Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of religious values of Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor) members. One of the religious-based community organizations capable of realizing the nation's progress is the Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor). How much and how far religious values can influence and shape a person's character depends on how much religious values are embedded in him. This research includes field research, with a qualitative approach, which is research that produces analytical procedures that do not use statistical analysis. The data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show that religious values are fostered by members of GP Ansor Kebojongan Branch by giving good advice, teaching about morals from the book of Taitsirul Kholaq and Akhlakul Banin, as well as teaching the book of Aqidatul Awwam and holding additional activities such as maulidan activities, grave pilgrimage prayers, and others. While the supporting factor is the development of religious values for members of GP. Ansor Ranting Kebojongan, Comal Sub-District, Pemalang Regency is the recitation of the book of Taisul Kholaq, and support from the community, while the inhibiting factors are inadequate infrastructure and the busyness of the members.

Abstract

Red chili is one of the most important horticultural products. Red chili is a perishable commodity that easily damages, caused by bacteria or fungal. Changes in the enzyme activity in chili that cause shrinkage or wrinkles during storage, transport, and fresh chili packing can reduce the market price. The objective of this study was to determine the changes that occur in the drying process. The material used in this study was red chili (Capsicum annuum). The equipment used Far Infrared Ray (FIR) dryer, electrical oven, and equipment for analysis. This study employed a randomized block design consisting of 5 drying treatments with 3 replications for each treatment. This study showed that the use of FIR dryer at 50°C for drying red chilies gave the best drying time (11 hours), compares with sun drying (38 hours), and oven 50°C (46 hours). The rehydration property of the water content produced is also not much different from an oven dryer at 60°C (39 hours) and sun drying. Drying with FIR caused loss of volatile more than the oven method, however drying time for FIR dryer at 50oC and 60oC were shorter. Air quality levels, ash levels, VRS, and the yield obtained was not significantly different from the oven dryer which took longer drying time. Far Infrared dryer (FIR) and sun drying are radiation drying method, and electric oven as a convection method can provide the best results.

Abstract

Coriander leaves have functional properties such as antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticholesterol, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic. Ethanol-extracted coriander leaves exhibit an antioxidant activity of 91.2287 μg/mL. The high antioxidant activity value of coriander leaf extract can be developed into a free radical scavenging product like facial wash. This research aims to determine the physicochemical characteristics of coriander leaf extract facial wash formulations at 10%, 12.5%, and 15% concentrations. Organoleptic sensory and hedonic tests, as well as physicochemical tests, were conducted. The test data were processed using SPSS and subjected to Duncan's post hoc test. The obtained data were then compared with predetermined standards. The resulting coriander leaf (Coriandrum sativum L) facial wash formulation in this study has a semi-solid texture, distinctive aroma, dark brown color, pH ranging from 6.96 to 9.24, foam stability ranging from 82.15% to 92.80%, irritation value ranging from 8.29 to 8.46, and viscosity ranging from 2436.92 cPs to 3236.38 cPs, but it lacks good homogeneity

Abstract

As the main source of energy for the country, fossil fuels are used to fulfill the needs in every human activity such as cooking. People usually use kerosene and LPG, which are fossil fuels. The increasing use of fossil fuels is inversely proportional to the earth's reserves in nature. Currently, there is a scarcity of fossil fuels such as LPG and kerosene in several places. As petroleum reserves decrease, both LPG and kerosene also decrease. The use of biomass alternative energy sources is one way to solve the current energy problem. The abundant availability of waste from agricultural products is utilized as biomass renewable energy. This is also one of the alternatives to handling agricultural waste by becoming a renewable fuel, environmentally friendly and more economically valuable. This research aims to utilize rice husk into alternative fuel, analyze the characteristics and quality of a mixture of rice husk and sawdust. Biopelets in this study are made from rice husk and sawdust, there are 3 formulations, namely KS-1 husk content lower than KS-2, KS-2 husk content lower than KS-3. The best biopelet from the test results is biopelet with KS-3 formulation with a moisture content of 7.27%, density of 1.322 g/cm3, and calorific value of 3983.39 cal/g.

Abstract

The nutritional state of a plant can range from acute poisoning to acute deficiency. For broad purposes, it could be helpful to categorize the nutritional status into four groups: surplus, ideal, inadequate, and extensive. Nutrients that are considered essential include boron (B), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sulfur (S), and chlorine (Cl). Every nutrient has an effect on the metabolism of plants at every stage of their growth. Of course, breeding techniques are used to improve the efficiency with which plants take nutrients, such as enhancing nutritional utilization and optimizing nutritional efficiency through root modifications. In nutrient-poor soils, for instance, optimizing root shape to boost nutrient uptake efficiency can boost plant output. While developing organs, particularly reproductive organs, transpire at low rates, they need a lot of mineral resources to expand actively. Plants' nutritional efficiency may be effectively increased by using genetic engineering to transfer genes from other species, so overcoming the restrictions imposed by genetic variation within the same species.

Abstract

Indonesian Learning in schools will not be separated from learning literature as one part of the material that must be mastered by students. Not only understanding and mastery of theory, but students must also be able to apply literary learning theory in the form of real works. This relates to the competence of skills that must also be mastered by students as a form and proof of learning outcomes that have been carried out. The use of lecture media, or limited to discussion, is something that students always find and do by teachers. Although some teachers have started to apply several different and creative learning models. This is certainly evidence of the development of learning, considering the current conditions and circumstances require teachers to leave the conventional way and switch to a more modern learning model and a practical way and actually produce learning outcomes not just grades and intelligence in the form of numbers.
