Abstract

Praktikum ialah kegiatan pengajaran melalui bertemu muka yang menitikberatkan terhadap aspek psikomotorik. Panduan praktikum merupakan satu diantara pelengkap terjalankannya kegiatan praktikum pada proses belajar. Jenis dari penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian pengembangan, metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model yang dipakai pada penelitian yakni model 4-D yang mempunyai sejumlah tahapan yaitu mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan. Tahapan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tahap pendefinisian (define) mencakup atas lima tahap, yakni: melakukan analisis awal akhir, mengmanalisis peserta didik, menganalisis tugas, menganalisis konsep dan tujuan praktikum. (2) Tahap perancangan (desain) mencakup atas tiga tahap yakni: memilih media, memilih format, rancangan awal. (3) Tahap pengembangan (develop). Penelitian ini memakai kuesioner sebagai instrumen validasi dan kepraktisan.Panduan praktikum pembelajaran IPA untuk kelas VII SMP/MTS yang sudah dilakukan pengembangan bisa dikategorikan valid dan praktis, yang dihasilkan lewat tahapan untuk mendefinisikan (define), merancang (design), dan mengembangkan (develop). Panduan praktikum pada proses belajar IPA untuk kelas VII SMP/MTS, melalui uji validasi diraih nilai validitas 86.83% dalam kategori yang valid. Pada uji praktikalitas oleh guru diraih nilai praktikalitas 84.36% dalam kategori yang praktis dan uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik diraih nilai praktikalitas 83.2% dalam kategori yang praktis. Dilihat melalui hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan ada sejumlah saran dimana guru bisa memakai panduan praktikum pada proses belajar IPA untuk siswa kelas VII SMP/MTS menjadi satu diantara inovasi panduan praktikum pada proses belajar dan melaksanakan praktikum. Peserta didik bisa panduan praktikum proses belajar IPA untuk siswa dari kelas VII SMP/MTS ini untuk menambah serta memudahkan melaksankan praktikum serta memahami materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the validity and practicality of the Integrated Science learning module with the STEM-integrated Problem Based Learning model. This research was conducted at junior high school 1 Kota Solok in grade 8.H and grade 8. I. The type of research conducted is research and development (R&D). The research model used is the Plomp model. The plomp model consists of 3 stages, namely Preliminary research (initial investigation stage), Prototyping stage (prototype formation), and Assessment stage. The instrument used in this study is by using a questionnaire to test the validity and practicality. The validity test was carried out by an expert validator while the practical test was carried out by science teachers and eighth grade junior high school students. The results showed that the Validation Test obtained a validity value of 0.93 in the valid category. In the practicality test, the teacher achieved a practicality value of 0.89 in the practical category and the practicality test by students in the small group test achieved a practicality value of 0.89 in the practical category and the practicality test by students in the large group test (Field Test) the value achieved by practicality is 0.83 in the practical category. The results of the research carried out there are several suggestions where teachers and students can use these modules as additional teaching materials to support the learning process so that students play an active role in learning.

Abstract

The Kurikulum Merdeka provides freedom for schools, educators and students to innovate, learn creatively and independently. Then, along with the technology development, teachers are also demanded to innovate materials for teaching to help the process of learning in related with the curriculum. The results of observations in the field shown that the material for teaching used have few practice questions related to daily life and the material is quite dense, so teaching materials are needed that contain more questions related to daily life. To overcome this problem, the innovation provided is an Integrated Science E-module Oriented to Problem Based Learning. The research aims are to produce an Integrated Science E-Module Oriented to Problem Based Learning on Organ System Material that is has validity and practicality to use for class VIII SMP students. The research type used is research and development (R&D), using a 4-D model which have 4 phases, that are define, design, develop and disseminate. However, the research just conducted until the development phase. The instruments in this research were a validation questionnaire sheet and a practicality questionnaire sheet. The test of validity results obtained a value of 83.43% in the category in very valid. The test of practicality results by the teacher obtained a score of 98.61% in the category in very practical and the test of practicality results by students obtained a score of 89.51% in the category in very practical. According on these results, the conclusion that the Integrated Science E-Module with Problem Based Learning Orientation on Organ System Material has met the valid and practical category for use by class VIII SMP students.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini sudah mengalami pergesaran paradigma, dimana pergeseran paradigma ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantittas dari pendidikan. Pergeseran paradigma ini memberikan dampak terhadap proses pendidikan, yakni proses pembelajaran harus mempunyai nilai, makna, dan aplikatif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga dapat mengantarkan Pendidikan Indonesia ke arah yang lebih baik. Model Reading to Learn (R2L) merupakan model dari sebuah program membaca untuk belajar, dimana dalam model Reading to Learn (R2L) ini memaparkan pengetahuan tentang pedagogik dan bahasa yang mendasari model ini. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian berjenis eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment) dengan desain penelitian Randomized Control Group Only Design. Pada penelitian ini, rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 60,93 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 70,26. Di samping itu, penelitian memperoleh nilai post-test pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol mempunyai sejumlah nilai thitung sebesar 6,60 dan untuk ttabel sebesar 2,00, maka diperoleh keterangan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Hi diterima karena hasil yang diperoleh lebih besar daripada ttabel yang telah ditentukan. Hal ini terjadi karena pada proses pembelajaran sudah mendapatkan perlakuan khusus untuk masing-masing kelas. Maka dari itu, kesimpulan dari pengujian hipotesis yaitu terdapatnya pengaruh model Reading to Learn (R2L) terhadap keterampilan literasi sains siswa pada materi Usaha dan Pesawat Sederhana di SMP Negeri 33 Padang.

Abstract

This research purpose to produce an integrated science e-LKPD based on guided inquiry on temperature and heat material for class VII SMP/MTs. The researchtype used is research an development (R&D) with a plomp development model. The prototype was generated through a validity test by three validators, namely three science education FMIPA UNP. The practicality test was conducted on two science teachers and students at SMPN 1 Padang Ganting. The results of the assessment for the e-LKPD validity test obtained a value of 0,78 in the category was valid, while the practicality test by the teacher obtained a value of 1,00 in the category was very practical, and the test of practicality by students obtained a value of 0,90 in the category was very practical.

Abstract

E-Modul adalah bahan belajar yang disusun secara sistematis menggunakan kalimat yang mudah dimengerti oleh peserta didik sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman dan usianya sehingga peserta didik bisa belajar secara mandiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan E-Modul IPA Terpadu Model Problem Based Learning pada Materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan oleh siswa kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4-D. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) Pendefinisian (Define), (2) Perancangan (Desain), (3) Pengembangan (Develop) dan (4) Penyebaran (Disseminate). Pada penelitian ini peneliti hanya melakukan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap define, desain, dan develop. E-modul divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator yang merupakan dosen jurusan Pendidikan IPA FMIPA UNP. Lembar instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah angket validasi dan praktikalitas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, telah dihasilkan e-modul IPA Terpadu model Problem Based Learning pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di kelas VII SMP yang valid dan praktis. Hasil uji validitas memperoleh nilai 95% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh nilai 96% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan hasil uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik memperoleh nilai 90% dengan kategori sangat praktis.

Abstract

In the 21st century the educational curriculum has developed to a higher level with the aim of building students' intelligence abilities in learning, especially in science learning, one way to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes is to use Problem Based Learning (PBL) models. PBL is a learning model that requires students to be able to solve problems that occur in the real world as a context for developing critical thinking skills and problem solving. The PBL learning model has been widely used by previous researchers, but not many studies have thoroughly examined the PBL model in junior high school science learning. The method used in this research is descriptive using a quantitative approach followed by meta-analysis techniques. The population in this study were S1-S3 indexed scientific publication articles and articles with ISSN, the sample used in this study were 31 articles. There are three results from this study, firstly the application of the PBL model in science learning has a very high influence on class VII with an effect size of 1,32, secondly the application of the PBL model has a very high influence on the material growth and development of living things with an effect size value of 4,27, the third application of the PBL model to students' cognitive learning outcomes has a very high effect with an effect size value of 1,19.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century has increased awareness of the importance of education in developing individual competencies and improving overall educational quality. In Indonesia, educational quality remains a major concern. One contributing factor is the use of ineffective learning strategies, which often results in low student engagement and declining learning outcomes. Therefore, the selection of appropriate learning strategies is essential. The Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) strategy is one approach that can encourage students to participate actively in exploring, questioning, and discussing learning materials.This study aims to describe the implementation of the SQ3R strategy in science learning at SMP Negeri 10 Padangsidimpuan. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving 23 students from class VIII-1 as research participants. Data were collected through observations conducted during the learning process. The findings indicate that at the Survey stage, students successfully skimmed the material to gain an initial understanding, with an implementation rate of 100%. At the Question stage, students formulated relevant questions with a 98% implementation rate. During the Read stage, students read the material thoroughly, achieving 100%. At the Recite stage, they effectively recalled key concepts, also with 100%. Finally, at the Review stage, students were able to present their answers and review the material with a 99% implementation rate. Overall, the SQ3R strategy was implemented effectively, with an average implementation rate of 99%.
