Abstract

The purpose of this study were (i) To see the picture of the application of thematic learning model terintegrasinilai character to the interest of students of class V SDN 48 Bone Pangkep district. (ii) To see the picture of class V student interest SDN 48 Pangkep Bone district before and after the integrated thematic learning model character value. (iii) To see the effect of the application of thematic integrated learning model character values to the interest of students of class V SDN 48 Bone Pangkep district.This research is quantitative research type True Experiment Design. The technique of collecting data through questionnaires student interest. The population in this study is the fifth grade students of the school year 2015/2016 The samples in this study were taken from the school SDN 48 Bone ie fifth grade students who totaling 50 people from the large number of the population. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.The results showed that the application of learning models thematic integrated character value consisting of phase Competency Mapping Basic, stage Establish network theme, stage Develop syllabus, stage menyusunan Lesson Plan (RPP), stage of implementation and Phase evaluation is generally done well based on results and implementation , Student interest in learning in class V SDN 48 Bone regency Pangkep before the application of thematic integrated learning model character values that are in the low category, both in the experimental group and the control group. There is increasing interest in students in the high category in the experimental group after treatment given thematic integrated learning model character values while the control group in the low category. The use of integrated thematic learning model character values affect the interest of students of class V SDN 48 Bone Pangkep district.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how instructors and students used audio-visual media during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of planning, implementation, evaluation, and aspects linked to the use of audio-visual media in science courses for class V at SD Inpres Tello Baru 1/ 1. This study employs qualitative research methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation to acquire data. The findings revealed that the teacher's usage of audio-visual media for planning included preparing the syllabus, lesson plans, creating learning materials in the form of learning videos, preparing audio-visual media instruments in the form of laptops or smartphones, and using the Whatsapp application. In terms of teacher implementation, the teacher inquires about students' well-being, requests that students pray before learning, attends to students, communicates learning objectives, sends material via Whatsapp, communicates material via video, and requests that students comprehend the material on the video. In terms of assessment, the teacher completes the learning materials, returns the evaluation task, and assigns homework.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the application of video-based interactive multimedia learning media assisted by the Powtoon application in science subjects (2) improving student learning outcomes through video-based interactive multimedia learning media assisted by the Powtoon application in science subjects for elementary school students. This research uses Classroom Action Research. The research objects are Class V elementary school students. Data sources in this research are interviews, observations, tests and documentation. The data in this research were analyzed using descriptive quantitative statistical analysis. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results obtained (1) through the application of Powtoon media can help teachers create interesting, unique and interactive learning media in the classroom learning process (2) Based on the results of the first cycle and second cycle tests, namely, from 25 students declared to meet the KKM. This research has implications that through the application of video-based interactive multimedia learning media, learning in the classroom takes place actively and interactively, students appear more enthusiastic and motivated to pay attention to what is displayed and explained directly by the teacher. This can certainly improve student learning outcomes, especially in Natural Sciences (Science) subjects.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) penerapan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif berbasis video berbantuan aplikasi powtoon pada mata pelajaran IPA (2) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif berbasis video berbantuan aplikasi powtoon pada mata pelajaran IPA Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Adapun objek penelitiannya adalah siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistic secara kuantitatif deskriptif.  Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan memperoleh hasil (1) melalui penerapan media powtoon dapat membantu guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran yang menarik, unik dan interaktif di dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas (2) Berdasarkan hasil tes siklus I dan siklus II yaitu, dari 25 orang siswa dinyatakan memenuhi KKM. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada melalui penerapan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif berbasis video, pembelajaran di dalam keilas beirlangsung seicara aktif dan inteiraktif siswa teirlihat leibih antusias dan teirmoitivasi untuk meimpeirhatikan apa yang ditampilkan dan dijeilaskan seicara langsung oileih guru. Hal ini tentunya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui video assited learning siswa kelas V selama program kampus mengajar di UPT SPF SD Inpres Pa’baeng-baeng Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus dengan desain kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dugunakan teknik kualitatif. Berdasakan hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui video assited learning siswa kelas V belum optimal. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 indikator pendidikan karakter yaitu religious, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab. Ketiga indicator pendidikan karakter ini belum seutuhnya ditanamkan pada kepribadian siswa kelas v, seperti  1) Religius: etika berdoa sebelum dan sesudah belajar masih ada yang bermain-main dan ada pula yang belum hafal doa belajar. 2) Disiplin: masih ada siswa ynag terlambat masuk kelas, tidak menyimak video pembelajaran yang ditampilkan dan membuang sampah sembarangan. 3) tanggung jawab: tidak menjaga kebersihan, tidak mengerjakan tugas, dan tidak melaksanakan tugas piket kelas yang telah ditentukan.  Guru harus menjadi tokoh yang menanamkan nilai-nilai terpuji bagi siswa, memperbaiki perilaku yang buruk menjadi benar dan menjelaskan apa yang harus dan tidak harus dilakukan dengan cara mengimplementasi 3 indikator religious, disiplin, serta tanggung jawab dalam mengatasi karakter-karakter siswa.This research aims to determine the implementation of strengthening character education through video assisted learning for class V students during the campus teaching program at UPT SPF SD Inpres Pa'baeng-baeng, Makassar City. This type of research is case study research with a qualitative design. The instruments used are interviews, observation, documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative techniques. Based on the research results, it is clear that the implementation of strengthening character education through video assisted learning for class V students is not optimal. In this research there are 3 indicators of character education, namely religion, discipline and responsibility. These three indicators of character education have not been fully embedded in the personalities of class V students, such as 1) Religious: the ethics of praying before and after studying, there are still those who play around and there are also those who have not memorized the study prayer. 2) Discipline: there are still students who are late for class, don't pay attention to the learning videos shown and throw rubbish carelessly. 3) responsibility: not maintaining cleanliness, not doing assignments, and not carrying out predetermined class picket duties. Teachers must be figures who instill commendable values in students, correct bad behavior into correct ones and explain what should and should not be done by implementing the 3 indicators of religion, discipline and responsibility in dealing with student characters.

Abstract

This research aims to; 1) find out the description of the use of the Quantum Teaching model on interest in learning science in class IV students of SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar, 2) find out the use of the Quantum Teaching learning model can affect interest in learning science in class IV students of SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar, 3) To knowing the role of the Quantum Teaching learning model can influence the interest in learning science in grade IV SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar. This type of research is quasi-experimental quantitative. The population and sample used in this study used total sampling so that 30 students were obtained from the total number of students. The instrument used was an interest learning questionnaire to find out the results of the scores in the form of observation sheets and multiple choice questions in pretest and posttest, data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations for students and teachers. The results of the study show that there is an influence of the quantum teaching-learning model on interest in learning science. There is an influence of the quantum teaching-learning model on interest in learning science in fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar, as evidenced by the hypothesis test, and it can be seen that the significant value of the interest in learning science is 0.003 <0.05. Then there is the influence of the quantum teaching-learning model on interest in learning science. Also seen from the t value, count 3.229 and table 0.444, so that it can be seen that the count value is 3.229 > 0.444, there is a significant influence of the quantum teaching-learning model on interest in learning science.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) to find out how the Discovery Learning model is applied in class V (2) to find out the increase in creativity of class V students (3) to find out the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 109 Inpres Lekoala Maros. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research object is the fifth grade students of SDN 109 Inpres Lekoala Maros. Data analysis in this study is observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive quantitative statistics. The results of the research carried out showed that (1) the application of the discovery learning model in science learning increased from the observations of teachers and students (2) the creativity questionnaire was distributed, the results in cycle I found an average value of 52.55% was stated to be less creative while in cycle II it is known that the average value of 80.30% is declared creative. (3) student learning outcomes in cycle I showed that the percentage of students whose grades were above the KKM only reached 52.25% so that they had not been able to reach the research success criteria. In cycle II the percentage of student scores above the KKM increased to 85%. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning learning model can increase creativity and science learning outcomes at SDN 109 Inpres Lekoala Maros.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) to problem solving skills in IPAS learning for grade V students at UPT SPF SD Negeri KIP Maccini and the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) on problem solving skills in IPAS learning for grade V students at UPT SPF SD Negeri KIP Maccini Makassar City. This type of research is experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design with a sample size of 22 students consisting of 15 male students and 7 female students using observation sheet instruments, tests, questionnaires and documentation. In this study using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis with the help of SPSS version 29. The results of this study indicate that after using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), the mean posttest test is 76.77 and the mean posttest questionnaire is 45.22. Based on the hypothesis test that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) has an effect on students' problem solving ability after a value of 0.000 <0.05 is obtained so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant effect of using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in IPAS learning on the problem solving ability of grade V students.

Abstract

The Effect of Games-Based Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model on Literacy and Numeracy of Class IV Students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Makassar City. This study aims to determine the effect of the games-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on literacy and numeracy of grade IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Makassar City school year 2024 odd semester. This type of research is experimental research designs one-group pretest-posttest. With the subject of this study were 24 UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III class IV students, of which 9 male students and 12 female. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data collected in the study were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, the average literacy pre-test before treatment was 60.95 while after treatment was 80.48. And the numeracy pre-test before being given the treatment was 65.24 while after being given the treatment was 89.52. Hypothesis testing of the experimental class obtained normality test is 0.163 which means very effective. Based on the results of the study, there is an effect of the games-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on literacy and numeracy of class IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the reality of teachers' pedagogic competence in optimizing student learning in the society 5.0 era and describe the inhibiting factors and supporting the pedagogic competence of teachers of SD Islam Darul Hikmah Makassar. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research informant used was a teacher of SD Islam Darul Hikmah. The data was analyzed qualitatively using data condensation, data presentation and drawing research conclusions. The results of the study show that: teachers of SD Islam Darul Hikmah Makassar need to have high pedagogic competence to face the challenges and opportunities offered by profound changes in the way of interacting with technology and information. Teachers' pedagogic competencies, including a deep understanding of effective teaching methods, the ability to design technology-based learning, and skills in evaluating and improving student learning, are key factors in improving the quality of education in primary schools. This research has implications for the importance of sustainable competency development for elementary school teachers in Makassar. Teacher training and competency development programs must be held regularly to ensure that teachers remain updated with developments in education and technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the syllabic method on reading difficulties in grade II students at SD Negeri 026 Banua – Baru, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The research method used is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research location was at SD Negeri 026 Banua – Baru, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province, with a sample of 20 grade II students consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls. Data collection was carried out using a pretest test and a posttest test. Instrument testing uses validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing in the form of a paired sample T-test. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained are hypothesis testing paired sample t-test showing that there is an effect of the syllabic method on reading difficulties in class II students at SD Negeri 026 Banua – Baru, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province, as evidenced by the results of the paired test. Sample t-test obtained a value of 0.001 < 0.05, in other words, this study has a significant effect. Keywords: Syllabic Method; Difficulty Reading.
