students using the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI) instrument in data collection. Because based on the results of observations and initial interviews with PJOK teachers, the results obtained that physical fitness learning in grades 5 and 6 is carried out once a week, besides that PJOK teachers have never conducted physical fitness tests in accordance with TKSI. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the fitness status related to the skills of students at the State Elementary School of Gugus 5 - 8 phase C in Kedungkandang District, Malang City with a percentage of 56.42% which is included in the moderate category. In the Excellent category there are 0 frequencies, in the Good category there are 3.37% or 4 frequencies, in the Moderate category there are 44.21% or 70 frequencies, in the Lack category there are 8.84% or 21 frequencies, and in the Very Lack category there are 0 frequencies.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and understand the level of gross motor skills in students in the lower classes of A-accredited public elementary schools in Pujon District, Malang Regency. The method applied in this study is a quantitative descriptive survey method. Samples were taken by applying the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Then to measure gross motor skills using the TGMD 3 instrument. The gross motor skills of students in grades 1, 2 and 3 with the highest percentage were 73.86% and with a total of 113 students reaching the average category. So it can be concluded that the level of gross motor skills of low class students in A-accredited public elementary schools in Pujon District, Malang Regency is included in the average group.

Abstract

The present study posits that the utilization of the play approach is efficacious in enhancing students' motivation to learn in school activities. The findings of the research indicate that play activities encourage students to be more active and creative. The implementation of this research, which took place in two cycles, involved a specific classroom action. The results of this implementation provided evidence that the play approach can serve as an appropriate alternative to increase students' active participation in learning activities. A substantial increase in learning motivation was observed following the implementation of the strategy. This finding is supported by data collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The study's findings indicate that the play approach has the potential to significantly enhance the interest and learning motivation of students in class V A ICP SD Laboratorium UM in learning activities. Consequently, the implementation of this approach in learning activities is strongly advocated to foster a more conducive and effective learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a form of locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative games based on basic volleyball skills that can be used in learning PJOK grade 5 at SDN Kebonsari 2 Malang City. this research utilizes the RD research and development model with steps adapted to the Borg Gall model. The test subjects consisted of class 5A students selected through cluster random sampling technique from a total of two existing classes, namely classes (5A and 5B). The development procedure includes needs analysis, research planning, initial product development, initial group test (small scale), revision of initial product trial results, main field test (large scale), data analysis and final revision. Data collection instruments in the form of needs analysis questionnaires aimed at students and teachers, validation of experts such as media experts, game experts, pjok learning experts, and also student response questionnaires. The results showed that the designed product is feasible to use in pjok learning in terms of media expert validation with the results of 98.1%, game experts at 91.6%, pjok learning experts at 97.1%, while based on the results of the small group test obtained a percentage value of 85.28% and a large group test of 89.13%. Thus, this game product is suitable for use as an alternative tool for learning pjok that is interesting and in accordance with the characteristics of grade 5 elementary school students.

Abstract

Esensi terkait hak dan kewajiban dasar pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga bagi tiap individu diatur secara universal melalui piagam internasional pendidikan jasmani, aktivitas fisik dan olahraga oleh UNESCO. Penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk menguraikan pelaksanaan pendidikan jasmani dengan kurikulum merdeka di kota malang. Dengan metode campuran pararel konvergen peneliti mengiterpretasikan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif secara bersamaan, terhadap 45 responden yang dipilih secara kuota sampling. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa secara kuantitatif pelaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik. Namun pada aspek kesetaraan hak, program yang bermanfaat, kontribusi stakeholder, ketersediaan sarana & prasarana, serta kerjasama internasional berdasarkan pernyataan secara kualitatif masih perlu beberapa perbaikan. Simpulan dan saran dari penelitian ini, secara ringkas mengerucut pada penekanan pelaksanaan pendidikan jasmani yang inklusif, perancangan kurikulum dengan fokus pada pendekatan holistik, peningkatan peran stakeholder dalam pendanaan fasilitas olahraga, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana yang layak dan standar, serta perlunya kerjasama internasional untuk mengembangkan pelaksanaan pendidikan jasmani yang unggul dalalm menekan pola hidup pasif pada remaja

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a Semester Learning Plan (RPS) for the Entrepreneurship course for students of the Department of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation at the Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Malang. The method used is the R&D 4D model. The 4D model is one of the research and development models consisting of four steps: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The development results indicate that the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in the development of the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) for the Entrepreneurship course is effective in enhancing students' practical skills, particularly in creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and management. Through this approach, students are given the opportunity to engage directly in entrepreneurship projects that integrate theory and practice, thus better preparing them to face the challenges of the business world.

Abstract

This work seeks to provide a new teaching material for instructors in the physical fitness material of speed to aid teachers and students in the learning process and learning in physical education, sports, and health topics. This research and development method uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach developed by Lee & Owen. Small group trial subjects consisted of 20 students, large group trial subjects consisted of 30 students. Based on the results of product validation and trials, it was obtained 93% learning experts, 87% physical fitness experts, 91% media experts, 83% class VII user experts, 93% class VIII user experts, the results of the five validators met the criteria and were included in the category very valid and does not need to be revised. While small group trials for class VII were 83%, small group trials for class VIII were 82%, large group trials for class VII were 84%, large group trials for class VIII were 82%. From these results it was concluded that the development of this learning met the very good criteria and could be used to help the physical education learning process, especially on physical fitness material on the element of speed.

Abstract

Pencak silat is one of popular martial art originated from Indonesia that is learnt by students from various level.  The learning process of pencak silat requires innovative media to help students learn it effectively. This study aims to develop an application-based learning media as a suitable solution to overcome problems related to PSHT martial arts learning material for the Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) club at high schools. This study employed a research and development (R&D) methodology. The participants were 17 pencak silat student-athletes from the PSHT club or extracurricular program. Observations and interviews were conducted to collect the data. This research completed three expert validations, which include evaluations by coaching experts with an average score of 83.0%, PSHT material experts with an average score of 83.25%, and media experts with an average score of 97.5%. The overall product trial involved 17 student-athletes and was split into two phases: a small group trial with 5 participants, which achieved an 84.58% success rate, and a large group trial with 12 participants, which yielded an 80.90% success rate. Based on these results, the learning media for basic pencak silat techniques for PSHT student-athletes met valid standards and may be used without revision.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk keterampilan motorik, kesehatan, serta gaya hidup aktif peserta didik sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 Tahun 2022. Pada fase B sekolah dasar (usia 9–10 tahun), anak berada dalam tahap perkembangan krusial, khususnya keterampilan lokomotor dan manipulatif. Namun, pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah masih sering monoton, sarana terbatas, dan variasi permainan kurang menarik, sehingga siswa mudah bosan dan hasil belajar tidak optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model permainan edukatif berbasis keterampilan dasar sepak bola yang memadukan aktivitas lokomotor dan manipulatif melalui aturan dan kegiatan terstruktur sesuai karakteristik anak sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan modifikasi tujuh langkah model Borg & Gall, melalui tahap studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan, validasi ahli, uji coba kecil pada enam siswa, serta uji coba besar pada tiga puluh siswa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan kelayakan tinggi, dengan penilaian ahli pembelajaran PJOK sebesar 86,81%, ahli permainan 83,33%, dan ahli media 90,86%, sedangkan tanggapan siswa sangat positif, yaitu 86,11% pada uji coba kecil dan 87,22% pada uji coba besar. Dengan demikian, produk dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran PJOK, mendukung pengembangan keterampilan motorik secara menyenangkan, sekaligus sejalan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila

Abstract

Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di sekolah dasar masih terbatas pada pengulangan materi dasar tanpa variasi permainan, sehingga siswa kelas II yang berada pada fase perkembangan motorik kasar tidak memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang optimal. Padahal, anak-anak pada usia ini belajar paling efektif melalui kegiatan bermain yang menyenangkan dan aktif, sejalan dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pengembangan pola gerak dasar serta pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, dan kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang bentuk permainan gerak dasar berbasis flipbook yang memadukan gerak lokomotor, non-lokomotor, dan manipulatif dengan dukungan media visual dan audio, sehingga dapat digunakan secara digital maupun cetak untuk memudahkan guru dalam berbagai kondisi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi melalui tujuh tahap, meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil validasi menunjukkan kelayakan sangat tinggi, dengan persentase ahli pembelajaran PJOK sebesar 82,81%, ahli media 98,90%, dan ahli permainan 97%. Uji coba lapangan pada kelompok kecil menghasilkan nilai aspek kemudahan 88% dan kesenangan 95%, sedangkan kelompok besar memperoleh masing-masing 93%. Dengan demikian, flipbook permainan gerak fundamental ini dinyatakan sangat valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran PJOK kelas II SD.
