Abstract

Polypharmacy and inappropriate medication use are often found in elderly stroke patients and have negative consequences such as less than optimal functional outcomes, increased incidence of drug side effects, increased treatment time and costs. However, polypharmacy seems difficult to avoid in stroke patients where there are many underlying comorbidities that require pharmacotherapy. Neurology specialist doctors as doctors responsible for patients need to manage polypharmacy and inappropriate use of drugs in order to achieve treatment goals, namely optimal functional outcomes and patient safety at an efficient cost.

Abstract

Noise pada citra tidak hanya terjadi karena ketidaksempurnaan dalam proses pengambilan gambar, tetapi bisa juga disebabkan oleh kotoran-kotoran yang terjadi pada citra. Dalam tugas akhir ini noise yang digunakan adalah impulse noise (salt and pepper). Impulse noise biasanya terjadi selama transisi citra. Noise ini tampak sebagai impuls-impuls hitam atau putih diatas citra. Impulse noise ini dapat terjadi karena error bit acak pada saluran komunikasi. Dalam literatur, dapat ditemukan berbagai algoritma yang dapat digunakan untuk menghilangkan salt and pepper noise, seperti Adaptive Approximated Median Filter dan Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT). Perangkat lunak yang dirancang ini melakukan beberapa tahapan proses yaitu dimulai dari proses menentukan sebuah piksel adalah noise atau tidak berdasarkan pada nilai threshold yang diberikan. Apabila piksel tersebut merupakan noise maka nilai baru akan dihitung dan di-set pada tahapan noise reduction. Terakhir, fase image enhancement akan dilakukan untuk menghasilkan citra digital dengan kualitas yang lebih bagus. Perangkat lunak ini akan menyisipkan noise ke dalam citra input. Setelah itu, noise tersebut akan dihapus dengan menggunakan metode Adaptive Approximated Median Filter dan Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT). Terakhir, akan dilakukan pengujian terhadap citra hasil reduksi noise dengan menggunakan metode MSE dan PSNR.

Abstract

The social service event organized by the Tabgha Theological College of Batam and the Cahaya Obor Berkat Foundation from August 9-11, 2024, at Pollux Habibie Mall, Batam Center, is a community service initiative in celebration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. This event included free general health check-ups and medical treatment, IVA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) screenings for early detection of cervical cancer, and the distribution of 500 staple food packages to those in need. The main objectives were to provide healthcare access to underprivileged communities, raise awareness about the importance of early disease prevention, and alleviate the economic burden on citizens. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Batam City Health Office and Puskesmas Baloi Permai. As a result, 700 people received health services, 150 women underwent IVA screenings, and 500 food packages were distributed. This social service positively impacted the health and well-being of the community, embodying the spirit of independence through tangible acts of service.

Abstract

Education is one of the factors in increasing quality human resources. Therefore, the role of education is very important in today's society. In producing quality education, it requires experts (teachers), a relevant curriculum, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure. In addition, skills and abilities are needed from experts in providing explanations of the material presented. To help solve educational problems, especially education in the field of accounting, the Mahkota Kasih Insani Foundation invites accounting lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business to carry out community service activities. This activity is a solution that can be provided in order to help students of the Mahkota Kasih Insani Foundation understand accounting, especially the accounting treatment of bonds payable with the help of support and funds from the Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Tarumanagara. Based on this activity, students can develop their abilities. The training method is used in implementing this activity. The output obtained from this activity is a mandatory output in the form of publication of articles in community service journals as proof of having carried out community service at the Mahkota Kasih Insani Foundation, and the general public can see the articles in the journal, so that they are motivated to help more orphanages throughout Indonesia. Another output generated from this activity is an additional output in the form of intellectual property rights to obtain legal protection for copyright from community service activities. The implementation of community service activities at the Mahkota Kasih Insani Foundation began with a pre-test, providing material presentation, continued by discussing practice questions, then from the practice questions given, a discussion was carried out, after which a question and answer session was opened and ended with a post-test and evaluation of the implementation of activities and taking a group photo at the Mahkota Kasih Insani Foundation. ABSTRAK Pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor dalam meningkatkan sumber daya yang bermutu. Oleh karena itu, peran pendidikan sangat penting di dalam kehidupan masyarakat saat ini. Dalam menghasilkan pendidikan yang berkualitas, dibutuhkan tenaga ahli (pengajar), kurikulum yang relevan, serta tersedianya sarana dan prasarana. Selain itu, dibutuhkan keterampilan dan kemampuan dari tenaga ahli dalam memberikan penjelasan atas materi yang disampaikan. Untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan pendidikan terutama pendidikan di bidang akuntansi, maka Yayasan Mahkota Kasih Insani mengundang dosen akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini merupakan solusi yang yang dapat diberikan dalam rangka membantu siswa Yayasan Mahkota Kasih Insani dalam memahami akuntansi terutama perlakuan akuntansi utang obligasi dengan bantuan dukungan dan dana dari Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Tarumanagara. Berdasarkan kegiatan ini siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Metode pelatihan digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. Luaran yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini adalah luaran wajib berupa publikasi artikel di jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai bukti sudah melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Yayasan Mahkota Kasih Insani, dan masyarakat umum dapat melihat artikel di jurnal tersebut, sehingga termotivasi membantu lebih banyak panti asuhan di seluruh Indonesia. Luaran lain yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah luaran tambahan berupa hak kekayaan intelektual guna memperoleh perlindungan secara hukum atas hak cipta dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Yayasan Mahkota Kasih Insani diawali dengan pre test, memberikan pemaparan materi, dilanjutkan dengan membahas latihan soal, kemudian dari latihan soal yang diberikan, dilakukan pembahasan, setelah itu dibuka sesi untuk tanya jawab dan diakhiri dengan post test serta evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan dan melakukan foto bersama di Yayasan Mahkota Kasih Insani.

Abstract

This study aims to explore discipleship in the younger generation finding their true identity in Christ  in today's digital era. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study involved young people and young adults who are active in church communities. In this case, the younger generation in searching for identity in the digital era, finding true identity in Christ through discipleship requires the development of a discipleship approach that is responsive to complex social and digital dynamics. By integrating technology and interactive learning methods, discipleship can increase the relevance and effectiveness of programs offered to the younger generation. Through proper guidance, discipleship not only helps individuals recognize their identity in faith but also equips them with the skills and beliefs to contribute positively to society. The results of the study indicate that discipleship functions as a process of spiritual learning and in-depth character building, which strengthens the values of love, sacrifice, and commitment to the teachings of Christ. Through interactions in discipleship groups, young people are empowered to share hopes and challenges, strengthen a sense of solidarity, and discuss issues that are relevant to their lives. Thus, discipleship becomes a vital tool in forming a strong identity and guiding young people towards a meaningful life in line with their calling of faith.

Abstract

This study investigated the determinants of electric vehicle (EV) purchase intentions in Batam, Indonesia, utilizing the Stimulus–Organism–Response (SOR) framework. We examined how four external stimuli government support, perceived monetary benefits, technology orientation, and perceived risk influence consumer attitude and subsequent purchase intention. Data collected from 356 potential EV adopters via purposive sampling were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results indicate that government support, per-ceived monetary benefits, and technology orientation significantly enhance consumer attitude, which, in turn, strongly strengthens purchase intention. This confirms attitude as a central psychological me-chanism mediating the SOR process in EV adoption. However, perceived risk was found to have no significant effect on either attitude or intention, suggesting that a strong policy-supported environment in Batam might mitigate consumer concerns regarding EV technology. These findings validate the SOR framework's application in understanding EV adoption in developing markets. Practically, the study em-phasizes that accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility requires continued government fiscal incentives, sustained technological advancements, and effective public awareness campaigns. By strengthening these positive stimuli, policymakers and practitioners can significantly enhance consumer readiness and contribute to national green-transportation goals.

Abstract

Sistem self-checkout menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mengurangi antrean dan biaya operasional di sektor ritel. Dengan memanfaatkan deep learning, sistem ini memungkinkan identifikasi produk secara otomatis tanpa interaksi kasir, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan pelanggan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem self-checkout menggunakan model EfficientDet, yaitu metode deteksi objek yang dikenal memiliki keseimbangan antara akurasi dan efisiensi komputasi. Dataset yang terdiri atas 10 jenis produk makanan dan minuman dikumpulkan serta digunakan untuk pelatihan, validasi, dan pengujian. Model dilatih dengan variasi batch size dan epoch untuk menentukan konfigurasi terbaik. Hasil optimal diperoleh pada batch size 16 dan 800 epoch, dengan akurasi pelatihan sebesar 97% dan akurasi validasi sebesar 99,79%. Kinerja sistem kemudian dievaluasi melalui tiga skenario pengujian. Pada citra dengan satu produk, sistem mencapai akurasi deteksi 100% dan akurasi pengenalan 92%. Pada citra dengan tiga produk, akurasi deteksi dan pengenalan masing-masing mencapai 72%, sedangkan pada lima produk mencapai 42% dan 30%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa EfficientDet layak digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem self-checkout yang efisien dan praktis, sekaligus menyoroti tantangan dalam deteksi multiobjek.

Abstract

Currently, in developing countries, MSMEs have a big contribution to grow the community's economy, including Indonesia. MSMEs hold an essential position in economic progress. There are still very few researchers who examine the BI Rate, Inflation, and the Rupiah Exchange Rate on MSME credit financing. So, researchers are interested in taking this title. This study is an explanatory research which aims to describe the causal correlation between variables through hypotheses and is carried out through descriptive analysis. The population in this study is all MSMEs in Indonesia that receive credit financing. The data taken is the period 2011-2019. Population data collection techniques are carried out using a time series approach using an annual scale. The result is that the BI Rate, Inflation and the Rupiah Exchange rate partially have no effect and are not significant on MSME credit financing. Meanwhile, the BI Rate, Inflation, and the Rupiah Exchange simultaneously have a significant effect on MSME credit financing.

Abstract

This study aimed to screen and optimize the critical process variables that significantly influence the preparation process of diclofenac sodium (DS)-loaded liposome using a quality by design (QbD) systematic approach. In this study, Plackett-Burman screening design (PBD) was employed to screen the most significant process and formulation variables. Further optimization of DS-loaded liposomes was done using Response Surface Method-Central Composite design (RSM-CCD). DS-loaded liposomes were formulated using the thin-film hydration method. The particle size (PS) and encapsulation efficiency (EE), as the key to liposome drug product qualities, were defined and evaluated. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) spectrum, in vitro drug release profile, and stability study were also investigated. The results showed that particle size and encapsulation efficiency of the optimum formulation were 146.60 nm and 79.77% with high coefficient of determination values of 0.9989 and 0.9984, respectively. The study showed that PBD could be useful to screen the most significant variables, and RSM-CCD could be employed to study surfaces and to locate the optimal response to achieve maximized EE and minimized PS.

Abstract

Secara umum, metrik didefinisikan sebagai fungsi jarak yang memetakan pasangan unsur dalam suatu himpunan tak kosong yang memenuhi beberapa aksioma khusus. Pasangan , yang merepresentasikan himpunan beserta fungsi metriknya , dikenal sebagai ruang metrik. Konsep ini kemudian dikembangkan lebih lanjut menjadi ruang metrik kompleks . Kelengkapan pada ruang metrik memastikan setiap barisan Cauchy di dalam ruang tersebut konvergen menuju ke suatu titik anggota ruang itu sendiri. Penelitian dalam skripsi ini berfokus pada analisis mendalam mengenai karakteristik barisan konvergen dan barisan Cauchy, khususnya terkait pemenuhan sifat kelengkapan pada ruang metrik kompleks. Melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan (literature review), dilakukan penelaahan terhadap berbagai referensi ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik ruang metrik kompleks beserta kelengkapannya. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, disimpulkan bahwa setiap barisan Cauchy di dalam ruang metrik kompleks terbukti konvergen, yang sekaligus mengonfirmasi status struktur tersebut sebagai ruang metrik kompleks yang lengkap.
