<![CDATA[The increase in the number of homosexuals in various countries should make the church more ready to help them. The church cannot just sit around and do nothing. It is precisely the church whose function is in pastoral care that must begin to think about what strategies can help the congregation who has homosexual behavior. The purpose of this research is to help pastors understand what to do when dealing with a congregation that behaves in this way. The research method used is research with a qualitative approach through literature study. And the results of this study show positive results and can be implemented by churches around the world. There is some knowledge that must be possessed by a shepherd related to theology that must be understood, and the process and strategies of shepherding that must be carried out. Therefore, the results of this research will be used for pastoral ministry in churches.Peningkatan jumlah kaum homosek di berbagai Negara seharusnya membuat gereja semakin siap untuk menolong mereka. Gereja tidak bisa hanya berdiam saja dan tidak melakukan apa-apa. Justru gereja yang fungsinya dalam penggembalaan harus mulai memikirkan strategi apa yang bisa menolong jemaat yang memiliki perilaku homoseksual tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menolong para gembala memahami apa yang harus dilakukan ketika menghadapi jemaat yang berperilaku demikian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka. Dan hasil penelitian ini positif dan dapat dilaksanakan oleh gereja-gereja di dunia. Ada beberapa pengetahuan yang harus dimiliki oleh gembala berkaitan dengan teologi yang harus dipahami, proses dan strategi penggembalaan yang harus dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini akan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pelayanan penggembalaan di gereja-gereja.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of interfaith marriage continues to occur in the midst of the plurality of Indonesian society. This of course can affect the faith of young Christians, if they choose the wrong life partner. Parents are obliged to educate their children according to the Christian faith. The choice of a life partner for young Christian youths should be in line with God's design for their lives, so that the future of the new family will inherit the Christian faith. The author conducted library research to collect information about the role of parents in educating children and choosing a life partner according to the Christian faith. The results of the study state that the part of parents is to educate their children to fear God, to be obedient in doing His will, and always to hope and rely on God; will form the divine character in the person of a child. So that in the end they can choose a life partner correctly and can make the decision to commit to marriage, according to the advice of their parents and the leading of the Holy Spirit in their life.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) in the digital era has become a serious challenge impacting the mental health of church members, leading to anxiety, stress, and even depression if not properly addressed. This study aims to understand the impact of FOMO and explore the strategies and programs of churches in supporting the mental health and spiritual well-being of their congregants. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature review and a brief survey method. It identifies various efforts that churches can take to address FOMO. The results indicate that churches can mitigate the effects of FOMO by building a social support system that fosters closeness among church members, including spiritual retreats, workshops, counseling services, and mentoring programs. These findings provide practical guidance for churches to strengthen the Christian community as a safe and supportive place for individuals struggling with FOMO. To implement this, churches can form specialized support groups, integrate education about FOMO into sermons and discipleship classes, and wisely use digital media to create a more interactive and supportive community. Thus, the church plays an active role in creating a more inclusive, loving environment that promotes the holistic well-being of its members amid the challenges of the digital era.]]>

<![CDATA[Sebagai orang tua yang mempunyai anak berketubuhan khusus, mereka diperhadapkan dengan berbagai masalah khususnya krisis emosi. Kondisi emosi yang dialami akan jauh berbeda bila dibandingkan ketika mereka menghadapi anak normal lainnya. Oleh karena itu, sebagai orang tua yang mempunyai anak berkebutuhan khusus, mereka harus bisa melakukan proses manajemen emosi dengan baik. Manajemen Emosi merupakan sebuah pola atau gaya seseorang didalam mengelola emosi yang timbul dalam dirinya. Jadi manajemen emosi adalah kesanggupan dari seseorang di dalam menguasai, menerima dan mengendalikan emosi. Untuk itulah peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti bagaimana manajemen emosi orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus perspektif iman kristiani. Disini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif deskiptif yang artinya peneliti menggunakan studi literatur/kepustakaan dan ditambah proses wawancara yang dilakukan kepada dua orang tua kristen yang mempunyai anak berkebutuhan khusus.Dimana tujuan dari penelitian ini dapat membantu orang tua dari anak berkebutuhan khusus semakin mengerti bagaimana melakukan manajemen emosi yang baik, sehingga orang tua bisa mengelola emosi yang timbul dari dalam dirinya ketika berinteraksi dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[Remaja berusia 12 hingga 21 tahun rentan terhadap kecanduan karena tingginya paparan teknologi dan interaksi sosial dalam dunia maya. Dampak negatif kecanduan ini meliputi gangguan kesehatan, gangguan psikologis, penurunan prestasi akademik, lemahnya huhungan sosial serta serta adana pemborosan keuangan. Artikel ini menjelaskan peran keteladanan orang tua sebagai upaya preventif ketergantungan pada pada remaja. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, studi yang menganalisis materi dari buku dan jurnal yang relevan. Keteladanan orang tua mencakup pengajaran nilai-nilai spiritual, membangun mezbah doa keluarga, membangun komunikasi yang efektif, pengaturan waktu digital yang bijak, partisipasi dalam aktivitas anak, menciptakan lingkuran ruamha yang positif, mengedukasi anak tentang bahaya kecanduan, Konsistensi dalam mendisiplinkan anak, dan menjadi panutan dalam aspek kerohanian dan sosial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran aktif dan teladan hidup orang tua sangat penting dalam pencegahan supaya anak tidak kecanduan .]]>

<![CDATA[The separation of worship between parents and children in church has a positive side, namely allowing teaching to be adjusted to the developmental level of each age. However, this separation also has an inappropriate impact, because it reduces spiritual interaction in the family and weakens the role of parents as role models of faith. The available parenting programs are generally cognitive in nature and are not accompanied by practical guidance in building the family's spiritual life. As a result, children often do not see the direct application of faith in the household, which is not in line with the principles in Deuteronomy 6:6–7. This study aims to identify challenges in family ministry and formulate integrative strategies. The methods used are literature studies and conceptual analysis of existing practices. The results of the study indicate that family-based ministry has a positive impact on children's faith growth and parental involvement. Three main strategies are proposed: Cross-Generational Worship, Family Devotion through home-based cell groups, and Applicable Spiritual Mentoring. These strategies help the church form spiritually intact families and produce generations rooted in God's word.]]>

<![CDATA[History records that there are several systems of Church government namely: First, the system of government of the Episcopal Church; second, The system of government of the Presbyterian Church; third, the system of government of the Congregational Church; Fourth, There is no system of Church government. All its management activities move by relying on the Holy Spirit. P there was a session of the GBI Synod in 2021 which it was stated that the Indonesian Bethel Church (GBI) stated that it adheres to the system of government of the Synodal Pastoral Church. The system of government of the Synodal Pastoral Church is a system of Church government that gives autonomous rights to the pastors of the congregation to administer their local Church. What is the biblical basis of the Synodal Pastoral Church's system of government? It is this policy that has implications for the decision of the pastors of the local Church congregation to remain faithful to join this GBI synod until its old age because its leadership can be passed on to the next generation in accordance with the expectations of the pastors of the local Church congregation. With the loyalty of the congregational pastors, it will lead to the enlargement of the second largest GBI synod in Indonesia. Sejarah mencatat ada beberapa sistem pemerintahan Gereja yaitu: Pertama, Sistem pemerintahan Gereja Episkopal; kedua, Sistem pemerintahan Gereja Presbiterian; ketiga, sistem pemerintahan Gereja Kongregasional; Keempat, Tidak ada sistem pemerintahan Gereja. Semua aktifitas manajemennya bergerak dengan mengandalkan Roh Kudus. Pada sidang Sinode GBI tahun 2021 yang lalu telah dicetuskan bahwa Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) menyatakan menganut sistem pemerintahan Gereja Pastoral Sinodal. Sistem pemerintahan Gereja Pastoral Sinodal adalah sistem pemerintahan Gereja yang memberikan hak otonom kepada para gembala sidang untuk mengelola Gereja lokalnya. Bagaimanakah landasan Alkitab sistem pemerintahan Gereja Pastoral Sinodal? Kebijakan inilah yang berimplikasi kepada keputusan para gembala sidang Gereja lokal untuk tetap setia bergabung dalam sinode GBI ini hingga masa tuanya karena kepemimpinannya dapat diturunkan kepada generasi selanjutnya yang sesuai dengan harapan gembala sidang Gereja lokal. Dengan adanya kesetiaan para gembala sidang maka akan berujung pada pembesaran sinode GBI terbesar kedua di Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi pengerja gereja dalam melakukan kunjungan pastoral di gereja-gereja aliran Pentakosta Kharismatik. Kunjungan pastoral, yang seharusnya menjadi bagian integral dari pelayanan gereja, sering kali diabaikan atau dilakukan dengan kurang antusias. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan metode kateketika sebagai strategi untuk memotivasi pengerja gereja dalam meningkatkan frekuensi dan kualitas kunjungan pastoral. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, mengkaji literatur teologis terkait metode kateketika dan pengaruhnya dalam pelayanan pastoral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode kateketika secara sistematis mampu meningkatkan pemahaman teologis pengerja gereja tentang pentingnya kunjungan pastoral, serta memotivasi mereka melalui pengajaran teologis dan pengalaman rohani yang dipimpin oleh Roh Kudus. Peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas kunjungan pastoral tercermin dari penerapan metode ini, yang memperlihatkan keberhasilan dalam memotivasi pengerja gereja untuk lebih konsisten dalam melaksanakan tugas pastoral mereka.]]>
