Abstract

The prevalence of smoking among adolescents aged 10-18 years in Indonesia continues to increase every year from 7.2% in 2013 to 9.1% in 2018. SKI data in 2023 shows that the number of active smokers is estimated to reach 70 million people, with 7.4% of them smokers aged 10-18 years. On the other hand, e-cigarette users among adolescents have increased in the last 4 years, rising from 0,3% in 2019 to 3% in 2021. The 2029 RPJMN mandates that the target prevalence of smokers aged 10-21 years is 6.9%. Meanwhile, Bappenas projects that the prevalence of adolescent smoking in Indonesia in 2030 can reach 16.96% if efforts to prevent and control smoking in adolescents are not carried out optimally. The impact of smoking behavior is not only on individual health, but also public health, potentially triggering chronic diseases, increasing health costs, and threatening the welfare of future generations, especially the Golden Indonesia in 2045. The purpose of this research is as an effort to plan a follow-up to the development of screening and efforts to quit adolescent smoking in schools that are more innovative and attractive to adolescents. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study research design using a policy alternative analysis matrix. There are 17 references used. The stages of the Systematic Literature Review are divided into 4 stages, namely Planning (designing review questions and planning methods), Data Collection (keyword search, title and abstract screening, filtering & assessment, data extraction), Analysis Stage (descriptive and thematic analysis), then ending with Synthesis (discussion). By synthesizing research results through a systematic review approach and presenting them in the form of actionable messages (policy brief and policy paper), more conclusive, comprehensive and balanced facts can be conveyed to stakeholders.

Knowledge, attitudes, behavior and family support are some of the factors that can trigger blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus sufferers. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to efforts to control blood sugar levels in patients Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 at Puskesmas Kalirejo in 2024. This study uses a quantitative research type with a cross-sectional research design. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 78 respondents. Data analysis with univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between Knowledge (p = 0.000), Attitude (p = 0.011), family support (p = 0.037) with efforts to control blood sugar levels in patients Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. Knowledge is most strongly related to efforts to control blood sugar levels in patients Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, namely Diabetes Mellitus patients who have less knowledge are 22 times more likely to be at risk of lack of efforts to control blood sugar levels in patients DM Type 2.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to analyse the relationship between fly density and ownership of healthy latrines to the incidence of diarrhoea at Puskesmas Air Hitam, West Lampung District. The method used was quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach, involving 88 respondents selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected through interviews and direct observation, and analysed using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between variables. The results showed that out of 81 respondents, 62 (76.5%) experienced diarrhoea, while 19 (23.5%) did not. There was a significant relationship between fly density and the incidence of diarrhoea with a p value = 0.020, and an odds ratio (OR) of 2.536, indicating that the risk of diarrhoea increased with increasing fly density. In addition, ownership of healthy latrines plays an important role in preventing the spread of disease. This study emphasises the importance of improving environmental sanitation and hygiene to reduce the incidence of diarrhoea in the community..
