Abstract

This study aims to determine how the headmaster's leadership strategy is in improving the quality of online learning during the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic at MTs Negeri 2 Langkat Regency. naturalistic which means observing a problem subject that arises naturally. The collected data are in the form of narration, text, written, spoken or in the form of pictures. Qualitative research is conducted to understand the activities, behavior and ways of life of other people, social or other natural symptoms. The strategy of the madrasah principal is the key to success in achieving the stated goals of the madrasah. The head of the madrasah as the highest leader in the education unit actually has visionary thoughts in developing the madrasah he leads, such as having a precise strategy in advancing his madrasah. Without a strategy, the madrasah program will not work. Strategy is the first and most important step when a leader intends to advance the madrasa. During the Covid-19 pandemic the learning process could not be stopped even though educational institutions were temporarily closed, face-to-face learning was not allowed, so online learning was implemented where activities were carried out from home. The strategy of the madrasa principal is to implement several applications such as 1) Zooom Meeting, 2) Google Classroom, 3) Google Meet, 4) WhatsApp Group, and 5) Email in supporting the online learning process at MTs Negeri 2 Langkat Regency. This strategy is a solution for students during the Covid-19 pandemic, students can learn from home online, so that they can interact via the media and can receive subject matter provided by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Model of Superior Madrasah Development and Supporting Elements of Superior Madrasah Development. This study uses a library research method by collecting a number of books, magazines, journals, lifets relating to the problem and research objectives. Collecting data with the results of previous studies that support data on the research theme designing a madrasa education management development model with the research process starting with the stages of identifying, finding relevant information, analyzing the findings, and then developing and expressing them into new findings related to the education management development model. at the madrasa. The key to building a superior madrasah must meet several criteria, namely the availability of professional education personnel, complete facilities and infrastructure, a modern, transparent and democratic professional management system, and a curriculum that is in accordance with the needs of society and the challenges of the modern world. In addition, madrasas also need to pay attention to continuously improve quality, develop innovation and creativity, and build a network of cooperation (networking), so that inputs and outputs are good. In other words, developing superior madrasas requires effective and functional carrying capacity, such as superior human resources, infrastructure (representative study rooms, libraries and laboratories), supporting facilities (boarding/ma'had, mosque or prayer room). Excellent madrasah must be designed according to the vision-mission and institutional objectives, analyze the needs of the academic and institutional system, and understand the geographical and cultural context. Meanwhile, its development requires togetherness and a collective mindset, continuous innovation, and utilizing information technology, building open and principled leadership, improving the quality of madrasa governance, improving the quality of the new student recruitment system, increasing the quantity and quality of extracurricular activities, and improving the quality of the extracurricular activities. teaching and professional development activities.

Abstract

Internal school communication includes various elements between students and teachers, teachers and students, teachers and students' parents and teachers and members of the school environment. Research The method used was an interview with one of the respondents, namely the MIS school teacher at Nurul Fadhilah. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Research findings show that associations have an impact on the continuity of interior correspondence at the Nurul Fadhilah MIS School. The following were found to be the impacts of organizational culture: increasing employee engagement at work, job satisfaction, and motivation at work expanding the continuity of inner correspondence between leaders between organizational members and subordinates. The findings of this research indicate that an effective organization can be one that has a strong and positive communication culture, thereby improving the performance and efficiency of representatives. As a result, this research helps develop strategies. Effective communication in the MIS Nurul Fadhilah organization and other schools. The aim of this research is to find out how organizational culture influences the effectiveness of internal communication at the Nurul Fadhilah MIS School.

Abstract

Komunikasi sangat penting bagi organisasi sekolah karena berdampak pada perspektif yang berbeda, mulai dari administrasi hingga kecerdasan antar mitra. Dari sini terlihat betapa pentingnya komunikasi yang menarik untuk mencapai kemajuan dalam pelaksanaan organisasi sekolah, membangun budaya partisipasi, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang baik. Komunikasi yang baik antara kepala sekolah, instruktur, siswa, wali dan instruktur dapat menawarkan bantuan melaksanakan program dan pengaturan instruktif, serta meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi komunikasi modern dalam pendidikan kognitif dapat mempercepat penyebaran data dan mempermudah seluruh anggota organisasi untuk mengaksesnya. Oleh karena itu, administrasi komunikasi yang penting di sekolah sangat penting untuk mencapai tujuan ilmiah dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi komunikasi organisasi antara kepala sekolah dan guru di SMK PAB 8 Sampali menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp grup dapat menjadi media komunikasi yang efektif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi WhatsApp dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dengan efektivitas komunikasi organisasi sebesar 72,1%. Kepala sekolah harus memiliki kemampuan mengatur, menjamin, dan mengarahkan guru-guru agar dapat sesuai menjalankan tugasnya sebagai guru. Komunikasi organisasi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dan mempengaruhi peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terhadap tujuh informan. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan, mengorganisasikan secara sistematis, dan menarik kesimpulan dari data yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran komunikasi organisasi kepala sekolah di SMK PAB 8 Sampali berhasil. Komunikasi organisasi kepala sekolah merupakan kinerja setiap guru dalam perannya sebagai penyampai informasi, peraturan, persuasi, saluran informasi terpadu, perintah, tugas, masukan, pengarahan, dan aturan yang diberikan kepada seluruh guru agar tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer the role of organizational communication in education or learning at MAS Muallimin Univa Medan. The research conducted was qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews. Organizational communication is the flow of information, exchange of information, and transfer of meaning in an organization. Based on the results of research obtained from interviews with several teachers, it can be concluded that the teaching and learning process carried out by teachers is always an interaction activity between students as learning parties and teachers as teaching parties. This process itself is a chain that connects between teachers and students so as to create communication that has a purpose, namely learning objectives. Teachers must create an interactive classroom atmosphere where students can actively participate in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps of implementing basic leadership training activities for Intra-School Student Organizations (OSIS) in State Junior High Schools in Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used is qualitative by prioritizing the process of interaction and in-depth communication between the researcher and the phenomenon under study. Data were collected through observations and interviews with student council advisors, student council administrators, and students. The steps of basic leadership training were designed by considering determining training objectives, planning training materials, group involvement, instilling leadership values and ethics, effective communication training, involving student council leaders as mentoring, and encouraging student council leaders to be positive examples. The results showed that the basic leadership training by the student council had a positive impact in shaping students' characters, including increased self-confidence, creativity, initiative, and responsibility. Positive responses from the school principal, teachers, student council leaders and students indicated the success of the training. Requests for ongoing activities confirmed the desire to continue student leadership development efforts. The recommendation of this study is that coaching and strengthening the role of the student council as an agent of student leadership formation needs to continue to be considered so that the positive characteristics that have been formed can be maintained and improved.

Abstract

This study examines the interaction between educational culture, organizational culture, and communication networks in the context of Al-Hadi School. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research digs deeper into the fundamental values, norms and practices that shape the school learning environment. The findings reveal that Al-Hadi culture emphasizes discipline, adherence to religious values, and innovative teaching methods. While these elements have fostered a strong sense of community, they have also influenced the development of formal and hierarchical communication networks.

Abstract

Masa Pandemi Covid-19 memiliki efek peningkatan dalam penggunaan peralatan listrik. Penggunaan peralatan listrik yang baik dan benar harus diketahui karena merupakan alat yang langsung bersentuhan dengan manusia. Bahaya-bahaya yang dapat ditimbulkan karena penggunaan yang salah dan pemakaian peralatan–peralatan listrik yang di luar standar merupakan tindakan yang dapat membahayakan pengguna dan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang bahaya tegangan sentuh dan hubung singkat pada warga yang berada di desa Kota Pari, Serdang Bedagai. Penyampaian informasi dilakukan dengan metode wawancara langsung kepada warga yang berada pada desa Kota Pari sebagai analisis situasi, presentasi, pemutaran video dan tanya jawab merupakan metode yang dilakukan pada saat dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Peningkatan pemahaman tentang bahaya tegangan sentuh dan hubung singkat berhasil dilakukan dengan hasil peningkatan sebesar 80%. Sehingga diharapkan warga desa kota Pari dapat lebih memahami dan menghindari bahaya kebakaran yang pernah terjadi pada wilayah Serdang Bedagai umumnya dan desa kota Pari khususnya.
