Abstract

A community service program has been designed with the main aim of introducing the basic concepts of videography to public relations staff at the Maritime Museum, while also promoting tourism promotion. Through this training, participants will be given an in-depth understanding of the stages of video production, from pre-production to post-production, as well as basic techniques in shooting, composition and editing using editing applications. It is hoped that the participants will have sufficient skills to create interesting and informative visual content for the promotion of the Maritime Museum as an attractive tourist destination. Hopefully this program can also expand the reach and increase public interest in visiting the Maritime Museum, thereby contributing to the development of local tourism. This program combines practical training with promotional objectives, forming a solid foundation for increasing knowledge and skills while also promoting the beauty and uniqueness of the Maritime Museum as a tourist attraction worth visiting. Thus, this program not only supports the development of participants' skills, but also plays an active role in strengthening the image and tourist attraction of the city of Jakarta.

Abstract

Books are evolving into one of the most important mass communication tools on the planet. As a result, buying books through manufacturing and distribution is a crucial form of mass communication. The research’s purpose is to explore book reprography in copyright. The researchers used qualitative approach with literature study as the research design. The data were generated from different literature, mainly relevant books and scientific articles. The researchers discovered that, under copyright law, the creator's exclusive right arises immediately based on the declarative principle after a work is realized in tangible form, subject to limitations in accordance with statutory and regulatory conditions.

Abstract

All individuals must communicate in the ongoing information exchange process. Indonesian Youtuber Fiki Naki. Fiki Naki has 3.85 million YouTube subscribers as of March 19, 2021. Fiki Naki published “Dayana, Cewek Kazakhstan Yang Ngajak Aku Nikah (Part 1)” on January 11, 2021. The video shows an Indonesian YouTuber meeting a Kazakhstani woman. On January 11, 2021, Fiki Naki reuploaded “Dayana Nungguin Aku di Kazakhstan (Part 2)”. In this second video, Dayana learns that Fiki Naki is an Indonesian YouTuber and resumes her conversation. Dayana mentioned her Indonesian fame and Instagram growth. On January 18, 2021, Fiki Naki re-uploaded his third and fourth videos, “Dayana Cerita Tentang Perasaannya (Part 3)” and “Dayana Sedih Karena Ini… (Part 4),” on YouTube. They talked in this third video to get closer. Fiki Naki asks Dayana personal questions. Their fourth video continues their third. They discuss Dayana's thoughts on Indonesians, who hate and like her. The stimulus-response theory underpins this study. This study examined Fiki Naki's self-disclosure's impact on subscriber perceptions and its degree of influence. This research examines how Fiki Naki's transparency influences subscribers. The researcher will use 4.1 million Fiki Naki YouTube subscribers as of April 30, 2021. This study employed purposive sampling. Since numerous criteria define the sample, this method was chosen: 1. Fiki Naki's YouTube followers. 2. Have they watched Fiki Naki videos with Dayana? Slovin algorithm estimates sample size; with a 5% margin of error, 399.97 is rounded up to 400 respondents.

Abstract

An expression of love is an image of an emotional state or feeling of affection that indicates the way a person expresses love for an action or behavior. Expressions of love that occur in life can be represented by movie. The purpose of this research is to find out about nonverbal messages in the expression of love in Midnight using the paradigm of Constructivism. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with the semiotic method of Charles Sanders Peirce who had Sign, Object, and Interpretant. The results of this research is showing expressions of love through facial expressions, gestures, body language, touch, an appearance that shows the expression of an mother-child love, and vice versa, accompanied by intimate closeness to interactions in mother-child relationships which make it a close relationship, looking at each other, protect each other in a dangerous situation by giving a physical touch like hugging.

Abstract

At the end of 2021, Layangan Putus web series, which is based on the true story of a woman, went viral and was liked by many people. Layangan Putus tells the story of a harmonious domestic life that begins to fall apart with the emergence of a third person, the relationship eventually becomes a toxic relationship. This study aims to determine of infidelity in the web series Layangan Putus by using a qualitative descriptive method based on the theory of Social Reality Construction by analyzing signs based on Peirce's semiotic analysis, namely sign, object and interpretant. The results of this study show a picture of Aris's infidelity such as betrayal, having intimate relationships, giving gifts, hugging and kissing other women besides his wife.

Abstract

The mother figure is a very important figure and also has a big role in the family. In the Dancow Fortigro advertisement entitled “My mother is different, but #LoveBundaSempurna” the figure of a mother with a visual disability appears predominately. This study aims to determine the construction of the figure of a mother with visual disabilities who appears in Dancow Fortigro's advertisement entitled "My Mother is Different, but #CintaBundaSempurna" by using the constructivism paradigm. This study was examined using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis, which has three elements of meaning, namely sign, object, and interpretant. The results of this study found that the figure of a mother with disabilities in the Dancow Fortigro ad has maternal instincts, continues to play a domestic role, has independence, educates children to be independent, and still needs help from others.

Abstract

Color is a very sensitive thing that plays an important role for someone who sees it and has various meanings in it. Including the red and white colors in the video clip "Hingga Tua Bersama". This study aims to determine the meaning of the red and white colors in Rizky Febian's video clip "Hingga Tua Bersama". In this research, the researcher used the social reality construction theory of mass media with a descriptive qualitative approach using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic method which has Sign, Object and Interpretant to interpret the red and white colors in the video clip. The results of this study found that the red and white colors in the video clip "Until Old Together" can be interpreted as purity, sincerity, struggle, emotion, love and innocence.

Abstract

Brand trust is an important thing that the company must pursue. This is because brand trust is closely related to the company's existence. This research was conducted aiming to find out whether there is influence of Brand Awareness and influencer Tasya Farasya on Brand Trust of SKINTIFIC Products. Researchers refer to the theory of communication persuasion matrix to analyze the concept. The method used in this research is quantitative with explanatory research. Technique The sample in this study was calculated using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that brand awareness and influencer Tasya Farasya has a positive and significant effect on brand trust. The independent variable simultaneously influences the dependent variable by 81.9%.

Abstract

Films do not become a reflection of reality in a real building. This research is in progress to find out the reception of the film Akhirat: A Love Story in Jakarta, the plot of the film Akhirat: A Love Story which addresses the issue of interfaith marriages. The theory used in this research is the theory of encoding and decoding. This research uses qualitative accession with reception analysis method. The results of this research show that the four informants in this research agree that Akhirat: A Love Story is a film that has a narration as strong as that of a different religion. On the other hand, the three informants in posizi oposizi aka this film also reflect on the causes and effects of religious entities that are embedded in an image of romance. According to the informant, Sanghe is in a position of negotiation, takama, describing the blessing of parents, as well as the struggle of appearances of different religions is described in a sequence of psychological and physical conditions. Informants in the dominant position of ipsuttu akaa who do not approve of romantic relationships of different religions are wise liars.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi selalu berkembang seiring berkembangnya zaman dan tentunya kebutuhan info tentang teknologi juga dibutuhkan. Fenomena penjualan handphone murah di Indonesia masih marak terjadi. Hal tersebut makin dikuatkan dengan adanya dua kasus terakhir pada tahun 2020 yang berkaitan dengan fenomena tersebut, yaitu kasus import barang ilegal berupa handphone yang dilakukan oleh Pstore yang bisa dijual murah di Indonesia dan kasus penipuan pembelian handphone secara pre order yang dilakukan oleh Grab Toko dengan harga murah padahal produk yang dibeli tidak pernah ada. Channel youtube Gadgetin dengan kontennya memperlihatkan kepada khalayak agar berhati-hati dan waspada dalam membeli handphone dengan harga murah. Dalam studi ini, paradigma positivistik, serta pendekatan kuantitatif, digunakan. Ini adalah jenis penelitian eksplanatori yang menggunakan Teori Uses and Gratification untuk membantu menjelaskan mengapa sesuatu terjadi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah survei dengan penyebaran kuesioner tertutup kepada 400 responden, dilanjutkan dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Pearson's Correlation dan Cronbach Alpha. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data dengan bantuan Uji Koefisien Korelasi dan Analisis Regresi Linier Sederhana. Menurut temuan penelitian, terdapat korelasi 80,3 persen antara kualitas konten gadget di kanal YouTube "Saya coba belanja ponsel murah di Instagram" dengan kepuasan penonton terhadap konten gadget. Sisanya 19,7 persen dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
