Abstract

The research aims to determine the direct and indirect influence of mathematical anxiety, logical-mathematical intelligence, and critical thinking abilities on the learning outcomes acquired by students. Many things affect the teaching and learning process, both from outside the student's environment and from within the student himself. The unpreparedness of external and internal factors will create obstacles in the learning process of the student, which will then affect their learning outcomes. These include mathematical anxiety, mathematical logical intelligence, and critical thinking abilities. Students who experience mathematical anxiety tend to avoid conditions where they feel threatened and stressed. Of course, these people will think or assume negative thoughts about themselves. Mathematical logical intelligence plays a significant role for students in understanding abstract mathematics lessons. The challenge in the world of education is that it requires students to think at higher levels (HOTs). Critical thinking is a logical and natural thinking process that already exists in a person when facing changes in all sectors of life. The method used in this research is structural equation modeling (SEM), which will look at direct and indirect effects. The research results show that 1) mathematics anxiety has a significant positive influence on critical thinking abilities; 2) logical-mathematical intelligence has a significant positive influence on critical thinking abilities; 3) critical thinking skills have a significant positive influence on student learning outcomes; 4) mathematics anxiety has a significant positive influence on student learning outcomes; 5) logical-mathematical intelligence has a significant positive influence on student learning outcomes; 6) mathematics anxiety has a significant positive influence on student learning outcomes through critical thinking skills; and 7) logical-mathematical intelligence has an insignificant positive influence on student learning outcomes through critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine quality control, the most dominant types of defects, the causes of defects, and determine strategies to improve the quality of meat products at The Foodhall Plaza Indonesia. The data used is secondary data in the form of an existing database of goods received from May to June 2023 sourced from the Foodhall Plaza Indonesia SAP application, which will be analyzed using statistical aids in the form of control charts and seven tools, namely checking sheets, histograms, proportion control maps, process capability, Pareto diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the capability value of each product damage was negative, indicating that the process was not capable and outside the specification limits. Meat quality control at The Foodhall Plaza Indonesia is within control limits, where based on the Pareto diagram it is obtained that the dominant type of defect in product defects due to damaged packaging is 49.3%, black meat defects are 27.6%, and meat releases water by 23.1%, with the factors that cause defects coming from human resources, machinery, and work environment to work methods. Then, recommendations for quality improvement strategies are made, such as forming a quality control team; leaders always provide direction; enforce a reward and punishment system; and provide regular job training to improve skills and minimize errors

Abstract

Kata Kunci:Suhu Udara, Data Hilang, Metode Yates Abstract:Air temperature greatly affects human activities, so humans must know the temperature in certain areas to prepare themselves before doing activities outside. To measure the temperature of an area, air temperature measurement is carried out. However, temperature measurement does not always go as planned. Several problems sometimes occur, such as unobserved measurement results, inadequate facilities, and other factors. This creates an issue called missing data. Based on the data obtained from Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (Indonesian: Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika, abbreviated as BMKG) region II, two areas have experienced a case of missing data (Masgar Climatology Station and Lampung Maritime Station). The missing data must be replaced before conducting further analysis so that the data obtained is accurate and valid. The method of estimating missing data in this study follows the Yates method that minimizes the number of squares errors. The estimation of missing data at the Masgar Climatology Station indicates that there was a case of missing data in September 2015. Meanwhile, there was a case of missing data in November 2016 at the Lampung Maritime Station. The findings indicate that the estimated missing data obtained at Masgar Climatology Station in September 2015 was 27,1˚C while the estimated missing data obtained at Stasiun Maritim Lampung in November 2016 was 29,7˚C. Keywords:Air Temperature, Missing Data, Yates Method
