Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of digital leadership in education, tracing its development from the initial concept of e-leadership to Leadership 4.0 amid the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI). "A selection of relevant scientific publications from the period of 2010–2025 was systematically analyzed using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach were thematically analyzed to identify conceptual shifts, theoretical trends, practices, and implementation barriers. The findings reveal a paradigm transition from a technology-focused leadership to a strategic role emphasizing agility, data-driven innovation, and ethics. Modern digital leaders are no longer just technology managers but ecosystem orchestrators tasked with balancing technology, pedagogy, and equity to address infrastructural, capacity, and cultural challenges. Although theoretical frameworks like transformational and distributed leadership are widely used, longitudinal and comparative research remains limited. This review positions digital leadership as an adaptive, ethical, and systemic practice, proposing a future research agenda focused on theory integration, cultural diversification, human-centered ethics, and policy translation to build equitable and intelligent educational systems

Abstract

Abstract: The Reading And Interaction Console With Kinetic Intelligence – Braille prototype aims to introduce an innovative educational technology for blind students at SLB Negeri Kota Tanjungbalai. The school, under the authority of the Province of North Sumatra, has 111 students across elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels. SLBN Tanjungbalai is led by Mrs. Resti, S.Pd., supported by 13 teachers and 1 administrative staff member. This media integrates an interactive kinesthetic system, binary Braille sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI) capable of recognizing Braille letter patterns based on tactile input and providing real-time voice feedback. Braille letters are converted into six-dot binary codes (Braille-cell), such as A (100000), B (110000), C (100100), D (100110), up to Z (101011). These binary combinations are detected by tactile sensors or push buttons, then processed by an ESP32S connected to a 2004 LCD with I2C, a DFPlayer Mini, and a speaker to produce the corresponding letter sounds. The socialization activity was conducted at SDLB Negeri Kota Tanjungbalai, involving companion teachers and eight blind students. The activities included device demonstration, usage training, and interactive trials. The results show positive responses from both teachers and students, as the media enhances motivation, accuracy, and speed in learning Braille letters. RICKI-Braille proved to be more interactive and adaptive compared to conventional Braille learning media. Keywords: Braille; visually impaired; inclusive learning media; assistive technology inclusive education; Abstrak: Media Reading And Interaction Console With Kinetic Intelligence – Braille versi prototipe bertujuan memperkenalkan inovasi teknologi pendidikan bagi peserta didik tunanetra di SLB Negeri Kota Tanjungbalai. Huruf Braille dikonversi menjadi kode biner enam titik (Braille-cell), misalnya A (100000), B (110000), C (100100), D (100110), dan seterusnya hingga Z (101011).

Abstract

Abstract: Various types of toothbrushes are available for children with special needs, including manual toothbrushes with modified handles, electric toothbrushes, and U-shaped manual toothbrushes. Each toothbrush has inherent limitations that result in suboptimal tooth cleaning, particularly in children with mental disorders and/or fine motor skills. The objective of this study is to develop the potential of an automatic U-shaped toothbrush designed to address the specific oral hygiene needs of children with disabilities. The key scientific concepts that underpin the development of an automatic U-shaped toothbrush is an effective toothbrush for children with special needs, which is easy to use and optimal in removing debris and/or dental plaque. The results of the development of this study produced a prototype scale of the U-shaped toothbrush that simply by pressing one button can clean the entire surface of the teeth on the upper or lower jaw. In conclusion, this automatic U-shaped toothbrush is expected to be beneficial for children with poor fine motor skills, intellectual disabilities, or other special needs who have had difficulty cleaning their teeth properly.
