Abstract

This study investigates the role and implementation of collaborative governance in the development of creative economy groups in rural areas. Collaboration between various parties including government, the private sector, and civil society is considered an important foundation in accelerating the growth and sustainability of the creative economy sector. This research will carry out an in-depth analysis of the structure and dynamics of collaboration between parties involved in the process of developing creative economy groups. The methodology of this study includes surveys, interviews, and documentation analysis to obtain a holistic understanding of how collaborative governance is applied in decision-making, strategic planning, and program implementation in the development of creative economy groups. Apart from that, supporting factors and obstacles that influence the effectiveness of collaborative governance in this context will also be considered. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide in-depth insight into the best strategies for optimizing collaborative governance in supporting the growth of creative economy groups. It is hoped that the implications of these findings can become the basis for more effective policies and practices in supporting the development of the creative economy sector at the local, regional, and national levels.

Abstract

This service activity is motivated by the lack of ability of the Village Government and Village Apparatus to lead and manage digital-based villages in Pamokolan Village. This activity includes Digital Leadership training in Pamokolan Village, Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency. This training is designed to equip village officials with the knowledge and skills needed in the digital era, including the use of information and communication technology (ICT) for administrative management, village community services, and data-based decision-making. The methods used in this training include lectures, discussions, and direct practice with digital devices. The participants were introduced to the basic concepts of digital leadership, digital applications that are relevant to village government, as well as strategies for implementing technology in daily website-based activities. The evaluation was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion with all Village Officials and the Head of Pamokolan Village. The results of this service activity show a significant increase in the understanding and ability of village officials to use digital technology and an increase in the Village Head's understanding of the importance of data. Participants can apply the knowledge gained to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of village operations and services to village communities. This training also strengthens village readiness in facing challenges and opportunities in the digital era, as well as improving the quality of public services to the community.

Abstract

Cisadap village, which is located in Ciamis sub-district, Ciamis district, has a very large rice field area and the majority of the people are farmers. Cisadap Village consists of six hamlets with 6 farmer groups in each hamlet. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of empowering farmer groups in increasing agricultural production in Cisadap Village. The empowerment program implemented includes technical training, agricultural counseling, as well as providing tools and materials needed for modern agricultural practices. The research method used is a qualitative approach with interviews and observation as data collection techniques. The research results show that the active participation of farmer group members in training and use of agricultural technology has had a positive impact on increasing production yields. In addition, increased managerial skills and access to resources support the success of this program. These findings indicate that empowerment of farmer groups, if carried out comprehensively and sustainably, can significantly increase agricultural productivity at the village level. This study provides recommendations for implementing similar models in other regions to support food security and farmer welfare.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the non-optimal management of the Village Market in increasing Village Original Income by the Bentar Village Government, Salem District, Brebes Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative research method. Data collection techniques in this research include literature study, field study (observation and interviews) and documentation. The informants in this study were 7 people. The data analysis technique in this research is by condensing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.       The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Informants as many as 7 people. Data collection techniques are literature study, field study (observation and interviews) and documentation. The author uses qualitative data analysis techniques through processing data from interviews and observations to draw conclusions so as to answer the problems in the study. The results showed that the Village Market Management strategy in Increasing Village Original Income in Bentar Village, Salem District, Brebes Regency has been running, but it is not optimal because problems are still found including: An incomplete organisational structure and limited facilities and infrastructure. Implementation that is not in accordance with planning and the absence of management training activities. No regular and programmed supervision and evaluation. Abstract

Empowerment of Youth through Karang Taruna Organization in Dewasari Village, Cijeungjing Sub-District, Ciamis Regency. This research aims to evaluate youth empowerment through Karang Taruna in Dewasari Village, Cijeungjing Sub-District, Ciamis Regency. The research method employed was qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving 12 informants including village officials and Karang Taruna administrators. The findings indicate that youth empowerment by Karang Taruna in Dewasari Village has been initiated but not yet optimal according to empowerment theory. Challenges identified include low youth interest in training, lack of awareness about the importance of organizations, and constraints in entrepreneurship and funding. Efforts to address these barriers involve more intensive approaches, enhanced socialization and networking, and knowledge enhancement through seminars, workshops, and training sessions. Additionally, providing financial support is crucial to enhance empowerment effectiveness. This study provides insights into real challenges faced in enhancing youth participation in community development. By implementing appropriate strategies, it is expected that youth empowerment through Karang Taruna will become more effective and significantly contribute to Dewasari village's progress.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the non-optimal public services at the Sukajadi Village head office, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative research method. Data collection techniques in this study are literature study, field study (observation and interviews) and documentation. The informants in this study were 7 people. Data analysis techniques in this study use data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. This study aims to determine how the quality of public services in the office of the village head of Sukajadi, Sadananya sub-district, Ciamis Regency. The author uses qualitative data analysis techniques through data processing of interview results and observation results to draw conclusions so as to answer the problems in the study. The results showed that public services in the office of the head of Sukajadi Village, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency have been running but not optimal because problems are still found, namely: The discipline of officers who are still low in providing services to the community, the Village E-Office application has not been operated in services, there is still a lack of accuracy / caution of officers in processing services, and there are still delays in the service process being carried out.Keywords: Service Quality, Public Services, Administrative Services, Village, Village Government

Abstract

Optimization of community empowerment through mushroom cultivation has a major problem, namely the lack of implementation of digital marketing strategies in oyster mushroom cultivation to increase market access, sales efficiency, and production capacity. With the implementation of digital marketing strategies, the Sukahurip II Farmer Group can promote their products more widely, effectively, reach a larger market and increase sales. The methods used include training and assistance in the use of digital platforms such as social media, e-commerce, and online marketing applications. The results of this implementation show that with the support of digital marketing, the community is able to increase income, expand customer networks, and strengthen their position in the market. This study provides practical guidance for the implementation of digital marketing strategies in oyster mushroom cultivation businesses, as well as providing recommendations for the development of similar empowerment models in other sectors.

Abstract

Desa adalah kesatuan masyarakat hukum yang memiliki batas wilayah yang berwenang untuk mengatur dan mengurus urusan pemerintahan, kepentingan masyarakat berdasarkan Prakarsa Masyarakat, hak asal usul, dan/atau hak tradisional yang diakui dan dihormati dalam system pemerintahan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Desa Sadewata, yang terletak di Kecamatan Lumbung, Kabupaten Ciamis, memiliki potensi wisata alam yaitu Situhiyang. Situhiyang memiliki keindahan alam atau destinasi wisata yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi daya tarik wisata berbasis ekowisata. Melihat potensi dan pemandangan alam situhiyang yang indah, mengantarkan kami tim pengabdian kepada Masyarakat untuk membantu mengembangkan potensi alam tersebut. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kami berinisiatif untuk mengadakan pelatihan ekowisata berkelanjutan untuk Masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata alam di Desa Sadewata Kecamatan Lumbung Kabupaten Ciamis. Melalui kegiatan pengebdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi keilmuan secara praktis dan teoritis kepada Masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi alam khususnya pengembangan ekowisata, dalam pengelolaan sumber daya, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini, masyarakat Desa Sadewata Kecamatan Lumbung mampu memahami konsep ekowisata, menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, dapat lebih mandiri dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata lokal dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan wisata.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan kegiatan ekonomi yang berdampak pada penurunan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat perdesaan. Hal tersebut juga berdampak pada Lembaga Masyarakat Desa Hutan (LMDH) Maju Lestari yang berlokasi di Desa Sukamaju Kecamatan Cihaurbeuti Kabupaten Ciamis yang mengalami penurunan pendapatan dari hasil hutan. Tahapan yang telah dilaksanakan dalam skema Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Galuh, yaitu: (1) tahap persiapan; (2) tahap pengkajian; (3) tahap perencanaan program; (4) tahap implementasi program; dan (5) tahap evaluasi program. Pelaksanaan PKM ini telah dilaksanakan dengan hasil, sebagai berikut: (1) adanya inisiatif untuk melakukan branding image; (2) peningkatan pengetahuan LMDH tentang budidaya lebah trigona; dan (3) inisiasi pengembangan budidaya lebah trigona berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The problem phenomenon faced by Micro Businesses is the limited ability to enter a larger and wider trade chain system, so that opportunities to develop are limited both in terms of market competition and business product innovation. The aim of the research is to carry out an analysis of the Formulation of Micro Business Development Strategies by the Ciamis Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives and Trade Service. The method uses a descriptive qualitative research design, by obtaining data from the results of field studies and literature studies. Data analysis using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research show that the formulation of the Micro Business Development Strategy by the Ciamis Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives and Trade Service has not been implemented optimally, because there are problems with data on Micro Business actors in Ciamis Regency which have not produced accurate data. Officers are limited in carrying out Micro Business development because it is not proportional to the number of Micro Business actors. The management budget for empowering micro businesses is less than the budget for facilitating business permits.
