Abstract

Mong elementary school children, so this problem should be resolved by providing training in reading the Al-Qur’an properly and correctly to improve their ability. Reciting Al-Qur’an. Based on these problems, community service students majoring in Islamic education counseling 3 UINSU will provide training in learning to read the Al-Qur’an to elementary school children in Brandan Barat Subdistrict with the hope of helping and improving the reading of the Al-Qur’an to elementary school children in the Subdistrict. The. The method used in this activity uses Using qualitative research methods, because the approach taken is through a descriptive qualitative approach, in qualitative research using the results of interviews and observations and training methods for elementary school children in Brandan Barat Subdistrict by conducting training in reading the Al-Qur’an at the homes of residents who are Koran teachers in the new village of Brandan Barat subdistrict. This Al-Qur’an reading training is carried out every evening at the Koran teacher’s house and is assisted by community service students from UINSU. Based on the results of the implementation of the program carried out by UINSU community service students, they will be able to improve the abilities of elementary school children in Brandan Barat Subdistrict both in reading the Al- Qur’an, training in the tone of reading the Al-Qur’an and reading tajwid verses of the Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study of the correlational type. The study is motivated by issues related to parenting styles that are connected to children's (students') learning discipline, with parents being a micro factor influencing children's learning discipline. The author conducted research at Mts Negeri Barus to determine whether there is an effect of parenting styles on the learning discipline of seventh-grade students, with a total of 34 students. Thus, the population and sample of this study consist of 34 respondents, as the seventh grade is a phase where, in terms of emotional intelligence, students are better at managing their emotions and involve conscious control to regulate them. The results of the study indicate that children's learning discipline is good. From the correlation table above, it is known that the calculated r value is 0.802 > 0.339 and the sig. value is 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of parenting styles on the learning discipline of seventh-grade students at Mts Negeri Barus, with a perfect or large influence level. The data analysis technique used calculations of the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation with the help of SPSS 20.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of information services on the learning concentration of students at SMP IT Al-Hijrah Laut Dendang. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format. The sample consists of 38 students from SMP IT Al-Hijrah, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire on learning concentration designed with a Likert Scale, developed and modified based on various existing theories. The data analysis technique employed is the paired sample t-test. The results of the study show that the average pretest score of students is 52.05, while the posttest score is 83.68. The paired sample t-test conducted using SPSS 23 yielded a significance value of 0.001. According to the decision rule in the paired sample t-test, where a significance value < 0.05 indicates significance, the result of 0.001 < 0.05 leads to the acceptance of H1 and rejection of H0. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of information services on the learning concentration of 7th-grade students in the Ikhwan class at SMP IT Al-Hijrah Laut Dendang for the academic year 2023/2024.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tujuan penciptaan manusia dari tiga perspektif utama dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam: tasawuf, ilmu kalam, dan filsafat, serta implikasinya dalam pendidikan Islam. Perspektif tasawuf menekankan perjalanan spiritual untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan mencapai maqam insan kamil, dengan penekanan pada praktik spiritual dan pengembangan batin. Ilmu kalam memandang tujuan penciptaan manusia sebagai ibadah kepada Allah yang mencakup seluruh aspek kehidupan, dengan penekanan pada penghambaan total dan penyerahan diri. Filsafat Islam melihat tujuan penciptaan manusia sebagai upaya mencapai kesempurnaan intelektual dan moral melalui akal dan pengetahuan. Implikasi dari pemahaman ini dalam pendidikan Islam mencakup pengajaran yang mendalam tentang akidah, syariat, pengembangan karakter, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Integrasi ketiga perspektif ini dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam diharapkan dapat membentuk individu yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, cerdas, dan bertanggung jawab, yang mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat dan dunia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze juvenile delinquency at MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan. It consists of the types of delinquency, the causal factors, and the efforts of the counseling teacher in alleviating juvenile delinquency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students, counseling teachers, subject teachers, homeroom teachers, and parents of students taken using the snowball sampling technique. Research instruments used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found: 1) Types of delinquency that occurred; smoking, skipping school, not doing homework, leaving the house without saying goodbye to parents, coming home late at night, fighting, bullying; 2) The factor of delinquency; environmental factors, wrong perceptions of subject teachers and learning activities, often delaying and neglecting assignments, lack of parental attention, abused solidarity, having wrong perceptions of others; 2) The efforts of the counseling teacher in alleviating juvenile delinquency are; providing information, supervising student activities through collaboration with subject teachers and parents, providing individual counseling services, group guidance, and content mastery services to improve student skills in certain fields. Abstract

Efisien dan suksesnya penyelenggaraan kegiatan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah diharapkan dapat dicapai melalui pengelolaan layanan tersebut secara efektif. Mengetahui pendekatan manajemen dalam menciptakan konseling dan bimbingan di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram menjadi tujuan penelitian ini. Untuk memahami sepenuhnya fenomena atau latar belakang dan untuk mengevaluasi makna dan kompleksitas situasi, pendekatan deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk pengumpulan data. Kepala Sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram dan dua orang guru bimbingan dan konseling menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, program bimbingan dan konseling pertama-tama terorganisir dengan baik dan tepat waktu. Kedua, kenyataan bahwa SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram telah berkembang dan beroperasi secara terkoordinasi menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta pemangku kepentingan lainnya menyadari nilai organisasi. Ketiga, namun jika outcomenya belum sempurna, maka Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Keempat: Petunjuk apa yang harus dilakukan dan apa yang harus ditingkatkan dalam proses pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling mulai dari kepala sekolah hingga guru bimbingan dan konseling. Kelima, evaluasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram memungkinkan seseorang untuk mengetahui apakah pengelolaan layanan tersebut efisien dan berdampak positif terhadap tumbuh kembang anak yang menerimanya.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide steps to prevent bullying behavior in students through information services. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Stabat. The object of this research is class XI Ips students at SMAN 1 Stabat. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection tools used were field observations, interviews with guidance and counseling teachers and providing information services to students. Data analysis in this research is qualitative descriptive using the Miles Huberman model. The results of this research are that the implementation of the information services provided really helps students in preventing bullying behavior between cultures that have differences in terms of accents or dialects. These differences greatly influence students' social environmental responses, becoming the subject of student jokes which results in bullying. With this information service, students can find out how to prevent intercultural bullying.

Abstract

Kecanduan internet atau internet Addiction Disorde (IAD) telah menjadi permasalahan yang kerap dialami remaja saat ini. Kecanduan internet tersebut tentunya memberikan dampak negatif bagi para siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecanduan internet dengan kesehatan mental siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Tritech Medan, sampel penelitian berjumlah 270 orang diambil dengan teknik ramdom sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket tentang kecanduan internet dan kesehatan mental. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi data dan pengujian hipotesis dengan rumus product moment correlations. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kecanduan internet dengan kesehatan mental siswa. Artinya jika kecanduan internet siswa meningkat maka kesehatan mental siswa menurun. Sebaliknya, jika kecanduan internet siswa menurun maka kesehatan mental siswa meningkat. Besarnya hubungan antara kedua variabel adalah sebasar -0,170 atau 17,00% pada signifikansi 0,005 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecanduan internet memiliki hubungan yang negatif dengan kesehatan mental siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Stress akadmeik menjadi permasalahan yang ekrap dialami para siswa dewasa ini, terutama siswa yang memiliki padat aktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk emgetahu hubungan religiusitas dengan stres akademik. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa/peserta didik di Islamic Centre. Sampel diambil secara random berjumlah 287 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket tentang religiusitas dan stres akademik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi data dan uji hipotesis dengan uji korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara religiusitas dengan stres akademik. Artinya, jika skor religiusitas meningkat maka skor stres akademik menurun, sebaliknya jika skor religiusitas menurun maka skor stres akademik meningkat. Melalui hasil penelitian tersebut, dipeoleh hubungan antar kedua variabel sebesar -0,341 pada signifikansi 0,003 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa religiusitas degan stress akademik memiliki hubungan yang negatif. Kata Kunci: hubungan, religiusitas, stress akademik Abstract Academic stress is a problem often experienced by students today, especially students who have busy activities. This research aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and academic stress. The research approach uses a quantitative correlational type. The population of this study were all students at the Islamic Center. Samples taken randomly amounted to 287 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire about religiosity and academic stress. The data analysis technique uses data description and hypothesis testing with the product moment correlation test. The research results show that there is a negative relationship between religiosity and academic stress. This means that if the religiosity score increases, the academic stress score decreases, conversely, if the religiosity score decreases, the academic stress score increases. Through the results of this research, the relationship between the two variables was obtained at -0.341 at a significance of 0.003 <0.05. It can be concluded that religiosity and academic stress have a negative relationship. Keywords: relationships, religiosity, academic stress

Abstract

Abstrak Addiction to online games is a problem in the world of education which can have various negative impacts on students, both physical, psychological and social health, as well as learning activities and even a decline in academic achievement. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral counseling approach in alleviating online game addiction experienced by students. The research method uses a quantitative comparative type with a 2 x 2 factorial quasi-experimental design. Samples were taken using a purposive technique of 10 people in the experimental group and 10 people in the control group. The research instrument used an online game addiction scale which was distributed to the sample during the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique uses data description and hypothesis testing with the ANACOVA formula. The research results showed that there was a difference in students' online game addiction scores during the pretest and during the posttest with an F value of 417.217, and a mean square of 544.700 with a significance of 0.000. It can be concluded that counseling services using the Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach are effective in reducing online game addiction in students at Tritech Vocational School, Medan.
