Abstract

The Impact of the Rural Agribusiness Business Program (PUAP) on the level of income of farmers that aims to: (1) To determine the level of success of the implementation of the PUAP program in Tebing Tinggi Pangkat Village. (2) To find out the constraints and obstacles faced in the implementation of the PUAP program (3) To find out the amount of PUAP farmers 'income compared to the farmers' income before participating in PUAP. Samples were taken as many as 113 random farmers. This research was conducted at Gapoktan including descriptive-quantitative research types. The type of data used is quantitative data. The research subject is Gapoktan who receives PUAP funds, and the object is Gapoktan income PUAP fund recipients. The data used is quantitative data in the form of income data for Gapoktan members who receive PUAP funds. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, namely paired sample t-test. The results showed that: (1) there was a difference in the level of Gapoktan farm income after following the PUAP program. The income earned by PUAP farmers (Rp. 1,558.23 / month) is significantly higher, compared to the income before joining PUAP (Rp. 815.58 / month). (2) the level of success of the PUAP program in the Gapoktan Bina Sejati KelurahanTebing Tinggi Pangkatans is very high. From various Impacts, PUAP Program, and Farmer Income are almost all achieved. The success has been distributed to the PUAP BLM funds to all agribusiness farmers who apply for credit. Abstract

Program penghijauan sangatlah penting untuk dilakukan dalam hal untuk mengurangi resiko tinggi terhadap pemanasan global dan juga mengurangi resiko bahaya banjir yang selama ini kita lihat banyak daerah-daerah yang sering dan rawan terhadap banjir yang disebabkan oleh semakin gundul nya hutan didaerah tersebut. Dalam hal ini Program penghijauan memaluli penaman pohon didaerah maupun di areal-areal tertentu sangatlah penting dilakukan, yaitu melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh Dosen dan Mahasiswa Prodi Agroteknologi adalah semata-mata untuk membantu Pemerintah khususnya Pemerintah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu dalam hal penghijauan kota. Gerakan penghijauan kota melalui penanaman pohon disekitar halaman terminal kota rantauprapat adalah bertujuan untuk membuat  lingkungan terminal menjadi hijau dan asri. Dan program ini juga menjadi langkah awal timbulnya kesadaran masyarakat dan mahasiswa agar diamanapun berada dapat menanam pohon sebanyak-banyaknya. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya kesadaran masyarakat untuk melestarikan lingkungan salah satu upaya dalam melestarikan lingkungan adalah penanaman pohon di daerah tertentu. Oleh sebab itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini dibuat dalam rangka melindungi bumi dan melestarikan lingkungan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini akan melaksanakan penanaman pohon di halaman Terminal Padang Bulan Rantauprapat dengan bibit yang ditanam adalah bibit kelapa, akasya dan tanaman keras lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan Agustus di Desa Nagur, Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada ketinggian tempat ± 15 m dpl dengan topografi datar. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa jarak tanam legowo dan rekomendasi pemupukan terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi padi (Oryza sativa L.) pada musim kemarau. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Petak Terpisah (RPT) dengan 2 faktor yang diteliti, yaitu Faktor Jarak Tanam Legowo (J), dengan tiga taraf, yaitu J1 = Jarak Tanam Legowo 2:1, J2 = Jarak Tanam Legowo 3:1, dan J3 = Jarak Tanam Legowo 4:1 dan Faktor Rekomendasi Pemupukan (R), dengan tiga taraf, yaitu R1 = Kebiasaan Petani, R2 = PuPS versi 1.0, dan R3 = PUTS versi 1.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam legowo berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun, produksi per tanaman, gabah berisi per malai, gabah hampa per malai, produksi per plot, produksi per hektar, dan berat 1000 butir. Rekomendasi pemupukan berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun, produksi per tanaman, gabah berisi per malai, gabah hampa per malai, produksi per plot, produksi per hektar, dan berat 1000 butir. Interaksi kedua faktor berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan.

Abstract

Background: Inisiatif advokasi yang menargetkan penurunan stunting di Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara melibatkan upaya kolaboratif antar berbagai pemangku kepentingan, memfasilitasi komitmen bersama melalui penandatanganan memorandum dengan lembaga pemerintah daerah dan pimpinan desa. Metode: metode pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan yang kegiatan nya dimulai dari Agustus hingga desember 2023. Metode pelaksanaan juga dilakuan dengan metode analisis secara deskriftip untuk melihat gambaran asumsi masyarakat terhadap kegaiatan yang telah dilaksanakan. Hasil: Hasil dari kuesioner sebesar 93,3%, yang menunjukkan dukungan kuat dari pemangku kepentingan terkait dalam mencegah stunting di wilayah tersebut. Respon peserta mencapai 96,6%, yang menegaskan relevansi dan efektivitas program dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Selanjutnya upaya menuju sistem pertanian terpadu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga secara mandiri. Umpan balik peserta yang positif, dengan 93,3% setuju dan 6,66% tidak setuju, menyoroti penerimaan dan pemahaman yang baik terhadap sistem terintegrasi ini. Aspek penting lainnya adalah diversifikasi konsumsi pangan lokal untuk memerangi risiko stunting di Desa Nagasaribu. Dengan tingkat partisipasi yang tinggi sebesar 96,6%, program ini secara efektif memberikan pengetahuan tentang diversifikasi konsumsi pangan, memberdayakan masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisinya secara mandiri

Abstract

The cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family (gourd plant), which is very popular with all levels of society. This research aimed to determine the proper use of bokashi fertilizer in the growth and production of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L). This research was carried out from  January 24, 2024, to March 2024, at Jl. Lintas Gunung Tua, Simatahari Village, Kotapinang District, North Sumatra, Indonesia a. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 1 factor, each factor consisting of 6 levels, namely T0:Control, T1: bokashi 200g, T2: bokashi 300g, T3: 400g, T4: 500g, T5: 600g, and analyzed with statistical analysis using SPSS. The research results show that the lowest dose of bokashi fertilizer was given at the control dose. At the same time, the best dose was at a dose of 600g/plant, which showed the highest response from each treatment

Abstract

Tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) are shrub-shaped annuals classified as vegetables and fruits, belonging to the Solanaceae family. This study aims to evaluate the effect of onion skin fertilizer and coconut pulp on the growth and yield of tomato plants, especially in terms of plant height, number of leaves, and flowering age. The research was conducted from December to March 2024 in East Sampean Village. The research method used was a factorial randomized group design (RAK) with two main factors. The first factor is the dose of coconut pulp fertilizer with three levels: A0 as control, A1 with a dose of 75 gr/plant, and A2 with a dose of 150 gr/plant. The second factor is the dose of shallot skin fertilizer with three levels: B0 as control, B1 with a dose of 100 ml/plant, and B2 with a dose of 200 ml/plant. The results showed a significant interaction between the treatment of shallot skin fertilizer and coconut pulp on plant height, number of leaves, and flowering age. Giving a combination of shallot skin fertilizer and coconut pulp at a dose of B2A2 (200 ml and 150 g) gives optimal results in increasing plant height, number of leaves, and accelerating the flowering process in tomato plants.Keywords : coconut dregs fertilizer; onion skin fertilizer; tomatoes. INTISARITomat (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) adalah tanaman semusim berbentuk perdu yang diklasifikasikan sebagai sayuran dan buah, termasuk dalam keluarga Solanaceae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pupuk kulit bawang merah dan ampas kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat, khususnya dalam hal tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan umur berbunga. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Desember hingga Maret 2024 di Desa Sampean Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor utama. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk ampas kelapa dengan tiga taraf: A0 sebagai kontrol, A1 dengan dosis 75 g/tanaman, dan A2 dengan dosis 150 g/tanaman. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kulit bawang merah dengan tiga taraf: B0 sebagai kontrol, B1dengan dosis 100 ml/tanaman, dan B2 dengan dosis 200 ml/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi yang signifikan antara perlakuan pupuk kulit bawang merah dan ampas kelapa terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan umur berbunga. Pemberian kombinasi pupuk kulit bawang merah dan ampas kelapa dengan dosis B2A2 (200 ml dan 150 g) memberikan hasil yang optimal dalam meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan mempercepat proses berbunga pada tanaman tomat. Kata kunci : pupuk kulit bawang merah, pupuk ampas kelapa, tomat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of fertilizer and plant spacing on the growth and yield of long beans. Plant spacing and fertilizer application were carried out to obtain optimal results. This research was conducted on the land of Balimbing Tonga, Padang Bolak Julu, North Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra from May to July. The research was conducted using the Experimental method Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The results showed that the dose of fertilizer and planting distance did not have asignificant effect on fruit weight and root weight. The results of the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test showed a significant interaction between the fertilizer treatments. There is a significant interaction between fertilizer treatment and spacing on the parameters of plant height, number of fruits, number ofleaves, and root weight. Keywords: string beans, npk fertilizer, plant spacing, production

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country. Indonesia's soil structure is fertile and has a tropical climate. Cayenne pepper is a horticultural crop cultivated by farmers. Cayenne pepper production fluctuates from year to year. The leading cause of the lack of cayenne pepper production is land. Efforts are needed to increase production, one of which is intensifying fertilization. One of the liquid organic fertilizers is organic fertilizer from eggshells. Egg shells can be used as an organic fertilizer because they contain nutrients such as calcium carbonate, nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. One alternative provider of nutrients for plants is sugar cane bagasse. Sugarcane bagasse contains the elements Carbon (C), Nitrogen (N, Phosphate (P), Potassium (K), Sodium (Na), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), and Manganese (Mn). Research This study aims to see the effect of liquid organic fertilizer made from egg shells and sugar cane bagasse on the growth of cayenne pepper. This research also aims to study and determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer made from egg shells and sugar cane bagasse on the growth of cayenne pepper. Liquid made from egg shells and bagasse is the best for the growth of cayenne pepper. Research shows that treating liquid organic fertilizer with egg shells and bagasse affects the weight, length, weight per plot, and number of cayenne peppers planted. However, it does not significantly affect the lifespan of cayenne pepper flowers. An 80% concentration treatment of liquid organic fertilizer from egg shells and bagasse showed the best results.

Abstract

This experiment was aim to investigate some factor influenced by demand for pakcoy hydroponic on glugur rantauprapat labuhanbatu. This research is research using quantitative and descriptive methods. The sampling method used was the accidental sampling method, namely determining the sample based on the coincidence of meeting 30 people with the researcher. The results of the research show that price and population have a positive and significant effect on demand for hydroponic pak choy vegetables in the Gelugur market in Rantauprapat City. It can be seen from the value of the coefficient of determination that demand can be explained by price and population by 76.2%. Abstract

Red chili (Capsicum annuum spp.) is a vegetable plant that has long been cultivated in Indonesia because of its high level of adaptability. As a result, almost anywhere can support the cultivation of this plant. Therefore, efforts need to be made to increase the production of red chili plants, including by using organic fertilizer made from rice washing waste, in order to meet the plant's nutrient needs. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of applying Organic Liquid Compost (OLC) made from rice washing water on the development of red chili plants, especially when using high observation parameters. plants, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The implementation of this research began from January to March 2024 in Perjuangan Indah Hamlet, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a single component, namely POC fertilizer from rice washing water, which had four levels, namely P0 as control, P1 as much as 200 ml per plant, P2 as much as 250 ml per plant, and P3 as much as 300 ml. ml per plant. Penelitian dialkukan pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2024 di Dusun Perjuangan Indah Kecamatan Bilah Barat, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan komponen tunggal, yaitu pupuk POC air cucian beras, yang mempunyai empat taraf yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (200 ml per tanaman), P2 (250 ml per tanaman), dan P3 (300 ml per tanaman). Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi. tanaman, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pemberian POC air cucian beras dengan takaran P3: 300 ml/tanaman.berpengaruh terhadap tinggi. tanaman, jumlah daun, dan diameter batang tanaman cabai merah. Kata kunci : cabai merah; poc air cucian beras
