Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling character values of students at Al-Ijtihad Junior High School. This study uses a type of field research. The data collection technique uses field observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling the character values of students is always active in Al-Ijtihad Junior High School. The pie teacher always guides students to always have good speech, good manners to parents and teachers, students make a habit outside the classroom, namely when meeting the teacher to say greetings, speak well and politely, respect and kiss the teacher's hand. Furthermore, teachers also always invite students to instill the value of religious character in school, namely tadarus Al-Qur'an, dhuha prayer, hajat prayer and dzuhur prayer in congregation

Abstract

The article examines the relationship between learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) (variable X) and students' practice of Ramadan fasting (variable Y). With a population of 216 students and a 10% margin of error using the Slovin formula, a sample size of 68 students was determined. Using a descriptive method and analysis with the product moment formula, the results showed that PAI learning has a significant positive effect on the practice of Ramadan fasting, with a count value of 148.843 greater than the table value of 1.997, a very strong correlation coefficient of 0.99, and an influence level of 1%, while the remaining 99% is influenced by other factors. The results suggest that students who receive high-quality PAI teaching tend to be more active and consistent in their fasting practices. Factors such as understanding of religious concepts, moral values, and social support from PAI teachers play a crucial role. The practical implications suggest the need to improve the quality of PAI learning in order to better support students in their Ramadan fasting practices.

Abstract

Learning is a process carried out by teachers in guiding their students to have learning experiences in achieving teaching goals, both in learning the Al-Qur'an itself. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of Al-Qur'an learning at TPQ Al-Anshary. This research method is qualitative, namely field research. The results of the research are the application of the Iqra method in studying the Al-Qur'an at TPQ Al-Anshary following the rules that have been implemented by the institution. The application of the Tilawah method is carried out through several activity strategies, namely opening, core and closing activities. The opening activity begins with both reading Surah Al-Fatiha and reading Asamul Husna, the next agenda is the core activity which uses the classical method, and the last is the closing activity which ends with evaluating each student and closing with prayer.

Abstract

Supervision is the action or process of controlling, assessing, and determining deviations in the implementation of work in accordance with predetermined plans and standards. In Islam, supervision is not only carried out by humans but also by God who creates, so it is required to do in accordance with what has been planned in the organization so that what is a common goal is achieved. This study aims to determine the role of the supervisory function in Islamic education. The type of research used is field research. The data collection technique uses field observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the analysis show that supervision in Islam is carried out to correct what is not good or wrong and correct the wrong and justify the right. Supervision in Islam comes from monotheism and faith in Allah SWT. The person who has faith is sure that Allah must be watching over His servant, so he will act carefully. Supervisors must prioritize their professional principles, including: Tawhid, amanah, istiqamah, having knowledge, and tabliq

Abstract

Early childhood education forms the foundation of child development through play and parental support. Parental engagement, especially in the form of academic expectations, is essential for children's school readiness and optimal development. This study aims to examine the effect of parental engagement on the classroom learning process of early childhood students at Tunas Bangsa Early Childhood Education, Tanjung Sari II, Palembang. This quantitative research used questionnaires distributed to 24 respondents, with hypothesis testing conducted through a t-test. The results showed that parental engagement in early childhood learning was relatively high, with a mean score of 32.71 and a standard deviation of 3.56. Several indicators, such as parental participation and interaction, were categorized as very high, although aspects of creativity and learning stimulation still require improvement. The regression t-test analysis indicated a significant effect, with a significance value of 0.000 and a regression coefficient of 0.512. The R Square value of 0.537 indicates that parental engagement explains 53.7% of the variance in learning outcomes. Conclusion: Parents have a strong influence in supporting early childhood learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Learning as a process is designed by educators in creating a variety of innovative students who will be able to increase expertise in knowledge, and in order to build good mastery of learning material. Implementation in learning as the basis for formal learning in which there is communication between the various components of learning. The various components are divided into several categories including the following: the presence of educators, learning materials, and the presence of students. This component will require others such as the existence of media, methods, facilities and infrastructure, the existence of a management of the learning implementation environment, thus forming conditions for implementing existing learning that can achieve the targets of learning. Learning is the key for every individual to produce knowledge. So that knowledge learning can be achieved in a way that is consistent with the stages of individual growth. Learning is closely related to the life goals of students, and the goals will be different from one another. So learning should be carried out with systematic planning. Furthermore, in learning there is a process of guiding students, there is a process of changing directions, namely teaching provided by educators, while learning is carried out by students.

Abstract

Seeking knowledge requires understanding and ethics based on religious arguments so that Allah SWT. facilitates the pursuit of knowledge. It is important for Muslims to study the arguments related to the obligation to study and understand the ethics of a student in studying so that they can obtain knowledge to the fullest. A student in gaining knowledge should pay attention to several things that need to be prepared. One of them is having good intentions. Sincere intentions in his heart. The intention is solely to learn because of Allah ta'ala. In addition, a student must also have good manners in his pursuit of knowledge. The most important figure as a role model for students to have commendable morals is the Prophet Muhammad. Rasulullah saw is a noble creature. His main task was sent to the world is to perfect morals. He taught and exemplified commendable behavior to his friends. Then the friends transmit what they get to others, so that these teachings reach us today. These teachings have come down to us in the form of hadiths.

Abstract

Memang tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an, ulama telah  banyak menghadirkan metode penafsiran. Juga tidak dapat diingkari bahwa hermeneutika pun telah populer dan marak digunakan untuk menafsirkan Al-Qur’an. Namun,  metode penafsiran Al-Qur’an yang ada selama ini mempunyai  pandangan bahwa konteks sosial historis teks merupakan sesuatu yang signifikan dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an, baik konteks umumnya maupun konteks khususnya (asbab al-nuzulnya), sementara metode interpretasi teks (hermeneutika) Ricoeur yang dapat dikategorikan dalam metode analisis teks (yang termasuk) terbaru memandang bahwa dalam memahami teks, teks harus diperlakukan secara otonom (lepas dari maksud pengarangnya, kondisi sosial historisnya dan audiens aslinya). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan asbab al-nuzul dalam penafsiran Al-Qur'an dengan hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur. Hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur memahami teks sebagai sesuatu yang berasal dari masa lalu dalam dunia kekinian. Al-Qur'an yang berasal dari masa lalu pun mengalami hal serupa. Metode Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan model studi pustaka. Data penelitian berupa konsep asbabun nuzul yang bersumber dari beebrapa kitab primer. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan content analys yaitu melakukan pertimbangan-pertimbangan tertentu terhadap teori interpretasi Paul Ricoeur dalam manelaah asbab al-nuzul dan penafsiran Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hermeneutika Ricoeur telah memberikan arah baru bagi pemahaman teks, namun memahami teks dengan memberlakukan teks sebagai sesuatu yang otonom yang melepaskan konteks sosial-historisnya bukanlah hal yang mudah diterapkan dalam penafsiran Al-Qur'an, namun diperlukan pertimbangan tertentu. Sungguhpun Al-Qur'an adalah teks, bagaimanapun juga tidak dapat dilupakan bahwa Al-Qur'an adalah teks suci keagamaan.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama islam merupakan suatu usaha yang direncanakan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai islam dalam jiwa, rasa, dan pikiran. Sehingga pendidakan agama islam menjadi suatu system yang bisa membentuk sikap dan kepribadian seseorang yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Allah swt. Pendidikan karakter menjadi sebuah jawaban yang tepat dalam menghadapi permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi seperti yang telah disebutkan diatas dan sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan diharapkan bisa mewujudkan misi dari pendidikan karakter tersebut. Karakter tanggung jawab dapat berbentuk mengerjakan soal, mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran sampai selesai. Namun fenomena pada saat ini kebanyakan peserta didik yang tidak mengerjakan soal dengan baik dikarenakan banyak peserta didik yang lebih suka bermain di kelas dan tidak mendengarkan guru pada saat proses pembelajaran dikarenakan peserta didik lalai dalam tanggung jawabnya bahwa tanggung jawab peserta didik adalah belajar dan kebanyakan jaman sekarang peserta didik lebih suka bermain daripada belajar dirumah.

Abstract

The shift in religious and moral values in early childhood is influenced by the development of technology, social media, and parenting patterns, which impact children's behaviour and character. This study examines the inculcation of religious and moral values in early childhood through school activities. The research uses a qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and surveys. Data were processed through condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings show an average score of 4.05, indicating the success of religious and moral value inculcation. Sitting while eating (5.00) was very good, while saying prayers before meals (3.40) and before entering the bathroom (3.00) still need reinforcement. Honesty (4.93), politeness (4.20), and social concern (3.65) were also significant. Children demonstrated good respect for parents (4.20), though misbehaviour was still low (3.40). Independence in hygiene (4.30), knowledge of religious holidays (4.45), and interfaith tolerance (4.40) were well achieved. Conclusion: The inculcation of religious and moral values in early childhood through school activities has proven successful. Children can apply values such as honesty, politeness, cleanliness, and tolerance in daily life, though some aspects still need improvement.
