Abstract

Abstract: The development of the 21st century presents challenges for the education sector to produce globally competitive human resources. One crucial demand in 21st-century learning is the cultivation of character. Character is a key aspect in education, and one of them is the character of love for one's homeland. National education in Indonesia faces complexity in addressing students' character issues, including the lack of love for the homeland character among students. This research aims to find appropriate solutions, identify root problems, and discover ways to strengthen the character of love for the homeland among students. The method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, aiming to understand and study human life experiences and seek the essence of those experiences. The research findings show that character encompasses values that govern all aspects of life. The formation of the character of love for the homeland is vital for nation-building. Nationalism and love for one's homeland reflect loyalty, concern, and appreciation for the country and its culture. History education is considered a means to instill nationalism and love for the homeland values in students. Proper history learning can develop a sense of nationalism and love for one's homeland. Teachers play a crucial role in the success of history learning and the formation of the character of love for the homeland in students. By integrating effective history learning and the cultivation of the character of love for the homeland, it is hoped that students will become citizens with a nationalist spirit, caring for their nation and ready to face future challenges. Abstrak: Perkembangan abad ke-21 menghadirkan tantangan bagi dunia pendidikan untuk menghasilkan SDM yang kompetitif secara global. Salah satu tuntutan penting dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21 adalah pembentukan karakter. Karakter menjadi aspek kunci dalam pendidikan, dan salah satunya adalah karakter cinta tanah air. Pendidikan nasional di Indonesia menghadapi kompleksitas dalam mengatasi masalah karakter siswa, termasuk rendahnya karakter cinta tanah air pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi yang sesuai, mengidentifikasi akar masalah, dan menemukan solusi untuk menguatkan karakter cinta tanah air pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, yang bertujuan untuk memahami dan mempelajari pengalaman hidup manusia serta mencari hakikat pengalaman tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter merupakan nilai-nilai perilaku manusia yang meliputi segala aspek kehidupan. Pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air sangat penting dalam pembangunan bangsa. Nasionalisme dan cinta tanah air mencerminkan kesetiaan, kepedulian, dan penghargaan terhadap negara dan budaya bangsa. Pendidikan sejarah dianggap sebagai sarana untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan cinta tanah air pada siswa. Pembelajaran sejarah yang tepat dapat mengembangkan semangat nasionalisme dan cinta pada tanah air. Guru memiliki peran krusial dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran sejarah dan pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air pada siswa. Dengan mengintegrasikan pembelajaran sejarah yang efektif dan pembentukan karakter cinta tanah air, diharapkan siswa akan menjadi warga negara yang berjiwa nasionalis, peduli terhadap bangsa dan negaranya, dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the introduction of Nyi Ageng Serang's leadership values as an effort to build the character of the nation's next generation. Building character according to the character of the Indonesian nation is very important considering the increasingly development of technology that will affect the character of the nation's next generation. For this reason, the Community Service Team collaborated with schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta to introduce local heroes who were made National heroes, one of which was Nyi Ageng Serang. The stages carried out in community service begin with observation, coordination, execution and evaluation. This community service uses lecture and discussion methods. From this community service, students who will become the next generation of the nation are starting to have an interest in getting to know and deepen local heroes who have become national heroes such as Nyi Ageng Serang.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the implementation of the pre-colonial hajj, 2) to find out the implementation of the hajj during the VOC era, 3) to find out the implementation of the hajj during the Dutch colonial era, 4) to find out the hajj according to Snouck Hurgronje's view. This study uses a historical research method with heuristic, interpretation, verification, and historiography steps. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The hajj began in the 15th century, but there has been no evidence to support this, in addition, the hajj began with traders who traded in the Middle East; 2) the rules for carrying out the hajj were tightened because of the VOC's fear that the Nusantara community would be influenced; 3) The emergence of hajj regulations with passports, sufficient financially for people who will go on the hajj and for the families left behind; 4) The Nusantara community went to perform the hajj of their own accord because they would receive the honor.

Abstract

The Lempar Dawet tradition, a unique rain-inducing ritual practiced in Medang Kamulan hamlet, is deeply rooted in the community's history and cultural values. This qualitative study employed observation, interviews, and documentation, alongside a review of relevant literature, to examine the tradition from multiple perspectives. The Lempar Dawet tradition, originating in the Hindu-Buddhist era, has undergone cultural adaptation with the advent of Islam, while retaining its core essence as a communal response to drought. The study delves into the intricate procedures of the tradition, highlighting the importance of using homemade dawet and the inclusive participation of all community members in the dawet throwing procession. Furthermore, the research uncovers the tradition's inherent character education values, encompassing religiosity, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity, which can be harnessed for educational purposes. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the Lempar Dawet tradition, its cultural significance, and its potential as a source of character development and environmental adaptation strategies. By shedding light on this unique practice, the study underscores the importance of preserving local wisdom and cultural heritage in an ever-changing world.

Abstract

Nilem fish (Osteochilus vittatus) is a fish native to eastern Indonesia. People in general like nilem fish due to many factors. The demand for nilem fish increases every year. This increase in demand must be accompanied by an increase in reproductive performance so that the stock of nilem fish is always maintained. Reproduction is the ability of an individual to produce offspring. There are several factors that greatly influence reproductive success, including environmental factors and food. Food content that is high in protein can improve fish reproductive performance. Spirulina platensis is a type of blue green algae that can live in fresh and brackish waters. The content of macromolecules and micromolecules in spirulina is very high. The protein contained in spirulina ranges from 55-65%, 5-7% fat, while the micromolecules contain 6-13% amino acids, 5% minerals. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design method with four treatments and four replications. The results of this research are that the addition of spirulina flour has a good effect on the morphoanatomical response of nilem fish. Giving spirulina flour had a real effect on GSI, HSI and fish weight, while fish length, fecundity and VSI had no real effect. The optimum dose in this study was P2 30g spirulina flour in 1 kg fish feed. Based on this research, feeding spirulina supplementation can increase the reproductive response of nilem fish

Abstract

North Korea is a country located in the East Asia region. North Korea is one of the countries that is developing nuclear. The development of nuclear power has become a problem of security stability in the East Asia region and its surroundings, causing strong criticism from several countries such as the United States and even the UN Security Council. The purpose of this study is to find out 1) The relationship between North Korea and the United States in history; 2) The policies of the United States government before Trump; 3) The policies of the Trump government to stabilize the East Asia region. This study uses a historical approach to literature study. The results of the research discussion 1) North Korea is a country that was formed as a result of World War II. The Korean War sparked because of the dispute between the United States (South Korea) and the Soviet Union (North Korea) there was no peace but the two countries made a ceasefire agreement; 2) Before Trump became president, previous presidents had policies to reduce the nuclear power owned by North Korea such as President Clinton with the agreed framework, President George W Bush with the Six-Party Talks, President Barack Obama with "Strategic Patience"; 3) During the Donald Trump administration, the policy through Trump's harsh criticism speech to North Korea, Maximum pressure and high-level diplomacy became one of the policies issued by Trump. In addition, Trump also conducted High-Level Diplomacy Trump met directly with the North Korean government Kim Jong-un to reduce North Korea's nuclear.

Abstract

PLTA Ketenger merupakan salah satu pembangkit listrik tenaga air yang dibangun pada masa kolonial Belanda dan masih beroprasi hingga saat ini. Terletak di Desa Melung, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Banyumas, pembangkit ini menjadi bukti kemajuan dan modernitas infrastruktur ketenagalistrikan yang mampu bertahan dan menyesuaikan diri dengan kebutuhan zaman. Penelitian ini berfokus pada sejarah berdirinya PLTA Ketenger, perkembangannya pada periode 1998-2008, serta peran pembangkit ini terhadap masyarakat disekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari emapt tahapan yaitu, heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun merupakan penginggalan kolonial, PLTA Ketenger tetap berfungsi secara optimal dibawah pengelolaan Unit Bisnis Pembangkit (UBP) Mrica. Pada periode 1998-2008, PLTA Ketenger menunjukkan peran strategis dalam mendukung distribusi energi listrik untuk wilayah Jawa bagian Tengah melalui Gardu Induk Kalibakal. Selain itu pembangkit ini juga memberikan kontribusi bagi masyarakat sekitar seperi dalam bidang ekononi, sosial, dan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, PLTA Ketenger tidak hanya menjadi bagian dari warisan sejarah kolonial, tetapi juga bertransformasi menjadi simbol modrnisasi dalam pengembangan Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pada saat pembelajaran sejarah berlangsung masih banyak peserta didik sering menunjukkan ketidakaktifan selama pelajaran dan sering kali kurang percaya diri untuk mengartikulasikan ide-ide mereka. Peserta didik juga kurang fokus dan tidak memperhatikan saat guru sedang menjelaskan materi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) mengetahui implementasi model collaborative learning pada pembelajaran sejarah kurikulum merdeka kelas XI di MAN 2 Banyumas. (2) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model collaborative learning pada mata pelajaran sejarah. (3) mengetahui apa saja kendala dan upaya mengatasinya dalam pelaksanaan model collaborative learning pada pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian diperoleh Implementasi Model Collaborative Learning Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah Kurikulum Merdeka Kelas XI di MAN 2 Banyumas Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025, diantaranya (1) Implementasi collaborative learning yang diterapkan yaitu dengan cara memakai berbagai metode pembelajaran yang terdapat kegiatan berkelompok di dalamnya baik itu kelompok besar atau kelompok kecil. (2) Hasil belajar peserta didik baik nilai kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik melalui model collaborative learning menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterlibatan peserta didik dan kinerja akademik dalam pembelajaran sejarah. (3) Kendala pertama adalah adanya peserta didik yang terlalu mendominasi dalam diskusi kelompok. Kendala ini diatasi dengan cara guru memberi tahu peserta didik jika penilaian tetap dinilai secara individual tergantung partisipasi aktif peserta didik dan guru juga dapat memakai metode pembelajaran yang mengharuskan peserta didik tetap harus berpikir kritis secara individual.
