Abstract

Quinolones are heterocyclic compounds that are important in medicine and materials for DSSCs or OLEDs. One thing that is rarely studied is the ability to detect metal ions. Diazo groups have an important role in forming complexes with metal ions. This research aims to obtain initial information regarding the metal detection capabilities of diazo quinolinone compounds. The compound 7-[(2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)diazenyl]-4-methyl-2-quinolinone is the test target. Tests were carried out with various metal ions in MeOH. Next, the wavelength of the complex was determined using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results of complex analysis of Compound 2 with various metal ions show the potential to be an indication of the presence of metal ions.

Abstract

One way to realize a golden future of achievement in the millennial era is to explore the potential of the nation's generation, which can be done from an early age, especially at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the extracurricular art of reading the Qur'an at MI MAS and to find out the obstacles in the implementation of the extracurricular art of reading the Qur'an.This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through Observation, Interviews, and Documentation. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis in the field uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing (verification). Data validity techniques use source triangulation.The implementation of the extracurricular art of reading the Qur'an at MI MAS was carried out in 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. In the preparation aspect, educators prepare and plan activities that will be carried out by students. In the implementation process, educators begin activities by writing down the formula of the song that will be learned by students and writing it on the board. In the evaluation stage, practicing the songs that have been taught using different verses of the Qur'an from those taught by educators. The obstacle in implementing the extracurricular art of reading the Qur'an is that lower-class students are still very difficult to condition, making the process of learning the art of reading the Qur'an less than optimal.

Abstract

Perairan pesisir Indonesia memiliki keanekaragaman hayati laut yang tinggi dan berpotensi sebagai sumber bioprospeksi mikroorganisme penghasil senyawa antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi bakteri asosiasi karang lunak Sarcophyton sp. serta menguji aktivitas antagonismenya terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Sampel karang lunak dikoleksi dari Pantai Obongan, Paciran, Lamongan, Jawa Timur, dan penelitian dilaksanakan pada Februari–Mei 2025. Isolasi bakteri dilakukan menggunakan teknik surface imprint pada media Zobell agar, diikuti pemurnian dan karakterisasi morfologi koloni serta pewarnaan Gram. Aktivitas antibakteri diuji menggunakan metode difusi cakram dengan kloramfenikol sebagai kontrol positif. Hasil penelitian memperoleh empat isolat bakteri dengan variasi karakter morfologi dan tipe Gram. Dari seluruh isolat yang diuji, hanya isolat CJ yang menunjukkan aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dengan diameter zona hambat berkisar antara 4,38–4,89 mm dan dikategorikan sebagai aktivitas lemah. Isolat lainnya tidak menunjukkan pembentukan zona hambat, sedangkan kontrol positif menghasilkan zona hambat sebesar 12,25–14,45 mm. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bakteri asosiasi karang lunak Sarcophyton sp. memiliki potensi awal sebagai sumber antibakteri alami, meskipun aktivitas yang terdeteksi masih rendah.
